Jurnal Ilmiah Kanderang Tingang pertama kali terbit tahun 2010 (mulai edisi 30 Juli 2010). Jurnal ini resmi dimulai berdasarkan SK no. 0005.103/JI.3.2/SK.ISSN/2010.07 Tanggal 30 Juli 2010. Penerbit FKIP Universitas Palangka Raya. Frekuensi terbitan 6 bulanan atau 2 kali dalam setahun. Tingang adalah sejenis burung khas Kalimantan Tengah (Borneo). Gambar burung tingang terdapat pada logo Universitas Palangka Raya. Burung Tingang (enggang) melambangkan pencarian/penelitian ilmu dalam kebebasan, kedekatan dengan alam dan lingkungan. Kanderang adalah suara keras dari burung tingang. Jurnal Ilmiah Kanderang Tingang merupakan sarana untuk menyuarakan hasil pencarian/penelitian ilmu pendidikan. Jurnal Ilmiah Kanderang Tingang memuat artikel hasil kajian dan penelitian pendidikan mengenai kurikulum, pendidik dan perbuatan mendidik/mengajar, peserta didik dan perbuatan belajar, lingkungan pendidikan, penilaian dan evaluasi pendidikan, khususnya bidang pendidikan kimia. Abstract

As time goes by, the population is increasing. With the increasing population, it causes environmental problems. Environmental problems occur due to the greed of humans to exploit nature. Humans are no longer thinking about the impacts of their exploitation. Along with the occurrence of these problems, environmental education was held in schools. The aim is that with this environmental education it is hoped that students will understand more about how their environment is, about what impacts will occur if they overexploit nature. The purpose of this study was to find out how environmental education increases ecoliteracy. The method in this research is library research (library research). The result is that environmental education in schools can increase students' ecoliteracy competence.

Abstract

Physics subjects are one of the subjects that can develop analytical, critical, inductive and deductive abilities in solving problems through scientific activities. However, several research results show that physics is a subject that is less popular because most students consider physics to be abstract, difficult to understand, and not related to life, which has an impact on students' low understanding of physics. This research aims to describe student responses to research-based learning on fluid flow material. The participants were students in the second year of the Physics Education Study Program, FKIP, Palangka Raya University, consisting of 20 people taking the Thermodynamics lecture. The instrument used is a questionnaire response to a concept understanding test. The research results showed that students responded positively to the research-based learning they had participated in. Based on this research, research-based learning activities can be considered as an alternative for carrying out meaningful learning activities, especially in physics learning.

Abstract

Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA) is a quantitative data analysis technique to determine the significance of differences in more than two means of dependent variables. The Manova requirements test includes multivariate normality test with Mardia test and covariance matrix homogeneity test with Box's M test. There are several Manova test statistics, namely Wilks' Lambda, Pillai, Lawley-Hotelling, and Roy's Largest Root. The difficulty of multivariate analysis in calculations that are too complicated has been solved by the existence of statistical software that is increasingly sophisticated, so that it is able to explain the changes or effects of the treatment given and its interactions.The purpose of this study is to analyze the use of Manova in MIPA and health education research. The method used is literature review. The results showed that the use of Manova test in Thus, although both involve scientific approaches and data analysis, health and education research have different methodological characteristics and variable focus.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the types of moral values ​​and forms of conveying moral values ​​in the tradition of reciprocating rhymes at weddings in Tanjung Pura District, Langkat Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques in this research are documentation, recording, listening and taking notes. The data used in this research are words sung by poets or telangkai during wedding parties in Tanjung Pura District, Langkat Regency. The data source for this research is poets or telangkai who sing pantun. Based on the research results, 27 types of moral values ​​were found. These types of moral values ​​are divided into three, namely (1) the relationship between humans and themselves with 3 data, (2) the relationship between humans and other humans with 21 data, and (3) the relationship between humans and God with 3 data. The form of conveying moral values ​​is divided into two, namely (1) the direct form of delivery with 17 data, and (2) the indirect form of delivery with 10 data.Keywords: Moral Values, Tradition of Reciprocating Rhymes, Marriage

Abstract

This investigation aims finding out about the management of educational infrastructure and amenities in the Faculty of Social Sciences Of Palangkaraya. The focus of this research is quality improvement. The goal of this study is to find out the management of infrastructure and facilities for education. This research uses a qualitative use a descriptive tack when approaching. The data a source for this study was based on conversations with the Head of Study Program, students and cleaning staff. The discussion's conclusions obtained from this study are to improve the level of instruction with good infrastructure and facilities management in education. The description of the discussion obtained, namely; (1) The Role of Infrastructure and facilities for education. (2) Distribution of Educational Infrastructure and Facilities. (3) Utilization of Educational Infrastructure and Facilities. The conclusion from this discussion is the importance of managing infrastructure and educational facilities to improve the effectiveness of learning quality.

Abstract

Management of facilities and infrastructure is very important because by managing the facilities and infrastructure of educational institutions, their use will be maintained and clear. In managing the school, the school must be responsible for the facilities and infrastructure, especially the school principal who directly handles the facilities and infrastructure. And the school must be able to maintain and pay attention to existing school facilities and infrastructure. So, with the facilities and infrastructure in schools, students can learn optimally and as efficiently as possible. So the management of facilities and infrastructure must be emphasized even more in educational institutions such as schools. And someone must be responsible for managing the facilities and infrastructure. By managing the facilities and infrastructure in the school, the principal can plan and record what facilities and infrastructure must be used in the school. If all management steps have gone well as expected, it will have a positive impact on students in the teaching and learning process and achieving educational goals effectively and efficiently. So education administrators, whether the government, school principals, teachers, other school personnel or the community, need to continue to strive to improve the quality of education in line with the demands of the times.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to increase elementary school children's insight into the spread of rabies and diseases caused by bites from pets infected with rabies and to find out steps to prevent the transmission of rabies or what is known as animals that transmit rabies to humans. Education activities regarding the dangers of rabies were carried out in Tumbang Jalemu Village, Manuhin District, Gunung Mas Regency, Central Kalimantan. Methods include: counseling, discussions and questions and answers, distributing posters and distributing rabies danger stickers. The results of the first research, through information, educate elementary school students to be more aware of the dangers of the rabies virus which is transmitted through pets, especially dogs; secondly, students, teachers and parents are motivated to prevent transmission from the saliva of animals infected with the rabies virus, considering the importance of health for children; third, with this extension activity, elementary school students receive information about the dangers of the rabies virus, and learn about the characteristics of animals infected with rabies, and steps to handle if they are bitten so they don't contract rabies.

Abstract

Technology adaptive in targeted schools are one of the teaching campuss programs for interesting learning, increasing study motivation and study result of students. However in SDN 3 petuk Katimpun the teacher still using a convention learning model. The research aim is to understand the role of the teaching campuss in technology adaption for teacher in SDN 3 Petuk Katimpun. The reseach was used a descriptive qualitative method and was held in a month. Data collected by doing observation, interview and documentation. The result show that after the mentoring about adaptive technology was held by the researcher and member of the teaching campuss, the teacher was able to produce an interesting media learning and the teaching campuss has important role in order to increase the capability of teacher’s technology adaptation

Abstract

The underlying basis of this research is the identification of several issues at MTS An-Nur Rantebaru, namely the traditional nature of teaching, limited learning resources relying on teacher explanations, students' difficulties in solving mathematical problems, and the average mathematics learning outcomes of students falling below the Minimum Mastery Criteria (MMC). This classroom action research was conducted as an effort to improve teaching with the aim of enhancing students' engagement, communication, collaboration, and mathematics learning outcomes through the application of the PBL model, combined with lecture methods, peer teaching, and discussions, as well as the use of worksheets. The subjects of this research were 25 seventh-grade students at MTS An-Nur Rantebaru. Data analysis techniques involved qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the research showed an increase in both student and teacher activities in the learning process in each meeting of every cycle. Likewise, students' engagement, communication, collaboration, and learning outcomes improved in each meeting. The research was deemed successful in the second cycle with the following achievements: the implementation of teaching activities for teachers reached 95.24%; student activities reached 82.22%; 80% of students were categorized as active or highly active; 84% of students were communicative or highly communicative; 88% of students were collaborative or highly collaborative; and 84% of students met or exceeded the MMC score.

Abstract

This research aims to develop mobile-learning SARITHA-Apps, describe product validity, analyze the development of mobile-learning SARITHA-Apps towards improving learning outcomes and critical thinking of undergraduate students in the Biology Education Study Program, FKIP Palangka Raya University. This research refers to the ADDIE development design and data collection using questionnaire sheets, media expert assessment sheets and material expert assessment sheets. The research results show: (1) one product has been produced as a result of the development of Mobile-Learning Environmental Science material, namely the SARITHA-Apps Mobile-Learning Application; (2) The average result of the Expert Team's assessment of the suitability of the SARITHA-Apps Mobile-Learning Application instrument and product is 91%, which means it is in the "Very Feasible" qualification; (2) The SARITHA-Apps Mobile-Learning application is able to improve student learning outcomes for environmental science material, namely with an N-Gain of 0.4, which means it is in the "Medium" category; (3) Student learning outcomes according to critical thinking skills from the questions given, it was found that the explanation indicator had the highest percentage increase value, namely 6% compared to the percentage increase in other critical thinking indicators, where the self-regulation indicator was 5%, while the analysis and analysis indicators inference of 2%.
