Abstract

This journal is done through observations of pressing issues surrounding human rights for children and their protection. It is aimed to look deeper into the condition of children in Indonesia which is said to be protected by the Indonesian government under human rights laws. The violations around children consist of  children carrying the burden to provide for their families under harsh circumstances. Everyday, children on the streets ask for money, teenagers working in the cities as maids, when they all are supposed to be in school. Child labor revolves around pedophilia, child labor, and child physical and mental abuse. These are mostly done by adults for their personal needs and children are not taken as seriously as they are seen as minors, thus disregarding their feelings. Indonesia government should further investigate on this matter to prevent more child abuse happening in Indonesia. Awareness of child abuse are further observed through surveys from Indonesian general public to determine the perspective towards their consciousness towards this issue. Children should be the main priority as they are the future, thus protection should be more advanced.

Abstract

This study aims to see the impact of the COVID pandemic on a group of people, namely MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) actors. This entrepreneurial sector is known for its flexibility and resilience to withstand all situations and conditions, including during the 1998 monetary crisis. However, during the pandemic, this sector was hit the hardest compared to large companies. This is because the MSME sector in general does not have large savings as part of a precautionary motive. The government actually already has an assistance program for MSMEs affected by COVID. But, of course, MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) actors must rise up to help themselves, not only relying on government programs that may have limitations. This study aims to see the strategies of the MSME actors, both economic and social strategies. Researches on the adaptive strategies of economic actors have indeed been carried out frequently. The difference is that the adaptive strategy that will be examined this time is a strategy during the COVID pandemic. Most of the COVID-19 studies have been conducted in the medical or health sector. Because this research was conducted during the pandemic, interviews were conducted through digital technology, namely WA calling or telephone. There were six research subjects who were interviewed, with various product variants produced. Based on the research results, it was found that there are three kinds of adaptation strategies for MSME actors namely: economic strategy, technology strategy and social network strategy.

Abstract

Abstract Juvenile delinquency is not a new thing in the social life of society, but juvenile delinquency cases are still interesting to be discussed anytime and anywhere. Juvenile delinquency is a form of self-actualization of a child out of the rules or norms that apply in the family and society in their social environment. The juvenile delinquency paradigm is broader in scope and deeper in content. Juvenile delinquency includes actions that often cause unrest in the community, school and family environment. The city of Blitar is also known as the little kutha kang kawentar. The students at MTsN Kepanjenkidul in Blitar City are all Muslim, but they have not fully implemented the attitudes and examples that have been applied in schools. This research method uses a qualitative approach. This primary data was obtained through interviews and field observations. Furthermore, secondary data obtained from primary data. In this study, the researcher acts as an instrument as well as a data collector. The procedure used in data collection, namely in-depth interviews. The interviews conducted were unstructured and open-ended interviews using interview guidelines that had been compiled. Researchers used non-formal visits to informants' homes. Thus the data obtained are in accordance with the answers and information desired, both by informants and researchers during the interview process. The results of the study indicate the importance of improving the quality of parent-child communication because juvenile delinquency is closely related to the family, one of which is the quality of the relationship with parents. High quality relationships can be seen from warmth, acceptance, and protection. Quality relationships not only inhibit problem behavior, but also reduce the incidence of anxiety, depression, and psychological stress. This is in accordance with Bandura which states that the quality of communication between parents and children with problems has a very large impact on one's behavior because one can learn everything from the observations of others (observational learning). Abstract

AbstractThe pandemic creates various pressures and problems in all aspects. Education is the most interesting issue to be described and analyzed. Changes in learning locations can reduce the intensity of student enthusiasm, network barriers, and the slow adaptation process. It can also cause the quality of education to decline, especially at the elementary school level. Students are required to understand learning and are expected to be able to understand all methods that lack support. In addition to teachers as educators, parents also have the same burden as teachers, namely guiding children when learning is carried out. The role of women during the pandemic is experiencing a dilemma, including teachers. Female teachers in addition to having an obligation to their status as a teacher also have a domestic burden that must be done at home. Female teachers have multiple roles and the workload increases while at home. The roles of wives, mothers, and educators are not easy to harmonize. This problem can interfere learning process because it results in lessoptimal implementation as evidenced by students who have difficulty understanding. The purpose of this study was to analyze the role of teachers as educators and domestic duties and to guide their children for online learning. The theory used is liberal feminism which focuses on women and the world of work. This theory is considered very suitable because the theme in this study discusses the position of women and their roles. The method used is descriptive qualitative. So, the results in this study reveal female teachers have more than two roles (i.e. dualism). Apart from being an educator, she also doubles as a mother and wife who takes care of homework during working hours. It has a major impact on her professionalism as an educator. Keywords: Dual role, female teacher, Pandemic, Feminism.
