Abstract

Training of gratitude is expected to grow these factors. Being grateful can lead to positive emotions that may create acceptance the conditions of self and positive social relationships. This training program was conducted for a full day, including induction and release of negative emotions, lesson about gratitude, mutual influence, contemplation, and pouring a sense of gratitude in writing. Training is given to 37 students of class X at SMKN 31 Jakarta. Pre and post test was conducted before and after training, using VAS (Visual Analog Scale) and PANAS (Positive affect-negative affect schedule). The effect of the training was analyzed by counting the change of mean from pre to post test score for each scale. The result showed that there are an increased of positive emotion score means after the training, from 6.92 to 7.41 for VAS and from 3.53 to 3.81 for PANAS score. Then it may concluded that the gratitude training program improve the positive emotion of the students.

Abstract

Community Service Activities aims to provide assistance by utilizing IT in the realization of Cc5 + values for students of SMP St. Yoseph Lahat. The specific target expected from this activity is the increased ability of junior high school students. Yoseph Lahat in designing and creating interactive IT-based presentation materials to prepare the competition OSTARNAS III. The software used is MS Power Point. Methods of implementation undertaken starting from the determination of partners, justification partner issues, procedures undertaken, work plans, and the expec ted output in the mentoring activities. Outcome of the implementation of this activity is expected: 1)students make presentations about interactive Cc5 + values using IT-based technology, 2) students understand the use of technology in making presentation materials about Cc5 + values as a support for the preparation process of the OSTARNAS III contest, and 3) the students mastered the presentation material on Cc5 + values with the best preparation for the competition OSTARNAS III. The results of the questionnaire stated that the OSTARNAS III advisory activities agreed / benefited by 46.67% and strongly agreed / beneficial to Junior High School students. Yosef Lahat equal to 53.33%

Abstract

The target of the community service was the empowerment of the community of Argosari Village, Senduro to produce a ready-to-sell yacon leaf drink. This activity involved lecturers, students, farmer groups, and villagers. There were three stages in this activity, including preparation, implementation, and evaluation.The training included making yacon leaf drink and packaging of product. The community service were conducted for 8 months starting from February to September 2017. The product was a ready-to-sellyacon leaf drink with certificate number of P-IRT No. 2133508030333-22. In addition, the students have been able to socialize with Argosari Village community through yacon processing program and P -IRT permit arrangement.

Abstract

Students are actively demanded such as observing, asking questions, collecting data, associating, and communicating mainly in science learning. However, laboratory facilities in South Surabaya Middle School are known incomplete and some do not even have a laboratory, so as the teacher gives the material using the lecture method. One of the science materials is thermodynamics, especially with regard to calorimeter devices, whose application is about Black Principle. The calorimeter equipment on the market is very expensive, so it is necessary to conduct training and assistance on making simple calorimeter tools bywaste material. The training carried out on the Surabaya South Science MGMP teachers included making calorimeters by used materials, testing tools by practical training, and giving questionnaires in the form of responses and suggestions related to training activities. The results obtained from this activity included the knowledge and skills of the teachers in making simple calorimeter tools of waste material, and positive attitudes from the teachers to apply the tool as a medium of learning in the classroom.

Abstract

This social responsibility (PKM) activity aims to carry out technical training in the preparation of scientific paper and reference management using the Zotero application in writing scientific paper. This activity is applied to the association of Chemistry teachers in Blitar District. The training and mentoring activities consisted of theory and practice with a composition of 30% for theory and 70% for practice, while the m echanism of the workshop activities included preparation, the seminar, and the training phases. Based on the activities carried out, the results show that the implementation of this social responsibilituy activity went well and smoothly, judging from the fact that most participants were quite able to apply Zotero in making excerpts of scientific paper and enthusiastic participants showed high enthusiasm.

Abstract

Intention of activity of this Pengabdian pada Masyarakat (PKM) is to conduct activity of training and is adjacent of partner Industri Kecil Menengah (IKM) in developing the effort shallot fry. Partner during the time have run the effort shallot fry traditionally, yielded to be product to be sold to whole sale. Special goals to be got by partner are skilled way of making shallot fry which with quality evaluated from health side and competent sell. Owning knowledge and earn system applied of management marketing and its business activity, owning good packaging and also have permission legality of is effort. Efektivity and of optimalization of program through giving of training and adjacent in making of shallot fry, giving training of managemen of marketing, assisting to make packaging desain and manage permission legality is effort. Results of this activity indicate that partner very enthusiastic followed of training phase and is adjacent effort which is conducted. Partner feel to like because its effort permission of its fair to middling quality of goodness, its legality also have fufilled big sebagain so that partner feel balmy to run the effort. Ability to produce shallot fry to be expected increasing so that will push society create employment and improving economics and production.

Abstract

Resistensi antibiotik menjadi permasalah global, karena dapat menigkatkan risiko penyebaran penyakit infeksi dan biaya pengobatan akibat munculnya Multidrug Resistant Organism (MDROs) tidak hanya di Rumah Sakit tapi juga di masyarakat. Salah satu langkah upaya pengendaliannya, yaitu dekolonisasi MDROs dengan cuci tangan metode World Health Organization (WHO). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat tentang dekolonisasi MDRO dengan metode cuci tangan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu penyuluhan masalh resistensi antibiotik dan upaya pengendaliannya dan pelatihan mengenai metode cuci tangan menurut WHO sebagai salah satu langkah pengendalian resistensi antibiotik. Hasil penelitian ini adalah masyarakat mampu mempraktekan secara mandiri metode cuci tangan menurut WHO. Respon mitra terhadap pelatihan cukup tinggi dilihat dari antusiasme dan ketertarikan yang tinggi.

Abstract

Nganjuk sebagai surganya bawang merah di Jawa Timur, yang merupakan manisvestasi kearifan lokal yang terdapat di kecamatan Sukomoro kabupaten Nganjuk. Bupati Nganjuk menetapkan bawang merah sebagai Produk Unggulan daerah kabupaten Nganjuk.  Jumlah bawang merah di Nganjuk sangat melimpah dengan luas area 11.300 Ha dengan jumlah petani sebanyak 9.709 orang.  Nganjuk menyumbang 80% bawang merah di Jawa Timur dengan frekuensi panen 2-4 kali setahun.  Produksi bawang merah  tahun 2016 sebanyak 117.501 ton, tahun 2017 sebanyak 119.301 ton. Dengan melimpahnya jumlah bawang merah, maka Sukomoro dijadikan Sentra Bawang Merah di Nganjuk.  Apabila panen raya maka harga bawang merah sangat murah Rp. 7.000-8.000 /kg, hal ini tidak imbang dengan biaya penanaman dan pemeliharaan.  Namun apa dikata karena petani bawang merah hanya mampu menjual hasil panen bawang merah mentah.  Para petani bawang merah di Nganjuk belum mempunyai pengetahuan tentang Teknologi untuk mengolah hasil pertanian.  Apabila hasil panen bawang merah tidak segera dijual maka akan menjadi busuk, dan kalau sudah busuk maka bawang merah tidak laku dijual, hal ini mengakibatkan petani akan mengalami kerugian yang lebih besar.  Sehingga walaupun harganya murah petani terpaksa tetap menjual hasil panen.  Hal ini merupakan suatu dilema bagi petani bawang merah apabila memasuki masa panen raya.  Apabila dijual harganya sangat murah dan mengalami kerugian, apabila tidak dijual bawang merah akan rusak/busuk.  Dengan adanya kegiatan PPPUD akan Menciptakan teknologi pengolahan bawang merah menjadi produk unggulan olahan bawang merah lokal di kabupaten Nganjuk.  Sehingga Nganjuk sebagai penghasil Produk Unggulan Daerah dari Hulu hingga Hilir.                Metode pelaksanaan dalam program PPPUD adalah : (1) Menciptakan teknologi pengolahan bawang merah dengan membuat alat mesin : pemotong daun bawang,  penggiling bawang merah, pengupas bawang merah, pembersih bawang, pengiris bawang dan penggoreng bawang merah, (2) Melakukan pendampingan kepada petani bawang merah dalam membuat diversifikasi produk unggulan bawang merah seperti : (a) Bawang goreng herbal dan nabati, (b) Kerupuk bawang warna warni dengan bahan pewarna alami, (c) Tepung bawang merah rempah-rempah, (d) Pasta bawang merah kaya vitamin, (e) Suplemen kesehatan dari bawang merah, (f) Parfum ruangan herbal, dsb. (3) Membuat Aplikasi media pemasaran hasil produk olahan bawang merah yang berbasis E- Commerce yaitu untuk pemasaran produk secara elektronik.  Sehingga akses pasar lebih luas, pemasaran produk lebih cepat,  produk lebih mudah dikenal oleh masyarakat luas baik dalam negeri dan luar negeri. Melakukan pengujian kelayakan dan komposisi bahan yang terkandung dalam produk olahan serta perolehan sertifikasi Halal dari MUI dan BPOM.

Abstract

This article discusses the activities of community service that raises the theme of mathematics olympiad training with the target is the teachers of math at junior level in Tulungagung regency. The reason for choosing this theme is to see competition in the increasingly rigorous world of education. School is aimed togive birth to outstanding students who can compete in the national, regional, and global arena. One of the problems faced in Tulungagung Regency related to junior high school mathematics is the lack of teachers or supervisors of the Olympics. Solutions offered to MGMP Matematika SMP Tulungagung is held training toteachers of mathematics junior high school for the future teachers can independently accompany students in the arena of mathematics olympiad. The response of the trainees' teachers showed a positive direction. The most important is the increasing insight or knowledge of the ins and outs of the mathematics olympiad.

Abstract

Kandangan Village, is one of the villages in Kandangan sub-district, Kediri where some of its citizens workas farmers, farm laborers, carpenters, masons, construction workers, vegetable vendors, open food stallsand chop. Meanwhile, most of the housewives do not work because they take care of housework. Some ofthem are housemaids, washing and ironing workers, and selling various daily necessities at home(chopping). One type of training from the PKM given was a training in making liquid-based herbal healthdrinks, including syrup empon-empon, minuman alang-alang, and beras kencur which are ready for sale inœcafé and herbal shops. This PKM activity was carried out in August 2018 involving 13 housewives fromKandangan village, which began with the presentation of training materials by the PKM Team, followed byassistance in the practice of making herbal-based health drinks, and ended with reflections/feedback andgiving questionnaires. The target of this PKM activity is the increasing skills of housewives in training inmaking herbal-based health drinks. The results of the questionnaire can be seen that PKM activities aredeclared to have gone well and have been able to provide understanding and strengthening skills in makingherbal-based health drinks for participants.
