Abstract

Background: Cigarettes have a vape or electrical cigarette which used in conventional, its ingredients without tobacco but a liquid that is heated and evaporated in various flavors as develop innovation. Indonesia has increase the using vape of adolescent from the tobacco smokers or the vape smokers itself. Objectives: The purpose of this research is analysis of the character, knowledge, and causes of adolescent use vape. Research Metodes: The method of this study is qualitative with a study approach. The subjects are 5 adolescents which used vape and determined by technic of collecting data Snowball Sampling with interview guidelines as instruments. Results: The results of this study showed that adolescent knew and used a vape since 8 to 18 years. They are courier, two students, freelance, and college student. Adolescent knowledge related to vape or e-cigarettes is good and has no effect on the attitude of using e-cigarettes because although adolescents know the dangers of vaping but still use the vape. The Environmental factors such as the influence of friends, the influence of family, and easily to use vape become factors of teenagers using vape, lifestyle factors such as looking impressive when using vape and following the trend into factors of teenagers using vape, then the factor of exposure to the internet through social media becomes a factor of teenagers to use vape. Conclusion: Based on the study is the adolescent under 18 years old should not use the vape. However, the user of the vape is over the 18 years old or do not use at all.

Abstract

Background: Non-B3 waste is residual waste from business or industrial activities that do not contain hazardous and toxic materials. This research is based on the Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia Number 19 of 2021 concerning Procedures for Management of Non-Hazardous and Toxic Waste from health care facilities. Objectives: This study aims to analyze more deeply related to the Reduction, Storage, Utilization, Stockpiling, and Transboundary Movement of Non-B3 Waste. Research Metodes: This study uses a qualitative method through a descriptive approach with cross-sectional research analysis. Results: From the results of research conducted through interviews, it can be seen that the management of Non-B3 Waste at PT Kharisma Iskandar Muda, Nagan Raya Regency has been carried out in accordance with the regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia Number 19 of 2021 concerning Procedures for Management of Non-Hazardous and Toxic Waste, which is proven with the cooperation between factory managers in maintaining the cleanliness and health of the environment so that it remains productive and not polluted. Conclusion: Prevention of environmental pollution at PT Kharisma Iskandar Muda is very good, because the factory manager always pays attention to the presence of waste so that it does not spill into the environmental area, in addition PT Kharisma Iskandar Muda also utilizes Non-B3 waste from industrial activities as fertilizer for plantations in the PT. that's on its own

Abstract

Background: Male Sex Men (MSM) are one of the high-risk groups for contracting HIV&AIDS due to anal and oral sexual behavior. Based on SIHA 2019 data, MSM is the highest risk factor for HIV and AIDS cases (19%). Research Metodes: The purpose of this study was to identify behavior factors that prevent HIV and AIDS infection in Male Sex Men in Indonesia (MSM). Results: This type of This type of research is non reactive with an ecological study research design with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study is the entire area that became the 2018-2019 IBBS survey consisting of 24 regencies/cities in Indonesia using the specified total population sample. The data obtained were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis. Conclusion: The conclusion in this study is there is a strong relationship between predisposing factors (age and knowledge), and driving factors (peer support) with the behavior of preventing HIV&AIDS transmission among MSM in Indonesia

Abstract

Background: The current COVID-19 pandemic has triggered changes in people's lives and forced the government to implement various policies to overcome the spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia. One of the programs initiated to overcome COVID-19 is to seek community immunity (herd immunity) through the Covid-19 vaccination program. However, the government's COVID-19 vaccination program is still experiencing obstacles due to the large amount of information related to the vaccine itself, which triggers public anxiety and various perceptions. Regional differences also help health workers to engage the community. Especially for children. Objective: The problem in this study is how the level of anxiety associated with vaccination of children in the area is compared with the anxiety of mothers in the coastal area. The purpose of this study was to describe parental anxiety related to child vaccination and to compare the anxiety conditions of parents in urban and coastal areas in Sumbawa Regency. Methods: This research uses quantitative research with a comparative study approach. The samples in this study were mothers and children who had undergone COVID-19 vaccination in urban and coastal areas. The sample that meets the research criteria is 80 respondents who are determined by purposive sampling technique which is divided into 2 areas. Results: Based on the results of statistical tests using the Man Whitney Test using SPSS version 16.0, it is known that the significant value obtained is 0.096. Conclusion: There is no significant difference showing the anxiety of parents living in urban and coastal areas in Sumbawa Regency.

Abstract

Background: Cervical cancer is the fourth most common cancer affecting and killing women and is more common in developing countries than in developed countries. Objective: To determine the impact of knowledge, education, attitudes, and family support on cervical cancer screening behavior among women of childbearing potential (WUS) at the Lapadde Health Center in Parepare City. Methods: This type of study is analytical with a cross-sectional design. The sample for this study was women of childbearing age who were married up to 98 using a targeted sampling technique. A questionnaire was used as a means. Data analysis used Fisher's exact test with p-value < 0.05. Results: The results showed that WUS still lacked knowledge and information. There is testing anxiety and lack of family support, resulting in lack of screening coverage. Conclusions: The study concluded that knowledge level (p=0.040), attitudes (0.036), and family support (p=0.012) had an effect on cervical cancer screening behavior, whereas education had no effect (p=0.674). Abstract

Background: Vaccination efforts are carried out to reduce the transmission of covid-19, but the fear of the emergence of Adverse Events Following Immunization (AEFI) makes people worried and looking for anicipatory actions, namely by consumption of coconut water before and after covid-19 vaccine. Objectives: To find out public’s perception regarding the consmption of coconut water before and after covid-19 vaccine in Samaturue Village. Research Metodes: This study is a descriptive study with a sample of part of the community of Samaturue Village. Sampling with the purposive sampling method was 95 people.. Results: The reseach shows that as many as 72,6% people know that coconut water content can reduce fever. As many as 65,3% people agree to consume coconut water before and after the vaccine. People who consumed coconut water before the vaccine were 23,2%. Conclusion: From the results of research that has been carried out, the community knows the benefits and content of coconut water to relieve fever as much as 73,7%, the persection of consuming coconut water before and after covid-19 is 65,3%, then 23,2% of people who consume coconut water, the encouraging factor for consuming coconut water comes from themselvers with a percentage of 15,8%.

Abstract

Background: plantation activities in the form of harvesting and caring for oil palm require energy or labor or a heavy workload because at the time of these activities' workers need a lot of stamina or energy, especially the production department or harvester section. In connection with these stages, careful handling is needed to prevent work accident disorders including psychosocial disorders in the form of work stress. To anticipate the occurrence of work stress, workers need to be given an understanding of occupational safety and health (K3) through knowledge of factors that cause work stress. Research Methods: quantitative with the type of research that is analytic survey using cross sectional approach. The population in this study were workers harvesting oil palm PT. Cipta Davia Mandiri in East Kutai Regency, totaling 176 people. The sample is 122 respondents. Data analysis using the Chi-Square test. Results: there was an effect of age on the level of work stress in oil palm harvesting workers (p value: 0.000 <: 0.05). There is an effect of working period on the level of work stress on oil palm harvesting workers (p value: 0.000 <: 0.05). There is an effect of workload on the level of work stress on oil palm harvesting workers (p value: 0.013 <: 0.05). Conclusion: age, period of work and workload are factors that cause work stress levels. It is recommended that harvesters avoid work stress, need to create a decent work environment by fostering a family atmosphere and attitude and find solutions to solve problems.

Abstract

Abstrak Latar Belakang: Pola konsumsi remaja cenderung tidak mempedulikan nilai gizi dari makanan yang dikonsumsinya sehingga menyebabkan perilaku tidak sehat. Berdasarkan Global School Health Survey (2015), mengatakan bahwa salah satu masalah yang berkaitan dengan kebiasaan makan remaja adalah kurangnya konsumsi buah dan sayuran (93,6%). Buah dan sayur merupakan sumber makanan yang mengandung vitamin dan mineral yang berguna untuk membantu menjaga fungsi fisiologis tubuh. Tujuan: Tujuan dalam Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan pola konsumsi sayur dan buah pada siswa-siswi SMP Negeri 6 Kota Tangerang Selatan. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian analitik kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 102 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan FFQ. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan sebesar 54,9% siswa memiliki pola konsumsi sayur dan buah kurang. Hasil uji bivariat menggunakan Chi-Square menunjukkan bahwa preferensi/kesukaan (p-value = 0,001), pengaruh orang tua (p-value = 0,028), dan ketersediaan buah dan sayur di rumah (p-value = 0,032) ada hubungan yang signifikan dengan pola konsumsi sayur dan buah. Sedangkan jenis kelamin, pengetahuan gizi, pengaruh teman sebaya, dan konsumsi fast food tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan dengan pola konsumsi sayur dan buah. Kesimpulan: Faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan pola konsumsi sayur dan buah adalah preferensi/kesukaan, pengaruh orang tua, dan ketersediaan buah dan sayur dirumah. Oleh karena itu, orang tua harus menyediakan sayur dan buah yang disukai anak dengan selalu menanyakan kepada anak mengenai sayuran dan buah-buahan yang disukainya. Abstract

Kelelahan kerja adalah masalah yang harus diperhatikan secara serius disemua jenis pekerjaan, hal ini yang menyebabkanhilangnya efisiensi, penurunan produktivitas dan kapasitas seseorang dalam bekerja. Tujuan Penelitian: Menganalisis faktorwaktu kerja, masa kerja, beban kerja dan sikap kerja dengan kelelahan yang dialami oleh karyawan pencucian kendaraan bermotor. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, pendekatan yang digunakan studi kasus dengan teknikwawancara pada 7 orang informan, yaitu 5 orang karyawan pencucian kendaraan bermotor, 1 orang pelanggan, dan 1 orangpemilik tempat pencucian kendaraan roda dua. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa waktu kerja yang fleksibel dan tidak terikat dapat menyebabkan kelelahan, masa kerja mempunyai pengaruh terhadap terjadinya kelelahan, beban kerja internal dan eksternal dapat menyebabkan kelelahan, sikap kerja duduk, berdiri, membungkuk, dan jongkok jika dilakukan secara monoton dapatmenyebabkan kelelahan. Kesimpulan saran penelitian ini, diharapkan karyawan pencucian kendaraan bermotor melakukanperjanjian jam kerja untuk menyisihkan waktu istirahat, waktu makan, dan ibadah minimal 30 menit setiap 4 jam bekerja, melakukan peregangan otot minimal 5-15 menit sebelum melakukan pekerjaan agar otot tubuh tidak terlalu lama dalam keadaan statis.

Abstract

Background: Squash orange squash is a natural drink with the ingredients consist of ice and oranges that are sold in many places such as eatery and vendor. Iced orange squash might not be safe for consumption because bad quality oranges, unclean water, unhygienic sellers, and unstandarlized environmental sanitation of the beverage processing. These could cause indigestion with the symptoms of nausea, stomachache, vomitting and diarrhea. The bacteria often used as the indicator that causes contamination in the beverage is Coliform, for example Escherichia coli. Objectives: To find out about the food safety of iced orange squash in Southeast Pontianak. Research Metodes: This research is descriptive with cross-sectional approach. This research uses bacterial quantification method with Most Probable Number (MPN) as the technique and purposive sampling as the sampling method. Results: This research indicates that 16 samples of Squeezed Orange ice exceed the maximum microbial limit that is with the value range of 20 MPN/100 ml - >1100 MPN/ 100 ml contaminated with Coliform (100%) and Escherichia coli (100%). Conclusion: The tested iced orange squash drinks are not safe to consume and unstandardized according to Permenkes 2010, National Standard of Indonesia and World Health Organization.
