Abstract

The research aims at improving students science learning achievement with material "the characters of light" at grade V SDI Lewopao Central Adonara subdistrict East Flores Regency. It was a classroom action research. The result was that in cycle I, and II, there was score improvement in which ,the average score in cycle I was 62,03 with complete score 46,66%, and in cycle II was 88,33 with perfect result 100%. By the observation sheets during the teacing and learning activities the average score was 61,36% and in cycle II becae 90,90%. In summary, the application of experiment method can improve students science learning. Keywords: Experimental Method, Achievement, Science Subject.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to know the effect of accelerated learning on mathematics problem solving. This was a quasi experimental study. The subject was class VA and VB. The hyphotesis testing used t test calculation. The result was ttest result = 3,071 and ttabel = 2,001, because tobtain > ttable so that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. Tjerefor, it can be concluded that accelerated learning was significantly influence in improving students mathematics problem solving. Abstract

The study aims at improving Bahasa Indonesia learning achievement in reading aloud by using demonstration method. The subject was the students of grade III A at SD Negeri 44 Lubuklinggau. The plan of action was to improve the skill in reading aloud and reading fairy tale. The research was conducted in two cycles, namely cycle 1 and cycle 2 by using demonstration method. The result was, in cycle I, the students who were active in having the discussion to friends were only 3 students in each group or around 37,50%. In contrast, in cycle II there was an improvement in each group. There were 6 students who did the discussion in each group. The significant improvement happened when they answered the questions. There were 3 students or 37,50% that showed the improvement in cycle I to 56,67%. In summary, teaching reading aloud by using demonstration method can improve students achievement. Abstract

The study aims at producing the valid, practical, interactive and potential multimedia to teach science to students achievement at the fifth grade elementary school in Lubuklinggau. The procedure of the study was through Rowntree model including three steps, namely planning, developing and evaluation. The evaluation stepnm used was Tessmer formative evaluation. The result of the material, media and design validation showed that interactive multimedia was valid. In one-to-one test, the students respond positively toward the interactive multimedia. In tryout step on the small group, it categorized as practical. In the field test, it was categorised as medium with score 79,11. It can be concluded that interactive multimedia was developed in the study was valid, practical and potential on students science learning achievement at the Elementary School. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in student achievement on the concept of change in objects by using the demonstration method of Grade VI students at SD Negeri 44 Lubuklinggau. This study used a class action research approach. Subjects in this study were Class VI A students, as many as 32 people consisting of 22 men and 10 women. The results of this study are the implementation of learning about the concept of changing objects using the demonstration method, running according to the scenarios in the lesson plan (renpel), and have succeeded in creating a conducive learning situation where students are directly involved in the learning process, also can increase student motivation to study science which was originally considered difficult. The conclusion of this study, namely the level of student understanding of changes in objects after learning to use the demonstration method can be increased properly. Abstract

The study was to know the improvement of students learning activities by using active learning method by the application of Team Quiz. The study was a classroom action research. The subject was 22 students from grade IV SDI Bhoanawa 1. The data collection was conducted through observation, field note and interview. The result showed the improvement of students learning activities. It was proved by the percentage score of the activities in cycle I for 62% with category 'quite active' and 76 % in cycle II with category 'active'. Abstract

The objective of the research was to find out the application of group work method to improve students achievement in the material of the characters of multiplication at the fifth grade Inpres elementary school in Otobamba. It was a classroom action research (CAR). The techniques to collect the data were observation, interview, documentation, and test. The subject of the research was 16 students. The finding showed that the learning achievement of students in every cycle was improved. In cycle I the average passed score was 31,25 % or 5 students and the average failed score was 68,75 % or 11 students. In cycle II, there were 16 who pass or 100%. In conclusion, mathematics teaching by using group work method can improve students achievement. Keywords: Group Work Method, Achievement, Mathematic Teaching

Abstract

The study aims to improve the quality of learning science in designing at PGSD students of Universitas Flores through ADDIE model with local wisdom based. The research was a classroom action research with some steps such as planning, action, observation and reflection. The data included science learning product with Ende-Lio local wisdom based, students activities and creativity. The result was that the product evaluation in cycle I reached 70%. In cycle II, the percentage improved for 92%. The activities and creativity were also improved. In conclusion, ADDIE model with Ende-Lio local wisdon based can improve students ability in designing science learning. Keywords: ADDIE model, local wisdom Ende-Lio, teaching design.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to improve students achievement in learning social problems at the forth grade students of SD Negeri 18 Lubuklinggau by using group investigation model. The study was a classroom action research (CAR). The study was conducted such as pre cycle was on April 15th 2018, cycle I was on April 21st 2018, and cycle II was on April 28th 2018. The result: there were 10 students (43,47%) who pass the passing grade and 13 students (56,53%) who fail. In cycle I, there were 13 students who pass (56,52%) and 10 students who fail (43,48). In cycle, there were 20 students (86,95%) who pass and 3 students (13,05) who fail. In conclusion, the application of group investigation model improved students learning achievement. Abstract

The study aims to find out the application of Think Talk Write method to thebsixth grade students at SD Negeri 49 Lubuklinggau in the material of 'islamic tithe'. This study was a classroom action research (CAR). The result showed, before treatment, the students score were passed or ≥ 70 reached by 10 students (29.41%). in cycle I, there were 23 students who passed the passing grade (67.61%) and in cycle II there were 31 students who passed (91.18%). Therefore, the method improved students achievement because 85% students passed the passing grade with score ≥ 70. Finally, the application of think talk write can improve students achievement.
