Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between feedback and error communication with Patient Safety Incidents at Hospital X. The research method uses quantitative research with a descriptive-analytical design using a cross-sectional approach. The results of the study showed that health workers with good feedback and error communication never committed a Patient Safety Incident was 94.85%. While those who were less good had committed a Patient Safety Incident of 13.18%. The results of the statistical test obtained an OR value of 2.79, meaning that workers with feedback and error communication were able to prevent Patient Safety Incidents 3 times. In conclusion, there is a significant relationship between feedback and error communication with Patient Safety Incidents. Keywords: Communication, Patient Safety Incidents, Health Workers

This research was conducted in the inpatient ward of Sumber Waras Hospital Cirebon. The research method used is descriptive correlational with a cross-sectional approach. The sample size for this study was 107 nurses using purposive sampling technique. Data collection was conducted using questionnaires and checklists. Univariate analysis was presented in frequency distribution tables, bivariate analysis using chi-square test, and multivariate analysis using logistic regression. The results of the study showed that most respondents had good knowledge (54.2%), strong motivation (96.3%), light workload (50.5%), effective electronic medical record format design (51.4%), and adequate head nurse supervision (61.7%). The analysis of the relationship between knowledge, motivation, workload, and head nurse supervision with the completeness of nursing care documentation showed p-values of 0.788 (knowledge), 0.248 (motivation), 0.407 (workload), and 0.322 (supervision), indicating no significant relationship. In contrast, the relationship between the design of the electronic medical record format and the completeness of nursing care documentation showed a p-value of 0.008 (<0.05), indicating a significant relationship. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Android-based CABG education in improving the quality of life of post-CABG surgery patients. The research method used is experimental research. Measurement of patient quality of life using the Short from Survey 36 (SF36) questionnaire. The data that has been obtained will be categorized based on a scale of 0-100. The results showed that the average quality of life of patients in the experimental group was in the good category (mean = 64.99), and in the control group was also in the good category (mean = 62.28). Based on the research results, both groups showed good categories. Still, the average quality of life score for the experimental group was greater than that of the intervention group, so the provision of Android-based CABG education had a positive effect on the quality of life of post-CABG surgery patients. In conclusion, Android-based CABG education improves the quality of life of post-CABG surgery patients compared to conventional education. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of internet of things (IoT) based sensor devices in increasing knowledge of monitoring the humidity of the physical environment in the homes of pulmonary TB sufferers. The research method used by Research and Development uses a quasi-experimental approach. The initial step was to test the normality of the data using the Shapiro-Wilk statistical test. It was found that the data was not normally distributed, so the statistical test used a non-parametric test, namely the Wilcoxon test. The p value will be considered significant if the p value <0.05. The results of the research show that the field test, a p value of 0.000 <0.05 was obtained, meaning that there was a difference in the average user knowledge score before the intervention was carried out and after the intervention was carried out. The research conclusion is that Internet of Things (IoT) based sensor devices have proven effective in increasing knowledge of monitoring the humidity of the physical environment in the homes of pulmonary TB sufferers. Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effect of career development on turnover intention in nurses. The research method used systematic review through electronic databases (ProQuest, Sage Journal, Science Direct). The results of 10 articles showed that positive career development, such as training and promotion opportunities, was associated with decreased turnover intention in nurses. Job satisfaction emerged as an important mediator in this relationship. In conclusion, effective career development can be an important strategy to reduce turnover intention in nurses. Hospitals need to invest in comprehensive and sustainable career development programs to improve job satisfaction and nurse retention. Further research is needed to explore the effectiveness of career development in reducing turnover intention in nurses, both through qualitative and longitudinal studies.
