Abstract

Various economic surveys from international financial institutions say, starting the year 2023 and year beyond, many countries are threatened by recession (economic slowdown), including Indonesia. Therefore, people must prepare the best possible attitudes and solutions in facing a recession, of course, in a way that is in accordance with Islamic teachings. In Islamic Dates, attitudes and solutions to face recession are always associated with the story of Nabi Yusuf (as), which is immortalized in Al-Qur’an Sura Yusuf. So that the purpose of this research is none other than to find the best relevant attitudes and solutions in facing the Recession through the content of Al-Qur’an Sura Yusuf uses the perspective of Fazlur Rahman's Double  Movement Theory. The results : (1) A state official, should have the characteristics of Prophet Yusuf (as), namely, Makin (Have a good track record), Amin (Honest), Hafidz (Have Skills), and 'Aliim (Knowledgeable). 2). There are five attitudes that must be taken by society, by Individuals, by governments in the face of Recession. 3). The various economic policies of Prophet Yusuf  are relevant for countries around the world in the face of economic recession. This research provides readers with recommendations on the insights of communities or individuals responding to economic recessions and developing strategies to overcome these challenges.

Abstract

Human resources are one of the most important aspects of managing an educational institution. Western theory demands innovations that are sometimes incompatible with Islamic nature. In this regard, this study aims to analyze human resource management innovations based on Islamic principles at Sangkhom Islam Wittaya School Thailand. This research uses case study-based qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation studies. The research informants consisted of principals, educators and education personnel. The results found that human resource management is carried out inclusively by applying Islamic principles, namely regardless of background, identity, and treated fairly, valued, and have equal opportunities in terms of recruitment, development, promotion, and performance appraisal. The school's preference for Islamic ideology and the enhancement of Islamic knowledge are taken into consideration in the placement of human resources. Human resource performance is assessed from a sense of responsibility to carry out the mandate, the profession, and a sense of moral responsibility. The main obstacles in managing human resources are finance and developing the quality of teachers. The results of this study are recommended for Islamic educational institutions that strive to develop the quality of educators and education personnel.

Abstract

This article examines the works of Al Washliyah ulama in Arabic and Malay written in Arabic script. Their works are commonly referred to as Kitab Jawi. This study adopts a literature research with a historical approach, using Mestika Zed's library research model. It utilizes Al Washliyah ulama’s works as the primary reference. The primary data was then analyzed using the content analysis method. The study corroborates the findings of Martin van Bruinessen, Zamakhsyari Dhofier, and Azyumardi Azra, indicating that Al Washliyah ulama has taught yellow book texts at various levels in Al Washliyah madrasas. On the other hand, they have written books in Arabic and Malay with Arabic script. Some of their works have not been republished and are no longer referenced by current Al Washliyah students. Conversely, some of their other works remain republished and references for Al Washliyah students. Their books may be classified further into elementary, intermediate, and advanced books. The results of this study have implications for the enrichment of Islamic literature, especially those sourced from the work of Al-Washliyah scholars

Abstract

The problem encountered at Al Maksum Percut Sei Tuan High School is that classroom learning tends to use a direct approach that focuses on the teacher (teacher center) while students are passive when learning activities take place. This passivity makes students feel bored and has an impact on low student learning outcomes. In addition, the inappropriate selection of methods, models and strategies is also a factor in not optimizing the learning outcomes obtained by students. This study aims to determine student learning outcomes before and after the application of the problem solving learning model. This class action research was conducted in two cycles, where each cycle consisted of four stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects in this study were students of class XI SMA Al maksum precut Sei Tuan which amounted to 25 students. The learning outcomes obtained by students in cycle I obtained 13 students who were complete in learning, and 12 students who were not complete with a percentage of completeness of only 52% and an average score of 65.32. And in cycle II, 21 students were obtained who were complete and 4 people who were not complete, with the percentage of completeness reaching 84% and the average score was 72.08.Keywords: Education innovation, Human resources, Islamic education.

Abstract

: This research analyzes Urang Banjar in banua urang (Serdang Bedagai Regency) with a focus on analyzing the identity and existence of Urang Banjar in Serdang Bedagai, their religious traditions, the existence of Tarekat Sammaniyah that they follow, and the spiritual value in the practice of Tarekat Sammaniyah that they do. This research asks the question what are the spiritual elements and how do they affect Urang Banjar in Serdang Bedagai. To answer the research questions, qualitative research was chosen as a type of research that seeks to present data sourced from the object under study. The approach used is ethnography which focuses on Urang Banjar in Serdang Bedagai. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation studies. The research findings show that the spiritual elements that develop in the Banjar community in Serdang Bedagai are sourced from the Sammaniyah Order which originated from their homeland in Kalimantan. This research confirms that there is an influence of Tarekat Sammaniyah in the religious and social aspects of the community, namely Urang Banjar and Tarekat Sammaniyah have merged in the form of traditions that develop in the community in Serdang Bedai. The results of this research have implications for the addition of Islamic scholarship, as well as showing the development of Islam in the country.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of classroom management and the use of learning media on student learning motivation at SDN Paseseh 01 Tanjungbumi Bangkalan Madura. Learning motivation is a very decisive factor in the educational process, influencing active participation and student enthusiasm. This research investigates the significant influence of effective classroom management and the use of appropriate learning media on student motivation. This research aims to provide insight into improving the quality of education by understanding these key factors. A quantitative approach was used by using questionnaires to collect data on grade VI students of SDN Paseseh 01 Tanjungbumi Bangkalan Madura. Data analysis included regression analysis to determine the extent of the influence of each variable on learning motivation. The research findings show that classroom management, and media use contribute significantly to students' motivation. The study highlights the theoretical and practical implications of these factors, emphasizing their role in creating a conducive learning environment and stimulating intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. The results of this study contribute to a broader understanding of educational practices that positively impact student motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the communication competence of teachers in Islamic religious education institutions, especially in the Al-Quran Education Center in Padang City. This research uses qualitative research method with case study approach and constructivism framework, this research explores communication competence among teachers of Qur’anic education center  in Jannatul Mukmin. Data collection was conducted using observation, interview, and documentation study techniques. Data analysis used data collection techniques, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results revealed that the Padang City government, through the Education and Culture Office, improved the communication competence of Qur’anic education center  teachers by conducting special training on communication skills, namely public speaking, active listening skills, and classroom management), mentoring programs from senior teachers, the establishment of regular discussion forums, the use of educational technology such as instructional videos, interactive applications, and e-learning platforms. The implications of this research can be used as a guide for Islamic religious education institutions in improving teachers' communication competencies and the overall quality of religious education.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the Islamic communication strategy implemented by the public relations department of Solok Regency. Emphasizing the social construction of reality through the social constructivism paradigm, this research focuses on understanding how these strategies are formulated. This research uses qualitative research methods with descriptive methods, examining public communication management and the dissemination of development information. The analysis uses descriptive qualitative methods, including the stages of data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results revealed that it is important to understand local social and cultural dynamics in formulating effective communication strategies. The research reveals the importance of a broader stakeholder engagement approach to managing public and development communication in Solok District, which may include involving the general public, non-governmental organizations and the private sector. By encouraging such collaboration, this research argues that the effectiveness of public communication and community participation in development efforts can be significantly enhanced. This contribution highlights the need for inclusive communication strategies for successful development initiatives.

Abstract

Indonesia as a country with diverse cultures, ethnicities and religions is expected to uphold the values of religious tolerance. However, reality shows that the understanding of tolerance often experiences an imbalance between the Radicalism group that is fanatical about differences in religious teachings and the liberalism group that is too excessive so that it exceeds the limits. This phenomenon is interesting to study, especially through the lens of hadith as one of the important sources of Islamic law in understanding religious tolerance. By using the hadith analysis method and referring to various related references, the author tries to explore and understand the meaning of religious tolerance through the perspective of hadith. This research aims to provide a new view in balancing the understanding of tolerance in the midst of existing diversity, with the hope of realising better religious tolerance in Indonesia. The results explain that an understanding of hadith based on its historical context can be a solid foundation in finding solutions and resolving religious conflicts that exist in Muslim societies, as well as making an important contribution to social harmony in Indonesia. This research has implications for the construction of the concept of religious tolerance from the hadith perspective, which is relevant to be applied as a material for community development in modern times.

Abstract

One of the fundamental problems faced by Muslims is the low ability to read and write the Qur'an properly and correctly among the younger generation. The determination of learning strategies becomes the most important part in this process, especially the learning strategy of the Qur'an with the Tahsin approach. This approach is very necessary because the concepts of learning strategies are not easy to implement. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to describe the Al-Qur’an  learning strategy with the Tahsin approach in improving the quality of Al-Qur’an  reading of students in Islamic Boarding Schools. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The research location is Bangsal Islamic Boarding School. The data collection methods used include observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis. The results showed that the Al-Qur’an  learning strategy with the Tahsin approach at the Bangsal Islamic Boarding School was carried out through a leveling strategy consisting of three classes: reading class 1, reading class 2, and reading class 3, with tajweed and makharijul letter material tailored to different levels of difficulty. Supporting and inhibiting factors for learning implementation come from two main factors, namely internal factors and external factors. This research has implications for improving the quality of students' Qur'an reading.
