Abstract

The importance of character building from an early age requires a special theory in formal education. This research analyses the implementation of Social Constructivism Learning Theory in children's character building in Islamic educational institutions, focusing on its implementation and significance. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection used observation, interviews and documentation studies. The research informants were teachers and students. data analysis through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The findings show that this theory emphasises the importance of children's interaction with the environment, such as teachers and peers, to internalise character values. At Raudhatul Athfal Nur Azro, learning uses methods such as games, cooking class, storytelling, sociodrama, and positive behaviour modelling. The concept of zone of proximal development is applied to help children understand the concept of character through direct experience. Overall, the use of this theory is crucial in shaping positive character in early childhood, creating a generation with integrity and empathy. This research contributes to providing a strong foundation for positive character development in the early stages of children's lives, creating a generation with integrity and empathy, ready to face the complex moral demands of society.

Abstract

Evaluation is the most important part of the learning process because success and obstacles will only be known by the evaluation process. Of course different aspects of ability are different forms of evaluation used, besides that teacher creativity is also required in the implementation of evaluation. With regard to that, this study aims to analyze the form of psychomotor-based evaluation in Arabic language lessons and the supporting and inhibiting factors faced during the evaluation process. This research was conducted at SMP Muhammadiyah Al-Kaautsar PK Kartasura, using qualitative research with data collection techniques of observation, interviews and documentation studies. Research informants are Arabic language teachers and students. Data analysis uses the flow of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the study explain that there are four elements of language skills, namely, tests of listening skills or listening skills reading skills, speaking skills, and writing skills. Supporting factors are through additional observations of each student. The inhibiting factor is the lack of interest in learning Arabic because it is considered a burden, and the diverse backgrounds of students. The implications of this research can be the basis for improving Arabic language evaluation and can also be a best practice for other Arabic language teachers.

Abstract

The availability of educators and facilities is a requirement for the achievement of educational goals, but unavailability is not one of the reasons for not implementing education. In this regard, this study aims to analyze the cultivation of Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan values at SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Surakarta in the midst of limited facilities and educators. This research uses a case study-based qualitative research method. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentation study. Data analysis used miles and huberman techniques, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study explain that the cultivation of Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan values at SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Surakarta continues to run well despite its limitations. In terms of limited facilities and infrastructure, Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah learning is carried out outside the classroom such as courtyards and parks. In terms of media limitations, learning is carried out by optimizing the function of the blackboard. In terms of limited educators, the learning of Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah is concurrently assigned by the Islamic Education teacher.

Abstract

Exploring the Dimensions of Secularity and Spirituality: A Series of Science Integration for Islamic Education Curriculum Development. The emergence of the terms secularity and spirituality arises because there is a stream of human understanding that seeks to separate religion from the social life of society, this concept is known as secular understanding. Conversely, there is also a human understanding that combines harmoniously between religion and social life. This understanding is certainly used as a basic material in the construction of the Islamic education curriculum. The purpose of this research is to know the concept of secularity and spirituality as well as the concept of integration of science for the construction of Islamic education curriculum. This research uses a qualitative method with a library research approach with inductive data analysis. The results of this study indicate that secularity and spirituality must have equality and harmony in the implementation and creation of the curriculum, so that it will be able to print students with understanding and religious content (spiritualization) and real life (secularity). This research can be used as a reference material in the development of Islamic education curriculum construction which currently must adapt to the times.

Abstract

Morals are the essence of Islamic education, teaching Islamic education means teaching morals. This is what is done in madrasas, but of course the construction and implementation are not the same as one another. With regard to that, this research aims to analyze the construction and implementation of Islamic religious education in fostering students' morals. This research was conducted at MAN 2 Medan. The research method used is a qualitative approach, where the data sources used consist of primary data sources and secondary data. Data collection methods in this writing are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the writing indicate that; 1) the implementation of Islamic religious education learning in fostering the morals of students at MAN Medan is carried out in three ways, namely learning in the form of giving material, exemplary and habituation. The material taught is directly related to the moral development of students 2) the moral development of students must continue to be developed by increasing and strengthening discipline in implementation. 3) as for the factors that hinder Islamic religious education learning in fostering the morals of students, namely the time of implementing learning and the environment, because teachers must provide reinforcement about learning material in every lesson and increase supervision so that students do not do things that violate the rules..

Abstract

Principal leadership is an effort to influence the situation, conditions and behavior in the school to move the roots in a school to work well together and to achieve a desired goal with the vision and mission of the school. The principal's leadership role in building quality learners is a very real pride for the community as a measure of success in fostering schools. However, in the application of leadership, there are not a few problems faced. This study aims to analyze the principal's leadership models and strategies in improving the quality of students. This research uses descriptive qualitative research, which was conducted at SMK Nusaputera 2 Semarang. Data collection using observation, interviews and documentation studies. The results showed that the leadership model used is a transformative model, which aims to inspire and guide learners to reach their best potential and achieve extraordinary goals. The principal's strategy is very important to participate in building quality learners by participating in realizing the school's vision and mission. The findings in this study are the optimal motivation of the principal to achieve the desired goals. Not only that, the development of the school environment and culture is also a strategy to improve the quality of students.

Abstract

The values of Islamic education are things that must be owned and applied to students. There are many ways to obtain these values, including through the Friday Blessing program. In this regard, this study aims to analyze the application of the Friday Blessing program in improving the values of Islamic Religious Education for students. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques were conducted through interviews, observation, and documentation, with the research subjects being the principal, teachers, and students. This research was conducted at SMK Swasta Mandiri in Panai Hulu, Labuhan Batu, North Sumatra. The data analysis technique used descriptive methods to describe the implementation of the Friday Blessing program in improving Islamic Religious Education values. The results showed that the implementation of the Friday Blessing program at SMK Swasta Mandiri is carried out twice a week, the donations given are in the form of money and staples. The implementation technique is that students visit the residence of the recipient of the donation accompanied by the teacher of SMK Swasta Mandiri, this intends to foster the social spirit and generosity of students in giving alms, which is part of the learning values of Islamic Religious Education. With this research, it is hoped that it can provide and be able to improve the values of Islamic religious education for students and have a positive impact on the surrounding community.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze and find out the leadership strategy of the madrasa head in improving teacher performance through the value of kayuh baimbai at the Datu Aling madrasa in Tapin district. Qualitative research methods with a case study approach, data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The sources of data were the madrasah head, teachers, foundation leaders, madrasah committee, and student guardians. Data analysis uses the flow of collection, reduction, presentation of data and conclusion drawing. The results of the study revealed that: 1) Madrasah head leadership strategies include: program planning. Implementation, supervision and evaluation of programs that involve all parties, 2) teacher performance has gone well, as evidenced by the activeness of teachers in every learning activity and the absence of the term empty hours in madrasas. As well as being realized in the form of several madrasah achievements both academic and non-academic. 3) The efforts of the Madrasah Principal in improving teacher performance through the value of kayuh baimbai have been realized by providing relevant training and direction from the head of the Foundation and madrasah head to teachers and fostering a sense of mutual cooperation and cooperation in every activity program implementation to realize good quality education according to education standards.

Abstract

Historical records show that there are female figures who make great contributions to the development of education in Indonesia. In this regard, this study aims to analyze the concept of women's education from the perspectives of Raden Ajeng KArtini and Rahma El- Yunusiyah. The research method used is qualitative based on library research. The data used are books related to the two figures.  Data analysis is done by analyzing the content of the literature that has been reduced according to the needs of the research topic. The results of the study explain that the concept of women's education from the perspective of Raden Ajeng Kartini and Rahma El-Yunusiyah is very relevant to the concept of contemporary Islamic education. Where the concept of women's education that both of them offer has similarities both in terms of its purpose, function and objectives. Which can be briefly formulated that women's education is important so that women get their rights and can carry out their roles both as servants of God, family members and members of society properly. Based on the above conclusions, the author assumes that women's education needs to be improved in Indonesia. By combining the thoughts of Kartini and Rahma El-Yunusiyah, this recommendation is expected to provide a foundation for the formation of women's education that is holistic, competitive, and in accordance with human values and Islamic teachings.

Abstract

Pakong Village is a village where the entire community adheres to Islam, where the population is increasing day by day. This increase in population is very influential, one of which is in the food industry, so that consumer demand is increasing and the types of food offered are also diverse. However, it is not uncommon for producers to lack understanding of the importance of product labeling. This research aims to find out the types of haram and halal food in terms of ingredients and processing, as well as analyze related halal certification and halal label status on devil noodle products which are currently a favorite of various circles of society. This research uses a qualitative method with an empirical juridical approach. Data were collected through observations and interviews with several consumers and producers. The results show that some producers still have not applied the halal label correctly, which has resulted in concerns among Muslim consumers. Consumer responses indicate that there is a demand to immediately change the product name to reflect its halalness. The impact of this research is to provide benefits for producers in improving compliance with halal standards and for consumers in ensuring the halalness of the products consumed, as well as being a learning material for various related parties
