Abstract

Currently, learning often imposes global demands, so it does not adjust to the interests and needs of students. For this reason, differentiated learning is offered. This learning is oriented towards teaching methods that optimize the needs of students. Differentiated learning has three strategies 1) content 2) process 3) product. With regard to that, this study aims to analyze the strengths in the differentiated learning process for students at SDN Kertajaya 03 grade 4. The research method chosen is qualitative which explores the phenomenon studied in words, the data collected in the form of prmer and secondary data, through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Primary data sources were collected from teachers and students while secondary from photos and documents. The results of the study showed a change in the level of understanding of students. The strength is in the process that makes it easier for students because it matches their interests, talents and profiles. This research certainly has implications for learning evaluation, so that it can be followed up to improve more optimal learning outcomes, especially in Islamic religious education lessons.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze Imam al-Ghazali's thoughts as the foundation of the paradigm of religious moderation in multicultural education. Imam al-Ghazali is a prominent scholar who advocates views that support religious moderation, tolerance, and interfaith harmony. This research uses the literature method to analyze and summarize Imam al-Ghazali's thoughts and understand how these views can be applied in the context of multicultural Islamic Religious Education. The research findings show that Imam al-Ghazali's thought reflects a strong paradigm of religious moderation. He emphasized the importance of a balanced understanding of religion, as well as values such as tolerance, compassion and peace in Islam. These concepts have significant relevance in the context of a multicultural society, where religious and cultural differences are an unavoidable reality. Islamic education based on Imam al-Ghazali's thought can play an important role in promoting better interfaith understanding, reducing conflict, and building harmonious relationships in multicultural societies. This research underscores the importance of revitalizing the paradigm of religious moderation in Islamic education and integrating it into the Islamic education curriculum. The implications of this research highlight the need for efforts in developing Islamic education that emphasizes the values of religious moderation as a path to a more inclusive, tolerant and peaceful society in the era of multiculturalism.

Abstract

Islamic education thinking provides a theoretical and practical basis for the development of an education system that is in accordance with Islamic principles, strengthens the religious identity of Muslims, and bridges the understanding of the challenges of a dynamic era. This study aims to analyze Ahmad Tafsir's thoughts on Islamic education and its relevance in the context of contemporary Islamic education. The methodology used is a literature study with a qualitative approach. Primary data comes from relevant books by Ahmad Tafsir, as well as several secondary sources such as journal articles and proceedings. Data collection techniques are done through documentation, and data analysis is done by content analysis method of Ahmad Tafsir's works. The results showed that the thought of Islamic education according to Ahmad Tafsir is based on faith as the core of the Islamic education curriculum. His thoughts are able to answer the challenges of moral degradation and are relevant to contemporary Islamic education. The implication of this research can be a foundation in evaluating modern educational practices to be in accordance with Islamic characteristics, as well as the basis for curriculum development to suit the needs of contemporary Islamic education.

Abstract

The course of constitutional law is a compulsory course in the faculty of sharia and law, this course is a basic course to master the study of constitutional law explicitly (textual and development of the times). With regard to that, this study aims to analyse the aspects of curriculum preparation norms according to statutory regulations, the effectiveness of curriculum implementation in improving the quality of learning in constitutional law courses at the Faculty of Sharia and Law State Islamic University of North Sumatra Medan. The research model used is the CIPP (Context, Input, Process and Product) evaluation model. This model is used to determine the implementation of learning process standards in the Constitutional Law (Siyasah) Study Programme, Faculty of Sharia and Law, State Islamic University of North Sumatra. The results showed that in theory the level of norms the existence of regulations regarding the curriculum is in accordance with statutory regulations ranging from laws, government regulations, presidential regulations, ministerial regulations to the rector's regulations of the State Islamic University of North Sumatra Medan is in accordance with the theory of the level of norms. Then, in the results of research on the implementation of the effectiveness of the constitutional law curriculum in the constitutional law study programme (siyasah), there are still many constitutional law students who do not understand the study of constitutional law explicitly.

Abstract

Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) berperan penting dalam menghasilkan peserta didik yang berprestasi. Untuk mencapai tugas mulia ini, dibutuhkan guru PAI yang berkualitas, dengan manajemen pembelajaran yang baik sebagai kunci utama. Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan kontribusi teoritis bagi para pendidik, khususnya kepala sekolah dan guru PAI di SMKN 1 Kalosi, Kabupaten Enrekang, untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar melalui manajemen pembelajaran. Fokus penelitian mencakup pelaksanaan manajemen pembelajaran, hasil prestasi peserta didik setelah penerapan manajemen tersebut, serta faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian termasuk kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, guru-guru PAI, dan peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen pembelajaran guru PAI meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Manajemen ini terbukti meningkatkan hasil belajar di ranah kognitif, psikomotorik, dan afektif. Faktor pendukung internal adalah minat dan motivasi peserta didik yang tinggi, sementara faktor eksternal mencakup hubungan harmonis antara guru dan peserta didik, hubungan baik antara guru dan orang tua, serta sarana dan prasarana yang memadai.

Abstract

Moral education is an important concept that has been studied by many famous figures, but today it is often only a theme of study without deep character cultivation. This study aims to analyse the comparison of the ethical philosophy of Thomas Aquinas and Ibn Miskawaih regarding moral education, especially in the book Tahdzib Al-Akhlak. Ibn Miskawaih is a Muslim philosopher who explores morals rationally and is known as the father of moral philosophy, while Thomas Aquinas is a Christian theologian philosopher who also discusses ethics a lot. Ethics and morals discuss good and bad human behaviour. This research is library research with qualitative methods using journals, books, and previous research. The findings show that moral education should refer to the thoughts of Ibn Miskawaih and Thomas Aquinas, although there are similarities and differences in their concepts, such as views on the human soul, ethical actions, happiness, friendship, and love. This research emphasises the importance of reviewing the concept of moral education rationally to form good character. This research has implications for the application in character building programmes, both in the context of formal and non-formal education, by taking the best aspects of the two philosophers to form individuals with noble character.

Abstract

The influence of globalisation requires study programmes to continuously conduct self-evaluation in order to maintain the relevance of their academic programmes to the development of science and technology, the needs of society, and the demands of the world of work. Problems often arise when study programmes are unable to identify and evaluate themselves in responding to developments in science and technology, the needs of the world of work, and the expectations of graduate users. As a result, curriculum development is not systematic, holistic, and complex. This research aims to analyse the relevance of the curriculum of UIN North Sumatera Law Study Program to the competencies of graduates. The method used in this research is qualitative by collecting primary and secondary data sources which are then analysed. The results showed that the curriculum development of UIN North Sumatera Legal Studies Programme is relevant to the competence of graduates. This can be seen from the structure and distribution of courses that support graduate learning outcomes. The learning outcomes of graduates of the UIN North Sumatera Legal Studies Programme are determined on the profile of graduates as judges, prosecutors, advocates, mediators, legal consultants, and arbitrators who have good personalities, are knowledgeable and up-to-date, and are able to carry out general duties as legal practitioners and special duties in accordance with Islamic ethics, science, and expertise. This research has implications for curriculum evaluation to produce an up-to-date curriculum according to the needs of society.

Abstract

The ability to read turast is urgent for boarding school students, it becomes a tool for studying all learning studies in boarding schools. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Al-Miftah Lil-Ulum on the ability to read the yellow book of Fathul Qarib. the research method used is quantitative, while the data collection technique uses a test instrument in the form of multiple choice that has been tested through the Aiken V test with 3 expert lecturers as assessors then and the person correlation validity test and the reliability test. While the analysis test used is Path Analysis. The results of this research are that there is a direct influence of Al-Miftah Lil-Ulum learning variables on the ability to read the book of Fathul Qarib with a significance value of 0.011, there is a direct influence on the ability to read the book of Fathul Qarib on the ability to understand the book of Fathul Qarib with a significance level of 0, 000, there is a direct effect of Al-Miftah Lil-Ulum learning on the ability to understand the book of Fathul Qarib with a significance level of 0.000 and there is an indirect effect between Al-Miftah Lil-Ulum learning on the ability to understand the book of Fathul Qarib mediated by reading ability. This research has implications for evaluation to improve the ability of students to read the book of turast.

Abstract

Islam entered Myanmar in 1055 AD through Arab traders, initially flourishing in Arakan, which became the centre of the Muslim Kingdom for 350 years. After Arakan was conquered by Burma - later Myanmar - the development of Islam slowed down due to political instability and rejection of Islam by Myanmar's military government as well as provocation from the Israeli government. This research uses a qualitative method with Golchock's historical approach and finds that Rohingya Muslims, ethnic Muslims from Arakan, have been abused by the Myanmar government and Theravada Buddhists for the past 20 years. Hostility towards the Rohingya is due to historical resentment over their 350-year rule and claims that they are illegal immigrants from Bangladesh. The genocide committed by the Myanmar government and Theravada Buddhists since 1982, reaching its peak between 2012-2017, led to a mass exodus of Rohingya to neighbouring countries, especially Bangladesh, where they faced difficult living conditions and chose to leave UNHCR refugee camps. This research highlights the impact of historical conflicts on the Rohingya community, demonstrating the need for a deeper understanding of the political backdrop to address the injustices they experience.

Abstract

Jambur village is one of the villages that has saw land or land which is usually used as raw material for red bricks. The practice of the syirkah contract that occurs is that the land owner and the brick maker collaborate with a contract not in writing but verbally, then the land owner provides capital in the form of his empty land to be occupied as a place for making bricks while the manager manages the land for the bricks making process with land rental cost. Meanwhile, the distribution of sales proceeds is borne by the manager. This research aims to find out the process and views of Islamic law regarding the syirkah contract between land owners and brick managers in Jambur village, District North Panyabungan district Mandailing Natal. This research is field research (field research) with a descriptive qualitative approach using primary and secondary data sources. The author obtained primary data from interviews with land owners, brick managers, religious leaders  and people related to this research. The results of the research show that the practice of syirkah contracts for making bricks in Jambur village, land owners receive rent for their vacant land and receive a mandatory percentage of the number of bricks produced. In Islamic law this is not permitted because it contains multiple contracts and is detrimental to the manager.
