Abstract

Mahasiswa pecinta alam merupakan suatu organisasi intra kampus yang sebagian besar kegiatannya berorientasi di alam bebas dan termasuk olahraga yang ekstrim. Tak jarang para anggota selalu berada dalam tekanan saat berkegiatan, sehingga tiap individu anggota pecinta alam dituntut untuk memiliki keberanian serta ketangguhan mental yang tinggi. Tujuanpenelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui secara empirik pengaruh efikasi diri terhadap ketangguhan mental mahasiswa pecinta alam.Populasi merupakan mahasiswa pecinta alam di universitas yang berada di Gresik. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dengan menggunakan kuesionerketangguhan mental dan efikasi diri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efikasi dirimempengaruhi ketangguhan mental dengan nilai sig 0,000. Berdasrkan nilai R Square sebesar 0.815, yang berarti variabel efikasi diri memberikan sumbangan sebesar 81.5% terhadap variabel ketangguhan mental. Terdapat nilai koefisien regresi bernilai positif 1.207 yang menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positif dan signifikan antara efikasi diri dan ketangguhan mental.

Abstract

The research was conducted with the aim of knowing more deeply about student perceptions of online learning systems. The method used by the author is a quantitative descriptive research method with a purposive sampling technique using 34 students as subjects. Collecting data using a questionnaire. The results showed that most students preferred the offline learning method. Online learning is quite easy for the current learning system, but in some cases there are still some obstacles such as ineffective learning due to poor internet connection so that students do not fully get the gist of lectures that day.

Abstract

Ketatnya persaingan bisnis yang semakin pesat menjadi sebuah tantangan bagi perusahaan startup untuk dapat bersaing dan bertahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara grit dan innovative work behavior pada generasi milenial pelaku bisnis startup. Pengambilan data menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 105 subjek. Kriteria yang diambil adalah generasi milenial pelaku bisnis startup dengan rentang usia 19-34 tahun yang mendirikan usahanya selama 1-8 tahun. Metode nalisis data menggunakan korelasi product moment dari Pearson. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi sebesar = 0,594 dengan p = 0,000 (<0,05). Grit yang baik akan mewujudkan innovative work behavior pada individu.

Abstract

Social comparison is an unavoidable activity when using the social media platform Instagram. This activity can have an impact on the subjective well-being of psychology students at Muhammadiyah University Gresik who use Instagram. The study aims to determine the influence of social comparison on the subjective well-being of these students. A total of 70 students participated in this research using the Incidental Sampling Technique. The method used is a quantitative approach. Data collection was conducted using scales, namely the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS), Positive Affect Negative Affect Schedule (PANAS), and Iowa Netherlands Comparison Orientation Measure (INCOM).The results of the simple regression analysis indicate that the influence of social comparison on subjective well-being is 8.4%, showing an insignificant effect. Thus, students' efforts to avoid excessive social comparison can enhance their subjective well-being, although other factors that could improve students' subjective well-being need to be further examined. Abstract

Toleransi distress memampukan individu untuk bertahan dan toleran terhadap ketidaknyamanan dan kondisi emosi negatif, kondisi fisik serta stimulus aversif atau ancaman yang jika tidak ditangani dapat menyebabkan masalah psikologis yang lebih berat. Partisipan terdiri atas seratus delapan orang berusia 17 – 34 tahun, tingkat pendidikan SMA - S1. Skala toleransi distres, fleksibilitas kognitif, dan spiritualitas digunakan dalam studi ini dengan analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil menunjukkan fleksibilitas kognitif dan spiritualitas berperan signifikan secara simultan terhadap toleransi distress (p<.05) sebesar 34.6%. Secara parsial, hanya fleksibilitas kognitif yang berperan signifikan. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa fleksibilitas kognitif dan spiritualitas dapat mejadi prediktor secara bersama terhadap toleransi distress pada sampel dewasa awal. Studi lanjutan dapat dilakukan dengan mempertimbangakan prediktor lain yang tidak digunakan dalam penelitian ini, serta variasi usia partisipan yang dilibatkan dalam penelitian.

Abstract

Employees are important factor in the development of the company. Employees belonging to the millennial generation are prone to delaying behavior or work procrastination. The research aims to know if there's a link between grit with work procrastination on millenial workers. The research using quantitative method. The sampling technique using purposive technique. The sample of this research employs millenial workers (24 years old - 42 years old) with total of 72 workers. The instrument of this research employs grit scale and work procrastination scale. While the hypothesis of this research using spearman's rho correlation test. According the analysis' result, the Sig. (1-tailed) 0,014 < 0,050. Then, it is concluded that there's a significant link between grit with work procrastination. And then according to the coefficient number of correlation in the amount of -0,260, it means that the strength level of the link is low with the guidelines for the degree of relationship of 0,200-0,399. It is concluded that the higher the grit of someone get, the procrastination would be low. In reverse, a subject that has low grit level, the procrastination would be on higher level. The implication of this research is that there is a negative relationship between grit and work procrastination in millennial employees. Karyawan merupakan faktor penting dalam berkembangnya perusahaan. Karyawan yang tergolong generasi milenial rentan terhadap perilaku penundaan atau prokrastinasi kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah terdapat hubungan antara grit dengan prokrastinasi kerja pada karyawan milenial. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu teknik purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian yang digunakan yaitu karyawan yang termasuk golongan usia milenial (24 tahun – 42 tahun) berjumlah 72 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Skala Grit dan Skala Prokrastinasi Kerja. Sedangkan untuk uji hipotesis menggunakan uji korelasi spearman’s rho. Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapatkan nilai sig. (1-tailed) 0,014 < 0,050 maka dapat dikatakan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara grit dengan prokrastinasi kerja. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi grit yang dimiliki subjek, maka prokrastinasi akan semakin rendah. Sebaliknya, subjek yang memiliki grit rendah akan memiliki prokrastinasi yang tinggi. Implikasi pada penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan negatif antara grit dengan prokrastinasi kerja pada karyawan milenial.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the link between academic self efficacy and academic stress in new student who migrate. Participants in this survey consisted of 106 students from various universities in Indonesia obtained through convenience sampling techniques. The study uses two scales: academic self efficacy and academic stress. Data analysis using Spearman Rho’s correlation technique showed the existence of correlations of r= -0.417 with a significance value of 0,000 (p<0,05). The result showed that there is a students, which means that the greater the academic self efficacy of students, the lower will be experienced by new students. The result of this study can be a reference for new student who are studying in order to be able to improve their academic self efficacy so that they can minimize the occurrence of academic stress.

Abstract

Background: In the face of various academic, social and personal demands, self-regulation is an important factor that can help students organize their time, manage stress, and achieve their goals. Both regular and working students arefaced with a more independent or autonomous environment. Self-regulation infirst-year college students is important because this period is the initialfoundation that will shape learning habits and performance in the following year. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the dynamics of self-regulation of regular students and working students in the first year of college and the factors that influence self-regulation. Method: This research is aphenomenological qualitative research with semi-structured interview method.The analysis technique is Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA).Result: The results found that the choice to continue further study was influencedby internal and external factors from each student concerned. There are severalaspects of self-regulation that are quite influential, namely time management,goal orientation and motivation regulation, which of course have differentcharacteristics between regular and working students. Conclusion: Theimportance of self-regulation for students in order to achieve academic success,especially for regular students. Meanwhile, students work to maintain a balancebetween academic and career success.

Abstract

Background: Women as housewives and breadwinners are expected to have a balance at work and be able to fulfill their roles as wives and breadwinners. Objective: This study aims to determine the correlation between burnout and work-life balance in female teachers in Kota Bangun Sub-district. Method: This research method uses a quantitative approach. The subjects of this study were 63 female teachers in Kota Bangun Subdistrict who were selected using nonprobability sampling technique. The data collection method used was the work-life balance and burnout scale. The data analysis technique used was the Kendall Tau correlation test. The collected data were analyzed with the help of the Statistical Package for Social Science version 26.0 for windows program. Results: The results showed that the r value was -0.415 and the sig value was 0.000 (p<0.05) which means that there is a significant correlation with a moderate category between burnout and work-life balance in female teachers in Kota Bangun District. Conclusion: As for this study, the correlation that occurs in the direction of a negative correlation, which means that the lower the burnout, the higher the work-life balance and vice versa, the higher the burnout, the lower the work-life balance.

Abstract

Currently, there is a lot of advanced technology and equipment in use, but it willnot be able to support the company in achieving its goals without support fromemployees. PT.X is a company that is developing and is not free from variousproblems. This study aims to determine the effect of the need for appreciationand group cohesiveness on the work motivation of PT.X employees in Gresik.This research is a type of correlational research with a quantitative approach.The sampling technique used was the saturated sampling technique, with a totalof 47 employees. The scale used for this study is a Likert scale with 5 answerchoices. The validity test used is content validity and for the reliability test usingCornbach's alpha analysis. The data analysis technique used is multiple linearregression test. The results of this study indicate that the significance value ofthe appreciation need variable is 0.008 > 0.05, then Ha is rejected and Ho isaccepted, which means that there is no influence of the need for appreciation onemployee work motivation. The group cohesiveness variable obtained asignificance value of 0.000 <0.05, so it can be concluded that Ha is acceptedand Ho is rejected, which means that there is an effect of group cohesiveness onemployee work motivation. The contribution of the variable to the esteem needsvariable is 8%, while the group cohesiveness variable is 80%.
