Abstract

Background: The many demands of a mother's role in the household, especially parenting, cause mothers to experience parenting stress. Self-compassion in housewives is thought to have a relationship with parenting stress. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-compassion and parenting stress in housewives. Method: This research is a correlational quantitative research with 120 housewives as the research subjects. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. Data collection methods using two scales namely Self-Compassion Scale and Parenting Stress Scale Data analysis using Pearson product moment correlation. Results: The results of the study obtained a correlation coefficient of -0.441 with a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.001), it can be interpreted that the research hypothesis is accepted. Conclusion: There is a significant negative relationship between self-compassion and parenting stress in housewives. So that the higher the self-compassion possessed, the lower the tendency of parenting stress experienced by housewives.

Abstract

Background: Students are expected to be able to complete their studies andobtain a bachelor's degree. Then they are also required to prepare to enter theworld of work. Not a few students who are in their final semester beforegraduation feel less confident in their abilities. Likewise, support from family orthe environment certainly influences the job search process. Objective: Thisresearch was conducted to determine the influence between self-confidence andsocial support and anxiety about facing the world of work in final year students.Method: This research uses multiple linear regression analysis methods intesting to determine the magnitude of the influence between anxiety about facingthe world of work and self-confidence and social support. Result: Thecontribution of the variable influence of self-confidence and social support toanxiety in the world of work simultaneously produces a percentage of 42.2%which is proven to be very significant with a P value of 0.0001 with an F valueof 41.910

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between perceivedorganizational support and employee engagement at employees. Method: In thisstudy, the sample selection used purposive sampling with the criteria, hasworked for at least 3 months, so that 150 samples were obtained in this study.Result: From the data description, it is found that the results of the responses toemployee engagement show that as many as 77 or 51.3 employees have highengagement, 70 or 46.7%, and 3 or 2% have low engagement. While theperceived organizational support obtained by 24 employees or 16% have highperceived organizational support, 144 employees or 76% have moderateperceived organizational support and 12 people or 8% have low perceivedorganizational support. The results of the product moment correlation analysisshow that the correlation value (rxy) = 0.251 and p is 0.002 or less than 0.05.This shows that there is a positive relationship between perceivedorganizational support and employee engagement. Conclusion: This means thatincreasing positive perceptions about the extent to which the organizationvalues employee contributions and concerns for their welfare, the higher theirengagement. Conversely, increasing the negative perception of the extent towhich the organization values employee contributions and cares about theirwelfare, the lower the engagement applied.

Abstract

Background: Phone snubbing or phubbing is the impact of increasingly developing technological developments, the urge to play with smartphones when communicating can be caused by the fear of missing out. Objective: This research was conducted to determine the effect of fear of missing out (FoMO) on phubbing behavior in Gen Z. Method: The respondents of this research were Gen Z at University X, Surabaya City, as many as 312 people using clustering sampling techniques for sampling. This research is a non-experimental quantitative research. Research data was collected using the FoMO and phubbing scales. Data were analyzed using simple regression techniques with the help of SPSS 26.0. Results: Based on the results of the regression test, a value of 0.176 was found and the correlation coefficient was positive and in the same direction. Conclusion: There is an influence of FoMO on phubbing behavior in Gen Z and because a positive correlation coefficient value was found, the higher the FoMO, the higher the phubbing behavior. The R Square found shows that FoMO influences phubbing behavior in Gen Z by 17.6%.

Abstract

Background: Resilience refers to the attitude of self-defense which is alwayscalm in completing all the processes that are undertaken. Objective: This studyaims to determine the relationship between optimism and peer support with theacademic resilience of final students. Method: The method used is correlationalquantitative with 385 subjects selected using random sampling technique. Datacollection was carried out using a Google form which was distributed via socialmedia using three variable scales. Result: The results of the data analysis showthat optimism is positively correlated with academic resilience. With details onthe optimism variable making an effective contribution of 21.8%, while the peersupport variable with academic resilience has a positive relationship with thevalue of the effective contribution to the peer support variable of 32.9%.Conclusion: So the F test produces a positive and significant relationship to thevariables of optimism and peer support with academic resilience, at 54.9% it isstated that these two variables have influence and 45.1% are influenced by othervariables.

Abstract

Dalam menghafal Al-Qur’an menuntut kemampuan mengendalikan kecerdasan emosional. Sedangkan siswa mudah putus asa, kurang keberanian sehingga hafalan menumpuk dan tertunda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kecerdasan emosional dengan kemampuan menghafal Al-Qur’an dan tingkat kecerdasan emosional siswa di SMP Unggulan Al-Furqon Kota Baru Driyorejo Gresik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif korelasi dengan subjek adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Unggulan Al-Furqon Kota Baru Driyorejo Gresik sebanyak 26 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, tes lisan, interview, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa Kecerdasan Emosional siswa SMP Unggulan Al-Furqon Kota Baru Driyorejo Gresik memperoleh kategori sedang (54%), kemampuan hafalan Al-Qur’an siswa SMP Unggulan Al-Furqon Kota Baru Driyorejo Gresik memperoleh kategori sedang (50%). Hasil perhitungan rumus rhitung (16,583) lebih besar dari nilai rtabel (9,49) dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Hipotesis Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima artinya terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan kemampuan menghafal Al-Qur’an. Abstract

Background: In the academic process, students have the potential to experience academic stress, among others, due to high expectations, a lot of incoming information, academic pressure, and unrealistic ambitions. One of the activities carried out is sports activities. Objective: The objective of the study was to assess the relationship between sport activity and academic stress. Method: A total of 65 student were involved in this study. Age range of 14–17 years, Data obtained from Global Physical Activity Questionnaire (GPAQ) and reported the number of days and duration of activities they spent on studying or working, travelling, and recreational activities. All responses as to the duration were converted from hours into METs. Data academic stress obtained from Perception of Academic Stress Scale. Statistical analysis using analysis of varian was performed using JASP for window version 0.14.1 Result: The research results show an F value of 3.304 with a p value of 0.043 (<0.05). Conclusion: There is a significant difference between the level of sports activity and academic stress. The higher the level of sports activity, the lower the academic stress. Keywords: Academic stress, sport activity, student. Latar Belakang: Peserta didik dalam dalam proses akademik ada potensi mengalami stres akademik antara lain karena ekspektasi yang tinggi, banyaknya informasi yang masuk, tekanan akademis, ambisi yang tidak realistis. Salah satu kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah aktivitas olahraga. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai hubungan antara aktivitas olahraga dan stres akademik siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas. Metode: Sebanyak 65 siswa dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini. Rentang usia 14–17 tahun. Data diperoleh dari Global Physical Activity Questionnaire (GPAQ) dan melaporkan jumlah hari dan durasi aktivitas yang mereka habiskan untuk belajar atau bekerja, bepergian, dan aktivitas rekreasi. Semua tanggapan mengenai durasi diubah dari jam menjadi MET. Data stres akademik diperoleh dari Skala Persepsi Stres Akademik. Analisis statistik menggunakan analisis varian dilakukan dengan menggunakan JASP for window versi 0.14.1. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai F sebesar 3,304 dengan nilai p 0,043 (<0,05). Kesimpulan: Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara tingkat aktivitas olahraga dengan stres akademik. Semakin tinggi tingkat aktivitas olahraga maka semakin rendah stres akademik. Kata kunci: Stress akademik, aktivitas olahraga, peserta didik.

Abstract

Background: Social Media Engagement Scales for Adolescent (SMES-A) is ameasurement tool that measures adolescents' engagement in using social mediaconsisting of 11 items with three dimensions, namely cognitive engagement,affective engagement, and behavioral engagement. Objective: This study aimsto conduct a confirmatory factor analysis and test the gender measurementinvariance of the Indonesian version of the SMES-A in order to produce a scalethat has good psychometric characteristics. Method: This study was conductedon the criteria of subjects aged 11-21 years totaling 851 using ConfirmatoryFactor Analyses (CFA) statistical procedures first and then continued withmeasurement invariance. Result: Based on the results of Confirmatory FactorAnalyses (CFA) shows that the factor structure of the Indonesian version of theSMES-A with three factors fits the data and there is gender measurementinvariance. Conclusion: The Indonesian version of the SMES-A measurementtool does not have measurement bias based on gender group differences.

Abstract

Background: Psychological capital can minimize an individual’s tendency to engage in non suicidal self injury (NSSI) behavior, which is a form of non-adaptive coping mechanism. Objective: This research aims to determine the influence of psychological capital on non suicidal self injury (NSSI) tendencies in generation Z. Method: This research uses a non-experimental quantitative method approach. Respondents in the research were generation Z aged 15-27 years in Village X as many as 148 people using random sampling techniques. The instruments used in this research used the PCQ-24 scale and non suicidal self injury tendencies scale. Result: The results obtained show a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, a correlation coefficient figure of -0.474, an R2 value of 0.225. Conclusion: There is a significant influence of psychological capital on the tendency for non suicidal self injury (NSSI) in Generation Z, where the relationship between the two is opposite, in other words, the higher psychological capital, the lower the tendency for non suicidal self injury

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Pembinaan sepakbola pada level grassroot menjadi tantangan bagi sebagian orangtua, hal ini karena aspek-aspek yang ada dalam pembinaan sepakbola grassroot memerlukan manajemen waktu serta finasial yang baik dari para orangtua. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran orangtua dan manfaat sepakbola bagi anak-anak usia dini melalui pendekatan kualitatif. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan teori yang mendalam. Sebanyak 10 partisipan menjadi sumber informasi pada penelitian ini yang terdiri dari lima pelatih dan lima orang tua pemain sepakbola akar rumput. Melalui wawancara semi terstruktur, observasi, dan analisis dokumen menjadi cara peneliti mengumpulkan data. Informasi yang dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan tema yang telah ditentukan. Hasil: Berdasarkan temuan ini, sepak bola memberikan berbagai manfaat yang signifikan bagi anak-anak di usia dini, baik dalam aspek fisik, sosial, psikologis bagi anak. Orangtua dan pelatih yang menjadi partisipan dalam penelitian ini melihat sepakbola sebagai alat yang efektif untuk mendukung kesehatan fisik, mengurangi kecanduan gadget, meningkatkan keterampilan sosial, serta membentuk karakter anak-anak menjadi disiplin dan bertanggung jawab. Kesimpulan: Pembinaan sepak bola pada anak usia dini dapat dianggap sebagai investasi jangka panjang yang bermanfaat untuk perkembangan anak secara keseluruhan, baik dalam aspek kesehatan, keterampilan sosial, maupun peluang karier di masa depan.
