Abstract

Teknologi sebagai bagian dari pembelajaran merupakan tuntutan bagi guru pada abad 21. Guru fisika masih kesulitan dalam mengintegrasikan berbagai perangkat teknologi ketika melakukan rangkaian proses interaksi antara siswa dan guru dengan sumber belajar. Keberadaan kemampuan TPACK dibutuhkan untuk mewadahi mahasiswa calon guru maupun guru untuk menjembatani kesenjangan antara kemajuan teknologi dan desain kurikulum. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan TPACK mahasiswa calon guru fisika terhadap jenis kelamin dan angkatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah mix method explanatory sequental. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 58 mahasiswa calon guru fisika. Sampel penelitian diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen kuesioner yang diadopsi dari penelitian Arif Hidayat (2019). Data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan uji independent sample t-tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : a) Nilai kompetensi TPACK mahasiswa calon guru fisika rata-rata tinggi ; b) Pada analisis menggunakan uji t, jenis kelamin memiliki perbedaan pada kompetensi CK, PCK, dan TPACK ; c) Sedangkan pada tahun angkatan memiliki perbedaan pada Kompetensi CK, PCK, TCK, dan TPACK. Akan tetapi, pada kompetensi PK, TK, TPK tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara jenis kelamin dan angkatan. Meskipun tidak semua komponen TPACK memiliki perbedaan, perbandingan skor TPACK pada akhirnya menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan berdasarkan jenis kelamin dan angkatan. Dengan demikian, kemampuan TPACK dari mahasiswa calon guru fisika dapat dipengaruhi oleh dua variabel yaitu jenis kelamin dan angkatan.

Abstract

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) approach integrated with High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) has been recognized as an innovative method in enhancing 21st century skills, including critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. This study aims to explore science teachers' perceptions of STEM-HOTS implementation and its impact on improving students' self-efficacy in senior high schools in Bengkulu Province, Indonesia. This qualitative research used a survey method with semi-structured interviews with 13 science teachers from various public schools. The results showed that 77% of the teachers understood the concept of STEM, but none of them applied it in learning. The teachers realized the benefits of STEM in improving students' skills, but faced constraints such as lack of training, facilities and interdisciplinary collaboration. Nonetheless, teachers showed enthusiasm to implement this approach in the future. This study highlights the importance of continuous professional training, provision of resources and policy support to integrate STEM-HOTS in learning. The results of this study make an important contribution to the development of relevant learning strategies to improve the quality of education in Indonesia.

Abstract

21st century learning focuses on student-centered learning, no longer teacher-centered. In 21st century learning, it encourages students to have collaboration skills. In the classroom learning process, collaboration abilities can be measured by working on LKPD (students worksheet) based on collaboration abilities. This research aims to develop LKPD learning media based on collaboration ability rubrics, to determine the level of validity, practicality and effectiveness of LKPD material on environmental change based on collaboration ability rubrics. This research was carried out at SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Jember. This type of research is development research, with a 4D development model. Data collection used teacher and student needs assessment questionnaires, validation tests and continued with student response assessments and pretest posttest trials. Based on data analysis, the results obtained were that the average validity test by three validators was 91.30% in the "very valid" category. The next trial, namely practicality in the form of a student response questionnaire, had an average of 93.26% in the "very practical" category, followed by an effectiveness test in the form of a pretest and posttest assessment which had an average N-gain of 0.59 with the effectiveness category " currently". From the effectiveness results, you can determine students' collaboration abilities through the application of the 21'CLD collaboration rubric. The product of this research is an LKPD on environmental change material based on a rubric for 21st century learning collaboration skills.

Abstract

Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) merupakan prodi yang berfokus dalm mendidik calon guru SD. Mahasiswa PGSD dituntut untuk menguasai 5 bidang studi meliputi Bahasa Indonesia, Matematika, IPA, IPS, dan Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan. Mahasiswa PGSD yang berasal dari lulusan SMA atau SMK memberikan tantang sendiri pada Mahasiswa PGSD dalam belajar di PGSD. Hal ini juga Ketika mahasiswa PGSD belajar konsep Fisika pada mata kuliah konsep dasar IPA. Pemahaman Fisika yang baik sangat penting bagi mahasiswa PGSD karena membantu mereke dalam memahami fenomena alam dan teknologi. Abstract

Dalam pendidikan fisika, banyak konsep abstrak seperti energi tidak dapat diamati secara langsung, sehingga memerlukan metode pengajaran yang secara efektif menyampaikan ide-ide abstrak tersebut. Studi ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana siswa yang membuat animasi stop-motion dapat membantu mengembangkan pemahaman mereka tentang konsep energi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus kualitatif, metodologi penelitian ini melibatkan lima tahap: persiapan, pengenalan, pengenalan fenomena, pembuatan animasi, dan diskusi. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan siswa dalam animasi stop-motion memfasilitasi pengembangan pemahaman mereka tentang konsep energi. Penelitian ini menyoroti bahwa kreasi desain fase oleh siswa membantu mereka memvisualisasikan aspek energi momen demi momen dalam gerakan bola tenis, yang menumbuhkan pemahaman yang beragam di antara siswa. Selain itu, penelitian ini menggarisbawahi peran proses chunking dan sequencing dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Student Worksheets (LKPD) on students' critical thinking abilities in circular motion material. The research method used was quantitative with a quasi-experimental design, involving two groups. The research population was class X students in one of the high schools, with samples taken by purposive sampling consisting of two homogeneous classes. The instruments used include validated critical thinking ability tests, LKPD, observations, and interviews. Critical thinking ability tests were carried out before (pre-test) and after (post-test) treatment. The results showed that the average pre-test score for the experimental group was 65 and post-test was 80, while in the control group, the average pre-test score was 63 and post-test was 70. Data analysis used the independent t-test. showed a significant difference between the increase in critical thinking skills in the experimental group and the control group (p < 0.05). The results of this research indicate that the PBL model assisted by LKPD is significantly more effective in improving students' critical thinking skills compared to conventional learning methods. LKPD helps students follow PBL steps in a more structured manner and encourages active and collaborative involvement. The implication of this research is the need to integrate PBL and LKPD models in the learning curriculum to improve the quality of education and students' critical thinking abilities. This research also suggests training and support for teachers in implementing the PBL model.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah produk berupa game edukasi berbasis PACE pada materi gerak parabola. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur keefektifan media pembelajaran tersebut terhadap peningkatan penalaran siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE, yang meliputi lima tahap berurutan: analisis (analyze), perancangan (design), pengembangan (develop), implementasi (implement), dan evaluasi (evaluate). Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dalam bentuk angket untuk menilai kelayakan produk, serta soal pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur hasil belajar. Analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif, dengan angket yang dinilai menggunakan skala peringkat dan dikriteriakan, lalu persentase skor keseluruhan dihitung untuk menilai validitas media. Data pre-test dan post-test dianalisis menggunakan uji t dan uji n-gain untuk menilai keefektifan terhadap hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan mendapat penilaian dari ahli media sebesar 96%, ahli materi 93%, dan ahli praktisi 93%, dengan rata-rata total 94%, yang masuk dalam kategori “sangat valid”. Untuk uji keefektifan media terhadap hasil belajar, hasil analisis uji t korelasi menunjukkan nilai t hitung > t tabel sebesar 6,903 > 1,676, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh signifikan media terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Selain itu, nilai N-Gain pada kelas eksperimen mencapai 61,4%, yang dikategorikan sebagai “cukup efektif”. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa game edukasi berbasis PACE pada pembelajaran fisika materi gerak parabola efektif dalam meningkatkan penalaran siswa.

Abstract

Positive learning response is an important element of learning activities. Learning response to learning can attract students' attention in learning activities carried out. The purpose of this study was to analyze student responses after using an electronic module on the classification of living things integrated with Sidoarjo local wisdom. This research method is a quantitative research method using instruments in the form of questionnaires given to students. Based on the research that has been done, it shows that student responses when using the electronic module of living creature classification material integrated with Sidoarjo local wisdom obtained a good response with a percentage of 45.85%. Further research is expected to improve and develop 4 aspects of electronic modules based on local wisdom of other science materials, namely presentation of material, language, usefulness and graphics in order to get student response criteria at least in the good category.

Abstract

Abstract Education in Indonesia, as outlined in the “Republic of Indonesia Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System, emphasizes conscious and planned efforts to create a conducive learning environment for learners to actively develop their potential”. This article discusses the need for changes in the learning process, including methods, models, strategies, and learning media, to achieve better educational quality. The current technological advancements have triggered changes in the learning system, requiring teachers to integrate technology and information into teaching. the research was conducted at SMP N 20 Bengkulu City in November 2023. Observations revealed a lack of school facilities, especially projector tools such as infocus, and the use of conventional learning models. This resulted in boredom and the ineffectiveness of teaching and learning activities. Therefore, this research proposes a solution by integrating interactive learning media, such as PowerPoint hyperlinks, and the Think, Pair, and Share (TPS) learning model. The research findings indicate that the use of PowerPoint hyperlink media and the TPS learning model is effective in improving the science process skills of junior high school students. Statistical analysis reveals a significant improvement between the pre-test and post-test. Descriptive tests, normality tests, and homogeneity tests provide an in-depth overview of the sample characteristics and data distribution. Regression analysis indicates that the applied learning model and media contribute to a 64.1% increase in students' science process skills. In conclusion, the research results show that the use of PowerPoint hyperlink media and the TPS learning model can enhance the science process skills of junior high school students. This research makes a new contribution by combining these two variables, opening up space for innovation in learning, and providing a more interactive and engaging approach for both students and teachers. Abstract

This study investigates the impact of creative thinking skills, specifically through the Widening, Connecting, and Reorganizing (WCR) model, on the cognitive learning outcomes of junior high school students at SMPK Sint Vianney Soe. Creative thinking is recognized as a pivotal 21st-century competency that not only empowers students to devise innovative solutions but also influences their learning achievements. However, the relationship between creative thinking skills, particularly the WCR model, and cognitive learning outcomes has not been thoroughly explored. This research addresses this gap using a descriptive-correlational design, collecting data from 55 students through validated instruments. The findings revealed a significant relationship between creative thinking skills and cognitive learning outcomes, represented by the regression equation Y=26.354+0.691X. The analysis showed that 69.7% of the cognitive learning outcomes are influenced by creative thinking skills. Among the WCR dimensions, the widening aspect demonstrated the strongest correlation with cognitive outcomes, followed by the connecting aspect, while the reorganizing aspect was not significantly related to cognitive learning outcomes.
