Abstract

The use of information technology, especially web-based, is increasingly widespread and makes it easier for users to get the information they need. This website is also used as a source of information for new students, especially at UNU Blitar. There is information regarding registration, tuition fees, exam dates, announcements, and other information. So that this website can continue to develop, it is necessary to measure usage using a technology acceptance model which measures the intention to use a technology. Respondents in this research were new students at Nahdlatul Ulama University, Blitar, to measure variables that influence the use of websites as a source of information. As a tool for testing influential variables, partial least squares are used. The model built by researchers has an r-square value for the intention to use variable of 52% which answers the intention to use the website as a means of seeking information, however there are still 48% unknown variables that can strengthen the intention to use the website as a means of seeking information

Abstract

Fermentation in coffee is a stage of coffee processing that affects the formation of coffee taste. At the current case study site, the fermentation results are still inconsistent in each processing due to the lack of monitoring of temperature and pH using measuring instruments. The purpose of this research is to create a real-time Internet of Things (IoT)-based pH and temperature monitoring system for the coffee fermentation process so that fermentation can be carried out optimally. In this study, a prototype method is used in its development. The system uses a microcontroller using a DS18b20 temperature sensor and a pH 4502c sensor and uses a buzzer as an alarm control when fermentation has been completed. Then from the tests carried out on this coffee fermentation monitoring device, it shows that the pH sensor has an error value of 1.36% and an accuracy rate of 98.64%, and the temperature sensor has an error value of 1.32% and an accuracy rate of 98.68%. The test results show that the tool works well.

Abstract

The Indonesia Smart Card is issued by the government to help educators from poor or vulnerable families to continue their education. However, there are still obstacles in the distribution of government assistance, there are still many poor and vulnerable groups of people who do not receive assistance. Thus, calculations are needed that are accurate and easy to carry out. The Naive Bayes algorithm is applied to answer this problem. The resulting accuracy level is accuracy = 84.00%, precision = 75.00% and recall = 75.00%, so it can be concluded that this algorithm is suitable for calculating the eligibility of recipients of government assistance in question.

Abstract

Anime is a moving image created from various photographed or computer-generated images, using an animation style adopted from Japan and characterized by colorful graphics depicting lively characters in an action-packed plot that often uses fantastical or futuristic themes. In 2020, the number of anime and manga fans doubled from 63% to 67%. This research is the design of a streaming anime and manga reader website with the aim of increasing convenience for anime and manga fans in getting the entertainment content they are looking for. In creating the system, the requirements prototyping software development method was used. The result of this design is that the website can be used to access manga reader and anime streaming content which can be filtered using age restriction mode.

Abstract

As we know, today's technological developments are much more rapid than in previous eras. Especially in the field of industrial automation systems. With the rapid growth of technology, one of its functions is to make human work easier by controlling a system automatically. In this article, a method for designing and manufacturing a prototype automatic cooling system for warehouse space using a PID controller is written. The work process in this system is to monitor the temperature in warehouse bagging, this system is controlled using ESP32 and the system controller uses PID while SCADA is used as a monitoring system with DHT11 as a temperature sensor and can also be accessed via the web. With the results of implementing this system, it can make human work easier and more comfortable in carrying out work, especially in closed places.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the efficiency of the change model process in injection molding machines at PT. XYZ by applying the Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED) method. Collected data includes process times, workstation layout configurations, and the effects of changes before and after SMED implementation. The research focuses on the injection molding line that produces components with different molds, requiring significant time for mold changes. Analysis identified 27 work elements in the change model process, aiming to reduce inefficiencies caused by manpower, material, environment, and methods. Improvements were made through training, work method standardization, and layout optimization. The implementation results showed a reduction in change model time by 17.6 minutes per session, increasing productivity and cost efficiency by Rp 1,692,810,- per month. Standardization and training also enhanced the safety and comfort of operators.

Abstract

The potential of solar energy in Indonesia is very large, which is approximately 4.8 KWh/m2, but unfortunately the utilization still low even though the limitations of fossil resources are increasingly worrying. In line with this, the Tana Mori area which is proclaimed to be the location of the G20 Summit must prioritize environmentally friendly concepts, one of which is using renewable energy in the form of utilizing sunlight as an alternative source of electrical energy. To find out the potential of this solar power plant, the Homer Pro application is used, where this application can simulate a renewable energy system with initial input, namely the need for electrical power to be used and draw up a schematic of the technology components that will be applied to this location. With a power requirement of 392.74 kW for the utility system, one photovoltaic system with a capacity of 500 kWp can be used, where the simulation results also produce procurement costs that are almost comparable to the costs for operating and maintaining the system if not using photovoltaic.

Abstract

PT. UES, a construction service company, is preparing to participate in the prequalification stage of the Contractor Safety Management System (CSMS) for project tenders. This research aims to measure the implementation of CSMS during the prequalification stage using the gap analysis method. This method compares data sets to identify gaps. The research methodology includes distributing questionnaires to relevant respondents and reviewing the company's safety documents. The results show a compliance percentage of 73%, indicating gaps between the company's CSMS implementation and the standards set by the employer, thus necessitating improvements in the company's CSMS implementation

Abstract

Stunting is a growth issue in children, a serious concern both in Indonesia and globally, affecting over 149 million children worldwide, including 6.3 million in Indonesia. Despite some reduction, achieving the national target by 2024 remains challenging. The government has issued a Presidential Regulation to address stunting, focusing on family nutrition and environmental hygiene. This study aims to predict stunting prevalence, develop a more accurate prediction model, provide a basis for policy, and contribute to the scientific literature on stunting in Indonesia. The methods used include comparing algorithms such as Neural Network (NN), RBF Network, SVR kernel RBF, and Ordinary Least Square (OLS). The evaluation shows significant performance variation: NN performs fairly well, RBF Network performs better, SVR kernel RBF also performs well, but OLS stands out with very accurate predictions, minimal error values, and high correlation.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology, especially internet network technology, has brought progress in various aspects of life. One of the latest innovations is the Internet of Things, where objects in the real world can communicate with each other via the internet network. Water is a vital element in life, but its quality is often threatened by pollution, so monitoring water quality is crucial. The mineral water industry has an important role in providing clean and safe water, with water quality affecting consumer health. This research aims to design an IoT-based water quality monitoring system at the P2S2 CV mineral water factory. Hafas Situbondo. This system uses the pH4502c and ESP8266 sensors to monitor water quality in real-time, and send data to Firebase for further analysis. Testing shows that the system is capable of providing timely and accurate information, improving monitoring efficiency and response to potential contamination. Thus, it is hoped that this system can increase product safety and consumer confidence in the mineral water produced.
