Abstract

This study aims to determine the students' self-problems experienced at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Medan and their implications for Guidance and Counseling. This research method is a quantitative description with a survey research design. The subjects involved in this study were 62 students from grades VII-2 and VII-5 at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Medan in Medan City. The data collection method used the General AUM Format 2 Junior High School questionnaire. The use of General AUM aims to determine the level of student problems, especially in the field of personal self. The problems experienced by students vary greatly for each individual, this is also experienced by class VII students at MTsN 2 Medan. A problem is a situation or condition experienced by a person that has not been resolved, making it difficult for a person to achieve his goals. Abstract

Students with low academic resilience are influenced by factors of belief in their abilities, the ability to do things well, manage anxiety, and the ability to complete all demands. Based on preliminary studies, It demonstrates that low academic resilience students require assistance in order to become resilient throughout the academic process. Cognitive restructuring methods were used in the group counseling services that were provided as part of the assistance.. The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of cognitive restructuring technique group counseling on the academic resilience of students at SMK IBU Pakusari in the MM major. Respondents who were examined were 372 students with samples taken by 4 students by purposive sampling. Quantitative experiments using a pretest-posttest design with just one group is used in this type of study. This study's methods for gathering data include using a questionnaire. The outcomes demonstrated that the t table's results were: 5.702 > 3.182 at a significance level of 5% (df = 3 n = 4). Abstract

Career information service guidance is important for students because students are still confused about choosing a career. The purpose of this study was to produce a career information module media for class XI of the Accounting Department that students can use as a guide for career selection, and can be used as a guide for guidance and counseling teachers. This study uses 10 stages of the Borg & Gall (2021) model which are adjusted into 6 stages. Collecting data using interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The product validation formula is used to obtain questionnaire results from media experts, material experts, and practitioner experts. The subjects of this study were students of class XI Accounting who were selected by random sampling. The number of research subjects was 10 respondents (small group test) and 5 validators (validation test). The results of the module practicality response questionnaire obtained a score of 92.6%. While media expert validation obtained 90.83% (very feasible), material expert validation obtained 92.5% (very feasible), practitioner expert validation results obtained 94% (very feasible) it can be concluded that the research results regarding the product being developed are acceptable and worth using. Abstract

Teachers must be able to create discipline in students, such as helping students improve their standards of behavior and using the application of rules as a tool to strengthen discipline in learning activities. Therefore, for the success of education, discipline in learning activities for students in the teaching and learning process is absolutely necessary. This type of research is qualitative research based on guidance and counseling action research conducted in 2 cycles. The subjects of this study amounted to 6 members in one group. The methods used in data collection are observation, questionnaires, interviews. Sampling in this study used purposive sampling, namely population sampling was carried out based on criteria determined by the researcher. Based on the results of observations, the results obtained are that the level of student discipline is relatively low. In cycle I the result was an increase in career planning in the medium category by 73% and in cycle II the results were in the highest category which was 95%. So it can be explained that the provision of group counseling services using the behavior contract technique can improve the learning discipline of class VIII students of MTs Al Khoiriyah Keyword: Learning discipline; behavioral contract group counseling

Abstract

Plagiarism is rife in academic activities. Where one of them is the justification of student perceptions of learning achievement. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of cognitive dissonance on plagiarism behavior in students. This research intervention uses the theory of Adishesa & Prawiro (2020). This study replicated the intervention by controlling for the mindfulness variable through the “stop plagiarism” poster and 10 items of knowledge about plagiarism from the University of Southern Mississippi. This study used a posttest only two group experimental design. The sampling technique in this study used convenience sampling and obtained 40 students who were then divided into two groups, namely, the experimental group I and the experimental group II. Data analysis techniques used the Mann Whitney test to determine differences in plagiarism scores in the two research groups. The results showed that there were differences in plagiarism scores in the two groups with the Z test = -4.996 and sig. (2-tailed) is 0.00 < 0.05. The results showed that in the experimental group I where participants were given freedom by working on essays at home, the experimental group I got a higher plagiarism score than the experimental group II. Abstract

Technological developments that are increasingly advanced also offer several features that can attract any user, such as chatting, browsing, listening to music, and online games. Some internet Gaming users reasoned that when they first started using games, one of them was when they felt bored, so that games were considered the right choice as a means of entertainment. However, who would have thought that what started with fulfilling one's own needs could now lead to something addictive. internet Gaming addiction is a phenomenon related to the uncontrolled use of online games. This results in an addictive effect on individuals, so that they are less able to control themselves in using  games. Thus, there is a need for a new perspective on addressing addiction problems that focuses more on the counselee's strengths than deficits, offers individual-centered care, uses empathy, focuses on early and brief interventions, recognizes that there are varying levels of problems in substance abuse, accepts risk reduction as a legitimate treatment goals, and provide access to integrated care. One of the strategies in question is motivational interviewing counseling. Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a person-centered counseling technique designed to help individuals explore and overcome ambivalence about changing their behavior. Abstract

Implementation of group counseling to increase the empathy of class VII students at SMP IT An Nahl. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The population in the study were all students of class VII at SMP IT An Nahl. The sampling method used simple random sampling technique as many as 8 students in class VII C. The results showed that the implementation of group counseling at the first meeting of students mostly did not respond to friends who were expressing opinions. There is only one student who is able to show empathy, such as respecting a friend who is talking by responding and giving feedback. This student is classified as an indicator of empathy. In the second meeting, there were six students who included indicators of empathy to think, understand, feel and communicate, such as students who actively asked questions, dared to express their opinions and were able to respond to their friends' responses. In the third meeting, all students actively argued and asked questions without being appointed by the group leader. This shows that empathy indicators have been realized by every student. Abstract

Aliyah (MA) Plus An Nahl Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota through the Career Guidance Service. Based on the results of observations made by researchers before providing services in these classes there are still many students who do not have career plans. Based on the data obtained, the researcher conducted an action research that refers to career guidance service activities. The reason the researcher will provide career guidance service action is because the counseling teacher does not carry out the service and considers this service necessary to be provided to service participants. This activity is monitored using a checklist. From the results of the research carried out, there were several indicators that experienced an increase in the "very good" category, namely the indicator of introduction to the world of work with descriptors seeking information, the total percentage of 100% of 14 students, then Knowing how to choose a study program with a percentage of 93% of 13 students . And the indicator of knowing various types of secondary schools that can support careers has increased with a percentage of 93% of 13 students, and making decisions with a percentage of 93% of 13 students Keywords: Career guidance; career planing

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the role between communication intensity and partner's social support on marital satisfaction moderated by gender. In this study, the intensity of communication and social support of partners are part of the independent variables, and gender is a mediator variable. While the dependent variable is marital satisfaction. The subjects in this study were residents in one of the sub-districts in Jogjakarta who were married at the age of 5 to 9 years, had children, and lived in the same house. The number of subjects obtained was 102 people. The data collection method uses the scale of each variable including, the marital satisfaction scale, the communication intensity scale and the partner's social support scale. This study uses the Smart PLS ver. 3.0. The results of this study indicate that communication intensity, partner's social support and gender have a major role in increasing marital satisfaction. It was also found that for men the social support of a partner has more influence on marital satisfaction while for women the intensity of communication has more effect on marital satisfaction. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out about the role of guidance and counseling teachers in inclusive education services at MAS Nurul Falah Ciater. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with narrative analysis techniques. The main informants consisted of 1 counseling teacher and 3 inclusive students. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis from the results of this study was carried out by descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that 1) the role of the guidance and counseling teacher in inclusive education services at MAS Nurul Falah Ciater is very important and the problems or constraints of inclusive students can be handled very well by the guidance and counseling teacher; 2) The obstacles faced by guidance and counseling teachers are the lack of facilities and infrastructure that can support the implementation of the inclusion program effectively; 3) Solutions that need to be implemented to maximize inclusion programs in schools include intensifying school evaluation programs, participating in training or BIMTEK related to inclusion services, and supervisory relationships or networks to monitor teacher work programs so that they are better and more planned.
