Abstract

Adolescents, particularly teenage girls, from families that have undergone divorce, tend to exhibit emotional vulnerability when faced with adverse situations. For instance, parental divorce can lead to changes in a teenage girl's attitudes, thoughts, and behaviors. This study seeks to determine whether crisis counseling, employing a reality-based approach, can enhance self-acceptance in children from divorced households. The research methodology employed is a quantitative quasi-experimental design, specifically a one-group pre-test and post-test experimental design. The rationale behind choosing this experimental design is to assess the impact of the intervention. Data analysis techniques, specifically the T Test, are utilized to evaluate the effectiveness of crisis counseling with a reality-based approach in improving self-acceptance among children who have experienced parental divorce. The findings of the study indicate that there is a statistically significant improvement in self-acceptance among children from divorced families who undergo crisis counseling with a reality-based approach. In summary, crisis counseling employing a reality-based approach proves to be a reasonably effective method for enhancing self-acceptance in children from divorced households. Abstract

This research aims to "increase the learning motivation of class XI IPS 2 students through providing group guidance services using the REBT approach at SMAN 3 Jember". This research uses a Guidance and Counseling Action Research (PTBK) study to determine the increase in learning motivation after receiving Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) approach group guidance services. This type of research uses qualitative research which relies on guidance and counseling action research which is carried out in 2 cycles and in each cycle there are three meetings. The data collection method used was observation, questionnaires and interviews with a sample of 5 members. Based on the results of the pre-cycle data, the low percentage was found to be 41% in the low category, after the first cycle of action it was found that 45% were still in the medium category, and in cycle II it increased to 80% in the high category. The conclusion is that providing REBT approach group guidance services can increase the learning motivation of class XI IPS 2 students at SMAN 3 Jember. Abstract

Starting with an incident that arose, there were two students who were twins but different. One of them has traits that are common among children on his age. Meanwhile, the other has a strength that is not generally possessed by children on his age, this student can know which of his interlocutors he can control and which he cannot control. The aim of this research is specifically for parents, so that they better understand how the presence of both parents at home with their child on their child's growth and development and future, such as motivation to learn in children so they get good academic achievement results for their future. The method used is quantitative research with Correlation/Relationship Test analysis techniques assisted by the SPSS 25 application, with a significance level of 5%, worth 0.367. The results of variable (x) and variable (y1) are the results of the questionnaire, while variable (y2) is the odd semester class IV-A. From the calculations, the result was that the first hypothesis, (H1)=x→ y1, the value obtained was 0.753, which could be accumulated in the high and low correlation category, including the "High" category. And the second hypothesis, (H2)=x→ y2 can be concluded, the value obtained is 0.549, which can be accumulated in the category of high and low correlation results including in the "Medium" category. It was concluded that the presence of both parents at home with students had a very significant relationship between learning motivation and students' academic achievement at school. This means that the more intensive the presence of both parents at home with the student will make better the student's learning motivation and also the student's academic achievement Keywords:Parents; Learning motivation; Academic achievement

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic is widely seen as a common enemy by the global community, considering its significant impact on various aspects of human life, such as the economy, education, health, and religion. This paper focuses on how the Islamic religious coping of the Ahlussunnah wal Jama'ah increases psychological resilience because the impact of the pandemic on physical and mental health is extraordinary. Many people who are exposed to COVID-19 end up dying, while many people experience anxiety, fear, and even despair. This research uses a transdisciplinary framework, integrating Islamic perspectives, sociology, psychology, and science. The approach in this research is descriptive qualitative by reviewing the literature. The data source includes three components, namely primary, secondary, and tertiary. Data was collected through an in-depth review of documents. Meanwhile, content analysis is the method for analyzing the findings of this research. This research found that the implementation of Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah Islamic religious coping can increase psychological resilience in facing the pandemic, namely avoiding fear, anxiety, excessive stress, and hopelessness in living life because the pandemic is believed to be fate and a trial as well as a blessing from Allah. In the Islamic religion, it is required always to avoid anything that has the potential to be dangerous, including the danger caused by exposure to the COVID-19 virus. After trying to avoid the pandemic, Rida died; he was the same as a Shahidi, who died in battle for religion. Keywords: Pandemic Theology, Islamic Religious Coping, Psychological Resilience

Abstract

This research aims to determine the level of Overthinking  of Housewives in the PKBI Program. Second, to find out the relationship between the level of religiosity and Overthinking  of housewives in the PKBI program in Palembang City. This research uses a correlational quantitative descriptive approach with the product-moment correlation method, with a population of 22. Data collection techniques use questionnaires, observation and human docking. The instruments used were questionnaires developed from aspects of religiosity and Overthinking , data analysis techniques using validity, reliability, simple linear, and correlation (r) assisted by SPSS version.23. The results of the research show firstly, the level of Overthinking  for housewives in the PKBI program in Palembang City is in the medium category, with details namely that there are 8 people in moderate condition (86%), Overcoming Overthinking  for housewives with a more open condition and placing themselves in an environment with a high level of religiosity to balance thoughts that cause anxiety to become calm, especially for housewives who often overthink their children and husband. Second, the correlation between the level of religiosity and Overthinking  in housewives was obtained (p = 0.000 < 0.05), so it can be interpreted that there is a relationship between the level of religiosity and Overthinking  in housewives. in the Palembang City PKBI program Keywords: Overthingking;Religiocity. Abstract

Every individuals, especially students, certainly has problems in their life. Various problems are also caused by various factors, one of which is problems related to the individual’s own thingking errors which result in irrational belief (illogical). This has been researched by the character Ellis the REBT (Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy) approach which that the consequences/impact of problems faced by individuals are due to their irrational beliefs which distrub the individual themselves. Therefore, counseling is needes to help with these problems, one of which is group counseling which utilizes group dynamics. The purpose of this writing is to learn together about group counseling using the REBT approach. The method used is a literature study which examine exisiting literature. So the result can be seen that you can use group counseling with the REBT approach to help overcome problems related to irrational belief that are changed to more rational (logical). Thus, it can be concluded that overcoming the problems of irrational belief becoming rational belief from the REBT approach can be done through group counseling by utilizing group dynamics to work together to overcome these problems Keywords: REBT; Group counseling

Abstract

Abdi Dalem" refer to individuals that dedicated this life to serving in the palace. They are responsible for assisting in the operational activities within the palace, and additionally, they play a role as cultural servants within their respective regions. "Abdi Dalem" serving at Pura Mangkunegaran in Surakarta includes individuals ranging from the young to the elderly. Despite the limitations faced by the elderly, such as the decline in various functions-physically, psychologically, socially, and economically-they remain determined to continue their service at Pura Mangkunegaran in Surakarta. Therefore, to understand the well-being spirituality of these elderly "Abdi Dalem," it is essential to conduct research to uncover the phenomenon essence that shapes their life experiences. This research used a semi-structured interview method, with three subjects selected through purposive sampling. The criteria for the subjects include being an active "Abdi Dalem" at Pura Mangkunegaran for a minimum of 30 years and being at least 60 years old. Data analysis employs interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA). The result of this research indicate that the subjects had a well-being spirituality predominantly influenced by the existential dimension. This dimension involves the relationship between the individual and society, where the crucial role of self-concept affects the well-being spirituality of the elderly. Abstract

The demands and responsibilities in a new learning environment, namely college, can cause a crisis of confidence for students, especially new students. Positive self-talk is one alternative in increasing the confidence of new students. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of positive self-talk training in increasing the self-confidence of new psychology students at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. This study used a quantitative quasi-experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design. The sample selection was determined using purposive sampling technique. Meanwhile, the subjects in this study amounted to 9 first semester students majoring in psychology at the University of Education Indonesia. Data analysis was carried out with the Wilcoxon test. The results showed a significance value of p = .042 (> 0.05), which means that positive self-talk is effective in increasing the confidence of new psychology students at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia Keywords: Training; Positive Self Talk; College Students

Abstract

Social media often displays the most pleasant moments from other people's lives that they want to show their followers, but this is often used as a benchmark and compared to negative aspects in a person's life to cause social anxiety or fear of missing out. Self-acceptance is one of the factors that influence the fear of missing out. The uniqueness of this study lies in the variables used, some studies reveal the overall psychological well being without revealing the relationship between aspects of psychological well being with fear of missing out which one aspect is self acceptance, some previous studies focused on the Instagram application and this research focused on the TikTok application which is currently a trending application. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-acceptance and fear of missing out Gen Z students using the TikTok application. This research method is quantitative correlational using purposive sampling sample selection technique. The population of this study consisted of 106 Gen Z students domiciled in Solo Raya and a sample of 35 respondents. Psychological scale with Likert scale model consisting of self-acceptance scale and fear of missing out scale prepared by modifying existing measuring instruments. Data analysis using product moment correlation technique. Data analysis yielded a correlation coefficient of -0.552 and a sig of 0.000, hence the hypothesis proposed by the researcher was accepted. That is, the self-acceptance of Gen Z students using the TikTok application has a negative relationship with fear of missing out and vice versa. Abstract

One of the Islamic Boarding Schools located in Bekasi, West Java has a special program that applies to the students, specifically the third level of Aliyah students. The program is in the form of lecture activities that must be followed to meet the graduation requirements for final-year students so that students have three roles. First, the students play the role of third-grade student Aliyah. Second, students play the role of freshmen. Third, the student acts as a student. The three roles of Aliyah third-level students require academic resilience that can help them face difficulties and problems during the learning process. This research uses qualitative methods with a phenomenological approach. The data collection method used semi-structured interview methods and non-participant observation, as well as documentation studies. Furthermore, data analysis uses interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA) with atlas. ti software. This study aims to find out how the picture of academic resilience in students who have three roles. The result of this study is that the academic resilience of students is built by the ability of students to regulate emotions, control impulses, be optimistic, conduct environmental and condition analysis, self-efficacy, and reaching out.
