Abstract

The lack of interest in learning of grade IV students of SDN Sukapura 2, Cirebon City can be seen from the learning activities that are still dominated by the lack of student discipline such as chatting, teasing friends, and going in and out of class. This study aims to describe the interest in learning of grade IV students in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. Interest in learning is an important factor that can influence the learning process of students in elementary schools. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with observation, interview, and questionnaire techniques. The subjects of this study were 27 grade IV students and class teachers as supporting informants. The results of this study indicate that emotional factors have a major influence on students' interest in learning. Students feel bored with abstract and less interesting material, so students lose focus during learning. In addition, self confidence and fear when answering questions cause student participation to be low. The lack of encouragement and support from parents at home is also one of the causes of students' lack of interest in learning. Based on this study, a more contextual and enjoyable learning approach is needed, as well as collaboration between teachers, students, parents, and schools in order to optimally increase interest in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of local content of pencak silat in improving student  literacy at SDN Banjarsari 5. This study aims to analyze the role of local wisdom in strengthening  national identity amidst the flow of globalization. In the modern era, preserving local culture is  important as an effort to maintain Indonesia's cultural heritage. Through a qualitative approach  with descriptive methods, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation  of trainers, class teachers, and students. The results of the study show that pencak silat not only  plays a role as a physical activity, but also becomes a means of internalizing local cultural values  such as responsibility, sportsmanship, respect, and love for the country. Learning takes place  contextually with the support of careful planning, collaboration between teachers and trainers, and  the use of culture-based learning media. The implementation of this local content has proven  effective in shaping character and strengthening student identity, as well as encouraging their active participation in meaningful learning. Recommendations from this study emphasize the importance of teacher training, provision of facilities, and strengthening policies so that culture-based education can be sustainable and widespread.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an innovative learning medium in the form of a card game called UNO Bilangan (UNBIL), integrated with the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative learning model. The primary objective of this development is to improve the numeracy skills of third grade elementary school students, particularly in addition and subtraction of whole numbers. The background of this study is based on the limited use of concrete learning media in mathematics instruction, low student learning motivation, and teachers’ difficulties in designing creative and engaging instructional media. The research method employed was Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects were third-grade students of SD Negeri Tlogo 02 Blitar. Data collection instruments included expert validation questionnaires, teacher feasibility questionnaires, and pretest and posttest assessments to measure students’ learning improvement. The results indicate that the UNBIL learning media meets the criteria of validity and feasibility based on evaluations from experts and educational practitioners. The effectiveness of the UNBIL media in enhancing students’ numeracy skills was demonstrated through N-Gain analysis, which yielded an average score of 0.73, categorized as high according to Hake’s criteria (1999). This finding suggests that the integration of UNBIL media with the STAD learning model is effective in improving students’ learning outcomes in whole number topics. In conclusion, UNBIL learning media based on the STAD model serves as an effective, innovative, and engaging alternative for mathematics instruction in elementary schools, contributing to increased student participation and conceptual understanding.

Abstract

In the era of globalization marked by a moral crisis, education plays a crucial role in shaping students' character. sThis study aims to address three main research questions: how humanistic theory is implemented in fostering students' sense of responsibility in PAI learning at UPT SD Negeri 355 Gresik, what factors influence its success, and what challenges teachers face during the process. Employing a qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that humanistic theory is applied through student-centered learning involving methods such as discussion, reflection, simulation, and project-based activities. Supporting factors include teacher competence, student motivation, active participation, a supportive school environment, and parental involvement. On the other hand, key challenges include limited instructional time, insufficient learning resources, and the negative influence of social media. Despite these obstacles, teachers manage to instill responsibility through empathetic and contextual approaches. The study recommends strengthening collaboration between schools and families, as well as enhancing the availability of resources that support humanistic learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze student engagement, impacts, and obstacles in the implementation of ecobrick-making activities within the Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila at SD Negeri 2 Sanggrahan. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, involving fourteen fourth-grade students and one classroom teacher as informants, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, and was processed using Atlas.ti 9 software through data input, coding, data exploration, visualization, and presentation. The results indicate that: (1) student engagement in ecobrick-making activities was good, as reflected in cognitive, behavioral, and emotional aspects; (2) the ecobrick-making activities had a positive impact on students’ character development, particularly in terms of moral concepts, moral attitudes, and moral behavior; and (3) obstacles in implementing ecobrick-making activities were influenced by both internal and external factors.

Abstract

Social Studies literacy is crucial for shaping students' ability to understand and analyze social issues. However, observations at Terung Elementary School's 5th grade indicate low levels of both Social Studies literacy and student interest. This situation is exacerbated by conventional teaching methods that inadequately engage students. Student interest is a critical factor influencing comprehension of the material. Therefore, an innovative and engaging teaching model, such as the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model, is needed. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of the CIRC model on Social Studies literacy among 5th-grade students. It employs a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental post-test only control group design. The study population consists of all 5th-grade students in Panekan District, Magetan Regency, with a sample of 40 students divided into 20 in the experimental group and 20 in the control group. Data collection techniques include post-tests and interest surveys. The research findings demonstrate a significant difference between the experimental and control groups. This is evidenced by an independent sample t-test yielding a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that the CIRC teaching model significantly improves students' Social Studies literacy. Thus, the CIRC model is effective in enhancing Social Studies learning outcomes for 5th-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengimplementasian P5 tema Gaya Hidup Berkelanjutan dimensi Kreatif pada Fase B di SDIT Mutiara dan ketercapaian dimensi tersebut. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa/I SD kelas IV (Fase B) dan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah kelas IV A. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif yakni penelitian yang menghasilkan data berupa kata-kata tertulis ataupun lisan dari objek yang diamati selama penelitian berlangsung. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru kelas dan siswa. Analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) proses implementasi projek penguatan profil pelajar pancasila pada tema Gaya Hidup Berkelanjutan fase B sudah diterapkan dan terlaksana melalui program mengolah sampah menjadi berkah. Program tersebut melalui tahap (a) Proses perencanaan mencakup pembentukan tim yang akan memandu kegiatan, mengecek kesiapan sekolah, menentukan dimensi karakter profil pelajar Pancasila yang ingin dikembangkan, memilih tema tentang gaya hidup yang ramah lingkungan, menentukan jadwal untuk setiap kegiatan, merancang langkah-langkah dalam setiap kegiatan, serta mempersiapkan materi pembelajaran yang digunakan, (b) pelaksanaan terdiri dari tahap pengenalan mendapat skor 74%; tahap kontekstualisasi, mendapat skor 82%; dan tahap aksi mendapat skor 87%. (c) evaluasi yaitu hasil tes formatif membuat poster dengan skor 83%, hasil observasi produk dengan skor 90%, dan hasil tes sumatif dengan skor 72%. (2) ketercapaian dimensi kreatif pada Implementasi P5 tema Gaya Hidup Berkelanjutan adalah pada tahap Berkembang Sesuai Harapan (BSH).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas media pembelajaran berbasis Augmented Reality (AR) dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas IV di SDN 0711 PTP VII SOSA II. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa dalam memahami konsep-konsep matematika yang bersifat abstrak, khususnya pada materi bangun ruang dan pengukuran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan jumlah peserta sebanyak 25 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar, observasi aktivitas belajar siswa, serta angket tanggapan siswa terhadap penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis AR. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pemahaman konsep siswa, dengan rata-rata nilai meningkat dari 68,4 pada siklus pertama menjadi 85,6 pada siklus kedua. Selain itu, tingkat keaktifan belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan dari kategori “cukup aktif” menjadi “sangat aktif”. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan teknologi Augmented Reality dalam pembelajaran matematika efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep-konsep abstrak serta mendorong keterlibatan siswa secara lebih aktif di dalam kelas.

Abstract

Bidang studi IPA di SD perlu didukung oleh media pembelajaran yang interaktif sehingga dapat memperbaiki capaian akademik siswa. Platform Educaplay merupakan salah satu media interaktif yang dapat digunakan, karena menyediakan berbagai aktivitas edukatif berbasis permainan. Meskipun demikian, efektivitas penggunaannya dalam pembelajaran IPA masih memerlukan bukti empiris. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengtahui pengaruh platform pembelajaran Educaplay terhadap peningkatan kemampuan belajar sains pada siswa kelas V. Metode  yang digunakan ialah kuantitatif pre eksperimen dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest.  Sejumlah 30 siswa kelas V di SDN Banjaragung 3-Bareng Jombang digunakan sebagai subjek penelitian. Instrumen peneliti berupa tes hasil belajar yang diberikan sebelum intervensi (pretest) dan setelah perlakuan diberikan (posttest). Teknik analisis data meliputi uji normalitas yang digunakan sebagai uji prasyarat serta uji hipotesis yang menggunakan Paired Sample t-test. Temuan studi ini memperlihatkan terdapat peningkatan pada capaian akademik siswa setelah belajar dengan dukungan Educaplay. Rerata nilai pretest sebesar 64,40 naik menjadi 81,47 pada tahap posttest, sehingga terdapat peningkatan sebesar 17,07 poin. Hasil  Uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai t = –19,110 dengan p < 0,001, yang mengindikasikan bahwa terjadi perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai pretest dan nilai posttest, sehingga hipotesis nol (H₀) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan Educaplay berpengaruh positif terhadap capaian belajar  khususnya pada materi magnet. Siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran berbantuan Educaplay menunjukkan pemahaman konsep yang lebih baik. Oleh sebab itu, Educaplay layak digunakan sebagai perangkat ajar digital yang berpotensi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan belajar sains di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesiapan, keterampilan, dan keterlibatan peserta didik Sekolah Dasar dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) berbasis Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) di Kabupaten Boyolali. Menggunakan pendekatan mixed methods, penelitian ini menggabungkan data kuantitatif dan kualitatif untuk memperoleh gambaran yang komprehensif mengenai aspek teknis, kognitif, afektif, dan sosial peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesiapan teknis peserta didik berada pada kategori cukup baik, terutama dalam penggunaan ponsel sebagai media pembelajaran, meskipun masih terdapat kesenjangan akses perangkat yang menimbulkan perbedaan keterampilan operasional. Dari aspek kognitif dan afektif, pemanfaatan TIK terbukti mampu meningkatkan pemahaman, minat, dan motivasi belajar peserta didik, namun tantangan seperti distraksi digital dan gangguan teknis masih menghambat keberlanjutan proses belajar. Sementara itu, kesiapan sosial peserta didik mulai terbentuk melalui interaksi dan kolaborasi digital, meskipun masih diperlukan pembinaan intensif mengenai etika berkomunikasi di ruang daring. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peran kolaboratif guru, orang tua, dan sekolah dalam memastikan pemanfaatan TIK secara efektif, beretika, dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan strategi pembelajaran IPAS berbasis TIK yang lebih adaptif dan merata di lingkungan pendidikan dasar.
