Abstract

Self-efficacy is the ability of students to believe in their abilities. One way to improve students' self-efficacy skills at school is to use instructional media. One of the learning media that can be developed is augmented reality-based flipbook media in IPAS matter. The media was developed with the ADDIE development model. Interviews and questionnaires are data collection techniques used by researchers. Validation from media experts got a score of 87%, material experts got a score of 100% and language experts got a score of 82%. This means that the media developed by the researcher is included in the valid category and can be used for research. the results of increasing students' self-efficacy abilities after learning using flipbook media based on augmented reality are calculated using the N-Gain formula and get a score of 0.5122. These results are included in the moderate category. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of flipbook media can help increase students' self-efficacy and make learning more interesting than previous learning.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the ability to understand science concepts regarding changes in the form of objects for class V SD Negeri 160 Palembang. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. The results of teacher and student observations after researchers observed, understood and saw all learning activities taking place. The results of the interviews were reduced to strengthen the results of research observations. As for the results of these observations, the researcher really understands the models, media and methods that the teacher provides during the teaching process. Results of research with 7 informants from class V students and class V teachers, where for the ability to understand science concepts material changes in form. Class V objects at SD Negeri 160 Palembang can be categorized as good. Based on the results of interviews and observations, students seem to understand science learning, especially the material on changes in the shape of objects. Apart from that, observations of teacher test results showed that the average student score reached 74.6. This proves that the results of interviews, observations and documentation carried out by researchers show that students' memory is good.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) Maintain Pocket Book Design based on Augmented Reality (AR) Developed on Plant Body Part Materials and Its Functions in IPA Lectures (2 Knowledge of the Applicability of Pocket Books Learning Media based on augmented reality) As the Learning Media for Plant Body Body Parts and its Functions on IPA Lektures (3 Knowing the Improvement of Student Digital Literacy on Body Part Matters and Functions After Using the Augmenced Reality Based Book Pocket Media (AR). In this study using Research and Development Methods (Research and Development) Data sources in this study consist of primary data obtained from the research environment, namely SDN Modangan 05 Districts Nglegok, with research subjects totaling 24 students of class IV, consisting of 19 male students and 5 female students. Research results show that 1) The development of media pocket book based on augmented reality material parts of the plant body and its function is carried out through the stages of define, design, development, and disseminate. The phase involves observation, validation by media and material experts, as well as field trials with students of Class IV SDN Modangan 05. 2) The product validation results showed a score of 66, which after being processed in the presentation formula was 97%. The scores show that the augmented reality based media pocket book is valid and suitable for use in learning activities. Analysis of digital literacy improvement data using augmented reality-based pocket book media showed a comparison of 0.6830 between pre-angket and post-angkat. Based on the N-Gain level criteria, this study falls into the middle category

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of determining the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the development of powtoon-based learning media for the proclamation of independence material for fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Kayuagung. In this development research, the researcher used the ADDIE development model consisting of analysis, design, development, and implementation. The results of the validity obtained by the researcher in the validation activity of powtoon-based learning media, obtained from the three experts, namely media experts, material experts, and language experts, the researcher got a percentage value of 89.67%, including the valid criteria. The practicality of the media based on the results of the student response questionnaire from individual tests (one to one), small group media tests, and field tests got an average value of 88.1%, including the very practical criteria. And the level of media effectiveness based on student learning outcome tests got an average value of 81.87%, including the very good category. Thus, it can be concluded that the development of powtoon-based learning media is declared valid and can be used in further learning activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop flipbook-based digital modules for science learning on earth and the universe material for fourth grade elementary school students that are valid and practical and to find out the potential effects of using the fourth grade IPS SD digital module on student learning outcomes. The type of research used in this research is the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model. Questionnaire data collection techniques, tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques were carried out to obtain flipbook-based digital modules according to the criteria of validity, practicality, and potential effects. After obtaining the data. The research results obtained flipbook-based digital modules which were stated to be very valid or feasible, the development of flipbook-based digital modules was declared valid, based on the results of the validity assessment according to media experts with an average score of 3.9 percentage 78.2%, linguists with an average score of an average of 4 percentages of 80% and material experts of getting an average score of 4.4 percentages of 86%. The development of a flipbook-based digital module was declared practical based on the results of the practicality assessment according to the student response questionnaire getting an average score of 4.7 with a percentage of 91.9%. The development of flipbook-based digital modules has a potential effect on students, based on the results of the evaluation of student evaluation results, a total average score of 8.5 is obtained with a percentage of 85%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a significant influence on the learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN 1 Benawa who learn using the talking sticker learning model assisted by attractive smart wheel learning media. This study uses an experimental method, namely the Quasi Experimental design method used nonequivalent control group design, This type of research is quantitative with a research sample consisting of 2 classes, namely the experimental class and the control class totaling 42 students. while the population is sampled using a total sampling technique, namely a sampling technique when all members of the population are used as samples. The sample in this study was class IV A as a control class with 22 students and IVB as an experimental class with 20 students. Data collection techniques were tests and documentation. The results of the data analysis calculation obtained an average value of the experimental class of 78.50 while the average value of the control class was 61.82, The results of the hypothesis test obtained a t count of 4.209 while the t table was .684 with a sig value of 0.000 so that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, it can be concluded that the talking stick learning model assisted by attractive smart wheel learning media has a significant effect on student learning outcomes in social studies material at SDN 1 Benawa.

Abstract

Technology that becomes more advanced has an impact on the field of education where books are no longer needed. Anyone can access information through a device. Information is obtained through reading literacy skills. Facts show that there are still some students who are not fluent in their ability to read. Literacy skills are difficult to achieve if the students do not yet have good skills in reading as it is a basic step in human life. This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative research methods which explained the topic of the problem in detail. It applied observation, interview, and documentation techniques that produced triangulation data, which were analyzed using triangulation and Miles’ method. The results showed that adult participation in the reading skills of slow-reading students had a very positive impact, where the students who were still confused to read letters in the first place, finally be able to read word for word to a composed sentence. Adult participation in slow-reading students also improves interest and motivation in the learning process

Abstract

The development of digital teaching materials is currently very necessary in the world of education because elementary school students are surrounded by technology, even developing together with technology and local wisdom. Elementary school students who are in the concrete thinking range, in addition to requiring learning with concrete media, also need teaching materials to satisfy their curiosity and reduce boredom in learning. This study aims to produce a valid and practical digital teaching material product based on local wisdom on the material of heat and its transfer for class V of SD Negeri 04 Rantau Alai. This study uses the Research and Development research method using the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The results of this study obtained a score for an average media expert of 83% with the criteria "Very Valid", an average score for material experts of 88% with the criteria "Very Valid" Recapitulation of validation results of 85.5. Meanwhile, the results of the practicality of the product by 3 students and small groups obtained an average score of 86.55% with the criteria of "Very Practical" so that digital teaching materials based on the Material of Heat and Its Transfer Based on Local Wisdom are valid and practical for use in the learning process.

Abstract

The development of science and the use of technology in learning encourage history learning to be able to adapt to the progress of education in the 21st century.  This study aims to determine the effect of learning readiness on critical thinking skills in students in schools under the guidance of the Integrated Islamic School Network (JSIT) in the Lampung province area. This study is a quantitative research with an Ex Post Facto Approach with a research sample of 194 students from all integrated Islamic schools in Lampung Province totaling six schools. The data in this study was collected through observation, interviews and the distribution of a questionnaire of 20 questions with the Likert Scale. The validity and reliability testing of the questionnaire was carried out by the Pearson Product Moment Correlation Test, the Cronbach' Alpha Test (α) and the assessment of instrument experts. The hypothesis test of this study was carried out using a Simple Linear Regression Test. The results in this study are at a significant level showing a value of 0.000 < 0.05, so it can be said that there is a positive and significant influence of Learning Readiness on students at the Integrated Islamic Network School in Lampung Province on Critical Thinking Ability by 21.5%. The test results show that the magnitude of the correlation value (R) is 0.462 in the output of the coefficient shows a constant value (a) of 23.256 and the Regression Coefficient value (b) is 0.430 so that it can be known that the regression equation is Y= 23.256 + 0.430X.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the desire to expand students' knowledge through learning media in the form of animated videos that utilize the cultural context of Betawi traditional houses, with the hope of providing a visual experience of both mathematics and the cultural aspects of traditional houses. The objective of this research is to develop animated videos using the Betawi traditional house context, specifically covering the properties of plane figures, such as squares, rectangles, trapezoids, and triangles, to determine the validity of the developed animated video media and to measure students' understanding after using the animated video media. The research method employed is Research and Development (R&D) using the 4D model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The results of media expert validation from both validators obtained an average percentage of 95.8%, which falls under the "very feasible" criteria. The validation from subject matter experts received an average percentage of 82.3%, also considered "very feasible." Language learning expert validation received an average percentage of 83%, meeting the "very feasible" criteria. The overall average percentage from all validators was 87%, indicating "very feasible" validation. Empirically, the average N-gain between pretests and posttests was 0.47, categorizing as "moderate." In conclusion, animated videos can be used in mathematics education as they are considered suitable for enhancing students' understanding of mathematical concepts and can facilitate their learning process.
