Abstract

The Covid-19 explosion has changed all activities, including the learning process. The existence this pandemic makes all sectors try to find the best solution. This needs to be done so that all systems are well maintained. One solution during the pandemic is learning activities with online activities. Online learning without face to face certainly raises some problems. New activities make teachers and students must adapt to new learning conditions. In addition, various obstacles provide a paradigm that applying online learning is difficult. The difficulty of carrying out online learning is certainly not only felt by student but also teacher feel the same way. However, it is the teacher’s responsibility to address their difficulties and students’ difficulties. To determine an effective solution in overcoming students’ difficulties, further research is needed to determine the aspect that promote students’ difficulties in online learning. Through this survey research, researchers wanted to see how mathematics teacher’s perception about students’ difficulties when participating in online learning. Most teachers’ perceptions indicate that aspects of facilities and infrastructure, learning activities and environment are the main factors which promote students’ difficulties in online learning.Keywords: perception of athematics teacher, students’ difficulties, online learning

Abstract

In industrial businesses, a strategy for optimizing production results is an important thing to consider carefully so that the production process runs as efficiently as possible and the results obtained are feasible and optimal. This also needs to be a consideration for UMKM Rempeyek Ilham which are engaged in the production of peanut brittle. So, the aim of this research is to identify the number of optimal productions at UMKM Rempeyek Ilham so that maximum sales results can be obtained through modeling in the form of a linear program. However, the constraints formed in the linear programming model have sign of ≥, which cannot be resolved using the simplex method. One method that can be used to find a feasible and optimal solution for a linear programming model that has constraints ≥ is the Big M method. Therefore, in this research the Big M method is applied to find a feasible and optimal solution to the linear programming model. This research produces information about the number of optimal productions of peanut brittle with maximum sales of IDR 6,800,000.00. Furthermore, in this research a sensitivity analysis was also carried out to anticipate several possible changes that would occur so that the optimal solution obtained did not change or could even increase.Keywords: Big M method, Linear programming, Optimization, Sensitivity analysis.

Abstract

Mathematics with the nuances of ethnomathematics culture at this time its presence makes a major contribution to the learning of mathematics. This research was conducted to find the elements of mathematics in the building of the grand mosque which is located in Tanjung Pauh Hilir, West Lake Kerinci sub-district, Kerinci district, Jambi province. This study uses a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach. The data used are data obtained from observation, documentation and interviews. The results showed that the mathematical concepts in this mosque building contained geometrical materials such as ellipses, rhombuses, circles, semicircles, squares and rectangles while geometrical materials contained such as octagonal prisms, beams and pyramids and also transformations such as reflections. With the existence of ethnomathematics in this building it is hoped that it will be able to improve mathematical abilities, instill local wisdom values and also through observing mosque buildings in being able to explain that cultural elements can be used in learning mathematics.Keywords: Ethnomathematics, Building, Tanjung Pauh Grand Mosque.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa tunagrahita melalui penggunaan alat hitung Sipoa di SLB-C Dharma Mulia Semarang pada tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan tiga siswa kelas 3 SLB-C Dharma Mulia Semarang tahun ajaran 2021/2022 yang memiliki skor matematika kurang dari enam. Penelitian dilakukan selama semester 1, mulai dari Oktober hingga Desember 2021, dengan menggunakan model desain alur dari Kemmis dan Taggart yang melibatkan dua siklus tindakan. Langkah-langkah penelitian mencakup perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan, refleksi, dan perencanaan ulang, yang menjadi dasar untuk tindakan perbaikan berikutnya hingga mencapai hasil yang lebih baik. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes dan dokumen, dan dianalisis menggunakan model analisis alur. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan alat hitung Sipoa dalam pembelajaran matematika mampu meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa kelas III SLB-C Dharma Mulia Semarang tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Selain itu, penggunaan alat hitung ini juga meningkatkan keterlibatan dan motivasi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran, mempermudah pemahaman materi ajar, dan memudahkan guru dalam penyampaian materi pembelajaran.Kata kunci: alat hitung sipoa, prestasi belajar, siswa kelas III SLB-C Dharma Mulia Semarang.

Abstract

Diseases in corn plants are a major factor contributing to suboptimal corn production and can even lead to crop failure. Common diseases in corn include downy mildew and leaf blight. Downy mildew in corn is characterized by symptoms such as khorotil-colored streaks running parallel to the leaf veins, white spots, inhibited growth, and rolled leaves. These symptoms prevent optimal corn growth and may result in total crop failure. This research focuses on developing an expert system to diagnose corn diseases using the Certainty Factor (CF) method. The CF method is designed to provide a degree of certainty in diagnosis or analysis based on symptoms or evidence, especially in situations with limited absolute certainty. The system developed in this study achieves an accuracy rate of 68.74% for diagnosing leaf blight in corn.Keywords: expert system, CF, corn crop disease, downy mildew, leaf blight.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini ditulis dengan maksud membangun kesadaran siswa terhadap metode belajar matematika menggunakan konten digital. Artikel ini disusun berdasarkan penilaian penulis tentang seiring dengan gerakan perkembangan teknologi yang canggih. Salah satu hasil kemajuan teknologi dan pengetahuan di era saat ini adalah YouTube. Penelitian tersebut menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yaitu salah satu metode penelitian yang bertujuan untuk memahami perilaku manusia dalam menginterpretasikan sudut pandangnya tehadap dunianya. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah konten edukasi matematika di saluran YouTube Jerome Polin, sedangkan subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas XI pada salah satu madrasah di Kudus dengan menggunakan sumber data wawancara. Artikel ini membahas mengenai pembelajaran matematika menggunakan konten digital dengan menonton video matematika di saluran YouTube Jerome Polin, salah satunya adalah video Battle Matematika yang dapat mempengaruhi motivasi belajar matematika siswa sehingga menimbulkan adanya respon positif. Berdasarkan hasil respon siswa terhadap konten edukasi matematika di YouTube Jerome Polin didapatkan hasil yakni adanya video matematika Jerome Polin ini memberikan kontribusi yang baik dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa sehingga hal ini menunjukkan adanya respon positif dan menjadikannya sebagai inspirasi dan motivasi belajar. Keberhasilan pembelajaran matematika dengan konten ditunjukkan apabila respon siswa positif tentang pembelajaran matematika menggunakan konten media digital tersebut. Konten digital dinilai cocok untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran matematika siswa kelas XI. Oleh karena itu, belajar matematika menggunakan konten penting bagi siswa dalam menghadapi revolusi industri 4.0.

Abstract

Memprediksi atau meramalkan perilaku observasi biasanya menggunakan pemodelan time series yang dilakukan secara berurutan. Prediksi jumlah produksi padi diharapkan dapat memberikan masukan bagi pemerintah dan dimanfaatkan oleh siapa saja sebagai pengembangan pada sektor pertanian serta sebagai bahan ajar penggunaan metode ARIMA (Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average) dan ARIMAX (Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average with Exogenous Variable). Tujuan dari penelitian ini sebagai perbandingan dalam menemukan model terbaik dari metode ARIMA dan ARIMAX untuk memprediksi jumlah produksi padi pada tahun 2023 di kota Magelang. Data yang digunakan merupakan data produksi padi dan luas lahan tanam sebagai variabel eksogen di Kota Magelang pada bulan Januari 2019 sampai Desember 2022. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diperoleh model ARIMA terbaik untuk meramalkan jumlah produksi padi di kota Malang adalah ARIMA (0,1,1), sedangnkan model ARIMAX terbaik adalah ARIMAX (0,0,1). Perbandingan kedua model tersebut berdasarkan nilai MAPE, model ARIMAX (0,0,1) menjadi model terbaik untuk meramalkan jumlah produksi padi di Kota Malang karena menghasilkan MAPE terkecil 6,31%. Hasil peramalan menggunakan model ARIMAX (0,0,1) menunjukkan data cenderung mengalami pola trend turun. Hal ini dikarenakan lahan pertanian yang semakin sempit setiap tahunnya sehingga menyebabkan jumlah produksinya semakin menurun.Kata Kunci: Pemodelan, metode ARIMA, metode ARIMAX, Produksi Padi.

Abstract

Perdagangan secara umum dikelompokkan menjadi dua yaitu, ekspor dan impor. Salah satu contoh perdagangan tersebut adalah minyak mentah. Diketahui saat ini harga pasar minyak mentah dunia mempengaruhi tingkat perekonomian global. Harga minyak yang terus berubah, tentu saja menjadi sumber kekhawatiran dan perhatian tersendiri, terutama dalam industri minyak. Dalam penelitian ini, akan mengkaji harga minyak mentah menggunakan model ARIMAX (Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average with Exogenous Variables). Model ARIMAX dipilih karena mampu mengintegrasikan variabel eksternal, seperti volume nilai tukar rupiah dan produksi minyak, yang mempengaruhi harga minyak mentah. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan model prediktif yang akurat dengan mempertimbangkan pengaruh produksi minyak (Richard et al., 2021)dan nilai tukar rupiah terhadap harga minyak mentah dunia. Berdasarkan hasil analisis model ARIMAX (0,1,2) merupakan model terbaik dalam meramalkan harga minyak mentah dunia karena memiliki nilai AIC dan MAPE terkecil, yaitu AIC sebesar 408,49 dan MAPE 8,88. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut peramalan dengan model model ARIMAX (0,1,2) dapat dikategorikan sangat baik.Kata Kunci: ARIMAX, Perekonomian, Harga minyak mentah dunia, Nilai tukar rupiah, Produksi minyak.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of developing the SETREASURE learning media that has been developed and to determine the students' responses to the SETREASURE learning media. SETREASURE is aimed at seventh grade students, especially on set material. This research was conducted using the Research and Development method with the ADDIE development procedure (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) using the Construct2 application and the web2apk. The data collection technique used a validation questionnaire in material validation sheets, media validation sheets, and student response questionnaires. The developed learning media application is equipped with material especially on in seventh grade. The feature of application, such as  explanations, videos, sample questions, practice questions, and game score results.The data analysis technique in the form of an assessment score was carried out quantitatively.  Based on the validation results of the learning media, SETREASURE is very feasible with a score of 83.33% on the material aspect and 81.67% on the media aspect with a note of slight improvement, as well as the results of the student response questionnaire were given a percentage of 83.21%. Students also gave a positive response to the SETREASURE learning media so that it can be stated that this learning media is very interesting for students.Keywords: Construct2, Learning Game, Mathematics Learning Media, Sets

Abstract

Binary logistic regression model is a regression model used to predict the probability of a specific event occurring or not occurring based on predictor variable. In this model, the response variable is binary, meaning it has only two possible categories: a “failure”category and a “success” category. West Papua is included in the list of  seven provinces that are the main focus of efforts to combat extreme poverty. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor the factors that need to be considered in order to prevent an increase in the poverty rate. To identify the factors influencing the poverty rate in Papua Barat, the research method used is binary logistic regression modeling, which assesses the influence of independent variables on the poverty rate in West Papua. So the results obtained from this study are from three variables, namely the open unemployment rate, average per capita expenditure, and gross regional domestic product have a significant effect on the poverty rate in West Papua with a classification accuracy of 100%.
