Abstract

The purpose of Community Service (PKM) is to find out how much the application of management in the development of marine products that have an impact on the welfare of local communities. The measurement method uses three approaches including (1) phenomenalogical research method where qualitative methods can be interpreted as a method based on the philosophy of postpositivism used in object conditions, where the researcher as a key instrument, data collection techniques are carried out by triangulation (combined) the results of the analysis is inductive which is to suppress the meaning of Creswell 2009 generalization (in his book Sugiyono 2017: 24), (2) The grounded theory method of this research is a type of qualitative method, in which the researcher draws on the generalization observed inductively, (3) Ethnography Method is Qualitative Strategy menrurut (Crewell 2209) states one type of qualitative research is that researchers conduct group culture studies through interview observation. The results of observations and interviews and training on community service are very potential fisheries subsector commodities, from the high demand for sustainable fish supply. Results of assistance to management in the development of marine fish culture management (sea farming) to increase community income in the Thousand Islands, Jakarta, Development of results need to be formed cooperatives or business units, in an effort to increase community income in the thousand islands.

Abstract

Coastal land is an important asset that must be maintained and utilized by its function. Efforts that can be made to improve and enhance the fertility of coastal land can be done by applying technology and having sufficient knowledge. lack of community understanding related to the legal aspects of managing coastal laha so that the impact of inhibition of innovations that can help the economy of the local community, therefore it is necessary to understand these legal restrictions to the local community as well as a variety of innovative inputs to utilize land for industrial development. This guidance is given to all the people in Kelurahan Untung Jawa Island as additional information regarding the use of coastal land based on legal aspects and industrial development. This activity is expected to increase community knowledge and insights regarding the law of coastal land management and also increase innovation to improve home industries that are able to provide additional income for the local community. The method used in this community service is counseling on legal awareness of the community relating to the limits of the authority of the beach that can be used as well as training on utilization related to production innovation. With this activity, each community is required to know the management of coastal land and understand how to enhance the development of the tourism industry that can be done by innovating the utilization and management of coastal land.

Abstract

This community service is titled “Establishing Excellent Education Insitituion”. The purpose of this community service, that was carried out at Ini Media Kita Foundation, in Gunung Sindur, Bogor aims to find out how to establish an excellent education institution. The methods used are survey method, lectures, social services, simulations and also discussions with all teachers and educators at this foundation. The conclusion of this community service was by giving motivation to all teachers and educators in order to unite them in establishing excellent education institution by generating successful students who excel and mastering in science, technology and also religiously. The teachers and educators are given knowledge how to establish an excellent education institution with various kinds of school development.

Abstract

This community service aims to foster entrepreneurship spirit the pandemic situation in PKK Kel. Cipinang Melayu group. As the things Issues raised how to start a business with good managemen. The method used in the implementation of this service is carried out in several activities, namely (a). The Preparation Phase includes: (1). Initial survey (2) Consolidation and determination of target locations, (3). Preparation to sosialitations of materials / materials. The results of this activity can later be beneficial for to PKK Kel. Cipinang Melayu group, in starting entrepreneurship with a good mangement approach in a pandemic situation.

Abstract

This Community Service aims to introduce taxes to the MSMEs in the Kelurahan Cipinang Baru. Issues raised regarding taxation for MSMEs. Methods The implementation method of this service is carried out in several activities, namely (a). The Preparation Phase includes: (1). Initial survey (2) Consolidation and determination of target locations, (3). Preparation of training materials / materials. The results of this activity are very useful for MSMEs in the Kelurahan Cipinang Baru to add insight and knowledge about MSME taxes.

Abstract

The program of community service activities is one of the tasks carried out by lecturers in carrying out the Tri Darma Perguruan Tinggi. The partner in this program is Media Kita Foundation. The main problem faced by partners is the lack of awareness in maintaining the cleanliness of the environment around the school. In this case, especially in the education environment, cleanliness is an inseparable part of the education program itself. A clean environment will certainly give students comfort in learning and of course student health will also be maintained. For this reason, it is necessary to provide counseling on the procedures for a healthy lifestyle where the ultimate goal is to create an awareness that the importance of a healthy lifestyle is consistently applied. This of course requires the involvement of all parties both students, teachers, the surrounding community. In implementing a healthy lifestyle or better known as the healthy living community movement it is expected that health is more maintained, student activities are more productive, the environment is clean and of course will be spared from various unwanted diseases.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have an important and strategic role in national economic development. Besides playing a role in economic growth, it also plays a role in employment. Based on data from the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises in 2018 the number of MSMEs in Indonesia is 64,194,057, while the absorption of MSME workers is 116,978,631. The number of MSMEs in South Tangerang City according to the Office of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises in South Tangerang City is 26,700. Covid-19 began to hit Indonesia in February 2020. Covid-19 was not just a health disaster, it also caused chaos in the economic sector, not only large industries that were exposed, it also included MSMEs in Indonesia. Efforts should be made to help MSMEs to recover and increase their business activities so that productivity and turnover will gradually increase again. To that end, the Community Service Team (PKM) of the Industrial Engineering Study Program of the University of Pamulang (UNPAM) consisting of Lecturers and Students helps MSMEs principals especially in Serpong Village, Setu District, South Tangerang City. In carrying out its business, SMEs are expected to implement seven tips for success in business and must be able to see opportunities and challenges going forward besides the need to understand the tin main problem in the business.

Abstract

Literasi kuantitatif merupakan kemampuan bernalar dalam mengelola informasi berbentuk angka dan statistik dalam berbagai hal. Kemampuan tersebut sangat dibutuhkan dalam kehidupan terlebih di era digital 4.0 ini. Namun demikian, matematika yang merupakan wadah dari literasi kuantitatif justru realitanya banyak menghadapi masalah. Berdasarkan analisis situasi di SD Negeri Bogosari 1 dapat diketahui bahwa siswa hanya menguasai soal-soal bersifat rutin dan sederhana. Mereka belum mampu menyelesaikan soal-soal bertipe High Order Thinking skills (HOTS) seperti soal yang penyelesaiannya membutuhkan kemampuan memecahkan masalah. Atas dasar itu dilakukanlah Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) dengan tujuan memberikan pengetahuan cara penyelesaian butir soal berjenis HOTS seperti butir soal literasi kuantitatif. Selanjutnya, PKM ini dilaksanakan pada 11 – 13 Maret 2020 dengan subyek siswa kelas V di SD Negeri Bogosari 1. Adapun metode pelaksanaan PKM ini menggunakan metode ceramah dan diskusi yang terkemas melalui pendekatan Polya. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan butir soal literasi kuantitatif meningkat, tercermin dengan adanya peningkatan kemampuan literasi kuantitatif dari 54,13 menjadi 73,87 atau naik sebesar 19,73.

Abstract

The purpose of this project is to give an English training for Jampang English Village (JEV) students while participating in English competition. The object of this project is the students of JEV Bogor. Total physical response (TPR) is using in this method through giving the strategies; how they correctly use their body language when facing English competition and how to interact with the audience while standing in front of the stage. At the end of the activities, the contestants comprehend the techniques of English training related to poetry, short story, and speech.

Abstract

Partners in this program are the Foundation of Our Media. The main problem faced by partners is the teaching staff of households and not from education. As is well known, In the formation of quality resources, the existence of education is a major factor that must get serious attention from all parties. Changes in education also have an impact on the way of thinking of the Indonesian people. Therefore given the strengthening of teacher human resources at the Foundation Media Kita aims to change the institutions that operate it into a team that is sincere, without conflict and internal competition, to achieve a single goal, which is to satisfy customers. 2 (two) types, i.e. 1). internal customers namely school managers such as teachers, librarians, laboratory assistants, technicians and administrative staff; 1) external customers which are divided into: (a) primary customers, namely students. 2) secondary customers, parents, government and sponsors; (b) primier customers such as universities and the world of work who receive graduates of the Foundation.
