Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine how the concept of akhlak education the perspective of Imam al-Ghazali and Buya Hamka is related to educators and methods in akhlak education. In this study, the type of library research is collecting data or scientic papers that aim to have research objects or data collection that is library-based or studies carried out to solve a problem that is basically based on critical and in-depth studies of in-depth library materials. The data sources used are primary data sources and secondary data sources. The data analysis technique in this study indicates that those who must be responsible for akhlak education according to Buya Hamka: Parents, Teachers and Society, for the method of moral education according to Hamka, namely, al-hikmah, al-mau’izah hasanah, jadilhum billati hiya ahsan. While and educator in akhlak education according to Imam al-Ghazali should have a personality that can reflect religious teachings. According to Imam al-Ghazali, akhlak education methods include the method of role modeling, habituation, advice, attention and punishment.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of entrepreneurship education, family background, and gender on students interest in entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Economics, Medan State University. The population in this study were all students from the Unimed Faculty of Economics class of 2017, totaling 621 students. The sample in this study was 93 students taken using proportional random sampling technique. The dependent variable in this research is interest in entrepreneurship (Y), while the independent variables include entrepreneurship education (X1), family background (X2), and gender (X3). The data collection method uses a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques use multiple linear regression, F test, t test, and coefficient of determination (R-square). The results of this research show that there is a positive and significant influence of the variables of entrepreneurship education, family background, and gender on the entrepreneurial interest of Unimed Faculty of Economics students. Based on the results of the coefficient of determination test, the percentage of independent variables on the dependent variable, namely entrepreneurship education, family background and gender on interest in entrepreneurship, was 54.3%.

Abstract

This  study  explores  students’  perceptions  and  challenges  in  the implementation of English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI) at SMP Cahaya Bangsa Metro, Indonesia. EMI is increasingly adopted in non- English-speaking countries to prepare students for global academic and professional opportunities. The research utilized a descriptive method with purposive sampling, involving 11 eighth-grade students who had one year of EMI experience. Data were collected through classroom observation, semi-structure interviews, and documentation. Findings show that while students recognize the benefits of EMI, such as improved language proficiency and future opportunities abroad, they also face significant challenges. These challenges include difficulties with academic vocabulary, understanding technical terms, and adapting to teacher accents, particulary in subjects like science and math. Additionally, students prefer a mixed-language approach to enhance comprehension. The study higlights the need for tailored language support, clearer instructional strategies, and teacher training to address these challenges. By addressing these issues, educational institutions can create a more inclusive and effective learning environment for EMI students.

Abstract

The development of games for verbal bullying cases is important as education for school adolescents. The system is carried out by integrating game elements to increase the Usability of school adolescents. This study aims to simulate and understand cases of verbal bullying among school adolescents through the development of game systems and then testing the effectiveness of the game using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method. The game system is carried out by integrating game elements to increase the motivation and involvement of school adolescents in the learning process. With the system developed using the ADDIE model can help the process to completion through 5 stages. The results of the implementation were tested using the SUS method to measure usability and functionality. The average test score using the SUS method reached 83.75. This score indicates that the majority of users feel that the system has good usability and is sufficient in supporting their gaming experience. The distribution of these scores gives a clear picture of how the system was received by the users and shows that the system as a whole has a high level of usability. Hence the conclusion that the game created for verbal bullying was successful.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the influence of Motivation and Work Environment on Teacher Performance in Vocational High Schools in Bogor Regency. The research method used is a quantitative method using questionnaires as a data collection tool. The population in this study consists of teachers teaching at SMK Prima Mulia and SMK An-Nur Klapanunggal. The sample number was 50 respondents, using a non-probability sampling research technique, namely saturated sampling. The results of the data analysis stated that there was an influence of motivation and work environment influence teacher performance in Vocational High Schools in Bogor Regency

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) To find out the content of tawadhu' value in pai learning at SMPN 3 Cepiring Kab. Kendal.. (2) To know the internalization process of Tawadhu' value in PAI lessons at SMPN 3 Cepiring Kab. Kendal. (3) . To find out the impact of internalization of tawadhu value in PAI learning on moderation attitude in religion at SMPN 3 Cepiring Kab. Kendal. This type of research uses qualitative research, with the validity of observation data and triangulate data wherein the practice of research is crossed using interview guidelines. Based on the results of research that has been conducted at SMPN 3 Cepiring Kab. Kendal with the title "Internalization of Tawadhu Value' in PAI Learning And Its Implications on Moderate Attitudes in Religion in SMPN 3 Cepiring Kab. Kendal ", Researchers can conclude that Curriculum content that refers to tawadhu' values is expected to be useful as a learning tool to apply tawadhu' attitude in speaking to teachers and others older than him. The content of tawadhu value in the study of Islamic religious education there is already a value tawadhu'. Therefore, the thing that needs to be done by educators or educators involved in it is to apply to students to always respect the father of the teacher, have a manners attitude to friends. And get used to being tawadhu' to everyone older than him.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of project-based learning (PBL) method on the understanding of geometry concepts in secondary school students. The main focus of the research is to understand how the application of PBL can help students overcome difficulties in understanding abstract geometry concepts, while improving critical thinking and collaboration skills. This research uses the literature study method by reviewing various scientific journals, books, and relevant articles that discuss the effectiveness of PBL in teaching geometry. This research method involves collecting, analysing, and synthesising previous research results to identify trends, successes, and challenges in the implementation of PBL. The results show that PBL is able to create a more interactive and contextualised learning environment, which allows students to connect geometry theory with practical applications through projects such as geometric model making, building design, or analysis of geometric shapes in everyday life. PBL is an effective method to improve the understanding of geometry concepts in secondary school students. This approach not only enriches students' learning experience but also helps them develop 21st century skills, such as problem solving and teamwork. The implications of this study underline the importance of training for educators as well as the provision of supporting facilities to maximise the potential of PBL in teaching geometry.

Abstract

Teachers are professional educators who have the main task of educating, guiding, teaching, directing, training, assessing, and providing evaluations to students in early childhood education. Learning strategies are a series of activities in which these activities use methods and utilization of resources that have been arranged so that the planned learning objectives can be realized. This study is about the Strategy of Aqidah Akhlak Teachers in Forming the Character of Students at MTs Ma'arif 02 Kota Gajah, Central Lampung. The purpose of this study is to determine the Strategy of Aqidah Akhlak Teachers in Forming the Character of Students at MTs Ma'arif 02 Kota Gajah, Central Lampung. This study is a study that uses a descriptive approach with a type of qualitative field research. The sources of this study are aqidah akhlak teachers, principals of madrasahs, and class 8 students of MTs Ma'arif 02 Kota Gajah. The data collection methods used are interview techniques, observation and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by collecting data, conducting analysis and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that the Akidah Akhlak Teacher's Strategy in Forming Student Characters included teachers forming self-awareness in students about the importance of having character, teachers getting students used to independent learning, teachers providing motivation and direction to students to compete healthily and have self-confidence, teachers providing examples and examples of these characters both in and outside the classroom. In the learning process, the Akidah Akhlak Teacher uses expository learning strategies, affective learning strategies and cooperative learning strategies. The purpose of these three strategies is for students to have good character or noble morals.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the strategic management of madrasa heads in improving the professional competence of teachers at MAN 1 Pringsewu. Teachers' professional competence supports the success of the educational process, especially in meeting national education standards. This research approach uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that the madrasa head at MAN 1 Pringsewu implements three main strategies: (1) planning training and development programs, (2) implementing routine academic supervision, and (3) building a collaborative work culture among teachers. This strategy is effective in increasing teacher competency, as proven by increasing student achievement and learning quality.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of madrasa head management in developing teacher performance and student achievement at MA Hidayatul Mubtadiin. Madrasah heads have a strategic role in creating a conducive learning environment and supporting improving the quality of education. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation, then analyzed descriptively. The research results show that madrasa heads implement several strategies, such as professional development of teachers, empowering the management team, managing learning programs, and strengthening religious culture in madrasas. The implementation of effective management has been proven to increase teacher motivation and performance, which ultimately contributes to student academic and non-academic achievements. This study recommends the importance of leadership training for madrasa heads to increase competence in managing educational resources optimally
