Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of Islamic religious education in shaping the character of students at SMP Makarti Mandiri Sungai Nibung. This study is a qualitative study with the research subjects being the principal, Islamic Religious Education teachers and grade VIII students of SMP Makarti Mandiri Sungai Nibung. Data analysis in this study is data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions using an inductive thinking pattern. Education should not only transfer knowledge and science. Education must be able to make students have more knowledge and good morals. If education is limited to cognitive changes that result in not knowing to knowing, then what will happen in everyday life is that students are smart without being balanced with good morals. For this reason, character education should be instilled in education so that students are smart in knowledge and also smart in morals and ethics. So that students are able to practice character education in everyday life. Based on the results of the discussion above on how the implementation of Islamic Religious Education in forming character in students of Makarti Mandiri Sungai Nibung Middle School, it can be concluded that the methods of forming character in students of Makarti Mandiri Sungai Nibung Middle School include: Exemplary Method (al-Uswah al-Hasanah), Habituation Method (Ta'widiyyah), Mau'izhah and Advice Method, Qashash Method (Story), Amtsal Method (Parable) and Tsawab Method (Reward) and 'Iqab (Punishment).

Abstract

The objectives to be achieved in this research are: 1) Analyze the influence of transactional leadership on performance; 2) Analyze the influence of the reward system on employee performance; 3) Analyze the influence of the work environment on employee performance; 4) Analyze the influence of transactional leadership, reward systems and work environment on employee performance. The sample taken was determined to be 63 people. Collecting data in this research is taking samples using a questionnaire by distributing questionnaires to respondents. Based on the results of research analysis and discussion on the influence of transactional leadership style, reward systems and work environment on the performance of District Regional Hospital employees. Wakatobi, the following conclusions were obtained: 1) Transactional leadership has no significant effect on employee performance. The application of leadership that focuses attention on interpersonal transactions between leaders and subordinates which involves the relationship between the two can improve the performance of District Hospital employees. Wakatobi; 2) The reward system has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This fact shows that the rewards received by employees, both in financial and non-financial forms, are able togood rewards consisting of bonuses/incentives, overtime pay and social assistance are able to improve the performance of District Hospital employees. Wakatobi; 4) The work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on problem-solving ability and science learning outcomes of students at SMP Negeri 1 Adiluwih. This study used an experimental method with a nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The sample of the study was grade VIII students consisting of an experimental class with the application of the PBL model and a control class with conventional learning methods. Data collection techniques were carried out through essay tests to measure problem-solving ability and cognitive learning outcomes. The data obtained were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA) tests to determine the significance of the influence of the learning model. The results showed that the PBL model had a significant effect on problem-solving ability and student learning outcomes. The average posttest score and the difference between the pretest and posttest in the experimental class were higher than the control class. In terms of problem-solving ability, students taught with the PBL model showed significant improvement, as seen from the higher average posttest score and the results of the covariance analysis correction that supported the superiority of the PBL model. Likewise, the cognitive learning outcomes of students in the experimental class showed significant improvement compared to the control class. The conclusion of this study is that the PBL model is effective in improving students' problem-solving skills and science learning outcomes. This model is able to encourage students to think critically, creatively, and actively in the learning process. The results of this study recommend the widespread application of the PBL model to improve the quality of science learning in secondary schools.

Abstract

This article discusses the types and styles of leadership in the perspective of Islamic education. Leadership style which is a characteristic of a leader in carrying out the management activity process. As well as the type of leadership that generally describes the general character of leadership in the world and Indonesia. The study in this research is a literature review that relies on data sources in the form of books/scriptures, scientific articles in journals, research results, and print media opinions related to the discussion theme, namely Types and Styles in the Perspective of Islamic Education. The data obtained from various sources are then processed and analyzed objectively and in depth through review activities, grouping, systematization, interpretation and verification of data from reading results from various sources. The results of this study conclude that there are four types of leadership in general, namely autocratic (authoritarian) leadership, democratic leadership, Laissez-Faire leadership and transformational leadership. The author also concludes regarding the Leadership Style that we usually encounter, namely charismatic style, servant style, coaching, and visionary. According to Islam, Management and leadership methods in the field of Islam prioritize justice and can be concluded from an Islamic perspective, namely justice, exemplary, trustworthy, and deliberation.

Abstract

This article discusses job satisfaction from an Islamic education perspective. Job satisfaction is an important aspect in the world of work. The level of employee satisfaction can affect productivity, motivation and employee turnover rates. Job satisfaction is an important factor in every job which is an affective or emotional side. Job satisfaction is basically a psychological aspect that reflects a person's feelings towards his job, he will feel satisfied with the suitability of his abilities, skills and expectations with the job he is facing. This article uses a library research analysis method which relies on data sources in the form of books/books, scientific articles in journals, research results, and print media opinions related to the discussion theme, namely Job Satisfaction in an Islamic Education Perspective. The results of this research show that in carrying out our daily work in order to achieve job satisfaction, we should always synergize feelings of sincerity, patience and gratitude so that in our work we can maximize the potential that exists within us without always looking at the material, self-evaluation and conduciveness of superiors. for those who are incompetent, and others, for them it is not a disaster, but rather a test promised by Allah SWT which will result in increasing the quality (awareness) of faith in work, so that life remains optimistic about moving forward, instead of giving up on circumstances

Abstract

This study aims to prepare and assess the validity of learning media using charts and audio on ablution material in class VII MTs Muslimat NU Palangka Raya. Given the importance of a deep understanding of ablution in the context of religious education, this study applied the Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4D model limited to development. The needs analysis showed that students experienced a dilemma in understanding the material through conventional methods. Therefore, a media chart depicting the steps of ablution visually, accompanied by audio explaining the pillars and procedures of ablution, was designed to improve students' understanding. The validation results from media and material experts showed that this media was very feasible to use, with an average score of 89.5%. The advantages of this media are its attractiveness and interactivity, although there are some factors that need to be improved, such as adding examples and improving content. This research is expected to provide support for improving fiqh learning methods and become a reference for other educators in creating effective learning media. Further development can be done by adding interactive elements and testing the effectiveness of the media in a wider contex

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the musical structure of inflatable music presented at the saur matua ceremony in the Toba Batak community in Medan City. This paper will analyze the elements of the structure of wind music both melody, harmony and rhythm in the context of the ceremony of mate saur matua by using the theory function and structure and also put forward by Alan P. Merriam. The method used is several ways, namely by way of fieldwork consisting of interviews and observations, laboratory work, and literature studies. The musical structure of the inflatable music from the three songs taken has a musical structure: the scales used are pentatonic using five tones, the tone area on average consists of four and five tunings, the basic tone used is the tone F, the number of tones is the most third, the most intervals are 1P and 2M, the melody formula of the three songs is five, six and two forms. The pattern of kadens at the end is to use rising tones while the contours are static, pendulous and descending. All songs use meter four which is filled with rhythm duplex and quadruple. Harmony uses chords I, IV and V with the kadens I and V chord patterns.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the basic concepts of PAI curriculum development. This research focuses on three things: namely the meaning of PAI curriculum development, the objectives of PAI curriculum development, the components of PAI curriculum development, and the stages of PAI curriculum development. This research analyzes the basic concepts of PAI curriculum development. The research method used is qualitative research with a library research approach. The data collection technique used is to choose a topic and search for information from various sources (books, magazines, mass media, etc.). The data obtained were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman method. That is, we collect data, code it to simplify the analysis process, and draw conclusions. The research findings explain that the basic concept of PAI curriculum development is planning activities to create a better PAI curriculum. The objectives of developing the PAI curriculum are based on the national education objectives contained in Article 3 of Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System (UU Sisdiknas). The components of PAI curriculum development are learning objectives, materials, learning methods, learning media, development, assessment or evaluation, and stakeholder involvement. Likewise with the PAI curriculum development orientation, namely, value development orientation, social demands orientation, workforce orientation, student orientation, and science and technology development orientation

Abstract

Education plays a very important role in helping individuals achieve a better quality of life and encouraging creativity. In this case, the existence of adequate educational facilities and qualified teaching staff have a very significant role. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to identify the causal factors and propose solutions to overcome this inequality. This study was conducted using a qualitative approach, employing data collection techniques through literature reviews based on relevant journals. The findings revealed five main factors contributing to educational disparities in Indonesia. First, limited access to schools, particularly in remote areas. Second, insufficient educational facilities. Third, low motivation and poor quality of educators. Fourth, the high cost of education, which burdens household finances. Fifth, the low perception of the importance of education among communities. To reduce these disparities, several solutions are proposed, including optimizing the allocation of the national budget (APBN) to improve education quality, providing professional training for teachers to enhance their competencies, implementing scholarship programs and social work initiatives to develop students' skills, and conducting social awareness campaigns to emphasize the significance of education for younger generations.

Abstract

This study aims to ascertain the application of the drill method in mathematics education, specifically concerning arithmetic operations for second-grade students at MI Munada Sungai Nibung. Observations indicate persistent challenges in mathematics learning, notably the subpar academic outcomes attained by students. A contributing factor is the insufficient innovation from educators in devising engaging and effective teaching methodologies. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, utilising observation, interviews, and documentation for data collection. The findings demonstrate that the implementation of the drill method significantly enhances students' speed and accuracy in solving mathematical problems. The procedural steps integral to the drill method—such as establishing associations, clarifying objectives, motivating students, facilitating repeated practice, applying concepts, conducting evaluations, and implementing follow-ups—effectively support students in mastering arithmetic operations. Furthermore, a conducive learning environment and the incorporation of teaching aids bolster student engagement and confidence. In conclusion, the drill method can effectively enhance students' comprehension and academic performance in mathematics in a manner that is both enjoyable and productive. This study contributes by outlining a more systematic and engaging drill method tailored for elementary school students. The outcomes provide practical guidance for educators aiming to implement the drill method to improve learning results while fostering student motivation and self-assurance.
