Abstract

The village of Santur is located in a tropical climate area with a varied surface relief including flat, hilly, and undulating terrain. The natural landscape in this area presents a potential for moderate to high soil movement, which can lead to land movement. The objective of this research is to map the areas in Santur village that are prone to soil movement. The study utilizes Geographic Information System (GIS) methodology to produce a vulnerability map of soil movement in the research area. Based on the soil movement model developed by Puslittanak in 2004, at least 6 supporting maps are required to generate a soil movement map in the study area, namely regional geological maps, rainfall maps, geomorphological maps, soil type maps, and rock type maps. Therefore, the parameters used in this research include soil type, rock type, land slope, geological formation, land use, and rainfall. All these parameters undergo weighting using map overlay techniques. The research findings indicate that areas in Santur village predominantly exhibit landslide threats, with very high vulnerability on the northern side around mining areas, as well as several other high-risk points within the research area and moderate vulnerability mostly spread across Santur village. Consequently, the mapping results of landslide-prone areas in Santur village can serve as a reference for the government in urban and regional planning for the city of Sawahlunto. Desa Santur merupakan daerah beriklim tropis dan memiliki relief permukaan datar, berbukit, dan bergelombang. Bentangan alam yang ada di daerah ini mempunyai potensi gerakan tanah yang sedang hingga tinggi sehingga bisa menyebabkan terjadinya pergerakan tanah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk memetakan daerah di desa Santur yang rawan terhadap pergerakan tanah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) untuk mendapatkan peta kerentanan pergerakan tanah di daerah penelitian. Berdasarkan model pergerakan tanah yang dikembangkan oleh Puslittanak pada Tahun 2004, dibutuhkan setidaknya 6 peta pendukung untuk menghasilkan peta pergerakan tanah di sekitar wilayah penelitian yaitu, peta geologi regional, peta curah hujan, peta geomorfologi, peta jenis tanah, dan peta jenis batuan. Sehingga, parameter yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis tanah, jenis batuan, kemiringan lahan, formasi geologi, tataguna lahan, dan curah hujan. Semua parameter ini dilakukan pembobotan menggunakan overlay peta. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa daerah di desa Santur dominan memiliki tingkat ancaman longsor dengan kerawanan sangat tinggi pada sisi utara di sekitar daerah penambangan, serta ada beberapa titik lokasi lainnya, kerawanan tinggi dibeberapa lokasi daerah penelitian, dan kerawanan sedang mayoritas yang tersebar di daerah Desa Santur. Dengan demikian, peta hasil pemetaan daerah rawan pergerakan tanah di desa Santur ini dapat menjadi acuan bagi pemerintah untuk pembuatan rencana tata ruang dan wilayah Kota Sawahlunto.

Abstract

UI / UX is essential in designing an application or website due to its impact on the user. With a decent and user-oriented UI/UX, users will experience high conformance and interact easily with the application or website, hence increasing the intensity of product usage and providing a better experience for users. However, the users' requirements are often neglected, making it difficult for the applications or websites to obtain a constant user number. Furthermore, this research aims to create a novel method to design UI/UX for CRM, which aligns with the needs and specifications of users. The data are collected using primary data through direct observation and questionnaires at an IT company called Numazu and its users. These data aim to measure and determine user needs and expectations by the integration of the Design Thinking and Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method. This research contributes to creating innovative and user-relevant UI/UX design methods, especially for CRM systems. The findings of this research also show an improvement in user experience through a user-oriented UI/UX design.

Abstract

The limited production of natural gas fuel derived from fossil sources, coupled with the increasing consumption demands across various household and industrial sectors, necessitates efforts to conserve fuel usage. One of the approaches that can be taken is to enhance fuel efficiency. This study aims to analyze the influence of environmental temperature on fuel consumption and efficiency. In this research, the data used is the date or duration of the measurement, including peak load time, environmental temperature and fuel consumption. The research findings indicate that higher environmental temperatures have an inverse impact on fuel efficiency while having a linear effect on fuel consumption. For instance, at an environmental temperature of 32.8 degrees Celsius, the efficiency reaches 12.04% with a consumption rate of 0.72 KG/H, whereas at a temperature of 36.8 degrees Celsius, efficiency decreases to 8.47% with a fuel consumption of 0.96 KG/H. These findings suggest that environmental temperature can influence fuel usage efficiency, and the relationship between environmental temperature and fuel consumption is linear. This research has significant implications for optimizing fuel usage in the context of changing thermal environments.

Abstract

The Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) is one of several sensors involved in electronic control technology in vehicle engines. This sensor is used to determine the throttle opening angle position. For automotive students, understanding how the TPS works is essential. Thus far, in learning about position angle sensors, the component used as a basis is a variable resistor/potentiometer. This component has limitations in terms of accuracy both in stimulus and sensor output. This research aims to develop a practical demonstration of a position angle sensor. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D). The research successfully created a demonstration of a position angle sensor with a range of rotation angles from 0° to 300°, with an accuracy of 98%. Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) merupakan satu dari beberapa sensor yang terlibat dalam teknologi pengontrolan elektronik pada mesin kendaraan. Sensor ini digunakan untuk mengetahui posisi sudut bukaan throttle. Bagi peserta didik bidang otomotif pemahaman pada cara kerja TPS menjadi salah satu hal penting. Selama ini dalam pembelajaran sensor posisi sudut komponen yang dijadikan dasar adalah variable resistor / potensiometer. Komponen ini memiliki kekurangan dalam hal akurasi baik pada sisi stimulus maupun output sensor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah peraga praktikum sensor posisi sudut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D). Penelitian berhasil mewujudkan peraga sensor posisi dengan range sudut putar 0° hinga 300°. Dengan akurasi sebesar 98%.

Abstract

PT. JKL is a subsidiary of PT SBJ (SKJ Group) which is engaged in the logistics or distribution of goods from the port to the customer's warehouse or from the buffer warehouse to the customer's warehouse. One of the services provided by PT JKL is warehouse management for PT SKJ products, namely Cold Rolled Coil (CRC). This research aims to identify risks and causes of risks in cold rolled coil warehouse management operations, so that it can provide suggestions for handling risks in warehouses. This research uses the failure mode and effect analysis method which can identify effects or impacts that are likely to occur in CRC warehouse management. The use of the FMEA method in this research resulted in 7 indicators and 22 sub-indicators of operational risk at the PT JKL warehouse. Apart from that, there are four critical indicators that need to be prioritized because the RPN value is lower than the critical value (70,7). These indicators are supervision of inbound activities (60,85), facilities management (65,17), relationships with other company entities (65,17), and human resource management (22,36). PT. JKL adalah anak perusahaan PT SBJ (SKJ Group) yang bergerak dalam bidang distribusi barang dari pelabuhan ke gudang pelanggan atau dari gudang penyangga ke gudang pelanggan. Salah satu layanan dari PT JKL adalah pengelolaan gudang pada produk PT SKJ yaitu Cold Rolled Coil (CRC). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi risiko dan penyebab risiko pada operasional pengelolaan gudang CRC. Metode failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) digunakan pada penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi dampak yang berpeluang terjadi pada pengelolaan gudang CRC. Hasilnya didapatkan 7 indikator dan 22 sub indikator risiko operasional pada gudang PT JKL. Selain itu terdapat 4 indikator kritis yang perlu menjadi prioritas dikarenakan nilai RPN yang lebih rendah dari nilai kritis yaitu 70,7. Indikator tersebut yaitu pengawasan kegiatan inbound (60,85), pengelolaan fasilitas (65,17), hubungan dengan entitas perusahaan lainnya (65,17), dan pengelolaan sumber daya manusia (22,36).

Abstract

The imperfections in the ignition system have a significant impact on the power, torque, fuel consumption, and exhaust emissions of the engine. The ignition system in motorcycles has evolved from platinum technology to CDI. Current CDI systems commonly restrict spark ignition at specific revolutions. This study employs experimental methods to compare the CDI Unlimiter BRT Powermax Dual Band with CDI Limiter on motorcycles, focusing on fuel consumption and exhaust emissions. The fuel consumption test results indicate that the CDI Unlimiter is more efficient compared to the CDI Limiter. There is a decrease in emissions (CO), but an increase in emissions (HC) is observed with the CDI Unlimiter. Recommendations for further research could focus on enhancing fuel efficiency without increasing HC emissions. This study has the potential to serve as a foundation for the development of more environmentally friendly motorcycles in the future. Ketidaksempurnaan sistem pengapian berdampak signifikan pada daya, torsi, konsumsi bahan bakar, dan emisi gas buang dari mesin. Sistem pengapian pada sepeda motor berkembang dari teknologi platina ke CDI. CDI yang digunakan saat ini umumnya membatasi percikan api pada putaran tertentu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen untuk membandingkan CDI Unlimiter BRT Powermax Dual Band dengan CDI Limiter pada sepeda motor, fokus pada konsumsi bahan bakar dan emisi gas buang. Hasil uji konsumsi bahan bakar menunjukkan bahwa CDI Unlimiter lebih efisien dibandingkan dengan CDI Limiter. Terdapat penurunan pada emisi (CO), namun terjadi peningkatan emisi (HC) pada CDI Unlimiter. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian lebih lanjut dapat berfokus pada bagaimana meningkatkan efisiensi bahan bakar tanpa meningkatkan emisi HC. Penelitian ini berpotensi menjadi dasar untuk pengembangan sepeda motor yang lebih ramah lingkungan di masa depan.

Abstract

Education is progressing faster than at any other time in history. Educators are becoming increasingly conscious that today's learning media are developing to match future realities. Education must establish new approaches in the learning process by employing virtual classrooms and tools and technology. The virtual classroom concept offers a solution for today's and tomorrow's educational needs. To prepare for future employment, students require a holistic education that combines practical occupational skills, communication methods, and leadership development. This paper will give a bibliometric analysis of the term virtual classroom as a learning media, focusing on future research trends in vocational education. The articles were obtained with the help of the Publish or Perish software and the Scopus database. With a search period spanning 2013 to 2022, 405 articles were evaluated (9 years period). The desktop version of the Mendeley program is used to handle the references. VOS Viewer software was used to classify the articles by generating six clusters. The main keywords from the six groupings are virtual reality, e-learning, teaching, education, augmented reality, and improved classroom instruction.

Abstract

In the current industrial era, Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) is something that needs to be considered. Increasing awareness of OHS in every employee will have a very good impact both in terms of material and non-material. If this is ignored, it will be fatal and of course can cause losses. The accident data totaled 6 times which was calculated from January 2022 to November 2022 with a total of 9 employees. The number of accidents that occurred is still said to be very high with a percentage of 54% of the total workforce. this is not the same as government policies that implement zero accidents in work accidents. on CV. Sumber Rejeki has 9 types of OHS Risk. It is different from the government's policy of implementing zero accidents in OHS. CV. Sumber Rejeki has 9 types of OHS risks. This study uses the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method. after risk identification, improvements are proposed with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to find out the root of the problem. That workers' awareness of the use of PPE is lacking, such as the result of the RPN value reaching 3 for the three highest events. So it is proposed to follow the guidelines for work standards and pre-work checks. Di era Industri saat ini, Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) merupakan hal yang perlu diperhatikan. Peningkatan kesadaran akan K3 pada setiap karyawan akan memberikan dampak sangat baik dari segi materi maupun non materi. Jika hal ini diabaikan, maka akan berakibat fatal dan tentunya dapat menimbulkan kerugian. Data kecelakaan berjumlah 6 kali yang dihitung dari bulan Januari 2022 sampai November 2022 dengan jumlah 9 karyawan. Kecelakaan yang terjadi masih dikatakan sangat tinggi dengan persentase 54% dari total tenaga kerja. Berbeda dengan kebijakan pemerintah yang menerapkan zero accident pada k3. CV. Sumber Rejeki memiliki 9 jenis risiko K3. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). setelah identifikasi risiko, diusulkan perbaikan dengan Root Cause Analysis (RCA) untuk mengetahui akar permasalahan. Kesadaran pekerja terhadap penggunaan APD kurang, seperti hasil dari nilai RPN mencapai 3 untuk tiga kejadian tertinggi Sehingga diusulkan untuk mengikuti panduan standart kerja dan pengecekan sebelum kerja.

Abstract

CV. Sumber Rejeki is one of the companies in the service sector that specializes in transporting goods using open trucks. The maintenance department is one of the parts of CV. Sumber Rejeki that has the task of ensuring the fleet operates properly, but during the truck repair process carried out, work accidents often occur. It is known that during the June-November 2023 period every month there must be an accident caused by the truck repair process. Therefore, in this study it is necessary to analyze the root of the problem in order to find out the right repair solution and the priority of repair actions. This research was conducted using FMEA and RCA methods. The FMEA results show that the priority of corrective actions lies in the pinched hand work accident. Then an analysis of the root of the problem with RCA was carried out so that an improvement solution was found in the form of using chain-block tools to lift heavier loads. In the future, it must carry out routine maintenance of work equipment and also control every work process to ensure the use of complete PPE by socializing the workmanship SOP. CV. Sumber Rejeki merupakan salah satu perusahaan di bidang jasa yang khusus melakukan pengangkutan barang dengan menggunakan truk terbuka. Departemen pemeliharaan merupakan salah satu bagian CV. Sumber Rejeki yang memiliki tugas memastikan armada beroperasi dengan baik, namun selama proses perbaikan truk yang dilakukan kerap kali terjadi kecelakaan kerja. Diketahui bahwa selama periode Juni–November 2023 tiap bulan pasti terjadi kecelakaan yang disebabkan pada proses perbaikan truk. Oleh karena itu, pada penelitian ini perlu dilakukan analisis akar masalah guna mengetahui tindak solusi perbaikan yang tepat beserta prioritas tindak perbaikan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode FMEA dan RCA. Hasil FMEA diketahui bahwa prioritas tindak perbaikan terletak pada kecelakaan kerja tangan terjepit. Kemudian dilakukan analisis akar masalah dengan RCA sehingga didapati solusi perbaikan berupa menggunakan alat bantu chain-block untuk mengangkat beban yang lebih berat. Dalam kedepannya harus melakukan perawatan peralatan kerja secara rutin dan juga mengontrol setiap proses pengerjaan untuk memastikan penggunakan APD lengkap dengan mensosialisasikan SOP pengerjaan.

Abstract

MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Operations) is a type of inventory to maintain the smooth production process. The large number of spare parts to be managed and their lumpy usage patterns are a challenge in the procurement process. This research aims to determine the classification and procurement strategy for each spare parts classification group in PT. Semen Padang. The classification method used is MUSIC-3D which consists of ABC, FNS and SDE. This classification produces 27 spare parts groups which are mapped into Kraljic's Matrix. From the mapping results, the 27 groups are spread into four quadrants. Strategic Quadrant with recommendations for partnership contract types and long-term relationships, Leverage Quadrant with recommendations for partnership or call of contract types and short-term relationships, Bottleneck Quadrant with recommendations for call of contract types and short-term relationships, Non-Critical Quadrant with recommendations for spotting purchase in the purchasing process. MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Operations) merupakan salah satu jenis persediaan untuk menjaga kelancaran proses produksi. Banyaknya jumlah suku cadang yang dikelola serta pola pemakaiannya yang lumpy menjadi tantangan dalam proses pengadaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan klasifikasi dan strategi pengadaan untuk setiap kelompok klasifikasi suku cadang di PT. Semen Padang. Metode klasifikasi yang digunakan adalah MUSIC-3D yang terdiri dari ABC, FNS dan SDE. Klasifikasi tersebut menghasilkan 27 kelompok suku cadang yang dipetakan ke dalam Kraljic’s Matrix. Dari hasil pemetaan, ke 27 kelompok suku cadang tersebar ke dalam empat kuadran. Kuadran Strategic dengan rekomendasi tipe kontrak partnership dan hubungan jangka panjang, Kuadran Leverage dengan rekomendasi tipe kontrak partnership atau call of contract dan hubungan jangka pendek, Kuadran Bottleneck dengan rekomendasi tipe kontrak call of contract dan hubungan jangka pendek, Kuadran Non–Critical dengan rekomendasi melakukan spot purchase dalam proses pembeliannya.
