This study aims to determine the effect of teaching methods and learning media on student learning outcomes in chemistry subjects, as well as the interaction between the two. This study is a quasi-experiment with a 2x2 factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) design, which considers moderator variables that may affect the relationship between independent and dependent variables. The study population was grading the instrument used was a multiple-choice objective test whose validity was tested logically and empirically. The homogeneity test used the Levene Test and the hypothesis was tested using Two-Way Analysis of Variance (Two Way ANOVA). The results showed that: (1) the PBL teaching method provided higher chemistry learning outcomes than the conventional method (p = 0.023 < α = 0.05); (2) the use of audiovisual media produced higher learning outcomes than visual media (p = 0.000 < α = 0.05); and (3) there is no significant interaction between teaching methods and learning media in influencing chemistry learning outcomes (p = 0.317 > α = 0.05). This shows that teaching methods and learning media have an independent influence on chemistry learning outcomes

Pattani as a region in southern Thailand is often plagued by conflict. This conflict can be traced back to the Anglo-Siamese treaty of 1909 which declared Pattani incorporated into Thailand. Since then, until now, the Pattani community, which is predominantly Muslim, has been at odds with the Thai government. The Muslim community living in Pattani has a different culture from the majority Thai-Buddhist community. The purpose of this paper is to write down the cultures of Pattani Muslims as a form of maintaining identity amidst the pressure of the Thai government. The method used is qualitative with data collection techniques by literature study, reviewing reading sources related to the theme, conducting interviews with 8 Muslims of Thai nationality, and watching YouTube channels that match the theme. The result is that the Pattani Muslim community maintains its traditions during a feud with the Thai government by continuing to use the Malay language, the Islamic education system, Islamic law still applies, marriage dowries, making pitue gates, doing rayo 6, serving special foods such as Ashura porridge. kerabu rice and ketupat, and wearing baju kurung as a symbol of identity. The purpose of this study was to investigate how active learning strategies can enhance student engagement and facilitate the internalization of Islamic values. This study used a qualitative approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis involving IRE teachers. The study findings revealed that active learning significantly increased student participation and moral reflection, offering a more dynamic and practical approach to character education. Teachers reported that activities such as role-playing, group discussions, and problem-solving not only made religious teachings more relevant but also encouraged students to apply Islamic principles in real-life situations. However, the study also identified challenges, including lack of training and resources, and the need to contextualize active learning within an Islamic framework. This study contributes to the broader discourse on educational strategies that nurture intellectual and moral development, offering insights and recommendations for improving character education in Islamic educational settings. Future research should focus on the long-term impact of these strategies and the development of specific training programs for IRE teachers.

The lack of varied learning media results in students' interest and desire to learn being weak or lacking, especially in PAI teaching media. So, one solution is to provide interactive learning media for students. The purpose of this study was to develop PowerPoint learning media products on Aqeeda Akhlak material at MTsN 3 Aceh Besar and to determine the level of practicality and teacher and student responses to the products produced. This study uses a research and development method with the 4D development model (Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination) developed by Thiagarajan. Data collection techniques were carried out using validation sheets, and teacher and student response questionnaires. The products researchers produced are 2 PowerPoint media on Faith in the Last Day for the odd semester and Avoiding Deviant Behavior in Teenage Associations for the even semester. The percentage of final validation results in the material field is 85%, and the rate of results in the media field is 95.5%. The total percentage of validators was 90.25% with the category “Very Valid”. Teacher response was 95% with the category “Strongly Agree”, while student response was 93.35% with “Strongly Agree”. The results showed that the PowerPoint learning media developed was feasible to use as Aqeeda Akhlak learning media

The purpose of this research is to examine the symbolic meaning of the Madurese sarong as a cultural symbol in short films featured on the YouTube channel Mata Pena. The background of this research highlights the significance of the sarong as a symbol of identity and a representation of cultural values in Madurese society. The sarong is not only viewed as an item of clothing but also as a marker of social status, tradition, and honor passed down through generations. This research employs a qualitative method with a semiotic analysis approach based on Charles Sanders Peirce's theory, focusing on three main elements: sign, object, and interpretant. This framework is used to understand how the meaning of the sarong is constructed within cultural and social contexts. The findings reveal that the Madurese sarong carries profound meaning, both as a symbol of social status and cultural identity and as a representation of tradition, politeness, religion and honor in Madurese society.
