Abstract

This research aims to find out the Role of Teacher Competence Towards the Development of Life Skills of State Junior High School Students 31 West Halmahera Regency, which aims to find out several things, namely; How the role of PPKn teachers in improving the quality of teaching and learning by using the student's life skills approach. This study uses survey methods by collecting their own data a number of units in the same time (time period), which is related to how conditions, characteristic processes, results of a variable, using a set of instruments that are data collection tools and used in collecting data to make it easier and systematic. The results of this study show that Teacher Competence Towards The Development of Life Skills of State Junior High School Students 31 West Halmahera Regency, Teachers are one of the various sources and learning media, so the role of teachers in learning becomes wider and more leads to student learning motivation through his role as a teacher. Teachers are expected to be able to encourage students to always learn in various activities or opportunities through various sources and media. Teachers should help every student and effectively be able to use learning opportunities from various learning sources and media effectively and efficiently. In the learning process a teacher focuses more on aspects, planning the organization of teaching materials, planning the management of teaching and learning activities, planning the management of classes, planning the use of media and teaching resources, and planning assessment of student achievement for the benefit of teaching. Teachers must be able to make decisions on the basis of proper assessment, whether teaching and learning activities are sufficient, whether the methods are changed, whether past activities need to be repeated, while students have not been able to achieve learning goals.

Abstract

The inculcation of nationalism values can be carried out in various ways. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the values of nationalism, constraints, and solutions in the implementation of the value of nationalism in SD Muhammadiyah Muntok. Implementation, obstacles and solutions in this study are the implementation of strengthening the values of nationalism in learning and outside learning activities. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The subjects are class teachers and subject teachers at SD Muhammadiyah Muntok. Collection through direct interviews, questionnaire collection, observation, and documentation. Abstract

The development of civic education content and learning processes in elementary schools is significant to proportionally accommodate global issues so that students can play a role as citizens and like global citizens. Various approaches and media are being developed. One of them is gamification-based interactive thematic learning media. In previous studies, an analysis of Civics learning at SDN 38 Hulonthalangi was carried out as a vehicle for the formation of students as citizens of the world. The research found a picture of the learning that was not optimal in developing student competencies as global citizens. So that the author conducts collaborative research with students in developing interactive learning media and produces interactive multimedia designs in the form of an Android-based application to know the world. This study aims to develop media and content-oriented to the Basic Competencies of Civics in the Globalization Theme in Class VI, by adopting and modifying Thiagarajan's research methods, namely define, design, develop, and dissimination. The results of this study are to test the feasibility of the application, namely by validating the application to a team of experts and has obtained an average percentage value of 93.05% for media and 93.75% for the material. Based on the results of this study, an Android-based application to know the world is very suitable to be used in the process of learning the theme of globalization for class VI and is believed to be part of the process of preparing students as global citizens in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study examines the Politics of Representation in the Simultaneous Pilkada of Ponorogo Regency in 2020. The subject of this research is the Aisyiyah organization to reveal how the representation and control of Aisyiyah Politics in the simultaneous Pilkada in Ponorogo Regency in 2020. The primary data was obtained/sourced from the Aisyiyah administrators using the method of interviews while secondary data in the form of documents about Aisyiyah's activities were collected using the documentation method. The collected data is then processed and analyzed using the Huberman-Milles interactive analysis model. Based on this analysis, it was found that many organizations want the implementation of the 2020 simultaneous elections in the Ponorogo Regency to run healthily. One of the organizations that decided to actively participate was from the women's group, Aisyiyah. Aisyiyah's political representation has become resilient in the political field for women. Aisyiyah's embodiment is to strengthen the presence of women in the 2020 simultaneous elections in Ponorogo, namely by being a political representation and controlling the implementation of the 2020 simultaneous elections in depth.

Abstract

Fenomena pendidikan politik di Indonesia sejak paska reformasi menarik untuk diteliti. Pendidikan politik sebagai upaya untuk membangun kesadaran kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara perlu ditinjau ulang dari aspek materi, penyelenggaraan, dan model Pendidikan politik yang diterapkan. Isu yang menjadi perhatian penting terkait Pendidikan politik di Indonesia menyangkut program Pendidikan politik yang diselenggarakan oleh MPR RI dengan nama 4 Pilar MPR RI sebagai program sosialisasi yang dilakukan oleh MPR RI terdiri atas Pancasila, UUD 1945, NKRI, dan Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. Program ini menjadi polemik dan persoalan di masyarakat. Fenomena Pendidikan politik ini berpengaruh pada konsepsi, persepsi, dan cara pandang masyarakat dalam melihat realitas sosial dan politik yang berkembang. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan fenomena Pendidikan politik Pancasila yang berkembang sejak paska reformasi terkait pemahaman dan konstruksi 4 Pilar MPR RI dalam wacana Pendidikan Pancasila. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari buku, jurnal ilmiah, opini pada artikel Koran, dan dokumen negara dalam bentuk peraturan perundang undangan. Metode analisis yang digunakan menggunakan analisis fenomenologi politik pendidikan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tipologi dan karakter arah dan orientasi Pendidikan politik Pancasila di Indonesia dalam mengkonstruksikan ide ide politik berbangsa dan bernegara belum sesuai dengan arah dan jalur yang tepat dan sesuai dengan pedoman umum dalam kehidupan bernegara, sehingga penyimpangan dalam penggunaan istilah terjadi sebagaimana kasus penggunaan istilah 4 Pilar MPR RI.

Abstract

The issue of land, revocation of rights or land acquisition always involves two dimensions that must be placed in a balanced way, namely "government interests" and "public interests". The acquisition of land which is mostly used for the construction of government projects or public facilities often causes disputes. The pattern of disputes that occur regarding disputes between the community and between the community and the private sector is the amount of compensation. This paper wants to examine the achievement as a price fixing for the interest of land in the public interest. The research method used is a normative legal research method to examine the substance of positive law textually (not only on norms, but also on principles, even the values contained in them). In determining compensation in the process of land acquisition for the public interest, justice must still be prioritized because this is related to individual rights to land. Apart from which public interest must be available, the interests of the community as individuals must also be pleasing and respected because individuals have the right to be fair and proper before the law.

Abstract

The problem of social studies learning management, especially in designing character education designs, presents several challenges and a series of expectations for the formation of the noble character of students. The purpose of this study is to identify and evaluate the knowledge and skills of educators in managerial aspects of learning activities which are still a challenge in designing lesson plans (RPP) and implementing and evaluating their success. The method used is the Evaluation Research Method based on the Stake's Evaluation Model, which consists of three evaluation components, namely: Antecedents, Transactions, and Outcomes. The results of this study indicate that the Antecedents component, namely environmental analysis for social studies learning planning and design, is in a low category. The Transactions component, namely the implementation of learning explicitly packaged for character education, is in the moderate category and tends to be quiet. Finally, the Outcomes component is in the intermediate class. Therefore, it is recommended to increase the knowledge and skills of educators in the Antecedents aspect through training or technical guidance on social studies learning management, especially in learning environment analysis for planning, implementation and reflection(PIR).

Abstract

Mungubingois the embodiment of a variety of cultural heritages that are still preserved by the indigenous people of Gorontalo to this day whose customs are based on syarah and syarah based on Qitabullah (ASQ). Mongubingo is the value of wisdom of the indigenous people of Gorontalo. In a formal juridical perspective, mongubingo does not find a rational place to be practiced. The claim of WHO and Komnas Perempuan against the implementation of the tradition of female circumcision as a violation of human rights is actually considered a very obligatory thing, especially for women in Gorontalo. Based on this debate, this study aims to examine how the Mongubingo Perspective in Gorontalo Indigenous Culture and the practice of the Mongubingo tradition in its formal juridical perspective. In order to achieve this goal, the qualitative method with an ethnogarphy approach is considered representative in mapping the research objectives. The results showed that, for the indigenous people of Gorontalo, mongubingo is an obligation for women to carry out a process of self-purification as a form of harmony between custom and religion. In addition, from a formal juridical perspective, mongubingo does not receive formal recognition, but on the other hand, there is a perspective that must be obeyed and realized by both the state and citizens who are recognized and respected for the basic right to belief in religion and recognition of customary law communities. Based on these findings, the formulation of state policies and regulations should accommodate all customary entities so that there is no conflict between the state and indigenous peoples.

Abstract

Untuk memperbaiki rusaknya karakter warga negara, instrumen kearifan lokal yang dimiliki oleh masing-masing daerah sangat penting. Namun, kearifan lokal yang dimiliki oleh bangsa ini belum menjadi prioritas dalam penguatan karakter warga negara, tidak terkecuali kearifan lokal Suku Bajo di Desa Torosiaje Kecamatan Popayato Kabupaten Pohuwato Provinsi Gorontalo. Padahal karakter yang dimiliki oleh masyarakat Suku Bajo di Torosiaje potensial untuk menunjang penguatan karakter warga negara. Olehnya, tujuan dari penelitian ini ingin mengetahui secara mendalam karakter Suku Bajo di Torosiaje dan penguatan karakter Suku Bajo melalui Pendidikan Dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara pengamatan, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data melalui reduksi, display, dan kesimpulan.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan  Suku Bajo di Torosiaje memiliki karakter cinta identitas, tangguh, toleransi, dan kreatif.  Proses penguatan karakter Suku Bajo di SDN 04 Popayato melalui pelajaran Mulok dengan cara mengintegrasikan karakter Suku Bajo ke tema-tema materi, seperti Tema 8 di kelas IV tentang Daerah Tempat Tinggalku dan Tema 8 di kelas VI tentang Bumiku. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, karakter Suku Bajo di Torosiaje memiliki basis karakter positif dalam kehidupan berbangsa serta proses proses penguatannya melalui pembelajaran Mulok di kelas IV dan kelas VI.

Abstract

Peace education programs develop during and after a series of incidents of conflict that hit a region. Based on the problem identification, this research is limited to the problem of intercultural learning to increase the sensitivity of diversity. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D). R&D is a development and research model for designing new products and procedures that are systematic, evaluative, and selected until specific and quality criteria are found. The study results indicate that the socio-cultural education model with all its aspects can be practiced through multiculturalism-based peace education. Peace education is used to living in harmony, while multiculturalism is useful for understanding differences. Education needs to provide more than just words. But provides opportunities for students to develop, actively seek and process knowledge. Intercultural learning activities for which educators must be willing to use shared learning strategies include group learning processes. Educational institutions that educate based on the multiculturalism that have different values of language, ethnicity, religion, ethnicity, race, and group background in the Educational Institution, both from educators and from students.
