Abstract

Pendidikan Islam sangat erat kaitanya dengan nasionalisme karena di dalam nilai-nilai nasionalisme Sebagian besar nilai Pendidikan Islam, oleh karena itu Pendidikan Islam mampu meningkatkan nilai-nilai nasionalisme pada pederta didik. Terutama nilai ukhwah Islamiyah, Ukhwah Insaniyah dan ukhwah wato’niyah, selain itu untuk mendongkrak nilai tersebut adalah nilai integritas, patriotisme, mandiri dan menghormati jasa pahlawan. Metode yang digunakan peneliti yakni metode kualitatif.

Abstract

Islamic education aims to build quality humans both in this world and in the afterlife. Apart from that, he must also take part in empowering the community to create prosperity and happiness among them. One of the groups that must be empowered is the elderly community, where they experiences decline and change from a psychological and physiological perspective. This research aims to describe Islamic education in empowering elderly communities. The method used is qualitative with a library study approach model. The data was collected using documentation techniques and then analyzed descriptively. The research results show that Islamic education has a very important role in bridging understanding of religion, forming morals, creating a sense of mutual assistance, and helping to prepare complete Muslim individuals for the daily life of elderly people. Apart from that, it is also possible to achieve physical and spiritual well-being as well as happiness in old age through various religious programs such as holding Islamic Recitations, Al-Qur'an Reading Guidance, Worship Development, and Hadroh Training.

Abstract

As the main agents of learning, lecturers and teachers have an important role in influencing the learning process and outcomes both in cognitive aspects, skills, attitudes and values ​​in students (students). Specifically, lecturers not only teach but are also scientists tasked with developing science and technology for society. As educators, lecturers (and teachers) are required to have four competency standards, namely pedagogical, personal, professional and social competencies. This qualitative research aims to determine the professional competence of STKIP Yapis Dompu lecturers. Professional competence is competence related to lecturers' teaching abilities. Data collection was carried out through interviews and document study. The primary data source is the results of the performance evaluation of STKIP Yapis lecturers in the field of learning for the 2021/2022 academic year. The collected data was then processed and analyzed descriptively. Of the 33 lecturers who were evaluated using 10 indicators, 24 people received a "B+" with scores: 282-306 (70.5-76.5); 7 people got a "B" score: 264-279 (268-279) and the remaining 2 people got a "C+" score: 244-250 (61-62.5). The highest score was 306 (76.5) while the lowest score was 244 (61) and conversely, not a single lecturer received an "A" grade. The results of this research conclude that although the professional competence of STKIP Yapis lecturers is generally quite good, it requires continuous improvement in the future.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the extent of the effectiveness of the Arabic camp program in supporting the mastery of maharah kalam. This research uses an experimental design and applies a pre-experimental method with a one group pretest and posttest design with three steps: 1) Pre-test carried out to determine variables, 2) Give X treatment to the subject, 3) Carry out post-test, and analyze scores pre-test and post-test to determine the differences caused by the treatment. The population of this study was 200 MTSN 1 Bima City students consisting of 6 classes. Then the researchers determined a sample of 20 people using purposive sampling technique. The results of data analysis show that student learning achievement in the pre-test was 71.7 and post-test was 86.1. This shows that Arabic camp is a good strategy to support the mastery of maharah kalam in MTSN 1 Kota Bima students. After analyzing the data using the t test formula, the t test value (11.86) was greater than the t table value (2.093). There is a significant influence of the Arabic language camp program on student achievement in the Arabic language learning process. The implementation of the Arabic camp at MTSN 1 Bima City lasted for three days and this had a positive effect on students' skills in maharah kalam.

Abstract

The development of education in the world is inseparable from the contributions of Islam, which has played a significant role in it. Consequently, Islam holds a legitimate position in terms of the quality of education, which should be acknowledged publicly as a marker that these contributions must be academically recognized. The contributions of Islamic education to the world can be seen from the scientific heritage of the medieval period when Europe and the Middle East were engaged in debates over reason. The presence of Islamic education had an impact on the process of classifying knowledge into rational ('aqliah) and transmitted ('naqliah) sciences. This classification led to the emergence of branches of rational sciences, including medicine, mathematics, sciences (physics, astronomy, and chemistry), and sosial sciences (economics, geography, and psychology). In the field of medicine, Abdullah Al-Hasan Bin Al Bin Sina, commonly known as Ibn Sina, emerged with his book "Al-Qanun fi at-Tibb." In the field of mathematics, Muhammad Bin Musa Al-Khwarizmi made significant contributions to algebra, trigonometry, algorithms, and the invention of the number zero, and authored the book "Mukhtasar fi Hisab Al-Jabr Wa’l Muqabala." In addition to his expertise in mathematics, he also had a deep understanding of astronomy, as reflected in his work "as-Sindhind." In the field of technology, Abu Al-Izz Ibn Ismail Ibn Razaz Al-Jazari.

Abstract

This study is based on the low early literacy levels of children, caused by a lack of engaging learning media that stimulates children's interest in learning and the use of inappropriate teaching methods in teaching literacy to children. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the roll dice challenge game on the early literacy of children aged 5-6 years in Polombangkeng Utara District. The research approach used is a quantitative approach with a Quasi-Experimental Design type. The population in this study consists of children aged 5-6 years in early childhood education institutions in Polombangkeng Utara District. The sample was taken using purposive sampling technique. The research sample consisted of 34 children, 17 children as the experimental group and 17 children as the control group. The data collection techniques in this study include tests, observations, and documentation. The data analysis techniques in this study include prerequisite tests and independent sample t-tests. The results of the study concluded that the roll dice challenge game has a significant effect on the early literacy of children aged 5-6 years in Polombangkeng Utara District.

Abstract

Chat GPT is an artificial intelligence tool that has sparked debate regarding its implications for the world of education. Researchers use a qualitative method with a SWOT analysis framework approach to describe the strengths and weaknesses of ChatGPT, as well as discuss its opportunities and threats to Islamic education. Its strengths include the use of advanced natural language models to generate reasonable answers, the ability to improve itself, and the provision of personal and real-time responses. Thus, ChatGPT can enhance access to information, facilitate personalized and complex learning, and reduce the teaching workload, making processes and tasks more efficient. Its weaknesses include a lack of deep understanding, difficulty in evaluating the quality of responses, the risk of bias and discrimination, and a lack of high-level thinking skills. The threats to education include a lack of contextual understanding, threatening academic integrity, promoting discrimination in education, democratizing plagiarism, and the decline of high-level cognitive skills.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify relevant prophetic values and the model for developing an Arabic-speaking environment based on prophetic communication. The type of research used is a literature study and descriptive-analytic technique to describe the research problems based on literature data taken from writings, papers, journals, and relevant scientific articles or books. Furthermore, it examines how the internalization of prophetic communication values can develop an Arabic-speaking environment. The findings indicate that the prophetic communication values relevant for implementation in education and learning should be based on the four prophetic traits with the vision of humanization, liberation, and transcendence in the forms of qaulan (words) sadidan, balighan, kariman, ma’rufan, layyinan, and maysura. This can be internalized in the Arabic-speaking environment development program by creating a positive learning atmosphere, building strong relationships, developing language skills holistically, creating an environment that supports language practice, and setting an example in language use.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the existence and policies of Islamic education during the Dutch colonial period. This research is necessary because the existence of Islamic education in Indonesia is inseparable from a historical process that has experienced ups and downs. The history of education in Indonesia has undergone remarkable changes, closely tied to the era of colonialism. A qualitative method with a descriptive approach is employed to analyze the data, which is obtained from literature after a thorough study of relevant sources regarding the policies of Islamic education during the Dutch colonial period. The study finds that the Dutch hegemony in shaping policies for Islamic education in Indonesia, particularly by Islamic educational institutions, is based on political, ideological, and cultural reasoning in the colonial style to enforce its influence over the indigenous people of Indonesia. Consequently, this analysis reveals that the policies issued by the Dutch government during its colonial period in Indonesia often disadvantaged the Muslim community. In conclusion, these findings indicate that Islamic education became less flexible and challenging to develop. Nevertheless, efforts to fight for and sustain Islamic education continue through the establishment of institutions such as pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) and madrasahs, despite facing limitations and challenges.

Abstract

This writing aims to analyze the theories and principles of developing a multicultural Islamic Religious Education curriculum. The study employs a literature review method with a qualitative approach to understand the principles of curriculum development. Data sources include books, journals, research findings, and relevant theses, which are analyzed using content analysis techniques to sort, identify, and summarize information from various literature to provide a different perspective on the multicultural Islamic Religious Education curriculum. The study's findings reveal that the development of a multicultural Islamic Religious Education curriculum is based on two main principles: general and specific principles. The general principles emphasize Islamic values and cultural diversity as learning resources while preserving cultural heritage. The specific principles cover aspects such as objectives, content, processes, facilities, and curriculum assessment. Both principles are designed to create a flexible and comprehensive curriculum that fosters tolerance and appreciation for pluralism. This curriculum is expected to facilitate inclusive and relevant learning that meets the needs of multicultural societies, thereby promoting social harmony and cultural awareness.
