Abstract

This study is to determine the effect of using educational games with wordwall as an aid on students' learning motivation of grade III SDN 105339 Binjai Bakung in Mathematics lessons. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study with a quantitative approach. The design used is Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The participants of this study were all students of grade IIIA UPT SPF SDN 105339 Binjai Bakung, Pantai Labu District, Deli Serdang Regency, totaling 28 students. The population in this study were all students of grade III UPT SPF SDN 105339 Binjai Bakung. The sample used in this research was a Probability Sampling technique. The results of this study are that the effect of using educational games assisted by wordwall on the learning motivation of grade III students of SDN 105339 Binjai Bakung in Mathematics lessons, especially the material on presenting data in tables. it can be concluded that the results of the study show that there is a significant effect of using the Wordwall educational game on students' learning motivation. This is proven through the independent sample t-test statistical test which produces a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000, which is smaller than the significance level of 0.05. This means that there is a significant difference between the learning motivation of students who use Wordwall and students who do not use it. Students who use Wordwall show a higher increase in learning motivation. Learning with Wordwall creates a more interactive, fun, and challenging learning atmosphere, so that students are more active and motivated. Although there are several obstacles such as limited time and facilities, the use of Wordwall has proven effective in increasing students' learning motivation in Mathematics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of training and compensation on employee performance at PT Pegadaian Mandala Branch, Medan City. The background of this research is based on the importance of human resources as the main asset of a company, where improving employee quality through structured training programs and appropriate compensation is expected to enhance performance. The research method used is a quantitative approach with data collected through questionnaires distributed to employees and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that training has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, meaning that the better the training programs provided, the higher the employees’ competence and work productivity. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that training has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a coefficient value of 0.421 and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. Compensation also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a coefficient value of 0.367 and a significance level of 0.002 < 0.05. Simultaneously, training and compensation significantly affect employee performance, as indicated by an F-value of 28.754 > F-table of 3.23 and an R² value of 0.652, meaning that 65.2% of the variation in employee performance is explained by training and compensation, while the remaining 34.8% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

The rapid development of modern society has encouraged the emergence of a consumptive lifestyle characterized by excessive purchasing behavior, material orientation, and the pursuit of social status. This condition potentially weakens spiritual values and moral awareness. Therefore, the concept of zuhud in Sufism becomes highly relevant as a spiritual approach that emphasizes simplicity, self-control, and prioritizing eternal values over temporary worldly pleasures. This study aims to analyze the relevance of the concept of zuhud in Sufism as an ethical and spiritual solution to the consumptive lifestyle in modern society. This research employs a qualitative approach using library research methods by analyzing classical and contemporary Sufi literature, supported by sociological studies on consumer culture. Data were analyzed using descriptive-analytical techniques to examine the correlation between Sufi values and modern lifestyle behavior. The results show that zuhud does not mean rejecting the world entirely, but rather controlling attachment to material possessions and using wealth proportionally according to needs. The application of zuhud values can encourage individuals to develop self-awareness, gratitude, simplicity, and social responsibility, which can reduce excessive consumption patterns. Therefore, the concept of zuhud in Sufism remains highly relevant as a moral foundation in shaping a balanced, ethical, and spiritually oriented lifestyle in modern society.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model Problem Based Learning dengan penggunaan media audio visual terhadap minat kelas III SDN Plamongansari 02 Semarang. Model pembelajaran yang digunakan yaitu Problem Based Learning. Adapun media audio visual yang digunakan yaitu berupa video pembelajaran dan PPT. desain penelitian dan pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara dan angket. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi data. Pada hasil penelitian dapat diketahui selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung menggunakan model Problem Based Learning dengan penggunaan media audio visual mendapatkan respon yang baik dari responden dengan aspek perasaan senang, perhatian, tertarik, dan keterlibatan mendapatkan respon yang baik dengan presentase 82,59% , model Problem Based Learning mampu memberikan dampak yang positif bagi siswa membuat siswa dapat berpikir kritis dalam menyelesaikan masalah, dengan adanya model Problem Based Learning dengan penggunaan media audio visual membantu meningkatkan minat belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Sales Call, Effective Call, and SKU Sold on increasing sales performance of salesmen at UD. Prima Jaya Mandiri, a distributor of PT. Nestlé Indonesia in Gorontalo Province. The rapid development of business competition requires companies to implement effective marketing communication strategies and efficient inventory management to maintain sales growth. This research employed a quantitative research method with a descriptive statistical approach. The population consisted of consumers of UD. Prima Jaya Mandiri in Gorontalo Province, with a sample of 30 respondents selected using purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using validity and reliability tests, partial (t-test), and simultaneous (F-test) hypothesis testing. The results indicate that Sales Call, Effective Call, and SKU Sold each have a positive and significant effect on sales improvement partially. Simultaneously, these three variables also show a positive and significant influence on increasing sales performance. The findings suggest that effective personal selling communication, successful transaction outcomes, and accurate inventory control through SKU management play an important role in enhancing sales performance. Therefore, companies are encouraged to strengthen sales call strategies, improve communication effectiveness, and optimize inventory management to achieve sustainable sales growth.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low mastery of multiplication concepts among elementary school students, which is caused by conventional learning that focuses on memorization. Such learning does not actively involve students and does not optimally utilize concrete learning media, resulting in less meaningful understanding of multiplication concepts. Therefore, the use of learning media that can help students understand multiplication concepts more effectively is needed. This study aimed to determine the improvement of students’ mastery of multiplication concepts in Grade III of SD Negeri 25 Banda Aceh through the use of Multiplication Board media. This research employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design using a one group pretest–posttest design. The research subjects consisted of 30 students of Grade IIIA at SD Negeri 25 Banda Aceh. The research instruments included pretest and posttest questions to measure students’ mastery of multiplication concepts, as well as observation sheets to assess teacher and student activities during the learning process. The data were analyzed using a normality test and hypothesis testing with a t-test. The observation results showed that teacher activity reached a percentage of 95.33% and student activity reached 94.84%, both of which were categorized as very good. The t-test results indicated that the t-value was 35.66, while the t-table value was 1.699, meaning that the t-value was higher than the t-table value. This indicates an improvement in students’ mastery of multiplication concepts after using the Multiplication Board media. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the use of Multiplication Board media can improve the mastery of multiplication concepts among Grade III students at SD Negeri 25 Banda Aceh. This study suggests that teachers use concrete learning media and encourage students to be more active in the learning process to enhance their understanding of multiplication concepts.

Abstract

The problem addressed in this study is the low speaking skills of fourth-grade students at SD Muhammadiyah Karuwisi Makassar. This study aims to improve students’ speaking skills by using the Round Robin learning model in fourth-grade students at SD Muhammadiyah Karuwisi Makassar. This research employs both qualitative and quantitative approaches with a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design. The subjects of this study were seven fourth-grade students. The data collection techniques used were observation, tests, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Round Robin learning model is able to improve the speaking skills of fourth-grade students at SD Muhammadiyah Karuwisi Makassar. The improvement in speaking skills can be seen from the achievement of the research success indicators, marked by an increase in the percentage of students’ learning mastery in each cycle. The percentage of learning mastery in Cycle I was 43%, and it increased to 100% in Cycle II.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of school culture in forming a holistic educational environment in Kober St Leonard Warikeo. Qualitative methods were used through observation and interviews during PLP 1 (17–27 February 2025) with a focus on school culture, learning processes, and interactions between school members. Participants included 13 students, teachers, and education personnel. The results of the study indicate that the school culture in the institution is supported by a clear vision and mission, structured rules, and co-curricular and extracurricular activities that support student development. As many as 76.93% of students are in the “very well developed” category, supported by positive practices such as the 3S culture (smile, greet, say hello), high discipline, and teacher role models. Teachers demonstrate a commitment to active, innovative learning, and responsive mentoring. Other supporting factors include a beautiful school environment, adequate facilities, and positive responses to stakeholder input. These findings confirm that a collaborative, value-oriented, and adaptive school culture contributes significantly to the achievement of student development academically and in character. The implication is that schools need to strengthen participatory culture and consistency in implementing rules to ensure the sustainability of educational quality. This study recommends the integration of school culture as a primary strategy in developing a holistic curriculum at the PAUD level.

Abstract

In general, teachers work to get satisfaction in carrying out their work. Satisfaction at work encourages the emergence of enthusiasm in work so that it tends to perform well. Many factors affect job satisfaction, including career development support and empowerment by the principal. The focus of the research is on how much the contribution of career development support and empowerment by the principal to teacher job satisfaction. The research method used is descriptive and verification methods, with data collection techniques using a Likert scale questionnaire, to the teacher. Processing of research results using regression analysis techniques. The significance test uses the F-test. The results showed that: (1) There was a positive and significant contribution of career development support to teacher job satisfaction. (2) There is a positive and significant contribution of empowerment by the principal to job satisfaction. (3) There is a positive and significant contribution to the support of career development and empowerment by the principal simultaneously to teacher job satisfaction. Considering that job satisfaction is very important in order to increase work motivation and school productivity, teachers as the most members of the education unit should be given even greater opportunities to grow followed by adequate funding assistance so that their careers develop more in the hope that teachers feel more satisfied at work. It is recommended to give more responsibility to the teacher so that the teacher unconsciously enters the empowerment process. Teachers should be alternately assigned to manage various activities with the authority to make decisions with the permission of the school principal. It is hoped that the teacher will develop his insight and confidence, which in turn can increase the level of satisfaction at work.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to the world of education, including at the madrasah ibtidaiyah level. The implementation of digital-based learning has become one of the strategic efforts to improve the quality of learning, but in practice, it still faces various challenges at the teacher level. This study aims to describe and analyze the problems faced by teachers in implementing digital-based learning at MIN 1 Bungo. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study research type. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies involving teachers and madrasah management. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and continuous conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the problems faced by teachers in digital-based learning include limited digital pedagogical competence, unpreparedness in designing interactive digital learning, limited supporting facilities and infrastructure, and resistance to changes in the learning paradigm. In addition, the lack of optimal policy support and teacher professional development programs also affects the effectiveness of digital-based learning implementation. However, this study also found good practices that show the great potential of digital learning when supported by teacher competence, adequate facilities, and a school culture that is adaptive to innovation. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that the implementation of digital-based learning in madrasah ibtidaiyah requires a comprehensive and sustainable approach, not only focusing on the provision of technology, but also on strengthening teacher competencies, institutional support, and the integration of educational values. The findings of this study are expected to serve as a reference for policy makers and education practitioners in developing contextual digital learning strategies oriented towards improving the quality of learning.
