Abstract

Dwi Nola Sumiati, 037118162. The Effect of Application of Problem Based Learning Model on Student Learning Outcomes of Single and Mixed Objects in Class V Elementary School. Thesis of Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Pakuan University, 2022. This research is a quasi-experimental research. This study aims to determine the effect of applying the Problem Based Learning model on student learning outcomes. This research was conducted at the Bojong Kiharib State Elementary School, Cigombong District, class V A and V B in the even semester of June. The calculation of the N-Gain of the Problem Based Learning model is 63 and the calculation of the N-Gain of the Discovery Learning model is 27. The researcher also conducted a normality test with the Liliefors test for both samples of normal distribution because both samples were smaller than Ltabel. In the Problem Based Learning class group, the value of Lhitung ≤ Ltabel is 0,430 ≤ 0,173, in the Discovery Learning class group Lhitung ≤ Ltabel is 0,336 ≤ 0,173. Then in the homogeneity test the data is homogeneous because it is smaller than Ftabel, the value is 1,42 ≤ 2,01. Furthermore, in the hypothesis test, thitung of 53,3 is greater than ttabel of 2,01063, indicating that H0 (zero hypothesis) is rejected and Ha (alternative hypothesis) is accepted. Based on the results of the research above, it can be stated that the application of the Problem Based Learning model has an influence on learning outcomes.

Abstract

The problems that often occur in grade I are related to reading and writing. The difficulties experienced by students when reading and writing activities are that students find it difficult to distinguish several letters such as letters d from letters b and p, and reading is still not fluent. The purpose of this research is to describe the strategies and methods used by the teacher to improve the reading and writing skills of grade I students. This research method is qualitative with a case study type. Data collection techniques are using interviews, observation and documentation. The data source involved 2 teachers and 4 students. Testing the validity of the data using triangulation. Data analysis techniques namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the teacher has made efforts to develop students' reading and writing skills even though they have not shown maximum results such as the lack of use of interesting learning media in the learning process. The inhibiting factor for the teacher's efforts to develop reading and writing skills is the ability of students who are not the same, then the class atmosphere is not conducive and there is a lack of guidance from parents to accompany their children when studying at home, causing a lack of interest in student learning. The conclusion from the research results is that the efforts made by the teacher in developing reading and writing skills are using the spelling method, using interesting teaching materials and learning media, the teacher also gives additional hours to students who are not fluent in reading and writing, and there is collaboration between parents and teachers in developing students' reading and writing abilities

Abstract

Discipline has a great influence on the learning process. Studying with discipline can increase enthusiasm during the learning process. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the learning discipline of fifth grade students at SDN 1 Pelemkerep in Civics learning subjects. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. This research was conducted at SDN 1 Pelemkerep which is located in Pelemkerep Village, Mayong District, Jepara Regency in May 2023. The subjects in this study were a class V teacher and 6 class V students at SDN 1 Pelemkerep who were selected by researchers in the category of 2 students with a high level of learning discipline , 2 students with a low level of learning discipline, and 2 students who do not have a learning discipline. Data collection techniques used in this study through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data validation test in this study used the triangulation method. Data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions/verification. The results of this study are that the learning discipline of fifth grade students at SDN 1 Pelemkerep in Civics subjects is influenced by two factors, namely intrinsic factors and extrinsic factors. Intrinsic factors are factors that come from within students including: interest, motivation, and cognitive abilities. While extrinsic factors are factors that come from outside the students themselves including: school environment, family environment, and community environment.

Abstract

Children with mental retardation (mental retardation) are children who experience disorders of psychological development and intelligence abilities so that they have an impact on cognitive development and adaptive attitudes, so that there are differences in children in general. this affects the level of mentally retarded children, namely starting from the early stages of the mild, moderate, severe and very heavy categories. It is very important to realize this from all component parties, including children and the surrounding community. However, in reality there is still very low understanding of mentally retarded children among children and society. Based on these problems, it is necessary to socialize efforts about mentally retarded children (mental retardation). This activity was carried out at the community service center, namely at MIN 07 Seluma, Serambi Gunung Village, Kec. Talo, Kab. Seluma. With an explanation of the meaning of mentally retarded children or mental retardation. The method used in this service is socialization with the target students of MIN 07 Seluma with the method of question and answer activities and lectures. Based on the results of the initial survey, there are still many students who do not know about mentally retarded children. This service activity was carried out in April 2023 at MIN 07 Seluma.

Abstract

Latar belakang dalam penelitian ini adalah Membaca permulaan (Depdikbud, 1991) termasuk jenis-jenis pengajaran membaca dan menulis. Sedangkan menurut (Tarigan,1979) membaca permulaan adalah mengasosiasikan lambang tulisan sebagai proses mencocokkan huruf atau melafalkan yang ditempuh sebagai langkah yang pertama. Fokus penelitian ini adalah Faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi kesulitan membaca pada siswa kelas I SD Islam Nurul Qur’an Kudu Semarang? Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kesulitan membaca pemula pada siswa kelas I SD Islam Nurul Qur’an Kudu Semarang. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Kepala Sekolah, Guru Kelas I, dan Siswa Kelas I SD Islam Nurul Qur’an Kudu Semarang. Teknik pengumpulan data ini dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini saran yang dapat disampaikan adalah siswa yang belum lancar membaca harus selalu berusaha untuk bisa serta lebih rajin dan semangat untuk membiasakan membaca, perhatian serta dorongan dari orang tua juga merupakan hal yang sangat penting dalam suatu pembelajaran membaca, oleh karena itu siswa kelas I SD Islam Nurul Qur’an Kudu Genuk Semarang dapat membaca dengan baik dan lancar.

Abstract

The lack of motivation to learn leads to students showing less enthusiasm in their learning process. Therefore, the author is interested in implementing the Ice Breaking technique. The main objective of this study was to examine the impact of the applied Ice Breaking technique. The research adopted a quasi-experimental approach and was conducted at SD Negeri 255 Griya Bumi Antapani, Bandung City, targeting third-grade students with a total population of 105. The sampling method employed was purposive sampling, where 20 students each were selected from both Class III-B (control group) and Class III-C (experimental group), resulting in a total of 40 students in both control and experimental classes. The results of the homogeneity test indicated that there were homogeneous data variants and samples after the treatment. Data for the study were collected using a questionnaire. The findings of the research revealed the following: There is a significant influence of using the Ice Breaking technique on the learning motivation of third-grade students at SD Negeri 255 Griya Bumi Antapani, Bandung City, during the 2021/2022 academic year. This conclusion is supported by the outcomes of the Independent Sample T Test, which showed a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000, indicating that it is less than 0.05. As a result, the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Hα) was accepted. The average motivation score of the experimental class was 81.60, which is higher than the control class's average score of 61.75.

Abstract

Penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana project based learning yang digunakan guru dalam kegiatan belajar dengan menggunakan materi IPAS dapat berjalan baik dan sesuai dengan kurikulum merdeka. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kajian literatur yaitu peneliti melakukan kajian teori yang berkaitan dengan topik penelitian yang dibuat dan cara peneliti menetapkan topik penelitianya. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan oleh peneliti berupa dokumentasi melalui buku, catatan, makalah atau artikel lainnnya yang berhubungan dengan judul yang digunakan. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapati pembelajaran proyek lebih melatih siswa dan pembelajaran bervariatif.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model Problem Based Learning terhadap pemecahan masalah materi kubus dan balok kelas V SD N Kalicari 01. Permasalahan pada penelitian ini adalah apakah ada pengaruh penerapan model Problem Based Learning terhadap pemecahan masalah materi kubus dan balok kelas V SD N Kalicari 01. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Lokasi penelitin dilaksanakan di SD N Kalicari 01. Tektik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan angket, tes, dokumentasi. Menggunakan teknik analisis data yaitu analisis instrument tes, analisis data, uji hipotesis, uji statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa model Problem Based Learning yang diterapkan dikelas dapat membantu siswa dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah materi kubus dan balok. Dibuktikan dengan menggunakan uji t terdapat pengaruh pada perlakukan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah materi kubus dan balok kelas V di SD N Kalicari 01. Dan peneliti mengambil kesimpulan bahwa model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Saran yang dapat disampaikan adalah model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat dijadikan salah satu model pembelajaran alternatif meningkatkan keaktifan siswa agar siswa tidak bosen dengan pembelajaran yang hanya menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the effectiveness of limited face-to-face learning has an effect on improving student learning outcomes, during learning during the current pandemic and new normal. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach with survey methods and the independent variable analysis is the effectiveness of limited face-to-face learning (PTMT) and the dependent variable is Student Learning Outcomes. The research sample used by the researcher is simple random sampling. The samples used by the researchers were class VIII A, VIII B, and VIII C. Furthermore, data collection in this study used a questionnaire/questionnaire and interviews. Researchers process the results of the analysis data, including technical analysis of normality, homogeneity, simple linear regression, coefficient of determination, and the last is hypothesis testing. Research results the results of data analysis tests by researchers prove that students in the effectiveness of the implementation of limited face-to-face learning (PTMT) on student learning outcomes have good response results. Based on the results of the research hypothesis testing using the t-test showing the value of t count = 4.661 > 0.1735, it can be seen that the limited face-to-face learning effectiveness variable (PTMT) has an effect on learning outcomes. It can be concluded that the factors that influence the results of the study are 21% that students feel the effectiveness of implementing limited face-to-face learning (PTMT) is effective and optimal. It is proven that the implementation of limited face-to-face learning will have an effect on increasing student learning outcomes. It can be concluded that there are differences in learning outcomes when the implementation of online learning and PTMT takes place.

Abstract

Pembelajaran masih menekankan penghafalan konsep materi terkait. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana efektivitas model pembelajaran inquiry terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis IPA siswa kelas V SDN Pandeanlamper 05 Semarang. Jenis penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dalam bentuk Pre Experimental Design. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah One-group Pretest- Posttest Design. Setelah diberikan perlakuan diperoleh nilai rata-rata 78,12 sedangkan untuk uji t diperoleh hasil sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 dengan taraf signifikansi 5% maka diperoleh sig (2-tailed) < 0,05 maka Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Sehingga terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara pretest dan posttest. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran inquiry efektif meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis IPA siswa kelas V SDN Pandeanlamper 05 Semarang
