Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences and the effect of the use of the Ecoliteracy and Adaptation (ELA) learning model on the science learning discipline of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Padokan. The background of this study is the low level of students’ learning discipline, which is indicated by the lack of focus, responsibility, and active participation in science learning. This research employed a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent pretest–posttest control group design. The population consisted of 46 fifth-grade students who were divided into two classes, namely the experimental class using the ELA learning model and the control class using direct instruction. The data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and a learning discipline questionnaire administered before and after the treatment. The data were analyzed using statistical tests to determine the differences and the effect of the ELA model on students’ learning discipline. The results showed that the average pretest score of the experimental class was 39.00 and increased to 45.52 in the posttest, while the control class had an average pretest score of 35.35 which increased to 38.91 in the posttest. The result of the Independent Sample t-test showed that the value of Sig. (2-tailed) was 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Ecoliteracy and Adaptation (ELA) learning model is effective and has a positive effect in improving the science learning discipline of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Padokan. Abstract

This study was motivated by students’ low understanding of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS), particularly on natural resources material, due to the use of conventional teaching methods and limited learning media. This research aims to develop a diorama-based learning media using coconut fiber and to determine its feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness in improving students’ learning outcomes. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 106163 Bandar Klippa with 25 fourth-grade students as the subjects. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The results showed that the developed diorama media was categorized as highly feasible based on expert validation, including material experts (86%), test experts (85%), media experts (86%), and education practitioners (94.6%). The media was also considered practical for classroom use. In terms of effectiveness, there was a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes, indicated by an increase in the average pretest score from 46.46 to 79.3 in the posttest, and learning mastery improved from 16% to 100%. In conclusion, the coconut fiber-based diorama learning media is feasible, practical, and highly effective in improving elementary school students’ learning outcomes on natural resources material.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan analisis pemahaman konsep matematika menggunakan media video pembelajaran matematika di kelas III C SDN Dewi Sartika CBM Kota Sukabumi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalahh wawancara dan dokumentasi. Peneliti bertindak sebagai instrumen pengumpul data. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model analisis menurut Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari tahap reduksi data (data reduction), penyajian data (data display), dan conclusion drawing/ verification. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas III C tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Jumlah siswa sebanyak 28 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas III C cukup tinggi yaitu pada indikator menyatakan ulang sebuah konsep dan indikator yang kurang dipahami oleh siswa yaitu indikator mengembangkan syarat perlu atau syarat cukup suatu konsep. Hambatan yang dihadapi oleh guru yaitu tidak dapat membimbing siswa secara maksimal, keterbatasan siswa dalam memiliki dan menggunakan handphone serta orang tua yang tidak dapat meluangkan waktu kerja. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of animated cartoon film media on the ability to listen to Indonesian language subjects in class IV students at SD Negeri 2 Tanjung Kerang. The research method used in this research is an experimental method with the form of Pre-Experimental Designs and using the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research sample was 22 students of class IV A. The instruments in this study were pre-test and post-test. The data analysis technique in this study was to analyze the data by means of a paired sample t-test using IBM SPSS Statistics version 26. The results of this study indicated that the posttest average value was greater than the pretest average value (81.50 > 63.27 ). Then the value is greater than (14.029 > 2.080), with a sig (2 t-tailed) value less than 0.05 of 0.000 <0.05 with the results of the hypothesis = rejected and = accepted. So it can be concluded that this study shows that the use of animated cartoon film media has an effect on the ability to listen to Indonesian language subjects in class IV SD Negeri 2 Tanjung Kerang.

Abstract

Lifeboat maintenance is crucial. This study aims to optimize lifeboat maintenance on the KM. Egon ship. This study uses descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques including field observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results indicate that obstacles to lifeboat maintenance on the KM. Egon ship are influenced by several factors: maintenance schedules, human factors, material factors, and weather factors. This effort was made based on data obtained by the author during sea practice on the KM. Egon addresses these issues by establishing a lifeboat maintenance schedule aligned with loading and unloading schedules, distributing tasks among crew members, conducting regular safety meetings, and maintaining lifeboats in accordance with applicable SOPs. These SOPs are also conducted to ensure there are no issues during drills or emergencies. With these efforts, it is hoped that the lifeboats onboard the KM. Egon will be better maintained, minimizing damage or problems during operation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya kinerja pegawai dalam menunjang keberhasilan organisasi, khususnya dalam lembaga pelayanan seperti CU Harapan Kita. Namun, dalam praktiknya masih ditemukan berbagai permasalahan, seperti kurang optimalnya kemampuan pegawai dalam mengelola emosi ketika menghadapi tekanan kerja serta belum efektifnya pengelolaan waktu yang berdampak pada keterlambatan penyelesaian tugas dan penurunan produktivitas. Kondisi ini menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan antara tuntutan kinerja dan kemampuan individu dalam mengelola aspek emosional dan waktu kerja. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kecerdasan emosional dan manajemen waktu terhadap kinerja pegawai di CU Harapan Kita. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap lima orang pegawai sebagai responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosional berperan dalam membantu pegawai mengendalikan emosi, menjaga hubungan kerja, serta menghadapi tekanan kerja secara profesional. Sementara itu, manajemen waktu membantu pegawai dalam mengatur prioritas, meningkatkan kedisiplinan, serta menyelesaikan pekerjaan secara tepat waktu dan efisien. Selain itu, kedua aspek tersebut saling berkaitan dalam mendukung kinerja pegawai, di mana kemampuan mengelola emosi turut mempengaruhi efektivitas pengelolaan waktu. Dengan demikian, kecerdasan emosional dan manajemen waktu menjadi faktor penting dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai secara optimal.

Abstract

Melalui pendekatan studi pustaka, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pengaruh permainan Mobile Legends terhadap minat belajar siswa sekolah dasar. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa intensitas bermain yang berlebihan dapat menurunkan fokus dan semangat belajar siswa, serta membuat mereka cenderung mengabaikan tanggung jawab akademis. Sebaliknya, beberapa dampak positif turut dicatat, seperti peningkatan literasi teknologi dan kemampuan berpikir taktis. Permainan digital, jika diposisikan secara edukatif, dapat menjadi alat yang mendukung proses pembelajaran. Dibutuhkan sinergi antara orang tua dan pendidik untuk membatasi Through a literature study approach, this study explores the influence of Mobile Legends games on elementary school students' learning interests. The results of the analysis show that excessive playing intensity can reduce students' focus and enthusiasm for learning, and make them tend to ignore academic responsibilities. On the other hand, several positive impacts were also noted, such as increased technological literacy and tactical thinking skills. Digital games, if positioned educationally, can be a tool that supports the learning process. Therefore, synergy is needed between parents and educators to limit the duration of playing while utilizing the positive aspects of the game. This study concludes that although Mobile Legends has a cognitive development side, its impact on students' learning interests must still be a primary concern.durasi bermain sekaligus memanfaatkan aspek positif game.

Abstract

There are several theories about the arrival of Islam in Indonesia. The history of Indonesia during the Islamic Middle Ages spans a relatively long period, from the arrival of Islam just before the collapse of the Hindu kingdom of Majapahit to the end of the 19th century. However, this timeframe should not be too strictly defined, as the exact date of Islam’s arrival in Indonesia remains uncertain. The purpose of this paper is to determine the precise point at which Islam entered Indonesia. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Based on the results, it can be seen that the process of Islamization, in the true sense, began in the 15th and 16th centuries, after Islam had grown into a religious and cultural force in the archipelago. However, Islam itself clearly arrived in the country much earlier. This phenomenon is the author’s focus in explaining the arrival of Islam in Indonesia.

Abstract

Passanger ship play an important role in supporting community activities. During voyages, safety equipment is crucial because it must meet the standards set by SOLAS. However, in practice, there are often problems with safety equipment and the skills of the crew themselves. This study aims to identify the factors, constraints, and efforts that influence the skills of crew. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, with the research location on the KM. Sangiang ship. The data used is primary data obtained directly through interviews and observations, while secondary data is obtained from ship documents or related reports on board the ship. This study also employed data collection tecchniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation, as well as triangulation data analysis. The result of this duty indicated that the factors and constraints that affect crew skills are crews understanding of lifeboat lowering procedures, discipline, and lifeboat readiness. Efforts made to overcome obstacles include conducting evaluations after drills and improving communication and coordination among crew members.
