Abstract

The early childhood education unit is an educational unit that provides educational services for early childhood whose role is to provide stimulants that support children's growth and development. Providing quality educational services is not only the responsibility of the principal, but also teachers and parents. All these parties must have effective ways to improve the quality of PAUD services at Dewi Sartika Kindergarten. This research is qualitative research using interview, observation and documentation data collection techniques. Where this approach is taken to explore the information involved to find out the obstacles faced in efforts to improve the quality of early childhood education services. The data analysis technique used is interactive model analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing and testing conclusions. As for testing the validity of the data by triangulating sources and techniques. The result of this research is a strategy to improve the quality of early childhood education services by the Principal of the School, preparing the curriculum contextually, increasing HR competency, programmed supervision and optimizing the role of parents. Teachers understand the stages of child development, plan learning, implement and assess learning authentically and in a culture of reflection. Meanwhile, parents appreciate the teacher's ability to guide students, the cleanliness of the learning environment and the good management of infrastructure. Abstract

Penelitian ini mengusung tema kreativitas dan kolaborasi dalam pengembangan pembelajaran di sekolah dasar melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah literature review yang menggali hasil penelitian dari beberapa jurnal penelitian, serta pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat pada semester 5 jurusan bimbingan konseling Pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini melibatkan analisis temuan dari penelitian sebelumnya yang terdokumentasikan dalam laporan penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data melibatkan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri 105424 desa Bukit Cerim Hilir melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan baru terkait kreativitas dan kolaborasi dalam pengembangan pembelajaran di sekolah dasar, dengan fokus pada implementasi kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat sebagai sarana untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter memang menjadi hal yang sangat penting dalam konteks perkembangan moral dan etika dalam masyarakat, terutama di Indonesia. Pen-didikan karakter bertujuan untuk membentuk generasi muda yang memiliki nilai-nilai moral yang kuat dan dapat membawa perubahan positif dalam masyarakat. Pendidikan karakter pada anak sekolah dasar diimplementasikan melalui berbagai metode dan kegiatan yang fokus pada pengembangan nilai-nilai karakter pada siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan sebuah upaya guna mempersiapkan generasi muda yang mempunyai karakter yang bisa membawa perubahan bangsa Indonesia kedalam bangsa yang lebih baik daripada sebelumnya. Pembahasan ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif bertujuan untuk fokus dalam mendeskripsikan tentang implementasi Pendidikan karakter pada anak sekolah dasar. Implementasi Pendidikan karakter pada anak sekolah dasar dilakukan dengan cara menanamkan nilai keagamaan, melaksanakan budaya literasi, dan melakukan kegiatan ekstrakulikuler sesuai bakat dan minat masing-masing siswa. Dengan mengutamakan cinta tanah air, peduli lingkungan, serta mengangkat nilai mandiri dapat di analisis bahwa implementasi Pendidikan karakter anak sekolah dasar sudah diterapkan dan berjalan dengan baik.

Abstract

This research conducted to find out the effect of the demonstration method on the results of learning mathematics during the online pandemic in the fourth grade of SDN Cilaku, Serang City. The type of research used by the researcher is experimental research, the experimental method with the type of true experiment. The form taken is Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The instrument used in this study was a test in the form of 30 multiple choice questions as well as student and teacher documentation. The student population studied in this study were 81 students with 40 students in class IV A and 41 students in IV B. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the results of cognitive learning in Mathematics before being treated using the demonstration method and tested using a pretest, the average value is 46.76. This value is included in the low category and the majority of students' pretest learning outcomes are 39 students in the low group or can be presented to 45.50%, which is possible because children are less interested in the usual lecture method used by the teacher. Meanwhile, after being treated using the demonstration method and doing a posttest, it can be seen that the average value changed to 73.82, and this is included in the fairly high category. The largest value is 100 (very high category). And the lowest value is 45.00 (very low category). The majority of students' posttest learning outcomes are in the high category, which is 45% or as many as 19 students. So it can be concluded that this research has the effect of using the demonstration method on learning outcomes of Mathematics in the material of flat shapes in fourth grade students of SDIT Insantama Cilegon because it has an increase in the value of learning outcomes as much as 70%.

Abstract

This research investigates the influence of parenting styles on the formation of children's character in the era of the Strawberry Generation. The Strawberry Generation refers to a group of young people considered more susceptible to emotional stress and lacking resilience in facing life challenges. In this context, the role of parenting styles becomes a determining factor in shaping children’s character. The study was conducted through literature reviews. The analysis that shaped the results of this research is expected to provide a profound understanding of the relationship between parenting styles and children’s character in the context of the Strawberry Generation era. The findings of this research can guide parents, educators, and practitioners in developing more effective parenting strategies to assist in the formation of children's character. Moreover, this research contributes to our understanding of the factors shaping the specific characteristics of the younger generation in this turbulent era

Abstract

This article aims to elaborate and reveal the importance of character education at the elementary school level in the 21st century. The main issue discussed in this article is character education as a unique national identity that is inherited and the formation of habits in the midst of 21st century digital technology. Sources This is obtained from actual data with emphasis on citing articles and journals in which they are published. The literature study in preparing this article is a literature review using a qualitative descriptive method carried out through reading, concluding and developing the data obtained as research material used. Alternative problem solving in this article focuses on the fact that character education cannot only use theory, but requires role models or examples as well as supervision.

Abstract

This research aims to illustrate the role of teachers in enhancing the interpersonal intelligence of early childhood through outdoor learning activities, utilizing a qualitative descriptive research method. The research approach involves participatory observation, in-depth interviews with teachers, and the analysis of curriculum-related documents and outdoor learning activities. The findings indicate that the teacher's role in this context encompasses various aspects significantly contributing to the development of interpersonal intelligence in early childhood. As the primary facilitator, teachers guide children in outdoor activities, foster social interaction, and promote the development of interpersonal relationships. Teachers also play a crucial role in creating an environment supportive of collaborative learning, where children can learn together, share ideas, and overcome challenges collectively. This research highlights the importance of the teacher's role as a social model inspiring and guiding positive behavior in children. Moreover, the research findings can be implemented as a guide for curriculum development and the execution of outdoor learning activities to enhance the aspects of interpersonal intelligence in early childhood. The results of this study are expected to contribute to both practical and theoretical understanding of how this learning approach can be optimally integrated into the context of early childhood education.

Abstract

In the current era of Indonesian education, there are many challenges faced by early childhood educators in implementing the Independent Curriculum. These difficulties include the complexity of designing modules, determining competency indicators, and arranging interesting activities. Through a qualitative descriptive methodology that uses interview methods and document analysis, this research aims to gain insight from educators and administrators. These findings explain the efforts and challenges experienced by educators at the PAUD level in balancing structure and flexibility in teaching materials, establishing holistic competency indicators, and encouraging experiential learning. This research contributes to improving early childhood education practice by providing a deeper understanding of the barriers and opportunities in the context of the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality of problem solving abilities in terms of cognitive load theory in the PBL learning model with a realistic approach. The research design used a one-shot case study of 2 classes, namely the experimental and control classes at Dr. Vocational School. Tipto Semarang. Data collection techniques in research use test, questionnaire, observation, interview and documentation methods. The research results show that Hypothesis 1 shows that the average test results are tcount = 1.871 and ttable = 1.697. So it can be concluded that tcount > ttable, then H0 is rejected, meaning that the average problem-solving ability in terms of cognitive load theory in the PBL learning model with a realistic approach is more than the minimum criterion (70). Hypothesis 2 results of the classical completeness test obtained Zcount = 2.79 and Ztable = 1.64 because Zcount > Ztable then H0 is rejected so it can be concluded that the proportion of problem solving ability in terms of cognitive load theory in the PBL learning model with a realistic approach exceeds 75%. Hypothesis 3: The results of the average difference test calculation show that tcount = 6.483 and ttable = 1.697 because tcount > ttable, so H0 is rejected. So it can be concluded that the average problem-solving ability in terms of cognitive load theory in the PBL learning model with a realistic approach to the experimental class is more than the average problem-solving ability of the control class. Hypothesis 4 is the quality of problem solving abilities in terms of cognitive load theory in the PBL model with an effective realistic approach to increase the results of students' problem solving abilities and based on the results of the analysis of the N-Gain hypothesis test in the medium category which is equal to 0.38293 or if it is rounded up to 0.38 and is included in the medium category.

Abstract

Learning media is a tool that is used as a support for the implementation of learning to learn to learn to learn, ranging from book sources to other media, and researchers also provide learning media in the form of display board media to 4th grade students in SDN Panunggulan 2 as a learning media tool so that learning can run effectively. The display media itself is a medium that can be used to display images such as posters, and other small objects that are three-dimensional with this also as a support for student learning so that students can be used in learning and also seen directly by students. Therefore, researchers provided a media display in the form of this image to the 4th class on the material of ethnic diversity in Indonesia because in the material is still low learning results about VAT material diversity of ethnic groups in Indonesia and.the use of this media aims to help teachers and students in improving learning outcomes. Learning outcomes are changes in students including their behavior in real terms that are done through the teaching and learning process that is in accordance with the learning objectives and with the learning outcomes teachers are able to see the development that has been owned by the student.
