Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the impact of implementing the Teaching at Right Level (TaRL) approach on the learning outcomes of Gowa Grade Inpres Elementary School students with a sample size of 30 students. The method used is classroom action research, which allows details of the implementation process, evaluation of changes, and identification of challenges in an effort to improve the quality of learning. This research was carried out in several cycles, each of which consisted of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. In implementing TaRL, the main focus is to adapt the learning approach to the individual student's level of understanding. Data was collected through classroom observations and assessment of learning outcomes. Preliminary results indicate an increase in student engagement and understanding of the material, as well as the challenges teachers face when adapting traditional teaching methods to TaRL concepts. Support from teachers and schools is very important in the successful implementation of TaRL. It is hoped that this research can deepen understanding of the effectiveness of TaRL in improving student learning outcomes. The practical implication is the importance of providing teaching that is more contextual, responsive to individual student needs, and encourages improvements in the quality of education. The research results showed an increase in student learning outcomes, where learning completeness increased from 40% in cycle I to 83% in cycle II.

Abstract

This research explores the role of office communication as a tool for developing organizational culture within educational institutions. Effective office communication, both formal and informal, serves as a mechanism for disseminating information, building relationships, and aligning organizational vision and mission. The study finds that open and transparent communication enhances trust between leadership and staff, strengthens cohesion among members, and reduces potential conflicts. Constructive feedback through communication also contributes to the professional development of educators, ultimately impacting the quality of education provided. However, challenges such as perception differences and communication skills deficits need to be addressed through appropriate communication technologies and enhanced interpersonal skills. Overall, effective office communication is fundamental in creating a harmonious, productive, and adaptive work environment, supporting the achievement of educational institution goals. Abstract

This research examines the application of business ethics in the management of cooperatives and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and its integration into entrepreneurship education curricula. The findings indicate that many cooperatives and SMEs in Indonesia face challenges in fully implementing business ethics due to a lack of awareness and professional management. However, cooperatives have a greater potential for ethical business practices due to their inherent principles of justice and solidarity. The integration of business ethics into entrepreneurship education has proven effective in increasing ethical awareness among business actors, contributing to the creation of responsible entrepreneurs with strong integrity. The research highlights that cooperatives and SMEs that adopt ethical business practices experience improved consumer trust, better relationships with stakeholders, and increased business sustainability. This study recommends enhancing entrepreneurship education with a focus on ethics, particularly in higher education institutions, to cultivate future entrepreneurs with a strong sense of social responsibility and ethical business conduct. Abstract

This classroom action research aims to understand how differentiated learning is implemented in Grade IV and to improve learning outcomes on the topic of multiplication of whole numbers up to 100 in the Mathematics subject for Grade IV students at SD Inpres Bertingkat Gowa, Gowa Regency. The subjects of this research are 30 students from Grade IV of SD Inpres Bertingkat Gowa. Data collection methods included tests and observation. This classroom action research was conducted in 2 cycles. Each cycle involved planning, action, observation, and reflection phases. The reflection phase aimed to explore alternative strategies for improvement in the next stage. With the application of differentiated learning on figurative language material, there was an increase in students' learning outcomes because differentiated learning allows students to learn according to their preferences and abilities, aligning with their learning profiles, including visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles. The improvement in student learning outcomes in the topic of multiplication of whole numbers up to 100 progressed from the pre-cycle to Cycle I, with the class average score increasing from 50.00 before the cycle to 75.00 in Cycle I, and further rising to 85.00 in Cycle II. The percentage of improvement in learning outcomes was 50% in Cycle I and increased to 70% in Cycle II.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kondisi yang terjadi di UPT SPF SDN Melayu Muhammadiyah yang menunjukkan murid kelas Dasar I memiliki kemampuan membaca permulaan yang rendah oleh karena itu masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: Bagaimanakah Peningkatan Kemampuan Membaca Permulaan dengan Menggunakan Media Permainan Kartu Bergambar Siswa Kelas 1 UPT SPF SDN Melayu Muhammadiyah. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini yaitu: untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan membaca melalui media permainan kartu bergambar siswa kelas I UPT SPF SDN Melayu Muhammadiyah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (Class Action Research) yang terdiri atas dua siklus dimana setiap siklus dilaksanakan sebanyak tiga kali pertemuan. Prosedur penelitian meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan/tindakan, observasi/evaluasi, dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas I UPT SPF SDN Melayu Muhammadiyah sebanyak 11 orang siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus pertama setelah diberikan tindakan dipertemuan pertama dan kedua yaitu nilai rata-rata diperoleh sebesar 69,2. Sedangkan pada siklus kedua setelah diberikan tindakan dipertemuan pertama dan kedua yaitu nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh sebesar 81,3. Ketuntasan belajar siswa dari siklus I sebesar 54,5% dan pada siklus II menjadi sebesar 91,9%, sehingga menyebabkan terjadinya peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas dapat disimpulkan kemampuan membaca permulaan menggunakan kartu bergambar siswa kelas I UPT SPF SDN Melayu Muhammadiyah mengalami peningkatan.

Abstract

This research was motivated by students' low level of activity and very limited understanding of fraction operations, causing students to not be able to equate different denominators. Students' ability to calculate fractional operations, especially operating them, is still very poor for students so that the learning outcomes obtained are still low. Based on the results of initial observations carried out at SDN 060912 Medan Denai, symptoms were found such as: 1) The results of tests on class V students at State Elementary School 060912 Medan Denai obtained facts about the Mathematics learning outcomes of 32 students who apparently reached the KKM set by the school, namely 70. 12 students (39.39%) and those who did not reach the KKM were 20 students (59.4%) with an average score of 67.5. 2) Students tend to get bored when following Mathematics lessons, 3) Students lack curiosity about the lessons taught by the teacher in class, and 4) So far, teachers tend to explain the material, provide example questions and give exercises in a monotonous way. The aim of this research is to increase the activeness and understanding of mathematical learning of arithmetic operations for adding fractions with unlike denominators through the TGT type cooperative learning model in class V students at SDN 060912 Medan Denai. The method used is the classroom action research method (PTK). The research was carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle there were 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. To improve students' mathematics learning outcomes, the TGT type cooperative learning model is used so that the research results for each cycle show an increase in each cycle. In the first cycle of action the level of student learning outcomes reached 30% and in the second cycle of action the learning outcomes achieved by students were 90% learning completeness and had reached the KKM. Applying the TGT type cooperative learning model can improve student learning outcomes regarding the operation of adding fractions with unequal denominators for class V SDN 060912 Medan Denai.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of audio-visual learning media in Pancasila educational learning to improve student learning outcomes in class V SD N 060912 Medan Denai. The focus of this research is the learning outcomes of chapter 1 " application of Pancasila for Indonesian citizens " through formative tests. This research was conducted using the Classroom Action research method which consisted of Pre-Cycle, Cycle 1 and Cycle II. This cycle consists of 4 stages, namely, the planning stage, the action implementation stage, the observation stage, and the reflection stage. This study uses instruments for data collection with learning achievement tests. This research was conducted in class V SD N 060912 Medan Denai with a total of 28 students. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes that were completed in cycle I, which was 68% and cycle II, reaching 86% in the very good category and meeting the completeness criteria. Student activity also increased as seen from increased concentration and focus in participating in learning. It can be concluded that learning Pancasila education on application of Pancasila for Indonesian citizens through the application of audio-visual learning media can increase student learning outcomes.

Abstract

To be successful in learning, interest in learning is one of the things that needs to be instilled in students. Students in class V at SDN 060912 Medan continue to show high interest in learning. Classroom Action Research (CAR) is intended to create active, innovative and creative learning methods that can increase students' interest in mathematics using wordwall media. PTK is carried out in two cycles, with planning, action, observation and reflection activities included in it. The results of the research show that using the Wordwall educational game can increase students' interest in learning in class V at SDN 060912 Medan, as shown by the increase in the percentage of students fulfilling the learning interest indicators. The results of the analysis of students' interest in learning observation sheets showed an increase in students' interest in learning. In cycle I, the percentage was 78% in the good category and 83.6% in the very good category.

Abstract

Basic skills that students must have when they are in elementary school are reading, writing and arithmetic. In basic arithmetic skills, students must be able to master addition skills and number values. The purpose of this study was to improve students' numeracy skills in summative arithmetic operations. This research method uses PTK implemented at SDN Gading 5 Surabaya. The use of Board game media can improve students' addition and place value skills for grade II Elementary School students. This Classroom Action Research (PTK) was conducted at SD Negeri Gading V Surabaya in the odd semester of the 2024/2025 school year. The subjects in this study were grade II C students, consisting of 39 students, namely 17 male and 22 female students. The object of the study was board game media in Mathematics. The researcher carried out 5 learning cycles consisting of pre-cycles and 4 daily cycles. The implementation of Classroom Action Research was carried out in each cycle, including: planning, implementing actions, observation, and reflection. The instruments used in this study were initial test questions and final test questions. The results of the study in each cycle showed an increase in learning outcomes from the pre-cycle to the fourth cycle. Each group gave satisfactory final results. In the Pre-Cycle, the percentage of student learning completion reached 56%, in Cycle I it reached 69%, in Cycle II it reached 74%, in Cycle III it reached 79%, in Cycle IV it reached 92%. In conclusion, the application of board games media improved students' abilities, understanding and motivation in learning Mathematics, especially in the ability to add and determine the place value of numbers.

Abstract

Kemampuan bernalar adalah kemampuan menyajikan pernyataan matematika melalui lisan maupun gambar, menentukan pola, menyusun argumen, dan menarik kesimpulan. Etnomatematika merupakan matematika yang mengabungkan dengan budaya setempat. Etnomatematika dalam penelitian ini adalah benteng pendem yang disajikan dalam soal tes kemampuan bernalar tentang pencerminan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kemampuan bernalar siswa SD dalam menyelesaikan masalah pencerminan berbasis etnomatematika benteng pendem berdasarkan kemampuan awal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas V SD Negeri Pitu 2. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen lembar tes kemampuan bernalar matematis yaitu lembar soal pertama dan lembar soal kedua dan pedoman wawancara. Analisis data menggunakan triangulasi waktu. Adapun indikator bernalar yaitu (1) kemampuan menyajikan pernyataan matematika melalui lisan maupun gambar, (2) kemampuan menentukan pola, (3) kemampuan menyusun argumen, (4) kemampuan menarik kesimpulan. Kesimpulan hasil dari penelitian ini (1) siswa yang mempunyai kemampuan awal matematika tinggi memenuhi keempat indikator bernalar, (2) siswa yang mempunyai kemampuan awal matematika sedang memenuhi kedua indikator bernalar yakni kemampuan menyajikan pernyataan matematika melalui lisan maupun gambar dankemampuan menentukan pola, (3) siswa yang mempunyai kemampuan awal matematika rendah tidak memenuhi keempat indikator bernalar.
