Abstract

This research analyzes the relationship between the meanings of synonyms and antonyms in a collection of poems entitled "The One That Was Smoking in Your Face" by Herwan FR. This relaxation of meaning can take the form of changes in opposite meanings (antonyms), similarities (synonyms), double meanings (polysemy), or differences in meaning (homonyms). Antonyms are relationships between words that are contradictory or opposite in meaning. Meanwhile, synonyms are meaning relationships between words, phrases or sentences that have the same or similar meaning, even though the forms are different. This research was carried out using a qualitative research method, this method was carried out by producing descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words in the collection of poems that have always been sitting in front of you. The words included in a line of poetry that select synonymous and antonymous relationships are used as data studied by researchers. In this research, researchers used three techniques, namely library techniques, listening techniques, and note-taking techniques. The data obtained is then processed by recording and selecting words that contain antonym and synonym meaning relationships. Herwan FR's poetry collection "The One Who Was Sitting Smoking in Front of You" explores contemplative themes that reflect social phenomena and everyday life. This book functions as a reflection and invitation to think further about human feelings and the environmental conditions around us. Keywords: Meaning Relations, Antonyms, Synonyms

Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes in the Pancasila Education subject through the application of the Pancasila Monopoly learning media. This learning media was developed as an interactive and interesting tool for students, with the hope of increasing their motivation and understanding of Pancasila material. The research method used was classroom action research (PTK) which was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were class V students at SDN Gading V Surabaya, totaling 15 girls and 17 boys. The research results in cycle I were 62%, increasing to 31% in cycle II to 93%. Then the increase in learning motivation was shown by obtaining a percentage increase in students' learning motivation in the pre-cycle, which was originally 44%, increasing in cycle I by 18% to 62% and experiencing an increase of 31% in cycle II to 93%. Based on the research results, the application of the Pancasila Monopoly learning media in the Pancasila Education subject can increase the learning motivation of class V students at SDN Gading V Surabaya

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the application of ice cream stick learning media can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes in multiplication material in grade II students of SD Negeri 59 Palembang. This research uses an experimental method, namely True Experiment Design. With Posttest-Only Control Design. The sample in this study was class IIA and IIB students totaling 55 students, a random sampling technique was taken. Based on the results of the hypothesis test conducted by this researcher using the t-test of two free samples (Independent sample t-test) obtained tcount results of 5.075 and ttable value = 1.674 with α = 0.05 and df = 5, then tcalculate > ttable so that H0 is rejected. From the hypothetical data, it can be concluded that there is an increase in the application of ice cream stick learning media to mathematics learning outcomes of grade II students of SD Negeri 59 Palembang.

Abstract

The problem statement of this research is whether the implementation of PJBL can improve learning outcomes in human organ respiratory materials of students in class V of SDN 3, Bone Raya. The purpose of this research is to improve the learning outcomes in human organ respiratory materials of students in class V of SDN 3, Bone Raya, through PJBL model. This is a classroom action research (PTK), using observation, tests, and documentation in collecting the data. The early observation shows that there were 5 out of 14 students (35.71%) who had achieved the Maximum Completion Criteria, while the other 9 (64.29%) had not. After cycle was applied, students who completed the criteria had reached to 42.86%, then continued to cycle II with the result of 85.71%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of students in class V of SDN 3 of Bone Raya had improved.

Abstract

This research aims to implement the application of lesson study using Wordwall media in improving the quality of mathematics learning for grade 6 students. Learning methods in elementary schools are often still teacher-centred, so students tend to memorize without understanding the context. Lesson study is implemented through four stages: planning (plan), implementation (do), observation (see), and reflection (act). The research used a qualitative approach with a case study type, involving 10 grade 6 students as subjects. At the planning stage, the teacher prepares a Wordwall-based learning tool. The do stage involves implementing interactive learning. Observation (see) is carried out to observe student activities, while the reflection (action) stage is used to understand and improve learning strategies. The research results show a significant increase in students' understanding of mathematical concepts, which is reflected in the average score which continues to increase in each cycle. Apart from that, students' active participation in discussions and collaboration has also increased. Implementing Wordwall helps create a more creative and innovative learning atmosphere, so that students are more motivated to learn. Thus, Lesson Study based on Wordwall media is effective in improving the quality of mathematics learning, both in terms of understanding concepts and active student involvement. Abstract

Tiktok based video learning media is a video that is in the short duration Tiktog application to help students understand the material of cultural diversity in Indonesia on IPS subjects in primary school. The aim of this research is to produce new products in the field of education, in particular learning media for IPS subjects of grade IV in SD, in which students require video clip media created based on digital media interest analysis through design-based research methods (DBR). Media development covers steps from media analysis to media validation. Validation is carried out to students of class IV SDN Sumurpanggang 2. The result can be concluded that the developed digital media, i.e. video touch, is worthy to be used as the digital media that teachers can choose in social science subjects.

Abstract

This research aims to apply the cooperative integrated reading and composition (CIRC) model to improve the learning outcomes of class III students at SDN 204 Kuamang in mathematics subjects. Applying this model aims to improve students' mathematical learning outcomes. This type of research is experimental research, in this research a quantitative approach is carried out in the form of a pre-experimental design type one group pretest-posttest design (initial test and single group final test). Before implementing the CIRC model, the teacher first gives pretest questions which aim to compare before and after implementing the model. After being given pretest questions, the CIRC model is applied which aims to improve students' mathematical learning outcomes. After applying the model, they move on to the final phase, namely giving posttest questions which aim to see whether there is an influence before and after implementing the (CIRC) model. After comparing the pretest and posttest scores, it was found that the pretest scores got an overall average score of 47.45, while the posttest scores got an average score of 90.90. So it can be concluded that the implementation of the cooperative integrated reading and composition (CIRC) model was declared successful because students' scores increased significantly after implementing this model.

Abstract

Learning mathematic is often faced with low student participation and unsatisfactory learning outcomes, especially when the teaching methods used are not interactive. One innovative solution to address this issue is by utilizing educational technology, such as the Plickers application, which allows real time interaction and provides immediate feedback to students. This study aims to evaluate the impact of using Plickers on learning outcomes and student perceptions in mathematics learning in grade VI at SDN Karah 1 Surabaya. Using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method with one cycle, this study involved a pretest, the implementation of Plickers, a posttest, and student interviews. The results showed a significant increase in the students' average scores, from 48.46 in the pretest to 85.38 in the posttest. Interviews also revealed that students felt more engaged and interested during lessons using Plickers, despite some technical difficulties. This study concludes that Plickers is effective in improving learning outcomes and student participation in mathematics learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the dynamics of cross-community motorcycle gang relationships that have an impact on the lives of people in Pulo Brayan City, West Medan District, Medan City. Motorcycle gangs are defined as a group of teenagers whose members are always together regularly, and they determine their own membership criteria. The actions of motorcycle gangs themselves refer to teenage acquaintances, because they have symptoms of social illness (pathology) in children that cause deviant behavior. This juvenile delinquency occurs due to various things such as environmental factors, and social relationship factors with the surrounding community. The method used in this study is a qualitative method using a descriptive approach. While the data collection techniques used are observation and interviews. The results of the study show that Based on the results of the research that we have done, the brutal actions carried out by motorcycle gangs will not only cause fear among the community, but can also create material losses and casualties. The activities they often do can be brawls, speeding, fights between rival gangs pioneered by the leader.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the use of Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) as educational media in the Science and Social Studies (IPAS) subjects at the elementary school level. VR and AR are considered technologies that can enhance students' learning experiences by providing interactive visualizations and immersive learning environments. These media allow students to better understand abstract concepts in IPAS through in-depth visual simulations and explorations. The study utilizes a literature review method, using the keyword "VR/AR media in elementary education." The focus is on the use of VR/AR as learning media for IPAS subjects in elementary schools. Literature sources include articles collected through search engines such as Publish or Perish (POP), VOSviewer, and SINTA, focusing on articles published within the last five years. The research results show that the use of VR and AR in the learning process has a positive impact and can enhance students' learning outcomes and higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) in real-life applications. Therefore, it is recommended that VR and AR be more broadly applied to support more effective and innovative learning in elementary schools.
