Abstract

This research describes the efficacy of Augmented Reality (AR) as a teaching aid to improve elementary school students' reading skills, particularly in letter recognition. Based on statistics showing that Indonesian children's reading skills are below the world average, this research highlights the importance of early reading skill development and the implementation of student-friendly teaching strategies. Through a qualitative examination of AR-based resources that had been approved by media, language, and content experts, this study sought to close the gap between students' digital interests and their reading development needs. As a result, the AR materials were highly effective; media experts rated them highly valid, language experts rated them valid, and content experts rated them highly valid. This suggests that augmented reality (AR) can offer an engaging and fun educational experience that can improve students' reading proficiency and motivation alongside their academic performance. The study also highlights the need for educational programs that integrate conventional and digital approaches, as well as the role of parents in encouraging their children's reading habits. It is suggested that technology be incorporated into the classroom to provide an effective and engaging learning environment for today's students. According to this study, AR has a lot of potential for literacy education, offering new opportunities to improve teaching methods and foster reading interest in young communities. Further research is recommended to investigate the longevity of the impact and use of AR in various educational contexts

Abstract

The problems in this research include the lack of activity, critical thinking, and student learning outcomes. This is because teacher-centered learning is still used and students find it difficult to understand the content of socio-cultural diversity of Indonesian society in PPKn material. To solve this problem, efforts were made through the application of the PINTU learning model which combines the Problem Based Learning, Think Pair Share, and Course Review Horay models. This study aims to improve activity, critical thinking, and student learning outcomes which are carried out using Classroom Action Research (CAR), qualitative and quantitative. The results of the study prove that teacher activity in P1 scored 22, so that it increased significantly from each meeting to get 31 which is categorized as "Very Good" in P4. Then, P1 in student activity 1 reached 8% for the "Less Active" criteria, but this result increased from each meeting until it was categorized as "Very Active" with a percentage of 77% in P4. Meanwhile, P1 in critical thinking skills reached 4% in the "Less Skilled" criteria, but this value increased until P4 so that it was categorized as "Very Skilled" with a percentage of 77%. Then, P1 on classical completeness of student learning outcomes was 31% and 100% on P4 which was categorized as "Complete". The results of the study concluded that the application of the PINTU model can increase teacher activities, student activities, critical thinking skills, and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The aims of this research is to improve students ability in the mathematics subject of sorting and comparing whole numbers in class IV through cooperative learning type TGT (Teams Games Tournament) assisted Wordwall. The research is classroom action research (PTK) which applies 2 cycles. To analyze the data, researcher using quantitative descriptive technique. Subjects of this research are 26 class IV students at SDN Dukuh Kupang V, consist of 12 are boy and 14 girls. The indicator for the success of this research is the percentage of completeness that students must achieve ≥75%. The results show that the learning outcomes in the pre-cycle were less than satisfactory and under the percentage of completeness, the average is 40.38 with a percentage of completeness is 19.23%. After being given action to implement TGT with Wordwall in cycle I, the average learning outcome was 58.46 and the percentage of 57.7%. On the cycle II the average student learning outcome was 77.31 with a completion percentage 80.8%. Based on the results of pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II, can be conclude that the value and percentage of students’ learning completion increased until reached the specified KKTP. It means, the implementation of cooperative learning type TGT assisted by Wordwall is success and give the maximum results.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat keefektifan dan keberhasilan pembelajaran model problem based learning berbantuan media TBL (Treasure box Learning) terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar IPA kelas 4 di SDN Sobrah. Metode penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Manfaat dari penelitian ini yaitu guru dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan media beton sebagai sarana mereka belajar dan hasilnya sangat memuaskan. Jumlah siswa kelas 4 sebanyak 23 orang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus yang mana tahapannya berupa Perencanaan, Pelaksanaan, Evaluasi dan Refleksi. Peneliti melaksanakan perlakuan pada Siklus I dengan menggunakan video pembelajaran dan peneliti memberikan perlakuan pada siklus 2 dengan menggunakan media Treasure Box Learning dan hasil yang diperoleh peneliti sangat signifikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan sebesar 18% dari siklus I 67% dan siklus II 85% dan dengan hasil tersebut maka penelitian ini dapat dikatakan berhasil. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality of facilities and infrastructure at Harapan Bangkit Mandiri Special School and its influence on the learning of students with special needs. Using qualitative descriptive methods, data were obtained through direct observation and interviews with teachers and school staff. The results of the study indicate that although this special school has basic facilities such as classrooms, sports fields, and practice rooms, the existing facilities and infrastructure are still limited and require improvement. Some inadequate facilities, such as broken study tables and chairs, and limited educational aids, affect the quality of student learning, especially for those who need visual or audio aids. These limitations have a direct impact on the effectiveness of learning, especially for deaf and autistic students who need a visual approach. However, teachers at this school innovate by utilizing existing resources, even though this increases their workload. This study concludes that improving better facilities and infrastructure will improve the quality of learning and create a more inclusive and effective learning environment, so that students with special needs can learn optimally and achieve their potential. Keywords: Quality of infrastructure, Special Schools, Learning for students with special needs Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kualitas sarana dan prasarana di Sekolah Luar Biasa Harapan Bangkit Mandiri dan pengaruhnya terhadap pembelajaran siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, data diperoleh melalui observasi langsung dan wawancara dengan guru serta staf sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun SLB ini memiliki fasilitas dasar seperti ruang kelas, lapangan olahraga, dan ruang praktik, sarana dan prasarana yang ada masih terbatas dan memerlukan perbaikan. Beberapa fasilitas yang kurang memadai, seperti meja dan kursi belajar yang rusak, serta alat bantu pendidikan yang terbatas, memengaruhi kualitas pembelajaran siswa, terutama bagi mereka yang membutuhkan alat bantu visual atau audio. Keterbatasan ini berdampak langsung pada efektivitas pembelajaran, khususnya bagi siswa tunarungu dan siswa autis yang membutuhkan pendekatan visual. Meskipun demikian, guru-guru di sekolah ini berinovasi dengan memanfaatkan sumber daya yang ada, meskipun hal ini menambah beban kerja mereka. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa perbaikan sarana dan prasarana yang lebih baik akan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih inklusif dan efektif, sehingga siswa berkebutuhan khusus dapat belajar dengan optimal dan meraih potensi mereka. Abstract

Education is a crucial foundation in determining the future of a nation, and students' enthusiasm for learning is a vital component in the learning process. A strong spirit not only improves academic results but also fosters a continuous interest in learning. With the development of information and communication technology, interactive learning media has become an important tool to encourage students' learning enthusiasm. This medium functions as an assistive technology that supports students in the learning process, personal development, and assessment of their abilities. By combining multimedia elements and interaction, this learning media offers an engaging learning experience that aligns with the characteristics of the digital generation. The method applied in this research is a literature review, which collects and analyzes various scientific references regarding interactive learning media. The research results show that the utilization of various types of media, such as interactive games, applications based on Lectora Inspire, and augmented reality-based media, can enhance students' learning motivation by creating engaging and interactive learning experiences. Interactive learning media not only capture students' attention but also stimulate their participation in the learning process. Thus, interactive learning media can be an effective solution in enhancing students' enthusiasm and learning outcomes, as well as helping them understand the material better.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to investigate the application of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model combined with Question Card media to improve student learning outcomes in mathematics. The study was conducted at UPTD SDN 190 Barru, focusing on 15 fourth-grade students. Initial observations revealed that most students struggled with understanding mathematics, particularly in flat shapes, due to monotonous teaching methods and low student motivation. The TGT model, known for its cooperative nature and competitive elements, was implemented to enhance student engagement and motivation. Question Card media, which stimulates active learning through questions and visuals, was used to complement the TGT model. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) followed a four-stage process: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results showed that after implementing the TGT model with Question Card media in the first cycle, 53.3% of students achieved the minimum completeness criteria (KKM), and after the second cycle, 86.7% of students achieved KKM. The study concludes that the combination of TGT and Question Card media significantly improves student learning outcomes in mathematics.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of sixth-grade students at UPTD SDN 190 Barru on the Solar System material through the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by audio-visual media. The research was conducted in two cycles using a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. The study involved 12 students, with 6 male and 6 female participants. Pre-tests and post-tests were administered to evaluate student performance before and after the intervention. In the pre-test, the average class score was 54.2, and no student achieved the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) of 75. After the PBL model with audio-visual media was applied in Cycle I, the average score increased to 75, and 50% of the students met the KKM. In Cycle II, the use of more interactive audiovisual media and structured group discussions resulted in a significant improvement, with the average score rising to 87, and 100% of the students achieved the KKM. The findings suggest that PBL, supported by audio-visual media, significantly enhances student engagement and learning outcomes. This approach is effective in addressing the challenges faced by students in understanding abstract science concepts like the Solar System

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low mathematics learning outcomes of grade VI students of UPTD SDN 190 Barru on fractional materials, where 67% of students have not reached the Minimum Negligence Criteria (KKM) set at 75. The purpose of this study is to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by quizzes. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method which is carried out in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were 12 grade VI students. The results showed a significant improvement in student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II, with classical completeness increasing from 60% to 88%. The PBL model assisted by quizzes has been proven to be effective in improving students' understanding of concepts and learning outcomes on fractional materials

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the importance of facilities and infrastructure management in improving the quality of learning in primary schools. Facilities and infrastructure include various facilities and tools that support learning, such as classrooms, libraries, laboratories and educational media. With good management, facilities and infrastructure can create a comfortable and supportive learning environment for students and teachers. The method used in this research is a literature study, which aims to collect information from various relevant sources. The findings of this study show that efficient management of facilities and infrastructure has a major contribution in improving learning effectiveness. With proper management, the quality of learning can be improved through the provision of adequate and well-maintained facilities. Therefore, investing in the development and maintenance of educational facilities and infrastructure is an important step towards achieving the goal of quality education. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pentingnya pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Sarana dan prasarana meliputi berbagai fasilitas dan alat yang mendukung jalannya pembelajaran, seperti ruang kelas, perpustakaan, laboratorium, dan media pendidikan. Dengan manajemen yang baik, sarana dan prasarana dapat menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang nyaman dan mendukung bagi siswa serta guru. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah studi pustaka, yang bertujuan untuk mengumpulkan informasi dari berbagai sumber yang relevan. Temuan dari studi ini menunjukkan bahwa manajemen sarana dan prasarana yang efisien memiliki kontribusi besar dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran. Dengan pengelolaan yang tepat, kualitas pembelajaran dapat meningkat melalui penyediaan fasilitas yang memadai dan terawat. Oleh karena itu, investasi dalam pengembangan serta pemeliharaan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan adalah langkah penting untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang berkualitas.
