Abstract

This study used a quasi-experimental research type (quasi-experimental) with a 2 x 2 factorial design. The research sample was taken by cluster random sampling where one group was treated with the VCT learning model with a sample size of 50 people and one group was treated with the DI learning model with the number of a sample of 51 people. The data collection instruments used were Civics learning outcomes test and learning style questionnaire. The results of hypothesis testing conclude that: 1) There is an influence of the interaction between the learning model and student learning styles on learning outcomes, 2) the learning outcomes of students who have a reflector learning style learned with the VCT learning model are higher than those taught with the DI learning model.

Abstract

Blood group is not only as a complement of identity card, but also is required in emergency, such as in accident where people need blood transfusion. Additionally, bloodgroup is important to know due to the fact that there are some genetic disorders caused byblood type. Golden age of a kid is under two years old. However, stunting at a kid underfive years old can cause many growth disorders, including cognitive and motor growth.Therefore, nutrition intake in food is important to be concerned in order to optimize thekid’s growth. Baitul Izzah was one of Integrated Islamic (IT) kindergartens in BengkuluCity. This school had three A Classes, one Pre-School Class (PAUD), and nine B Classesin which each of them consisted of twenty five pupils and two teachers. The objective ofthis dedication is to know the pupils’ nutritional status at the school so that parents canknow their kid’s growth. Besides, this dedication aims to give counseling about how towash hands correctly in which we know that washing hands before eating or after doingactivities will decrease the risk of communicable diseases like wormy disease andinfluenza. This activity was accomplished on August 16, 2014. It was followed by twoclasses at Kindergarten B which consisted of 46 pupils and accompanied by the class teacher. Based on IMT (Body Mass Index), it was found that there were 18 pupils withnormal nutritional status, 19 pupils were obesity, 2 pupils were underweight and 7 pupilswere overweight. From the blood group checkup, it was found that all of the pupils hadrhesus + with various blood groups. Furthermore, the counseling about how to washhands correctly and good foods was accomplished. From the counseling, it was found thatthe pupils of the kindergarten were very enthusiastic. Following the counseling, directpractice about washing hands correctly was also conducted as well as giving nutritionalfood like mung bean porridge and milk, and souvenirs to the school at the end. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze how to inculcate civic values through scouting extracurricular activities. Students must have knowledge regarding principles and attitudes that involve commitment to the state, active participation in community life, and respect for rights and responsibilities as citizens. There are many ways or efforts that can be made to instill citizenship values in students, one of the steps taken by the teacher is by having extracurricular activities. Extracurricular programs are various additional activities carried out inside and outside the classroom which take place after school hours. As one of the extracurriculars in the 2013 curriculum, Scouting is here with the aim of forming a personality that is characterized, tough, independent, and has a human spirit. This study aims to determine whether scouting extracurricular activities can instill citizenship values. The research subjects were grade 5 students at SDN 101786 Helvetia. The method used in this research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The results of the study show that the inculcation of civic values can be carried out through scouting extracurricular activities. With the existence of scouting education activities based on the tri satya and dasa darma scouts, little by little the attitudes and behavior of students (Scouting members) begin to progress progressively and show students are able to apply civic values.Keywords: Cultivating Citizenship Values, Scouting ExtracurricularsAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana tentang penanaman nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan. Siswa harus memiliki pengetahuan terkait prinsip-prinsip dan sikap-sikap yang melibatkan komitmen terhadap negara, partisipasi aktif dalam kehidupan masyarakat, dan penghormatan terhadap hak dan tanggung jawab sebagai warga negara. Banyak cara atau upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk menanamkan nilai kewarganegaraan kepada para siswa, salah satu langkah yang dilakukan guru ialah dengan adanya kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Program ekstrakurikuler merupakan berbagai kegiatan tambahan yang dilakukan di dalam dan di luar kelas yang berlangsung setelah jam sekolah. Sebagai salah satu ekstrakurikuler dalam kurikulum 2013, Pramuka hadir dengan tujuan untuk membentuk kepribadian yang berkarakter, tangguh, mandiri, serta memiliki semangat kemanusiaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kegiatan ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan dapat menanamkan nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas 5 SDN 101786 Helvetia. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penanaman nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan dapat dilakukan melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler kepramukaan. Dengan adanya kegiatan pendidikan kepramukaan berdasarkan tri satya dan dasa darma pramuka, sedikit demi sedikit sikap serta perilaku siswa (anggota Pramuka) mulai mengalami kemajuan secara progresif dan menunjukkan siswa mampu menerapkan nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan. Kata Kunci: Penanaman Nilai-nilai Kewarganegaraan, Ekstrakurikuler Kepramukaan.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the role of education in forming children's awareness. Becoming civically aware is increasingly important in complex modern societies, where children need to understand their rights, obligations and responsibilities as citizens. This research uses interview methods with teachers and students. The research results show that citizenship education has an important role in forming children's awareness. Through a relevant curriculum and interactive learning approach, children can learn about the values of democracy, pluralism, tolerance and human rights. Citizenship education also helps children understand their role in building a just and sustainable society. Apart from that, this research also identified several challenges faced in implementing citizenship education, such as a lack of resources and training for teachers, as well as differences in political views that exist in society. Therefore, recommendations are given to strengthen the role of citizenship education through the development of a more inclusive curriculum and better training for teachers. Thus, this research confirms that citizenship education has a significant role in forming children's awareness of their rights, obligations and responsibilities as active citizens and participants in the development of society and the country.

Abstract

Digital transformation in education has become a significant phenomenon in the era of disruption. This research discusses the challenges and opportunities that digital transformation in the disruption era provides for education. The results show that digital transformation can help improve the quality of education by utilizing digital technology in the learning process. In addition, digital transformation also helps improve the accessibility of education, facilitate the teaching and learning process, and improve the overall quality of education. In the future, digital transformation is expected to continue to increase the role of technology in education. Teachers and students must continue to adapt to technological developments and utilize technology to improve the quality of education. In synthesis, digital transformation in education has great potential in improving the quality of education and preparing students for a better future.

Abstract

Teacher professional development in the digital era is a complex challenge influenced by various interrelated factors. This study aims to analyze the main factors that influence the development of teachers' professional competencies in a digital context. Digital technologies, including internet access, hardware, software, and online learning platforms, are key elements in improving teachers' competencies. Training and professional development that emphasizes the use of technology in learning is essential to prepare teachers for these changes. Support from school leadership and government through policies, programs and incentives also play an important role in supporting teachers to develop digital skills. Adaptive and flexible curricula enable the integration of technology in teaching, while collaboration between schools, teachers, parents and communities creates a supportive environment for teachers' professional development. Teachers' intrinsic motivation to continuously learn and adapt to changes in technology and pedagogy is influential. With good management of these factors, the quality of teaching and student learning outcomes can improve, as well as advance the teaching profession in the digital era.

Abstract

Education is an effort carried out by the government to educate society and advance the nation. Without professional teaching resources, the quality of education will not improve. The aim of this research is to determine the level of professionalism of teachers through professional organizations in achieving quality education, and obstacles to community development. A professional teacher/instructor cannot only be responsible for teaching materials in his field of knowledge, a professional teacher must have a broad understanding /in depth about human nature and society. The teaching profession has various professional attributes, one of which is the professional teacher organization, which was created to ensure the teaching profession can play a maximum role in the educational process and the quality of education. Abstract

The code of ethics is a standard of teacher behavior that aims in general to position teachers as teachers and a profession that is honorable, noble, and dignified. At this time, what often happens in the world of education, especially in schools, there are still educators or teachers who violate the code of ethics who do not show their professionalism in teaching. The method that the author uses in this research is a qualitative method using literature study, namely conducting research by collecting information from books and journals. Abstract

Law is a rule of rules made to regulate every behavior of the community so as not to carry out deviant activities. One of the actions that deviate from the norms of human life association is social problems, namely problems that occur in society where the perpetrators and victims are the people themselves. One of the deviant actions from the community is the crime of beheading where this beheading began to be rife in the Medan city area. The problem that has recently paraded the streets is often termed Begal. This begal is one of the street crimes, which has recently received serious attention from the public and law enforcement officials. This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative research and using direct interview techniques to police investigators for beheading crimes. The results showed that from several incidents that were successfully revealed by the police, data could be obtained that the perpetrators of this begal crime came from families with low economic and there was no relationship between low punishment for beheading perpetrators to the increase in beheading cases because the legal sanctions given are aimed at providing accountability for the acts resulting from crimes committed by someone

Abstract

This research aims to improve learning outcomes in Civics subjects through the use of Quizizz media in class X at SMK N 1 Percut Sei Tuan. The research method used is classroom action research which is carried out in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this research were class X students of SMK N 1 Percut Sei Tuan. The data collection methods used were tests, observations and interviews. The research results show that the use of Quizizz media can significantly improve learning outcomes in Civics subjects. The results of this study show a significant increase in the learning outcomes of students who use Quizizz media compared to the control group. Apart from that, the use of Quizizz media also increases students' interest in learning and provides an interactive and fun learning experience. These findings indicate that the use of Quizizz media can be an effective alternative in improving learning outcomes in Civics subjects in vocational high schools.
