Abstract

Globalization has had a significant impact on education, including Islamic education, with challenges such as the digitalization of learning, the influence of global culture, and changes in 21st century skills needs. This research aims to analyze these challenges from an Islamic perspective, identifying strategies to maintain Islamic values ​​while facing the flow of globalization. The method used is qualitative library research with descriptive-analytic analysis of literature related to Islamic education and globalization. Islamic education is faced with great challenges in maintaining religious identity and moral values ​​amidst cultural and technological influences that conflict with Islamic teachings. For this reason, Islamic education needs to play an active role in maintaining Islamic identity, affirming understanding of Islamic values, and forming the character of students who are intellectually intelligent and have noble morals. Islamic education must be responsive to changing times, including technological advances and the challenges of multiculturalism, by integrating digital literacy and inclusive education. The basic principles of Islamic education such as piety, justice, morality and knowledge must be maintained in order to create individuals who are balanced between worldly and spiritual aspects. The strategies needed include revitalizing the role of education, curriculum innovation, as well as strengthening digital literacy and character education based on Islamic values. In this case, Islamic education must be able to adapt to current developments without sacrificing the essence of Islamic teachings, creating a generation that is intellectually competent and strong in moral and spiritual integrity.

Abstract

Language and cognitive development is the main foundation in children's learning and social interaction processes. This research explores the contribution of education and environment to language and cognitive development, and offers strategic recommendations for optimizing both factors. This research uses the literature study method to collect secondary data from various relevant sources, such as journals, books and proceedings. The analysis process is carried out in three stages: (1) organizing the literature based on relevant themes, (2) synthesizing information to find connections between the literature, and (3) identifying important data to produce in-depth conclusions about the role of education and the environment in language development and cognition child. This research identifies the significant role of formal education and the family environment in supporting children's language and cognitive development. Findings showed that a curriculum involving language stimulation and cognitive activities significantly improved children's receptive and expressive language abilities. In addition, social interactions with parents, peers, and teachers have been proven to enrich children's cognitive and linguistic development. However, obstacles such as lack of access to quality education, an environment that lacks stimulation, and the impact of uncontrolled use of technology can hinder this development process. This research suggests a collaborative approach between educational institutions, families and communities to create a learning environment that supports children's development in a comprehensive and sustainable manner.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effect of dhuha prayer habituation on studentlearning discipline at MIN 2 Palangka Raya City. Dhuha prayer, as a sunnah worshipperformed in the morning, has become part of the school routine which is expectedto shape students' disciplinary character in terms of punctuality, responsibility, andconsistency in learning. This type of research is qualitative using observation,interview, and documentation study approaches. Data were collected through directobservation of the implementation of dhuha prayer and student learning behavior,interviews with teachers and students, and document analysis related to schoolpolicies regarding worship habituation. The results showed that the habituation ofdhuha prayer has a significant influence on student discipline. Students whoroutinely perform dhuha prayer tend to show improvement in terms of on-timeattendance, consistent completion of school assignments, and increased focusduring the learning process. The conclusion of this study is that the habituation ofdhuha prayer at MIN 2 Palangka Raya City can be one of the effective methods inimproving student learning discipline, as well as forming religious and responsiblecharacters

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keberagaman agama di Desa Kertajaya, Kecamatan Panawangan, Kabupaten Ciamis, yang terdiri dari Islam, Kristen Khatolik, Kristen Protestan dan Sunda Wiwitan. Pertanyaan utama penelitian adalah bagaimana strategi masyarakat dalam menjaga kerukunan di tengah perbedaan keyakinan. Berbeda dengan penelitian sebelumnya yang menekankan aspek teologis, penelitian ini berfokus pada praktik sosial dan faktor pendukung kerukunan di tingkat desa. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan studi kasus, melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap kepala desa, tokoh agama, perangkat desa, dan warga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kerukunan diwujudkan melalui nilai toleransi, kerja sama, kebangsaan, dan kemanusiaan. Faktor pendukung utama meliputi peran tokoh agama, budaya gotong royong, dan kebijakan desa yang inklusif, Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa kerukunan dapat dibangun melalui kebijakan desa dan tindakan sederhana sehari-hari.

Abstract

The advancement of the educational system to keep pace with the progress of the timeswhether in cultural, societal, knowledge, or technological aspectsrequires changes in Indonesia's curriculum. Therefore, teachers' readiness is key to successfully implementing the curriculum. This study aims to assess the readiness of elementary school teachers in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum specifically for Social Studies in Grade IV at SDN 2 Kalimanah Wetan. The study evaluates teachers' cognitive, physical, psychological, and financial readiness using observation, interviews, and documentation. A qualitative approach with a phenomenological method was used. Data were collected through interviews with the principal, Grade IV teachers, and seven Grade IV students regarding their readiness to implement the Merdeka Curriculum. The findings indicate that Grade IV teachers understand the concepts and principles of the Merdeka Curriculum. This is evidenced by the preparation of teaching modules, Learning Objectives (CP), and Learning Activity Programs (ATP) that align with the characteristics of the Merdeka Curriculum. Social Studies teaching has also implemented differentiated learning.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of good governance principles in public services at the Balaraja District Office, Tangerang Regency. The core principles of good governance focused on in this study are accountability, transparency, participation, and the rule of law. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method using interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection techniques. The findings indicate that the Balaraja District Office has implemented accountability through increased public trust in its services. Transparency is reflected in the availability of information via the official website and direct services. Public participation is facilitated through complaint channels and joint evaluation forums. Meanwhile, the rule of law is enforced through adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and the application of sanctions for violations. Although there are shortcomings, such as limited information on the website, public service delivery has generally been carried out effectively. The implementation of these four principles supports the development of higher quality, accountable, and citizen-oriented public services. This research is expected to serve as an academic reference in the study of local governance systems and public service delivery.

Abstract

This study falls under the category of Classroom Action Research (CAR) and aimsto improve students' mathematics learning outcomes through the use of concreteinstructional media. The subjects of this research were the fifth-grade students ofclass V-A at UPT SPF SD Negeri 22 Palu, totaling 22 students, consisting of 14 girlsand 8 boys. The data collection technique used was a test, intended to measure thelevel of students' learning achievement. Based on the research findings, there wasan improvement in learning mastery from the pre-action stage to the second cycle.In the pre-action stage, 14 students, or 63.6%, achieved learning mastery. Thisnumber increased to 17 students (77.3%) in the first cycle and rose again to 19students (86.4%) in the second cycle. These results indicate that the use of concreteinstructional media is effective in enhancing mathematics learning outcomes forfifth-grade students at UPT SPF SD Negeri 22 Palu.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of service quality and price perception on consumer purchasing decisions at Pandawa Flower Stand. The problem raised in this study focuses on how service quality and price perception partially or simultaneously influence purchasing decisions. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with an ex post facto approach. This study uses a sampling technique that is purposive sampling. The sample used was 95 respondents who were consumers of Pandawa Flower Stand, and the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software version 27. The results of the study show that partially, service quality has a significant effect on purchasing decisions, with a calculated t value of 11.095 and a significance of 0.001 <0.05. Likewise, price perception also has a significant effect on purchasing decisions, with a calculated t value of 7.248 and a significance of 0.001 <0.05. Simultaneously, service quality and price perception have a significant effect on purchasing decisions with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05 and a coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square) of 0.666, which means that 66.6% of purchasing decisions can be explained by these two variables. The conclusion of this study is that service quality and price perception have an important role in encouraging consumers to make purchases at Pandawa Flower Stand. Therefore, improving service quality and appropriate pricing strategies need to be continuously carried out to maintain and improve consumer purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students' perceptions of Canva as a learning medium for Grade VI IPAS at SDN 03 Pasa Lolo, Solok District. Canva is an easy-to-use graphic design application that provides various features that teachers can use to create interesting materials without requiring in-depth design skills. The main problem behind this study is that teachers have not maximized the use of the Canva application in the learning process in the classroom, and each teacher has a Belajar.id account that can be used in the learning process. This study used a quantitative descriptive approach with a total of 24 sixth-grade students as respondents, using total sampling. The research instrument was a Likert scale questionnaire, and the data was analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the students' perceptions were generally in the “Good” category, with an overall average score of 3.61. Students responded positively to Canva as a learning medium for sixth-grade IPAS, such as the material provided by the teacher, their understanding of the material, and the impact of Canva on the learning process. However, there is still room for improvement, especially in terms of understanding. This study is expected to serve as evaluation material for teachers and school officials, as well as a reference for other elementary schools that use Canva as a learning.

Abstract

This study was motivated by several issues, namely (1) students have low reading comprehension skills, making it difficult for them to understand the content of the text (2) students find it difficult to read long texts (3) students are unable to understand the content of the text because the teaching materials used are not interesting, as they consist only of textbooks and supporting teaching modules that are not appealing. This study aims to develop E-module teaching materials based on the quantum reading learning model to improve students' reading comprehension skills in narrative texts in fourth grade elementary school that are valid, practical, and effective for use as teaching materials in the learning process for fourth grade elementary school students. This study is a research and development (R&D) study using the 4D method (define, design, development, dissemination). The results of the study indicate that the E-module teaching materials based on the quantum reading learning model for students' reading comprehension potential are highly valid, with a percentage of 81.5% in terms of material, media, and language. From the practicality test, the E-module teaching materials assisted by the quantum reading learning model for students' reading comprehension potential obtained a very practical criterion with an average score of 88.33% from teachers and 82.95% from students based on the aspects of use, visual appeal, and benefits. The results of the learning effectiveness test in class IVA had an average score of 88.39% with a very effective criterion. Thus, it can be concluded that the E-module teaching materials developed by the researcher are valid, practical, and effective for use by students in the learning process.
