Abstract

The study was conducted because during the Covid-19 pandemic, the student learning process was less effective in biology lessons. Students did not like using a one-way system in learning. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the lack of interaction between teachers and students was the main factor that reduced learning efficiency. The main objective of this study was to produce an interactive learning media based on PBL (Problem-Based Learning), called Bioroom, with animalia material. This research is a type of development research (R&D). Due to time and cost limitations, this study was conducted using Sugiyono's research model, which was limited to the 7th stage (product revision). The data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. Verification was carried out by 3 experts, namely material experts, linguists, and media experts and the resulting data: 1) the percentage obtained from material verification was 83%, 2) the percentage obtained from language verification was 78%, and 3) the percentage obtained from media verification The percentage was 85%. Product trials were conducted in two ways, namely readability tests and response tests. The readability test was conducted by teachers and students, with a score of 86% for teachers and 83% for students. A response test was also conducted by teachers and students, with a score of 91% for teachers and 82% for students. According to the research data, the PBL-based Bioroom learning media is highly feasible and suitable for use at the high school/Islamic high school level, especially for the Animalia topic.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using the gallery walk model in learning to write poetry for class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Suranenggala in the 2024/2025 academic year; and describe the learning activities of writing poetry for class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Suranenggala in the 2024/2025 academic year using the gallery walk model. This study uses an experimental method with a Non-Equivalent Control Group design. The population of this study was all class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Suranenggala in the 2024/2025 academic year. Using a purposive sampling technique, class XI A was determined as the experimental class with 30 students and class XI C as the control class with 30 students. Research data were collected using data collection techniques in the form of tests and observations. The research instruments were in the form of test and observation instruments. Based on the results of statistical calculations using the two independent t-test (Independent Samples test), the t count was 2.130 and the t table was 2.001. Therefore, tcount (2.130) > ttable (2.001) this shows that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. Thus it can be stated that the gallery walk model is effectively applied in learning to write poetry for class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Suranenggala. Based on the results of the analysis of observational data, it is proven that the application of the gallery walk model can improve writing skills in students and can increase student activity in the process of learning to write poetry for class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Suranenggala in the 2024/2025 Academic Year.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze early childhood teachers' perceptions of the implementation and impact of using the Belajar.id platform at TKIT Ummul Maslahat, Cilegon City. The research employed a qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and questionnaires involving two teachers, supported by the principal and IT staff. The findings indicate that 75% of respondents felt motivated to use the platform, 50% found it easy to operate, and 75% acknowledged device-related obstacles. Teachers benefited from features such as Canva and digital assessments, although infrastructure limitations remained a challenge. This study emphasizes the need for regular training and technological facility improvement in early childhood education institutions.

Abstract

This Development Research was motivated by a problem at SMPN 27 Padang, namely that students were limited to the material presented by teachers through workbooks and printed books that were monotonous because they only contained black and white text without visualizations or interactive activities. This condition had an impact on low student motivation and learning outcomes, while teachers also had difficulty accommodating differentiated learning. This study aims to develop an e-module on computer hardware material that can be used in differentiated learning for seventh grade junior high school students. The Research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Data collection instruments include material validation, media validation, teacher and student practicality questionnaires, as well as pre-test and post-test questions. The results showed that the average material validation by experts was 98.09%, media validation by expert I was 97.64%, and media validation by expert II was 94.11%, all of which were categorized as highly valid. Teacher practicality obtained a percentage of 97.39% and student practicality was 94.73%, both of which were categorized as highly practical. The effectiveness test produced an average N-Gain of 0.70, categorized as quite effective. Thus, the developed e-module is suitable for use as a differentiated learning medium for computer hardware material in seventh grade junior high school.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of the STAD-type cooperative learning methods on the English-speaking ability of eighth-grade junior high school students using a quantitative approach with an experimental design through pretest and posttest. Sample used in this research was 8th grade students at Corpatarin Junior High School, with a total of 57 students were involved in two classes, which were divided into an experimental class and a control class. The results of the independent sample T-test analysis showed that the average post-test score of the experimental class was higher than the average pot-test score of the control class (M = 82.63 > 79.00), the mean difference in the control class was 7.15 point and in the experimental class was 7.67 points in the paired sample T-test, indicating a highly significant difference in average scores between the two groups. It means that all students experienced an increase in scores from the pre-test to the post-test, although the increase in the control class was not as significant as that in the experimental class, which was achieved through group assistance.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low listening skills of students. The models used during the learning process were less varied, more dominant using the lecture method, so that learning was more centered on the teacher. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using the interactive video-assisted listening team model on the listening skills of fifth grade students of SDN 37 Anduring. This type of research is experimental research using the Quasi Experimental Design design with the research design of Post-test Only Control Group Design. This study consisted of two study groups, the first group was given treatment with the listening team model called the experimental class, while the second group without treatment was called the control class. The population in this study were all fifth grade students of SDN 37 Anduring and the sample used was fifth grade students at SDN37 Aanduring. Based on the results of the analysis using descriptive statistics, the average experimental class was 87.82, higher than the average control class of 73.14. Based on the statistical analysis, hypothesis testing using the t-test resulted in tcount = 4.858 and ttable = 1,683, where tcount was greater than ttable. The results of the study proved that the use of the listening team model had an effect on students' listening skills in Indonesian language lessons in class V SDN37 Anduring.

Abstract

This research focuses on the development of HOTS-integrated student worksheets (LKPD) for IPAS process skills. The adjectives of the research are to produce a HOTS-integrated LKPD, analyze its feasibility, and assessment student responses to the HOTS-integrated LKPD. The research employs the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: Analysis Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation.The research involves validating the material, the LKPD itself, and administering questionnaires for teacher and student responses. The subjects of the research are fifth-grade students at SDN 104211 Marindal 1, including 15 students (6 males and 9 females). The results of the HOTS-integrated LKPD development show that the LKPD has a media validation score of 80%, which is categorized as "feasible"; LKPD validation is also at 80%, categorized as "feasible"; the teacher response questionnaire score is 90%, categorized as "feasible"; and the student response questionnaire score is 88,1%, indicating that students are "very interested" in the HOTS-integrated LKPD. Thus, the HOTS-integrated LKPD is deemed suitable for use in enhancing IPAS process skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the quadriceps femoris muscle on the flexibility and control of leg movements in Taekwondo athletes. The approach used is descriptive quantitative research combined with a review of biomechanics and sports physiology literature. The research subject is a single Taekwondo athlete, Ahmad Jibril (20 years old; height 167 cm; weight 67 kg), who underwent quadriceps strengthening training for two weeks with three main exercise variations: squats, lunges, and vertical leg kicks. Data were collected through knee movement angle measurements using a goniometer and video observation. The results show an increase in flexibility angles from an average of 82.4° to 169.5°, as well as more stable movement control in the ap chagi and dollyo chagi kicks. Literature review supports these findings, indicating that the strength and flexibility of the quadriceps muscles have a positive correlation with the speed and accuracy of kicks. It can be concluded that quadriceps strengthening exercises The quadriceps femoris has a significant effect on improving flexibility and leg movement control in Taekwondo athletes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of game-based learning (gamified learning)on improving eighth-grade students' speaking skills in English lessons at SMAN 1Bengkulu City and to determine students' perceptions of the method'simplementation. This study used a mixed-methods approach by combiningquantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data were obtained throughspeaking tests (pre-test and post-test) and questionnaires with 20 Likert scalestatements, while qualitative data were collected through semi-structuredinterviews and classroom observations. The pre-test results showed an averagestudent score of 50.33 with a dominant category of "sufficient" (40%), while thepost-test results increased significantly with an average of 84.00 and a dominantcategory of "very good" (50%). Descriptive statistical analysis also showed that allaspects of speaking skills improved, with the highest scores in the aspects of taskcompletion (mean 4.47) and interaction engagement (mean 4.40). Observationalresults showed that the majority of students participated actively, focused, andenthusiastically, while interviews revealed that students felt more motivated,confident, and brave in speaking English through games. Thus, gamificationlearning has been proven to be effective in improving speaking skills while creatinga fun learning atmosphere.

Abstract

This study aims to integratively analyze the role of family, social interaction, and technology in the first language acquisition of early childhood. Language acquisition is a natural process that involves biological, cognitive, social, and cultural factors; however, in the modern era, technology also becomes a new variable influencing children's language development. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a literature review approach, based on 15 national and international articles published in the last 10 years. The review results show that the family serves as the main foundation in providing language stimulation from an early age through communication and language habits at home. Social interaction enriches children's language abilities through real communication experiences with peers and the surrounding environment. Meanwhile, technology has a dual role: as an educational tool that can expand vocabulary, but it also has the potential to cause speech delays when used excessively without guidance. Thus, language acquisition in early childhood is the result of the integration of these three factors. The balance between the role of the family, social interaction, and the wise use of technology is key to optimizing children's language development in linguistic, cognitive, and socio-cultural aspects.
