Abstract

This study aims to improve students' motivation and learning outcomes through learning Social Scienceby applying the model of Problem Based Learning. This research is motivated by the problems that occur in the classroom, namely the lack of motivation and student learning outcomes. The design of this study used a classroom action research model consisting of three cycles, each cycle conducted in two meetings, including the planning stage, action implementation, interview observation, documentation, analysis and reflection. The results showed that through the application of Probem Based Learning model can improve the motivation and learning outcomes of students with Social Sciencelearning on the material of the historical relics of the Buddhist kingdom in Indonesia. This can be seen from the results of observation and analysis which shows that the assessment of RPP cycle I reached the percentage of 67.5% enough category, cycle II reached the percentage of 77.5% good category, cycle III reached the percentage of 90% very good category. Implementation of learning in the first cycle reached the percentage of 62.9% enough category, cycle II reached the percentage of 77.5% good category, cycle III reached the percentage of 90% very good category. While the results of students' learning motivation cycle I reached the percentage of 65% enough category, cycle II reached the percentage of 75.7% good category, cycle III reached the percentage of 88% very good category. Similarly, the results of student learning that meets the value of KKM in cycle I reached the percentage of 59% enough category, cycle II reached the percentage of 73% good category, cycle III reached the percentage of 90% very good category. Classroom action research ends in cycle III because the aspects studied are considered to have succeeded in achieving the indicator of achievement determined. This is because the model of Problem Based Learning is the appropriate learning resources for student development in Social Sciencelearning related to daily life. Based on the above description, it can be concluded that the model of Problem Based Learning can improve the motivation and student learning outcomes with Social Sciencelearning on the material of the historical relics of the Buddhist kingdom in Indonesia.

Abstract

In order to provide information that can be used to improve parental assistance to children, the purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which parents help students study at home. Parents have received many complaints about the prolonged absence of their children since the pandemic. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach and a non-engaged observation method by observing parents' home-based learning assistance activities without telling children that they are being recorded. The second method conducted five-question structured interviews with parent representatives for each grade level (grades 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6). The study shows that the role of parents in educating their children to study at home is irreplaceable. Parents need to motivate, instill confidence and show compassion for their children to overcome the challenges they face in school. This will affect not only the learning process but also the children's self-confidence, problem-solving skills, independence, and emotional stability. The study found that almost all parents are supportive of their children's learning, but they need to learn how to help their children learn so that everyone can learn comfortably.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi rendahnya kemampuan literasi numerasi kelas rendah di SDN 11 Duri Kepa yang termasuk dalam kategori rendah dan menganalisis Upaya penanggulangan rendahnya kemampuan literasi numerasi kelas rendah di SDN 11 Duri Kepa. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif menggunakan wawancara, terstruktur, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi rendahnya kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa kelas bawah di SD Negeri Duri Kepa 11 dapat dikategorikan menjadi dua yaitu factor internal dan faktor eksternal. Faktor internal meliputi kemampuan membaca rendah, kemampuan pemahaman konsep rendah, dan minat baca rendah. Sedangkan faktor eksternal yang mempengaruhi meliputi bimbingan orang tua, kemampuan guru, dan sarana prasarana. Solusi yang dapat dilaksanakan oleh pihak sekolah untuk mengatasi rendahnya kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa kelas bawah di SD Negeri Duri Kepa 11 antara lain dengan membiasakan calistung 15 menit sebelum kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas dimulai, mengoptimalkan sarana dan prasarana, menggunakan model, Teknik dan pendekatan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan Kata Kunci: Literasi Numerasi, Sarana Prasarana, Siswa

Abstract

Personal competence is a person's competence to understand the strengths and weaknesses of oneself and how to interact and interact with others. Personal competence includes interpersonal intelligence and intrapersonal intelligence. This study aims to produce valid and reliable personal competence instruments to map student’s personal competencies in Computer Asisted Test (CAT) using Macromedia Flash software. This mapping aims to optimize student academic guidance activities to reduce the dropout rate. This study adapted the Borg & Gall model. The sampling technique was using a random sampling. The subjects were the students of PGSD. Data collection techniques used were interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The data analysis technique were a four scale score conversion and SPSS Statistics 23. The results are personal competence instruments that is valid and reliable. The results of the content and construct validity of the material and media experts obtained an A with a very good category. The results of empirical validity show that there are 27 valid question items (r count> r table) and 3 invalid question items (r count <r table). The results of the reliability showed that the instrument was reliable in good categories (alfa cronbach value=0,6).

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi hasil observasi yang dilakukan pada kelas II SD Inpres 1 Lere menemukan bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik terhadap materi Contoh Sikap Mematuhi aturan di lingkungan keluarga belum maksimal. Hal ini disebabkan guru belum menemukan model pembelajaran yang dapat membantu peserta didik dalam memahami contoh sikap mematuhi aturan di lingkungan keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik melalui model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kelas model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang memiliki empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil tes yang didapat dari proses pembelajaran menggunakan model PBL pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila, nilai peserta didik dari awal sebelum menerapkan model PBL menunjukkan hanya 18,75% peserta didik yang tuntas dalam tes awal tersebut. Namun setelah pembelajaran dilakukan dengan penerapan model PBL hasilnya adalah terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik menjadi 82,5% peserta didik yang berhasil tuntas dalam pembelajaran. Dari data yang diperoleh disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran PBL berhasil meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan pancasila di kelas II Sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The learning model used by the teacher still uses the lecture method so that students do not understand the material that has been presented. Thus, it is necessary to apply a learning model that suits these problems. Problem based learning (PBL) is a problem-based learning model. The problems faced are problems that are in accordance with students' real lives. The Problem Based Learning model emphasizes problem solving activities in learning. The application of the Problem Based Learning model is an appropriate alternative for involving all students to play an active role in learning and developing thinking skills, because all learning in it is linked to everyday problems. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach that describes improving student learning outcomes with this type of classroom action research. Data was taken using the observation method. The results of this study show that there is an increase in learning outcomes in class III mathematics subjects

Abstract

This article aims to understand the importance of the teacher's role in the success of learning for students with intellectual disabilities. The writing of this article was conducted using qualitative methods. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and searching for various journal references related to the role of teachers in the learning success of students with intellectual disabilities. The research results indicate that the role of the teacher is very important in achieving learning success for students with intellectual disabilities. Learning that is tailored to the characteristics and needs of students. Teachers play a crucial role as determinants of success in education. Supporting factors for success include teacher competence, collaboration with parents, and the availability of facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

Students' interest in learning science is still relatively low, because not a few students consider science as a relatively difficult subject. Interest in learning is very important for a student's learning. The use of interesting and interactive learning media increases students' interest in learning science. The interactive media used in this study uses the kahoot game in learning. This study aims to determine the effect of kahoot games on students' learning interest in grade IV science learning in elementary schools. This research uses quantitative research methods with Quasi Experimental Design with Posttest Only Control Design. Sampling technique with non-probability sampling. This type of research tool uses a questionnaire containing 20 positive statements. In calculating the data analysis, this study used SPSS Statistics 26.0 to calculate the normality test, then the hypothesis was tested using the t-test at a significant level of 0.05. The results of the calculation of the t-test hypothesis test in both classes show ????ℎ???????????????????? > ???????????????????????? namely 2,462 > 2.011 which indicates that there is an influence of kahoot games on students' interest in learning science in class IV SD Negeri 20 Pahambatan Balingka.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengalaman belajar peserta didik kelas IV SD N Purwokerto dalam menemukan rumus volume kubus dan balok melalui pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 20 peserta didik, terdiri dari 10 laki-laki dan 10 perempuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi, memanfaatkan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data. Data dianalisis dengan model Miles & Huberman melalui proses reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik yang genggam konsep matematika dengan kehidupan sehari-hari, model beton seperti kubus satuan, dan transisi menuju matematika formal, membantu peserta didik memahami konsep dalam menemukan rumus volume kubus dan balok serta memberikan pengalaman belajar yang kontekstual dan bermakna . Pendekatan ini juga melibatkan peserta didik secara aktif dan mendukung pengembangan keterampilan berpikir analitis serta pemecahan masalah. Kesimpulannya, Pendidikan Matematika Realistik memberikan pengalaman belajar yang relevan dalam membantu peserta didik didik, konsep matematika, dengan kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi mengidentifikasi elemen cerita anak menggunakan media audio visual. Media audio visual merupakan alat penyajian materi ajar yang digunakan oleh guru melalui gambar (visual) dan unsur suara (audio). Jenis penelitianyang dilakukan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Prosedur penelitian tindakan kelas terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Penelitian tindakan kelas dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dimana setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 pertemuan dengan 3 kali pertemuan dengan menyajikan materi dan 1 kali pertemuan dengan pemberian tes siklus. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini yaitu pada siklus I mencapai rata-rata sebesar 85% sedangkan pada siklus II 97%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media audio visual dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar bahasa indonesia siswa kelas 2 UPT SDN 54 Barru
