Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran Storybook Digital pada pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Bab 7 Aku dan Si merah topik “Menemukan Informasi” di kelas kelas III UPT SD Negeri 065012 Medan Tuntungan Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025. Jenis penelitian yag digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) atau Classroom Action Research (CAR). Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus dan menggunakan empat tahapan dalam pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan kelas, dengan subjek penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa kelas III UPT SDN 065012 Medan Tuntungan berjumlah 19 siswa dengan 9 siswa laki-laki dan 10 siswa perempuan. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Tes analisis data yang digunakan berupa data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar individual pada pretest yaitu 3 siswa yang tuntas secara klasikal 26,32% dengan nilai rata-rata 56,58. Pada siklus I secara individual yaitu 10 siswa yang tuntas, secara klasikal 52,63% dengan rata-rata 68. Pada siklus II secara individual yaitu 16 siswa yang tuntas, secara klasikal 84,21% dengan rata-rata 82. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I sampai siklus II mengalami peningkatan.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability of mapping Indonesian cultural icons through Indonesian blind map adventure learning media for fifth grade students of SDN 86 Sipatana, Gorontalo City. The research method is classroom action research. Data collection techniques are observation, testing, and documentation. The subjects in this study were fifth grade students of SDN 86 Sipatana, Gorontalo City. The results of initial observations showed that out of 16 students, 16 people with a percentage of 100% were in the underprivileged category. The results of the study in cycle I meeting 1 of 16 students, 12 people with a percentage of 75% were in the able category while 4 people with a percentage of 25% were in the underprivileged category. Cycle I meeting 2 as many as 14 students with a percentage of 88% were in the able category and 2 people with a percentage of 12% were in the underprivileged category. Indonesian blind map adventure learning media has great potential in improving the ability to map Indonesian cultural icons in grade V elementary school students. Through this media, students not only better understand the material of Indonesian cultural icons, but also become more active and involved in the learning process. Positive responses from teachers and students show that an interactive and fun approach is very effective in attracting students' interest in learning.

Abstract

Guru pendidikan agama islam memiliki tugas besar dalam membentuk sikap siswa melalui pengajaran, pendidikan, insentif, dan sarana. Tujuan pendidikan islam adalah untuk memberikan nilai-nilai agama kepada siswa sehingga mereka dapat menerapkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Motivasi belajar siswa dipenagruhi oleh berbagai pendukung dan penghambat, baik dari lingkungan sekolah maupun keluarga. Peneliti menunjukkan bahwa meskipun terdapat tantangan, upaya guru dalam menerapkan metode pembelajran yang tepat berhasil meningkatkan motivasi belajar serta semangat siswa untuk mencapai hasil terbaik.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model Peer Teaching melalui metode eksperimen sederhana dalam meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS topik "Gelombang Cahaya" di kelas V SDN 064021 Medan Helvetia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus, dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 064021 Medan Helvetia yang berjumlah 20 orang siswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa serta tes hasil belajar. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan rumus persentase. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Peer Teaching dengan metode eksperimen mampu menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang aktif, menyenangkan, dan kolaboratif. Terlihat dari peningkatan aktivitas guru dan siswa, dimana aktivitas guru pada siklus I mengalami peningkatan dari 80,36% (kategori baik) menjadi 94% (kategori sangat baik) pada siklus II. Aktivitas siswa juga meningkat dari 77,5% (kategori baik) pada siklus I menjadi 90% (kategori sangat baik) pada siklus II. Peningkatan juga terlihat pada hasil belajar siswa. Pada pra-siklus, hanya 25% siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar, dengan nilai rata-rata kelas sebesar 54,5 (kategori rendah). Pada siklus I, ketuntasan meningkat menjadi 65% dengan nilai rata-rata 68,25 (kategori cukup). Kemudian, pada siklus II, ketuntasan belajar mencapai 85% dengan nilai rata-rata 80,5 (kategori sangat baik). Berdasarkan hasil di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Peer Teaching melalui metode eksperimen efektif dalam meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar IPAS siswa di kelas V.

Abstract

Peneltian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis etnomatematika Melayu di sekolah dasar terutama pada materi bangun datar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan mengadopsi model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Development, Dissemination) yang dikemukakan oleh Thiagarajan pada tahun 1974. Penelitian dan pengembangan melibatkan ahli media, ahli materi dan ahli bahasa sebagai validator ahli terhadap media yang dikembangkan. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini berupa angket validitas dan praktikalitas. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menghitung rata rata persentase skor yang dapat dilihat dari aspek tampilan, aspek materi, aspek bahasa dan praktikalitas respon guru dan siswa. Hasil yang diperoleh dari uji validitas media pembbelajaran interaktif materi bangun datar mendapatkan kategori sangat valid dengan skor persentase 91,37%. Pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif dikatakan sangat valid karena telah memenuhi kriteria penilaian yang dilihat dari aspek tampilan media, materi dan bahasa. Sedangkan hasil yang diperoleh dari uji praktikalitas respon guru dan siswa menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif materi bangun datar sangat praktis dengan skor persentase 96,52%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif praktis digunakan oleh guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Dari hasil validitas dan praktikalitas dapat di simpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis articulate storyline etnomatematika Melayu pada materi bangun datar untuk siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar dinyatakan valid dan praktis. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu pendidik dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran di sekolah dasar khususnya pembelajaran matematika dengan materi bangun datar, dan dapat menjadi referensi bagi peneliti lain dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Floods are a natural process that often occurs in Indonesia. Floods also occur from natural factors and human factors themselves. Floods due to natural factors include high and prolonged rainfall, where the volume of water that overflows exceeds the capacity of rivers and drainage channels. In addition, high sea levels, especially when coinciding with storms or large waves, can cause tidal flooding in coastal areas. Rapid snowmelt in mountainous areas can also significantly increase river discharge, while volcanic eruptions can trigger destructive cold lava floods. On the other hand, human factors, namely illegal logging, which reduces the soil's ability to absorb rainwater, are one of the main causes. Indiscriminate waste disposal, which clogs water channels and rivers, also contributes to flooding. Changes in land use, such as the development of settlements in water catchment areas, reduce nature's ability to control water flow. Finally, inappropriate infrastructure development, such as poor drainage systems or inadequate embankments, can increase vulnerability to flooding. Floods can also cause economic losses, have a negative impact on the environment and human activities, and cause loss of life. In addition, there are also factors for Drainage Problems, the lack of water catchment areas due to the increasing number of housing or tall buildings that can cause the water to not be absorbed by trees or soil.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in fictional text learning for Grade VI students at UPT SD Negeri 060857 Medan through the use of interactive PowerPoint media and concrete teaching aids. Preliminary observations revealed low student interest and suboptimal learning outcomes due to conventional teaching methods and limited use of learning media. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a quantitative approach, conducted in two learning cycles. The interactive PowerPoint utilized features such as hyperlinks, short videos, and quizzes, while concrete aids in the form of illustrated characters helped visualize abstract concepts in fictional texts. The findings showed a significant improvement in students’ mastery levels, increasing from 45.83% in cycle I to 95.84% in cycle II. These results indicate that the use of varied and engaging teaching methods and media can enhance student comprehension, interest, and achievement. This study also aligns with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum, emphasizing differentiated learning and character development through creative and collaborative approaches.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 060857 Medan on the topic Cultural Diversity in My Region. Conventional teaching methods and the lack of culturally relevant learning materials have led to low student engagement and comprehension. The aim of this study is to improve student learning outcomes through the use of QR Book media combined with the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach. QR Book is a printed medium enhanced with QR codes that link to instructional videos on cultural topics, while CRT emphasizes teaching that connects with students’ cultural backgrounds.This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 12 fifth-grade students. Data collection instruments included observation sheets, evaluation tests, and documentation.The results showed a gradual improvement in student learning outcomes. The percentage of students who met the learning mastery criteria increased from 33,3% in the pre-cycle to 50% in the first cycle, where interactive PowerPoint was used. In the second cycle, after implementing the QR Book media, mastery increased to 83,3%. These findings indicate that the combination of QR Book and CRT approach effectively enhances student motivation, participation, and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of the Project Based Learning learning model on the character of cooperation of fourth grade elementary school students. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The subjects in this study were fourth grade students of SD Negeri 39 Pekanbaru. The sample of this study was two classes, namely class IVA and IVB, where class IVA was used as the experimental class and class IVB as the control class. The researcher used the Project Based Learning learning model in the experimental class and the conventional model in the control class. The statistical data obtained were normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis tests, N Gain tests processed using the SPSS program. The results of the N-gain test showed that the experimental class had an average of 0.561 (moderate), while the control class was only 0.226 (low). In addition, the results of the hypothesis test using the independent T-test showed a significance value of 0.001 <0.05, so Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. The posttest results showed that student cooperation in the experimental class was higher (86.34% - very high category) compared to the control class (75.13% - high category). This finding indicates that there is an influence of the use of the Project Based Learning learning model on the character of student cooperation in grade IV of SD Negeri 39 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the limited studies on role imbalance and group learning in elementary schools, even though this phenomenon has a significant impact on students' learning motivation, the effectiveness of teamwork and classroom dynamics. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that cause role imbalance in groups and identify strategies applied by teachers to create equity in the collaborative learning process. The method used was qualitative with a literature review approach, which involved analyzing various sources of scientific articles and academic publications from the last five years. The results of the study show that role imbalance in groups can affect learning motivation, group work outcomes and overall classroom dynamics. Students' roles in the group are also influenced by internal factors such as fine motor skills, motivation and learning habits. External factors such as parental attention and social environment are also included. These findings are in line with the research objectives and reinforce social learning theory which emphasizes the role of environment and social interaction in learning. The main conclusion of this study is the importance of implementing fair and adaptive group management strategies to create inclusive and effective learning. The implications of this research include theoretical aspects, such as enriching the literature on group learning dynamics. Keywords: Group learning, Equity, Student roles, Teacher strategies
