Abstract

Pancasila sebagai dasar negara memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk karakter dan moral generasi muda, terutama di tingkat sekolah dasar, sebagai fondasi nilai-nilai etika dan kebangsaan. Namun, metode pembelajaran yang monoton sering menjadi hambatan dalam mencapai tujuan pendidikan Pancasila. Berdasarkan Teori Konstruktivisme Jean Piaget, pengetahuan perlu dibangun melalui interaksi aktif dan pemecahan masalah. Dalam konteks ini, inovasi pembelajaran seperti "Papan Pintar Pancasila" dirancang untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa melalui kegiatan interaktif. Media ini memungkinkan siswa mengembangkan pemahaman mendalam tentang nilai-nilai Pancasila sekaligus keterampilan berpikir kritis yang diperlukan untuk menghadapi tantangan masa depan. Dengan demikian, "Papan Pintar Pancasila" tidak hanya memperkuat pembelajaran Pancasila tetapi juga mendukung pembentukan warga negara yang aktif dan bertanggung jawab. Penelitian ini dilakukan oleh Mahasiswa PPG Prajabatan Gelombang 1 Tahun 2024 di UPT SPF SD Inpres Kampus IKIP sebagai bentuk kontribusi terhadap pengembangan pendidikan nasional.

Abstract

Inappropriate learning media can cause low understanding of concepts in elementary school students, so it is necessary to choose the right media for the learning process. Pop - Up Books are an alternative to improve understanding of concepts in elementary school students. This research aims to determine the difference between understanding the concepts of the control class and the experimental class and the influence of the Pop-Up Book on increasing the understanding of the concepts of class VI students in the solar system material. This research uses a quantitative approach with quasi-experiment as the research method. This research uses a One-Group design, which involves pretest testing before treatment and posttest testing in one specified group. The population in this study were all students at SD Negeri Sukaraja 1 who studied science learning material about the solar system. The sampling technique used simple random sampling with a sample of 26 students in class IV A of SD Negeri Sukaraja 1 and 29 students in class IV B of SD Negeri Sukaraja 1. The results of the first data analysis showed that there were significant differences, because they both had differences, the N-Test was carried out. Gains. The second analysis carried out the Effect Size test and obtained the results that the use of Pop-Up Books had a big influence on increasing the understanding of concepts in class VI students regarding the solar system. Abstract

This study aims to improve the listening skills of grade VIII junior high school students through the use of audio-visual animation media. This study is motivated by the phenomenon of low listening skills among students, which is often caused by the limited learning media used. Conventional learning methods that rely too much on lectures and written texts are considered less interesting and unable to attract students' attention. Therefore, this study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental design to test the effectiveness of audio-visual animation media in improving students' listening skills. The results of the study are expected to show that audio-visual animation media can have a positive impact on the learning process of English, especially in the aspect of listening, as well as provide an alternative learning media that is more interesting for students. This research is also expected to provide practical guidance for schools that want to develop modern learning methods that are relevant to the needs of today's students

Abstract

Kesehatan merupakan aspek fundamental dalam kehidupan manusia yang perlu dibangun dan dijaga sejak usia dini. Artikel ini bertujuan mengkaji pentingnya menanamkan kesadaran kesehatan pada masyarakat, khususnya anak-anak, melalui tinjauan literatur komprehensif. Studi menunjukkan bahwa kebiasaan hidup sehat yang dibentuk pada tahap awal perkembangan memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap kualitas kesehatan individu sepanjang hidupnya. Berbagai penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa pendidikan kesehatan yang efektif dapat menurunkan risiko penyakit, meningkatkan kesadaran kebersihan, dan membentuk perilaku hidup sehat. Metode literature review ini menganalisis berbagai jurnal, publikasi kesehatan, dan laporan penelitian terkait kesehatan anak. Fokus utama adalah mengidentifikasi strategi edukasi, intervensi kesehatan, dan pendekatan yang tepat untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran kesehatan sejak dini. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan holistik yang melibatkan keluarga, sekolah, dan masyarakat sangat efektif dalam membentuk perilaku hidup sehat. Artikel ini menekankan pentingnya tindakan proaktif dalam membina kesehatan, mulai dari praktik dasar seperti mencuci tangan, menjaga kebersihan gigi dan mulut, hingga pembentukan pola hidup sehat yang komprehensif. Kesimpulan studi mendorong pentingnya edukasi berkelanjutan dan keterlibatan multistakeholder dalam upaya menjaga kesehatan masyarakat.

Abstract

The mastery of vocabulary is essential for effective communication and language acquisition. However, many students face challenges in enhancing their vocabulary through traditional teaching methods. The gap that this research aims to fill is the lack of studies focusing on the effectiveness of word search puzzle in learning strategies to improve vocabulary at the junior high school level. While there is a growing body of research on vocabulary learning in general, there is limited evidence on the specific challenges of the students in written words. This study aims to find out the effect of words search puzzle in students’ vocabulary mastery at the seventh grade in UPTD SMP Negeri 4 Kota Pematangsiantar. This study used quantitative method in collecting the data with quasi-experimental design. The results indicated a significant increase in the post-test scores of the experimental group, with a t-test value of 3.55, exceeding the critical value of 1.673 at a 0.05 significance level. This finding suggests that Word Search Puzzles significantly enhance vocabulary learning among students. The study concludes that incorporating interactive and engaging methods like Word Search Puzzles can effectively improve vocabulary acquisition.

Abstract

The teacher is an educator who becomes an example or role model for his students, a teacher is required to educate, teach, guide, direct, train, assess and evaluate his students, being a teacher may not be easy where a teacher must have extensive knowledge, good attitude, interesting skills. However, many schools have a shortage of teachers, especially in remote areas. This is one of the factors that causes inequality in teachers because they think that being a teacher pays a small salary and has to take care of a large number of children, so they think that it is not worth what they receive (salary). being one of the causes and to become a PNS/PPPK teacher is not easy. Moreover, many people think there are unseen people or people who have definitely passed because there are insiders who become very difficult competition to pass PNS/PPPK. Based on data from the National Civil Service Agency (BKN) annually issues CPNS formations, in 2021 there will be 1,002,616 CPNS formations for PPPK teachers. Meanwhile, the number of teachers in Indonesia, according to the Ministry of Education and Culture's Dapodik data, is 3,207,995. Nevertheless, as has been explained that education in Indonesia is not evenly distributed. There are also several solutions that the government has implemented, including SPGN (National Teacher Equalization System), additional teachers through regional contracts, mobilizing teachers, hiring honorary teachers through education and zoning. This research is focused on analyzing the problems of the education office regarding the inequality of educators/teachers. the approach used is a qualitative approach to the method of literature study.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang Studi Kasus Kepemimpinan Dalam Konteks Global. Metode penelitian ini menggunkana studi kepustakaan yang melibatkan pendalaman, pengolahan, dan pengidentifikasian pengetahuan dari berbagai sumber literatur seperti bacaan, karya referensi, atau hasil penelitian lainnya yang berkaitan dengan masalah yang akan diteliti. Dari penelitian ini dapat dihasilkan bahwa kepemimpinan global adalah mereka yang memahami kompleksitas dinamika internasional dan mampu mengelola perbedaan buda, ekonomi dan politik dengan bijaksana. Keterampilan seorang pemimpin global, yaitu: 1) berpikir secara global, 2) menghargai keragaman budaya, 3) mengembangkan teknologi pintar, 4) membangun kemitraan dan aliansi, serta dan 5) berbagi ilmu tentang kepemimpinan. Dengan itu dibutuhkan kompetensi kepemimpinan yaitu kemampuan beradaptasi, membina kerja tim, menciptakan komunikasi terbuka, dan membangun hubungan. Dengan bebrapa studi kasus yang di bahas pada penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa kepemimpinan global memerlukan pemahaman budaya, adaptasi, empati, keterbukaan, dan kepekaan budaya untuk membangun hubungan efektif. Pemimpin juga harus memiliki visi strategis, memanfaatkan teknologi, dan mendukung perubahan. Kata kunci: Kepemimpinan Global, Studi Kasus, Keterampilan dan Kompetensi.

Abstract

The study explores the role of school principals as supervisors in improving the quality of teaching at SD Negeri 1 Babaktulung. Utilizing a qualitative approach, the research examines how supervision strategies influence pedagogical practices, professional development, and social competencies of teachers. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, with findings triangulated to enhance validity. The study highlights that effective supervision fosters teaching innovation, enhances teacher competencies, and increases student engagement. Key challenges, such as limited resources and resistance to supervision, are addressed through collaborative strategies and targeted professional development. The key results of the research are as follows: (1) Supervisory practices increased the use of innovative teaching methods, such as project-based learning and group discussions. (2) Teachers demonstrated enhanced pedagogical and professional competencies, particularly in integrating technology into teaching. (3) Student engagement improved significantly through active participation in interactive and technology-supported learning activities. The results underline the transformative potential of supervisory practices in elementary education, providing actionable recommendations for stakeholders.

Abstract

The 2013 curriculum is an element of transformation at the elementary school level. These elements are in the form of strengthening learning, implementing integrated thematic learning, and developing higher order thinking skills through a scientific approach. To make this happen, elementary teachers need to have competence in planning, implementing, and evaluating HOTS learning, but many of them do not understand and apply assessments that measure these higher-order thinking skills. This PKM is expected to be able to provide insight into the understanding of teachers in carrying out learning and evaluating students on higher-order thinking aspects. This PKM is carried out in a group activity forum, teacher work which is held once a week for four meetings. The strategy used is an explanation of the HOTS concept, discussion of developing indicators of basic competencies, workshops on the preparation of grids and rules for writing questions, and preparation of HOTS questions. From the results that have been implemented, it can be concluded that a small proportion of elementary school teachers have carried out HOTS learning and assessments; This activity is able to increase the understanding of teachers' understanding so that it can produce outputs in the form of grids and the development of HOTS questions in thematic learning covering the main areas of Civics, Indonesian Language, Social Sciences, Science, and Mathematics.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of interpersonal intelligence on mathematics learning outcomes in fourth grade students' fraction material in SD Negeri Lamper Lor Semarang. This research uses quantitative methods with a correlational research design. The research sample consisted of fourth grade students in one of the elementary schools selected randomly. Data collection was carried out through pretest and posttest to determine the mathematics learning outcomes of students who have interpersonal intelligence. The data analysis technique uses simple regression analysis to test the influence of interpersonal intelligence on learning outcomes. The results of data analysis obtained through statistical tests, such as simple correlation and regression tests, show that there is a relationship between interpersonal intelligence and mathematics learning outcomes in fractions. Based on the correlation coefficient value of 0.732 with a significance level of 0.05, it was found that there is a significant influence between interpersonal intelligence on students' mathematics learning outcomes in fractions. This shows that the better the students' interpersonal intelligence, the better their mathematics learning outcomes in fractions material. The conclusion of this research is that interpersonal intelligence is an important factor that can influence student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects, especially fractions. Thus, teachers are expected to be able to develop learning strategies that support interactions between students to improve their interpersonal intelligence and learning outcomes.
