Abstract

This study was motivated by the low mastery of English vocabulary of fifth grade students of SDN Soreang 01, especially on the material “Parts of Our Body”. As a solution, the Circuit Learning model assisted by Canva media was applied to improve students' vocabulary mastery. This research is a Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles, including planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 33 students of class VA. The instruments used consisted of multiple choice tests and observation sheets of student and teacher activities. The results showed that the learning model used was effective in improving vocabulary mastery. In the pre-cycle stage, only 21.21% of students reached the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) with an average score of 54.09%. After the implementation in cycle I, the average score increased to 71.66% and the classical completeness to 48.48%. Student and teacher activities reached 73.61% and 75% respectively. Improvements were made in cycle II, resulting in an average score of 87.12% with classical completeness of 90.91%. Student activity increased to 93.06% and teacher activity reached 94.44%. Based on these results, the application of the Circuit Learning model assisted by Canva media proved to be effective in improving elementary school students' mastery of English vocabulary.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran matematika pokok bahasan pecahan senilai melalui media blok pecahan kelas IV UPT SD Negeri Sidomulyo 2 Tuban. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Sejumlah 7 peserta didik yang terdiri dari 4 peserta didik laki-laki dan 3 peserta didik perempuan menjadi subjek penelitian. Pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan dalam 2 silkus, setiap siklus terdiri dari 2 kali pertemuan dimana pada pertemuan ke-2 diadakan tes evaluasi hasil belajar peserta didik. Antusias peserta didik saat pembelajaran berlangsung mengalami peningkatan, terbukti pada hasil observasi aktivitas peserta didik siklus I mencapai 62,5% dan siklus II mengalami kenaikan sebesar 91,6%. Aktivitas pendidik dalam pembelajaran juga mengalami kenaikan, kenaikan tersebut berdasarkan aktivitas pendidik siklus I yang awalnya mencapai hasil 89,2% kemudian bertambah menjadi 96,4%. Pada siklus I pendidik menggunakan media blok pecahan dengan satu bentuk saja sebagai media pembelajaran, hasil belajar peserta didik yang menuntaskan pokok bahasan yaitu 28,6%. Kemudian pada siklus II pendidik menggunakan media blok pecahan dengan tiga bentuk berbeda, hasil belajar peserta didik yang menuntaskan pokok bahasan mencapai 100%. Hal ini menunjukkan peningkatkan yang cukup tinggi yaitu 71,4%. Berdasarkan data yang telah didapat, disimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan media blok pecahan dalam pelajaran matematika pada topik pecahan senilai di kelas IV UPT SD Negeri Sidomulyo 2 Tuban efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa

Abstract

The development of digital technology has significantly transformed how university students interact, access information, and express themselves in digital public spaces. However, this transformation also brings an increased risk of digital media misuse, which may lead to legal consequences, particularly in relation to violations of the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE). This article aims to examine the urgency of UU ITE literacy among students as a preventive effort to enhance legal awareness and protect digital rights. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method based on literature review, analyzing academic references, scholarly journals, and relevant regulations. The findings indicate that although students are active users of social media and digital technology, their understanding of the substance of UU ITE remains limited. This lack of comprehension makes them vulnerable to digital law violations, especially regarding ambiguous articles that can potentially restrict freedom of expression. Digital legal literacy encompasses not only knowledge of the UU ITE’s content but also critical skills in evaluating information, understanding legal boundaries, and maintaining ethical communication in cyberspace. Therefore, strengthening digital legal literacy is essential for students not only to avoid violations but also to serve as agents of change who promote ethical, inclusive, and responsible legal awareness.

Abstract

This study examines the phenomenon of multicultural-based verbal bullying at SD Islam Izzuddin, an elementary school with cultural diversity and Islamic values. The aim is to analyze the forms, impacts, and handling strategies of verbal bullying in the school environment. The research employs a qualitative case study method, involving in-depth interviews with homeroom teachers and participatory observation to assess student social dynamics. Findings reveal that verbal bullying manifests as mockery related to regional accents, physical traits, or cultural identity, including racist remarks. The impacts include reduced self-confidence, social anxiety, and impaired learning concentration among victims. Teachers play a key role in fostering inclusivity through conflict mediation and restorative approaches, yet systematic strategies—such as integrating multicultural-religious education and peer support programs—are needed. The conclusion highlights the necessity of a holistic approach combining teacher roles, curriculum, and Islamic values to prevent verbal bullying in multicultural schools.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of discussing mathematics learning media in Elementary Schools. This research is a literature study. Literature study research data were obtained from documents or library sources. The information search process with researchers looking for information either from national journals or books related to the research title. The results of this study are that learning media are anything that can be used to convey messages (learning materials), so that they can stimulate students' attention, interest, thoughts, and feelings in learning activities to achieve learning goals.The conclusion of this study is that mathematics learning media are tools used to support mathematics learning so that students understand the material better and can stimulate students' thought patterns. The function of mathematics learning media is to make mathematics learning more interesting and to make it easier for children to learn mathematics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the feasibility of Chapter I “Mengenal Perasaan” in the Indonesian language book for grade II students based on the standards of the National Education Standards Agency (BSNP). The study used a qualitative descriptive method, assessing four main aspects: content feasibility, language, presentation, and graphics. The analysis shows that the content aligns with the Elements and Learning Outcomes of the Merdeka Curriculum and is actual, containing relevant content from the last five years. Linguistically, the book scored very well on spelling accuracy and sentence clarity, but there were errors in writing direct sentences, using punctuation, and presenting examples that need correction to comply with the General Guidelines for Indonesian Spelling. The material presentation supports students' understanding, although the accuracy of example numbering and punctuation use in poetry still needs attention. Overall, the book “Mengenal Perasaan” meets BSNP eligibility criteria and is suitable as a learning resource, though improvement in linguistic aspects is needed to optimally support elementary students' learning.

Abstract

Reading and writing literacy skills are important aspects in the academic development and daily activities of primary school students. This study aims to analyze the application of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) method as an effort to improve students' reading and writing skills. The method used is a literature review by reviewing a number of recent studies in the last five years that are relevant. The results show that the CIRC method supports collaborative learning, integrates reading and writing activities, and builds meaningful social interactions between students in heterogeneous groups. The method has a positive impact on students' reading comprehension, writing skills, communication and critical thinking. The findings suggest that CIRC can be used effectively as a support strategy in literacy education at the primary school level.

Abstract

This research focuses on the phenomenon that occurs in the surroundingcommunity. In communication in society, there are problems or differences in themeaning of speech in speech. The purpose of this study is to describe the type ofconversational implicature and describe the function of conversational implicaturein Podcast Depan Pintu Episode 78: A Pragmatic Review. The method used toanalyze is descriptive qualitative. The results obtained in this study are: 31 datatypes of conversational implicature, consisting of 28 data types of conventionalimplicature and 3 data types of non-conventional implicature.Keywords: Implicature, Video, Front Door Podcast.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara sistematis dan menyeluruh literatur yang membahas peran orang tua dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan prestasi akademik anak. Dengan menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR), analisis dilakukan terhadap sepuluh artikel jurnal yang dipublikasikan antara tahun 2021 hingga 2025 dalam basis data terindeks SINTA. Hasil kajian mengidentifikasi empat dimensi utama peran orang tua, yaitu sebagai pendidik, motivator, fasilitator, dan komunikator dalam proses pembelajaran anak. Pola asuh demokratis ditemukan sebagai pendekatan paling efektif dalam membentuk motivasi intrinsik dan self-concept akademik yang positif. Namun, efektivitas keterlibatan orang tua dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal seperti tingkat pendidikan dan kesejahteraan psikologis, serta faktor eksternal seperti latar belakang sosial ekonomi dan dukungan lembaga pendidikan. Pandemi COVID-19 mempercepat transformasi peran orang tua dari pendukung pasif menjadi kolaborator aktif dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan kerangka kerja keterlibatan orang tua yang adaptif, berkelanjutan, dan menyeluruh, termasuk program pengembangan kapasitas dan strategi komunikasi multi-dimensi dengan pihak sekolah. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa keterlibatan orang tua merupakan determinan utama keberhasilan akademik anak dan merekomendasikan studi lanjutan untuk merancang model keterlibatan yang kontekstual, sensitif terhadap budaya lokal, dan mampu menjembatani kesenjangan pendidikan.

Abstract

Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap prestasi kerja guru berdasarkan hasil kajian terhadap tujuh sumber penelitian. Gaya kepemimpinan transformasional mencakup pengaruh ideal, motivasi inspiratif, stimulasi intelektual dan pertimbangan individual yang menjadi tolak ukur keberhasilan kepemimpinan transformasional yang dapat meningkatkan kinerja guru. Berdasarkan beberapa artikel tesebut dapat diketahui bahwa kepala sekolah dengan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional ini dapat meningkatkan prestasi kerja guru. Kajian ini memberi wawasan mengenai bagaimana gaya kepemimpinan transformasional menjadi hal penting dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan secara menyeluruh.
