Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation and impact of the teaching assistance program conducted over several months at UPT N 060831 Medan Sunggal. The teaching assistance program was carried out directly in classroom settings, involving observation, lesson planning, teaching practice, and evaluation. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method. The data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show significant development in teaching competence, classroom management, and the ability to adapt teaching materials to students' needs. Furthermore, students demonstrated increased engagement and understanding of the subject matter. This study concludes that teaching assistance programs provide beneficial practical experiences for prospective teachers and contribute positively to the learning atmosphere in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility, effectiveness, and practicality of the MEFOSIS learning media (Metamorphosis Flipbook Media) in improving conceptual understanding of fourth-grade elementary school students. This is a research and development (R&D) study using the 4D model (Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination). The subjects were fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Brajan, Kasihan, Bantul, consisting of 10 students in a limited trial and 18 students in a field trial. Data collection techniques included questionnaires and tests, with data analysis using percentages and paired sample t-tests. The results show: (1) MEFOSIS media is highly feasible, with expert assessments of 93% for media and 98% for content, both categorized as “Highly Feasible.”. (2) The media is effective in improving students' conceptual understanding, evidenced by increased average scores from pretest to posttest: from 53 to 76 in the limited trial and from 69 to 80 in the field trial. The paired sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores. (3) MEFOSIS is also proven to be practical. In the limited trial, student and teacher responses were 94% and 90%, respectively, while in the field trial they were 98% and 94%, all falling into the "Very Good" and "Highly Feasible" categories. Thus, MEFOSIS is feasible, effective, and practical for teaching the concept of metamorphosis

Abstract

The development of religious education curricula in Islamic educational institutions, such as pesantren, schools, and madrasahs, is a crucial strategic step in shaping the spiritual, moral, and religious knowledge of students. In an increasingly complex global context, religious education plays a vital role in building a generation that is not only academically intelligent but also possesses high moral and spiritual integrity. This research aims to analyze the curriculum development strategies implemented at MI Roudlotul Muta’allimin, SDN 2 Pulorejo, and Pesantren Daarul Qur’an. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that pesantren emphasize the deepening of religious knowledge through classical texts (kitab kuning), while schools integrate religious education as a subject within the national curriculum. On the other hand, madrasahs combine general and religious education curricula proportionally. This curriculum development is influenced by institutional vision, teacher competence, and the diverse needs of the local community. Recommendations from this study include the importance of contextualizing the curriculum to be relevant to social conditions, integrating digital media to enhance learning effectiveness, and strengthening the values of religious moderation in the educational process. Thus, the development of religious education curricula in these institutions is expected to produce a generation that not only has strong religious knowledge but is also capable of making positive contributions to a multicultural society.

Abstract

Salah satu faktor pendukung pembelajaran yang aktif dan efektif adalah siswa yang aktif atau yang biasa dikenal dengan keaktifan. Siswa yang aktif cenderung lebih antusias untuk mengikuti pembelajaran, selain itu siswa yang aktif memiliki tingkat kecerdasan yang tinggi. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan keaktifan siswa dapat meggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif model STAD. Dimana model ini bertujuan untuk membentuk siswa kedalam beberapa kelompok yang terdiri dari 4-5 siswa heterogen, dimana setiap kelompok terdiri dari siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Dimana dengan mengelompokan siswa secara heterogen ini dapat membuat siswa menjadi aktif selama kegiatan pembelajaran, hal ini dapat dibuktikan pada penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan oleh peneltiti. Peneliti melaksanakan penelitian di sekolah SDN 037 Sabang kelas 3 dengan menggunakan lembar observasi sebagai Teknik pengumpulan data selama 2 siklus. Hasil dari pengolahan data pada siklus 1 menunjukan sebanyak 80,27% siswa sudah aktif mengikuti pembelajaran yang sudah termasuk kategori baik yang kemudian mengalami kenaikan sebanyak 12,24% menjadi 92,97% pada siklus ke 2 dan masuk kategori sangat baik. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif model STAD dapat meningkatkan keaktifan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of good governance principles in public services at the Balaraja District Office, Tangerang Regency. The core principles of good governance focused on in this study are accountability, transparency, participation, and the rule of law. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method using interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection techniques. The findings indicate that the Balaraja District Office has implemented accountability through increased public trust in its services. Transparency is reflected in the availability of information via the official website and direct services. Public participation is facilitated through complaint channels and joint evaluation forums. Meanwhile, the rule of law is enforced through adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and the application of sanctions for violations. Although there are shortcomings, such as limited information on the website, public service delivery has generally been carried out effectively. The implementation of these four principles supports the development of higher quality, accountable, and citizen-oriented public services. This research is expected to serve as an academic reference in the study of local governance systems and public service delivery.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas strategi KWL (Know, Want, Learned)dalam meningkatkan pemahaman membaca siswa sekolah dasar melaluitinjauan literatur terhadap lima artikel ilmiah. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah penelitian perpustakaandengan meneliti berbagai jurnal yang relevan. Temuan ini mengungkapkan bahwa strategi KWLmembantu mengaktifkan pengetahuan sebelumnya siswa, membantu mereka dalam menetapkan tujuan pembelajaran, dan mendorong refleksi tentang informasi baru yang diperoleh dari membaca. Selainitu, strategi ini meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran,mendukung diskusi kolaboratif, dan menumbuhkan pemikiran kritis dan keterampilan meringkas.KWL telah menunjukkan kemampuan beradaptasinya di berbagai pengaturan pendidikan,termasuk sekolah sumber daya terbatas dan berbagai jenis teks seperti cerita rakyat. Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning creativity of Grade 1 students at SD Nurul Khoir in the Art and Culture subject through the use of collage media. The problem identified includes limited learning facilities and the lack of classroom activities that foster student creativity. In addition, many students struggled to recognize shapes and colors accurately and had difficulty describing objects in detail. This research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted over two cycles. The subjects were 23 first-grade students, and data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative and quantitative approaches. The results showed that the use of collage media effectively enhanced students' creativity, especially in recognizing shapes and colors through the theme of fruits such as bananas, apples, and oranges. The collage activity encouraged students to express themselves freely, develop their imagination, and improve fine motor skills through cutting and pasting materials. Although the activity required adequate preparation and time, it provided a contextual and enjoyable learning experience. In the first cycle, student creativity was still low, with a success rate of 51.65% due to the teacher-centered approach. However, in the second cycle, significant improvement was observed, with the success rate increasing to 81.21%, in line with greater student engagement both physically and mentally. Therefore, the implementation of collage media proved effective in creating an active learning environment and supporting the early development of student creativity.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas belajar siswa kelas I SD Nurul Khoir dalam mata pelajaran Seni Budaya melalui penerapan media kolase. Permasalahan yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan fasilitas belajar dan minimnya kegiatan pembelajaran yang mendorong kreativitas siswa. Selain itu, banyak siswa belum mampu mengenal bentuk dan warna dengan baik, serta kesulitan dalam menjelaskan suatu bentuk secara rinci. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan McTaggart, yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 23 siswa kelas I, dan teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media kolase efektif dalam meningkatkan kreativitas siswa, khususnya dalam mengenal bentuk dan warna melalui tema buah-buahan seperti pisang, apel, dan jeruk. Kegiatan kolase memungkinkan siswa untuk berekspresi secara bebas, mengembangkan imajinasi, serta melatih keterampilan motorik halus melalui aktivitas memotong dan menempel. Meskipun memerlukan persiapan bahan dan waktu yang cukup, kegiatan ini memberikan pengalaman belajar yang kontekstual dan menyenangkan. Pada siklus I, kreativitas siswa masih rendah dengan tingkat keberhasilan 51,65% karena pembelajaran masih berpusat pada guru. Namun, pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan signifikan hingga 81,21% seiring meningkatnya keterlibatan aktif siswa, baik secara fisik maupun mental. Dengan demikian, penerapan media kolase terbukti mampu menciptakan suasana belajar yang aktif dan mendukung perkembangan kreativitas sejak dini.

Abstract

Character education is an important aspect of learning in elementary schools, especially in shaping the value of student independence. This study aims to analyze the application of the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) Model in increasing the value of student independence in learning Pancasila Education class IV in elementary school. The problem raised is the lack of instilling the value of autonomy in students which can affect the student behavior. The method used in this research is a literature study by analyzing various relevant literature regarding the application of VCT in character education and Pancasila learning. The literature used includes journal articles and previous studies that discuss theories and best practices in increasing student independence through the VCT model. The results showed that the application of the VCT Model can strengthen students independence values through a value clarification process that involves students in understanding and decision-making. This study concludes that the VCT model has great potential in increasing student independence and can be adapted to learning Pancasila Education in elementary schools.

Abstract

Science learning in elementary schools often encounters challenges when delivering abstract topics such as electromagnetism. Low student engagement and the lack of appropriate learning media lead to poor understanding and learning outcomes. This study aims to implement practicum media within a Problem Based Learning (PBL) approach to improve student achievement in the topic of electromagnetism. The study employed a qualitative approach using observation methods involving 31 fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 37 Pekanbaru. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and analysis of student worksheets (LKPD). The results showed an increase in student participation during the learning process and a rise in LKPD scores from an average of 80% in the first worksheet to 83,3% in the second. Additionally, students demonstrated a better conceptual understanding of electromagnetism, were able to assemble simple tools, and connect practicum results with scientific explanations. The study concludes that the use of practicum media in a problem-based learning model can enhance students' motivation, conceptual understanding, and academic performance in abstract science topics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPA menggunakan rancangan Understanding By Design (UbD) dengan pembelajaran STEM. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yang terdiri dari 2 siklus yaitu siklus 1 dan siklus 2. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV SDN Sabang Kota Bandung yang berjumlah 28 siswa pada tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi. Hasil penelitian tindakan kelas ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatkan dari siklus 1 ke siklus 2. Siklus 1 memperoleh hasil sebesar 84% dengan kategori Baik, sedangkan siklus 2 memperoleh hasil sebesar 98,4% dengan kategori Sangat Baik. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran STEM dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar.
