Abstract

This study aims to describe the Pancasila Student Profile content in the critical thinking dimension, the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile in the critical thinking dimension in mathematics learning, and the patterns of critical thinking in mathematics learning in fourth grade. The research subjects include fourth-grade students, school principals, and homeroom teachers. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, questionnaires, mathematics questions, and documentation, which were then verified using triangulation techniques to ensure the accuracy of the data. The results of the study indicate that there are three contents of the Pancasila Student Profile, namely, obtaining and processing information and ideas, analyzing and evaluating reasoning, and reflecting on thoughts and thinking processes; the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile has been reflected in learning activities, as seen from the results of the student questionnaire, which obtained an average percentage score of 61.3% in the good category; and the pattern of critical thinking dimensions in fourth-grade learning was obtained from the sub-elements of asking questions, identifying, clarifying, and processing information and ideas, analyzing and evaluating reasoning and procedures, and reflecting on and evaluating one's own thoughts.

Abstract

The problem in this study was the low learning outcomes of grade 4th students of SD Negeri 6 Metro Utara. This study aims to determine the effect of animated video learning media on learning outcomes of Pancasila education. This research method used quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design. The population and sample of the study amounted to 54 students. Determination of the sample used a saturated sample technique. The data collection technique used a test technique in the form of multiple choice questions totaling 25 questions which were carried out twice, namely during the pretest and posttest. The data analysis technique used simple linear regression. The results of the study are that there is an effect of animated video learning media on the learning outcomes of Pancasila education with ???????????????????????? > ???????????????????????? or 25.644 > 4.260.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ critical thinking skills through the use of the Poster Comment method in the Indonesian language subject for fifth-grade students at SD Inpres Pajagalung. The Poster Comment method is a learning approach that encourages students to actively provide responses to posters containing specific information or issues, thereby stimulating their critical and analytical thinking abilities. This research employed a classroom action research (CAR) approach with two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were fifth-grade students at SD Inpres Pajagalung. The results showed an improvement in students’ critical thinking skills from the first cycle to the second cycle. This improvement was evident from the increase in the average scores and the percentage of students achieving mastery learning after the implementation of the Poster Comment method. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Poster Comment method is effective in enhancing students’ critical thinking skills in Indonesian language learning.

Abstract

This research is necessitated by the observation that not all Early Childhood Education (PAUD) institutions possess a uniform understanding and consistent application of character education principles. Discrepancies in educators' comprehension, insufficient resources, and the less-than-optimal engagement of parents in supporting children's character development within the home environment are identified as significant factors impacting the efficacy of character education within PAUD settings. Consequently, it is deemed imperative to conduct an in-depth analysis of character education at PAUD Hudaibiyah Gunung Medan. This study aims to meticulously examine the implementation of character education within this specific institution. This qualitative research uses a case study approach with observation and interview techniques to collect data from school principals, teachers, and parents. The results show that PAUD Hudaibiyah Gunung Medan has integrated character education through the Merdeka curriculum and daily habits, focusing on six dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile: Faith, Piety, and Noble Character; Global Diversity; Mutual Cooperation; Independence; Creativity; and Critical Thinking. Observation results indicate that character education activities are embedded in daily school activities. Interviews confirm that teachers involve parents in character education programs and apply character values through small interactions.

Abstract

This study endeavors to scrutinize the extent to which financial ratios exert influence on stock prices within companies encompassed by the Jakarta Islamic Index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The investigation concentrates on three principal ratios: the company's aptitude to satisfy short-term obligations, earnings per share, and the return on equity held by shareholders. This inquiry is motivated by the vicissitudes of the stock market, which frequently manifest price fluctuations, underscoring the criticality of fundamental information in investment decision-making, particularly within the realm of Sharia-compliant equities. Employing a quantitative methodology, the research harnesses secondary data sourced from financial statements and stock price movements of select corporations. Data analysis is conducted through statistical techniques to elucidate the relationship between financial ratios and stock valuations. The findings reveal that liquidity ratios wield no significant impact on stock prices, whereas earnings per share and return on equity demonstrate a substantive effect. Collectively, these three ratios, when examined conjointly, are affirmed to influence stock price variations. This outcome reinforces the perspective that investors predominantly prioritize profitability metrics over mere liquidity stability in evaluating corporate performance. Consequently, companies are encouraged to enhance profit efficiency and capital utilization. For investors, this research provides a referential framework to appraise stock prospects grounded in the fundamental strengths of enterprises, especially within the Sharia stock market milieu.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model using the STEAM approach on the learning outcomes of grade V students in building space materials at UPT SDN 231 Gresik. The background of this research is the low learning outcomes of students due to the monotonous learning process and lack of active student involvement. So that the STEAM-based PjBL learning model helps students in grade V UPT SDN 231 Gresik to be more active in learning, especially in the field of mathematics study of building space materials. This study uses a quantitative method with a quasi experiment design of the non-equivalent control group design. The research sample amounted to 30 VB students in the experimental class group and VA class students as the control class. The data collection technique uses learning outcome tests and student response questionnaires. The test results used were in the form of pretest and posttest questions which were carried out by analyzing data through normality, homogeneity, and T tests using SPSS 26. The test results using SPSS 26 showed that the value of the tailed sig-2 was 0.003 < 0.005. Thus, there is a significant influence of the application of the STEAM-based PjBL model on improving student learning outcomes. Therefore, the students' response to the application of this model is also very positive. Thus, the STEAM-based PjBL model can be an effective alternative learning model in improving the learning outcomes of students in class V UPT SDN 231 Gresik

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the work of fourth-grade students of Romang Rappoa Elementary School in using inorganic collage media and to determine the effect of inorganic collage media on the learning outcomes of art and culture subjects in fourth-grade students of Romang Rappoa Elementary School, Gowa Regency. This study used mixed methods research using the "One Group Pretest Postest Design" design. The population of this study was all fourth-grade students of Romang Rappoa Elementary School, totaling 18 people. The data collection technique used in this study was by administering pretest and posttest tests. The data collected in this study were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques and inferential statistics, in the use of inferential statistics, T statistics (t- test) were used. Based on the results of the study using inferential data analysis using the normality test of student learning outcomes taught by applying inorganic collage media, a significant value was obtained in the pretest of 0.075, posttest 0.090 and inorganic collage 0.160. The significant value obtained was > 0.05 so that the data was normally distributed, it can be concluded that there is an influence on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in the arts and culture subject at Romang Rappoa Elementary School, Gowa Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the integration of Islamic values in curriculum management at MI Miftahul Ulum Mataram Udik, Bandar Mataram District. A descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design was used. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The findings indicate that Islamic values are systematically integrated into the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages of the curriculum. In the planning phase, Islamic values are reflected in the vision, mission, and teaching documents. Curriculum implementation is integrative across all subjects and school activities. The evaluation process includes cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects oriented toward Islamic morals. The roles of the principal, teachers, and the religious school culture are key success factors in managing a value-based curriculum. This study recommends a curriculum management model that emphasizes value integration as a strategy to strengthen character education in Islamic schools.

Abstract

Researchers found that there were still several second grade students at Mojoagung 01 Elementary School who had low reading abilities, such as difficulty recognizing letters, stringing together syllables/words, spelling words and reading sentences well and fluently. Furthermore, there have been no literacy studies or research related to reading skills at the school. This research is also motivated by the importance of reading skills for student success. Good reading skills have a big influence on understanding the concepts and theories studied at school. Conversely, poor reading skills can be a hindering factor in students educational success. This research uses a qualitative research type. Data collection in this study was carried out using interview and questionnaire methods with class II teachers and class II students of Mojoagung 01 Elementary School, Pati Regency. The results of this study indicate that the initial reading ability of grade II students of Mojoagung 01 Elementary School, Pati Regency, There are 15 students (71.43%) of whom are fluent in reading correctly and there are 6 students (28.57%) of whom are not yet fluent in reading.

Abstract

This study focuses on examining the impact of using interactive PowerPoint media on enhancing the learning motivation of fourth-grade students at SD Perumnas 1.The study was initiated due to the low learning motivation observed among students, which is largely attributed to conventional, one-way teaching methods that lack student engagement and active participation. The study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, specifically the one-group pretest-posttest model. A total of 30 fourth-grade students were selected as the sample through purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out using a learning motivation questionnaire administered before and after the intervention, and was further supported by observations and documentation. The data analysis, conducted using a paired sample t-test, revealed a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating a statistically significant difference in students’ motivation scores before and after the use of interactive PowerPoint media. The average motivation score improved from a moderate to a high category.
