Abstract

Dalam usaha meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar, guru seharusnya menggunakan berbagai model pembelajaran dalam kelas sehingga dapat terciptanya pembalajaran bermakna. Model Sequenced atau model berurutan, adalah salah satu dari sepuluh model pembelajaran terpadu. Pembelajaran terpadu mempunyai sifat realistis dengan menyajikan secara menyeluruh suatu topik atau tema pada kegiatan - kegiatan pembelajaran yang berghubungan satu dengan yang lainnya. Model Sequenced adalah model terpadu yang menenkankan pada urutan karena adanya persamaan –persamaan konsep walaupun mata pelajarannya berbeda. Dalam hal ini model Sequenced membelajarkan beberapa konsep yang hampir sama diajarkan secara bersamaan (konsepnya) sementara salah satu konsep tersebut tetap diajarakan secara terpisah. Hal itu dilakukan dengan cara mengatur ulang beberapa topik dan diurutkan agar dapat serupa satu sama lain. Metode Penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian studi literatur dengan tujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman dan pengetahuan tentang model Sequenced serta cara penerapannya.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' learning outcomes in IPAS learning on animal metamorphosis material through the picture and picture cooperative model in class III UPTD SDI Oeba 1 Kupang. The method used was Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was carried out in two cycles, each consisting of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation of teacher and learner activities, as well as learning outcome tests. The research subjects were 20 students of class III consisting of 11 boys and 9 girls. The results showed a significant increase in learning outcomes. Learning completeness increased from 35% in the pre-cycle to 70% in cycle I, and reached 90% in cycle II. Thus it can be concluded that the application of the picture and picture cooperative model can improve student learning outcomes in IPAS learning on animal metamorphosis material.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between student discipline and academic achievement in elementary school. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through direct observation of third-grade students and semi-structured interviews with the third-grade homeroom teacher, Ms. Desti, at SDN Sukasari 4, Tangerang City. The findings revealed that among the 29 observed students, 8 students (±28%) demonstrated high levels of discipline, 15 students (±52%) were categorized as having moderate discipline, and 6 students (±20%) showed low discipline. In terms of academic achievement based on semester report cards, 10 students (±35%) achieved high academic performance, 13 students (±45%) were in the moderate category, and 6 students (±20%) had low performance. The results indicate that students with higher levels of discipline tend to achieve better academic outcomes, as reflected in scores above the minimum competency standard and consistent task completion. Conversely, students with lower discipline levels often face learning difficulties. This study underscores the importance of instilling disciplined behavior, cultivated by teachers at school and supported by parents at home, in enhancing students' academic success.

Abstract

Citizenship education for elementary school students plays a crucial role in shaping responsible and participatory citizens. This study reflects on the current practices and challenges of implementing civic education in Indonesian elementary schools, particularly in the context of social changes and the digital era. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through literature analysis, classroom observations, and teacher interviews. The findings indicate that while civic education is integrated into the curriculum, its delivery often focuses on rote learning rather than fostering critical thinking and participatory skills. Teachers face challenges in contextualizing citizenship concepts in ways that are engaging and relevant to students’ everyday lives. The study suggests the need for experiential and project-based approaches to help students internalize civic values. These findings have implications for teacher professional development, curriculum reform, and the broader discourse on democratic education in Indonesia

Abstract

In the digital age characterized by the rapid and abundant flow of information, the ability to validate and evaluate information has become very important. Digital information validation is a process that aims to ensure the authenticity and veracity of data obtained from various online sources. It involves verifying information to prevent the spread of fake news and misleading information. On the other hand, information evaluation involves assessing the quality, objectivity and purpose of information, which is crucial for informed decision-making. This article discusses the importance of both processes in the context of accurate decision-making, the challenges people face in filtering information, and strategies that can be implemented to improve individuals' ability to select accurate and trustworthy information. By doing so, it is hoped that people can become responsible users of digital information, able to filter information wisely, and contribute to a healthier and more informative information environment.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Identify the media and communication strategies used by the leaders of Pondok Pesantren As’adiyah Baburrahman Galung Beru in the development of the pesantren, and 2) Understand the supporting and inhibiting factors in the development process. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a da’wah perspective. Data was obtained from primary and secondary sources through techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the applied da’wah communication strategies encompass several main aspects, namely: the selection of credible communicators who understand the values of the pesantren; determining communication targets that include the general public, parents, and prospective students; constructing persuasive da’wah messages using the “Glamour Theory” and “One-side Issue” approaches; and utilizing various communication media such as public da’wah. digital media (Facebook), school visits, brochures, and billboards. This strategy involves internal communication (vertical and horizontal) as well as external communication to build a positive image of the pesantren. However, there are several obstacles in its implementation, such as limited human resources in the field of communication, suboptimal use of digital media in a professional manner, changing preferences of modern society, and competition with more established educational institutions. Therefore, the da'wah communication strategy needs to be developed adaptively and contextually according to the needs of the times. This study emphasizes the importance of a holistic communication approach as well as the improvement of facilities, infrastructure, and the mentoring system for students.

Abstract

Jalan Baru Bukit Gado-Gado is a developing area as a tourist route and culinary business location with beautiful natural scenery in Padang City. However, the physical conditions of this area, characterized by hilly topography and vulnerable geological conditions, make it a high-risk area for landslides.This study aims to analyze culinary business locations based on landslide risk and landslide hazard. The method used in this study is spatial analysis with an overlay, scoring, and georeferencing approach using ArcGIS 10.8 software. The first analysis found that of the 45 culinary business locations analyzed, 43 (95.6%) were located in very high landslide hazard zones, categorized as unsuitable, while 2 (4.4%) were in high landslide hazard zones, categorized as less suitable. The second analysis showed that the majority of the study area falls within the high landslide hazard zone, covering an area of 440,603 hectares. Field observations were then conducted at five landslide sites, 4 of the 5 landslide locations are in areas classified as high hazard, including the landslide on Jalan Siti Nurbaya in 2024 that impacted the construction area of the Al Adabiyah Mosque.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve the reading comprehension skills of fifth-grade students at UPT SD Negeri 159 Mulyorejo I through the application of the KWL (Know, Want to Know, Learned) learning strategy. The study was conducted collaboratively between researchers and the class teacher using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which includes stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection across two learning cycles. The research subjects were 41 students in the 2024/2025 academic year. Data collection techniques included observation, written tests, and documentation, analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively. In the first cycle, only 22 students (53.66%) achieved the minimum mastery criterion (KKM) with an average score of 64.88. After implementing improvements in the second cycle, student performance increased significantly, with 35 students (85.37%) reaching mastery and an average score of 82.68. The implementation of the KWL strategy proved to be effective in activating students’ prior knowledge, fostering curiosity, and facilitating reflection on what they learned from the texts. The study concluded that the KWL strategy successfully improved reading comprehension outcomes and is recommended for continued use in Indonesian language learning to enhance literacy skills in elementary education.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and explore in depth the various forms of human psychological symptoms that play a role in cognitive processes and individual behavior, particularly in the context of education. The method used is library research by collecting and analyzing relevant scientific literature. Psychological symptoms are categorized into several main aspects: observation, response, fantasy, memory, thinking, intelligence, and emotion. Each aspect contributes significantly to understanding an individual’s mental dynamics and influences learning processes and environmental adaptation. The analysis results indicate that early recognition of psychological symptoms can improve the quality of the learning process and assist educators in designing more effective and responsive teaching strategies. Thus, a comprehensive understanding of psychological symptoms is a crucial foundation for supporting students’ mental health and academic success.

Abstract

Hasil belajar di SDN Polisi 2 Bogor masih tergolong rendah. Hal ini disebabkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik yang yang rendah, dan pembelajaran yang masih konvensional, sehingga mengakibatkan peserta didik kurang aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menggunakan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning untuk meningkatkan hasilbelajar peserta didik kelas V SDN Polisi 2 Bogor semester II Tahun ajaran 2022/2023. PTK ini terdiri dari dua siklus dan setiap siklus terdapat empat tahap yaituperencanaan, pelakasanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Penellitian ini melibatkan 30 peserta didik sebagai partisipan. Alat pengumpulan data berupa tes, observasi, dandokumentasi. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian penelitian, Model Project Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik, hasil belajar pada siklus I 40% dan meningkat pada siklus II 86.7%.
