Abstract

This study aims to develop learning media in the form of pop-up books that focus on alphabet material and PJBL-based learning methods to improve students’ creative thinking skills in Indonesian Language subjects Chapter I: Let’s Play! in grade III of elementary school. This study used the Four D (4D) development model which includes four stages: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The results of the study indicated that this pop-up book learning media can be categorized as feasible. The results were obtained through the validation process by the validator using a validation sheet and a feasibility test by the research subject using a questionnaire response sheet. The percentage of values given by material experts is 96% with the criteria “Very Valid”, the results of the assessment by media experts are 95% with the criteria “Very Valid.” While the results of the student response questionnaire assessment are 88% with the category “Very Practical,” and the results of the teacher’s warm response data processing are 97% with the category “Very Practical.” Learning media is also effective to use with a classical completeness percentage obtained of 85% with the category “Very Effective.” Therefore, it is obtained that the pop-up book alphabet learning media (Chapter 1: Let’s Play) Based on PJBL class III MI Yatabu has been categorized as feasible and can be used to improve creative thinking skills, especially for Indonesian language subject, alphabet material, chapter 1: Let’s Play!.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of the contructivist learning model in improving skills in class XI at SMA Kartika XIX-2 Bandung. The research uses a pretest-posttest control group experimental design, involving two groups: the experimental group, which receives the contructivist learning model, and the control group which uses conventional teaching methods. The results indicate a significant improvement in students’ drma writing skills after the constructivist learning model was applied, with the posttest score of the experimental group showing a notable increase compared to the control gropu. Based on these findings, it can be conclude that the constructivist learning model is effective in enhancing drama writing skills among class XI students at SMA Kartika XIX-2 Bandung.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the STAD type cooperative learning model assisted by smart board media on students' mathematics learning outcomes. This type of research is a Pre-experimental study. With the research design is One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population of this study were all fourth-grade students of SD Inpres Malengkeri II, which consisted of two classes, namely class IV A and IV B. While the sample used in this study was random sampling. Random sampling is a random sampling technique, where each member of the population has an equal opportunity to be selected. The research instruments used were pretest-posttest test sheets, and observation sheets. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive statistical data analysis techniques and inferential data analysis. Based on the data obtained, it is known that the average learning outcomes before the treatment was given (pretest) was 35.28. While the learning outcomes after the treatment was given (posttest) was 80.88. These results indicate that the STAD type cooperative model assisted by smart board media has an effect on students' mathematics learning outcomes. Then the average increase in students' learning outcomes (N-Gain) was 0.71 with a high classification. The results of this study indicate that the Paired Sample T-Test results have a significance value (2-tailed) of <0.001. This significance value is much smaller than the 0.05 level of significance, so H_0 is rejected and H_1 is accepted. Therefore, H₀ is rejected and H₁ is accepted, indicating a significant difference in learning outcomes before and after the treatment. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the implementation of a cooperative learning model assisted by smartboard media has an impact on improving students' mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between arm muscle strength and underhand serve ability in volleyball among eighth-grade students at MTs Negeri 6 Kuningan. The research method used was a correlational method with a sample size of 46 students. The research instruments included a push-up test to measure arm muscle strength and a volleyball underhand serve skill test to measure basic technical skills. Data analysis used the Pearson Product Moment correlation test with a significance level of 5%. The results showed a correlation coefficient of r = 0.413 with p = 0.004 (<0.05) and t = 3.01 > t = 2.015. This proves that there is a significant positive relationship between arm muscle strength and volleyball underhand serve ability in eighth-grade students at MTs Negeri 6 Kuningan. The level of relationship is in the moderate category, so it can be concluded that better arm muscle strength, better students' volleyball underhand serve ability.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using the gallery walk model in learning to write poetry for class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Suranenggala in the 2024/2025 academic year; and describe the learning activities of writing poetry for class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Suranenggala in the 2024/2025 academic year using the gallery walk model. This study uses an experimental method with a Non-Equivalent Control Group design. The population of this study was all class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Suranenggala in the 2024/2025 academic year. Using a purposive sampling technique, class XI A was determined as the experimental class with 30 students and class XI C as the control class with 30 students. Research data were collected using data collection techniques in the form of tests and observations. The research instruments were in the form of test and observation instruments. Based on the results of statistical calculations using the two independent t-test (Independent Samples test), the t count was 2.130 and the t table was 2.001. Therefore, tcount (2.130) > ttable (2.001) this shows that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. Thus it can be stated that the gallery walk model is effectively applied in learning to write poetry for class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Suranenggala. Based on the results of the analysis of observational data, it is proven that the application of the gallery walk model can improve writing skills in students and can increase student activity in the process of learning to write poetry for class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Suranenggala in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. Keywords: Gallery walk, writing poetry, learning.
