Abstract

This study aims to analyze the rational considerations of elderly individuals inchoosing and maintaining their work as pedicab drivers in Tembilahan City, IndragiriHilir Regency, and to identify the obstacles they face. The study was motivated bythe increasing number of elderly who continue to work in the informal sector due toeconomic limitations and lack of social security. The research used a qualitativedescriptive approach with in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Thesubjects in the study were 6 informants, 5 informants who worked as pedicabdrivers, and 1 informants were customers. James S. Coleman’s rational choicetheory served as the framework. The results show that the main motivations aremaintaining economic independence, filling spare time, and self-actualization.Challenges include physical limitations, reduced customers, and competition withmodern transportation. The findings indicate that continuing to work as pedicabdrivers is an adaptive strategy for elderly survival.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of Liveworksheet-based E-LKPD development products on theme 7 development of food production technology in grade III SDN 3 Nyangkowek. This type of research is research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE model, namely (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The instrument used is a validation questionnaire sheet to determine product feasibility. The results of Liveworksheet-based E-LKPD development research on theme 7 of the development of food production technology developed obtained a level of validity from material experts of 100% with very feasible categories, linguists with very feasible categories of 100% and media experts with quite valid categories of 77%. Meanwhile, the student response questionnaire stated that E-LKPD is very practical by obtaining a percentage of practicality of 93.5%. Thus, it can be concluded that Liveworksheet-based E-LKPD on theme 7 of the development of food production technology in grade III SDN 3 Nyangkowek is declared feasible and can be used in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the motivations of students in choosing the EnglishEducation major at the Faculty of Tadris and Tarbiyah, UIN Fatmawati SukarnoBengkulu, cohort 2024, and to analyze their influence on academic achievement.This research employed a qualitative descriptive design using in-depth interviewswith three students representing both male and female perspectives, supported byobservations and relevant document studies. The findings reveal that studentmotivations differ according to gender: female students are primarily driven byintrinsic factors, such as personal interest in English, enjoyment of learning, andthe aspiration to become educators, while male students tend to emphasizeextrinsic factors, including career prospects, financial independence, and parentalsupport. Some students exhibit a combination of intrinsic and extrinsic motivations,where personal interest is reinforced by external encouragement. Motivation wasfound to significantly impact academic achievement: intrinsic motivation fostersdeep engagement, active participation, and additional learning efforts, whereasextrinsic motivation promotes goal-oriented behavior, discipline, and consistencyin completing assignments. Understanding these motivational differences and theireffects on academic performance is crucial for educators to design supportivelearning environments that meet diverse student needs and enhance overallacademic success.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in elementary schools plays a vital role in fosteringstudents’ religious and empathetic character. This study investigates theeffectiveness of prophetic stories as a teaching method in PAI at SDN 1Lalonggasumeeto, Konawe, Southeast Sulawesi, to cultivate these traits. Using aqualitative case study design, the research involved 25 fifth-grade students and a PAI teacher. Data were collected through unstructured observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s model of data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing, with sourcetriangulation for validity. Results show that stories of Prophet Muhammad SAW andProphet Yusuf AS enhance students’ religious practices, such as consistent prayerand supplication, and foster empathy through actions like sharing and reducedbullying. Challenges, including limited time and technology, were addressed throughteacher creativity and community collaboration. This study provides insights for PAIteachers to develop contextual, narrative-based learning in rural settings.

Abstract

This research examines the effect of using the Write & Improve website combinedwith small group discussions on the writing skills of 11th grade students at SMKMuhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru. Using a quasi-experimental design with pre-testsand post-tests, the results show that the experimental class that applied thiscombination achieved a higher increase in writing skills compared to the controlclass. The average post-test score for the experimental class was 62.12, while thecontrol class only scored 50.85. Statistical analysis proved that there was asignificant improvement in descriptive text writing skills. The results of thisresearch indicate that combining digital technology with collaborative strategiescan improve students' competence and engagement in writing learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of free fire online games on interest in learning. This research is a quantitative study with a correlational method. Data collection techniques using questionnaire distribution and data analysis were carried out with prerequisite tests (normality test and linearity test) and hypothesis testing (simple linear regression test). The results obtained using the t-test showed a significant negative influence between playing Free Fire games and students' interest in learning. The calculated t value (-3.550) > t table (1.714) with a significance level of 0.002. This means that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. This means that the more often students play the Free Fire game, the more their interest in learning tends to decrease. Research has revealed that time spent playing Free Fire games has a significant influence on children's interest in learning. Therefore, it is very important for parents to play an active role in managing children's playing time so as not to interfere with their learning process and cognitive development.

Abstract

His research aims to analyze the mutual cooperation character of elementary school students in the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) learning model to realize the Pancasila Student Profile, this is one of the innovative approaches that is able to integrate material mastery with student character building through project completion activities. The approach used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The results showed that the implementation of the PjBL model achieved students' mutual cooperation character. Students are able to work together in groups. Shared responsibility is seen from students' initiatives in helping group members. Social care is reflected in the empathetic attitude of students who support group friends. In addition, students show the behavior of respecting each other's opinions. Solidarity also increased, as seen from students' efforts to support each other for the success of the group. This research indicates that PjBL can be a relevant learning strategy to instill mutual cooperation values that are in line with the Pancasila Student Profile.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media video animasi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman nilai-nilai Pancasila pada siswa kelas III SD Negeri 01 Montong Tangi. Metode penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model ADDIE (analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, evaluasi). Subjek penelitian adalah 21 siswa kelas IIIA. Instrumen meliputi validasi ahli media dan materi, angket respon guru-siswa, serta tes pretest-posttest. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif untuk menilai validitas, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas. Validasi ahli menyatakan media sangat layak, dengan skor 74 dari ahli media dan 73 dari ahli materi. Uji kepraktisan menunjukkan penilaian baik dari guru (skor 50) dan sangat baik dari siswa (rata-rata 58,09), menandakan kemudahan penggunaan. Hasil uji efektivitas melalui pretest dan posttest menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang jelas pada pemahaman siswa setelah menggunakan media. Kesimpulannya, media ini valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk pembelajaran Pancasila, serta direkomendasikan untuk diterapkan dan dikembangkan lebih lanjut. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika melalui penerapan pendekatan Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) peserta didik kelas XI-A SMA Negeri 4 Palu. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 35 peserta didik, yaitu 18 peserta didik perempuan dan 17 peserta didik laki-laki. Penelitian dilakukan melalui Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar dan observasi serta dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Berdasarkan penelitian ditemukan hasil observasi aktivitas belajar siswa siklus I dengan siklus II meningkat 5,72% dan berada pada kategori baik. Perbandingan hasil belajar siswa siklus I yaitu 51,43% siswa yang tuntas dan 48,57% siswa yang tidak tuntas kemudian pada siklus II persentase belajar siswa yang tuntas sebesar 82,86% dan 17,14% siswa yang tidak tuntas. Peningkatan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) tidak hanya berdampak pada peningkatan nilai akademik, tetapi juga pada keterlibatan peserta didik dalam proses belajar

Abstract

This study is categorized as Classroom Action Research (CAR), systematically designed to examine and improve Indonesian language literacy through the application of Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) as a differentiated instructional model. The research involved 24 second grade students at SD Negeri 25 Palu, consisting of 14 boys and 10 girls. Quantitative data were collected using standardized tests to assess conceptual understanding and the progression of learning outcomes over time. The analysis demonstrated a steady improvement during the pre action phase 14 students (58%) met mastery criteria, which increased to 18 students (75%) in cycle I and reached 20 students (83%) in cycle II. These findings confirm the effectiveness of TaRL as an adaptive instructional approach that aligns teaching strategies with the actual readiness levels of students, while accommodating diverse initial abilities. Therefore, TaRL stands out as a strategic and evidence-based innovation capable of significantly enhancing the quality of Indonesian language instruction at the elementary level.
