Abstract

This study aims to analyze sentence types and syntactic function structures (S–P– O–K: Subject–Predicate–Object–Adverbial) in Indonesian online news texts published by Kompas, Detik, and CNN Indonesia in October 2025. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using documentation techniques. The data consisted of selected sentences taken purposively from online news articles covering economic, educational, social, and cultural topics. Data analysis was conducted through sentence identification, classification of sentence types (simplex, complex, and compound), analysis of syntactic functions, and interpretation based on Indonesian syntactic theories. The findings indicate that complex sentences are the most frequently used sentence type, particularly in Kompas and CNN Indonesia, as they allow journalists to present information in a more detailed and contextual manner through subordinate clauses. Meanwhile, Detik tends to use simplex sentences, reflecting its emphasis on brevity and speed in news delivery. Compound sentences appear less frequently across the three media outlets. In terms of syntactic structure, the dominant pattern found is S–P–O–K, with variations in the expansion of adverbial elements such as time, purpose, and context. Overall, the syntactic patterns found in online news texts demonstrate consistency with standard Indonesian grammatical rules and reflect the editorial styles and communicative strategies of each media outlet.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether or not the STEAM learning model has an effect on the science learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary school students. This study is a quantitative study using an experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The study population includes all fifth-grade elementary school students in the Kemayoran sub-district of Central Jakarta. The study sample was obtained through cluster random sampling using a lottery method. Based on the lottery results, SDN Kemayoran 11 class V-A was designated as the experimental class and class V-B as the control class. The prerequisite data analysis tests included a normality test using the Liliefors test and a homogeneity test using the Bartlett test. Hypothesis testing was performed with a t-test at a significance level of α = 0.05. The calculation results showed that the t_count (12.268) > t_table (1.677), so H_0 was rejected and H_1 was accepted. Thus, the results showed that there was a positive and significant effect of the STEAM learning model on the science learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary school students. Therefore, the STEAM learning model can be used as an alternative learning model in science lessons so that learning objectives can be achieved optimally and have a positive impact on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Upacara adat Takanab merupakan salah satu warisan budaya masyarakat Dawan yang berkembang di Kabupaten Timor Tengah Utara (TTU) dan mengandung nilai sosial, budaya, spiritual, serta edukatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji nilai-nilai sosial dan budaya yang terkandung dalam upacara adat Takanab serta menganalisis relevansinya dalam pembentukan karakter masyarakat di era modern. Metode yang digunakan adalah kajian pustaka (literature review) dengan menelaah berbagai sumber ilmiah berupa jurnal, buku, dan dokumen adat yang berkaitan dengan tradisi Takanab. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa upacara Takanab mengandung nilai sosial berupa gotong royong, solidaritas, dan kepedulian sosial; nilai budaya dan spiritual yang menekankan keseimbangan hubungan antara manusia, alam, dan Sang Pencipta; serta nilai pendidikan yang berperan dalam pembentukan sikap disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan rasa hormat pada generasi muda. Di tengah arus modernisasi, pelestarian tradisi Takanab perlu didukung melalui integrasi nilai budaya dalam pendidikan serta peran aktif pemerintah daerah. Dengan demikian, upacara adat Takanab tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai ritual budaya, tetapi juga sebagai sarana pendidikan karakter dan penguatan identitas budaya masyarakat TTU.

Abstract

The lopo traditional house is a cultural symbol of the Atoin Pah Meto people on Timor Island, rich in social and philosophical values. Lopo is not only a physical gathering place, but also a social learning space that instills the values of brotherhood, mutual cooperation and local democracy. This study aims to explore the fuction and meaning of the Lopo traditional house as a medium for learning the values of brotherhood and its relevance in the context of local cultural education. The study was conduced using a qualitative approach through a literature review of several previous studies. The results of the study indicate that lopo serves as a space of social interaction, a place for deliberation, and an informal educational facility that internalizes the values ​​of unity and togetherness of indigenous communities. These values ​​can be integrated into social studies learning to strengthen students' character and cultural literacy.

Abstract

Pendidikan pancasila sangat penting untuk dipelajari anak sekolah dasar kelas I di SD N Bugangan 03 untuk meningkatkan perilaku yang baik dalam kehidupan sehari-hari baik di lingkungkan sekolah ataupun di masyarakat. Hal tersebut dapat dilakukan dalam berbagai cara untuk peserta didik mampu memahami pendidikan pancasila,salah satu caranya yaitu menerapkan pembelajaran menggunakan quiziz yang bernilai edukasi diharapkan peserta didik dapat belajar dengan inovatif sehingga akan lebih mempermudah dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila serta dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa .Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh media quiziz terhadap pembelajaran pendidikan pancasila terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas I di SD N Bugangan 03 Semarang. Hasil uji normalitas data menunjukkan bahwa nilai pretest dan posttest berdistribusi normal. Dibuktikan dari Sig. pretest 0,069 dan Sig. posttest 0,44 yang nilainya > nilai α sebesar 0,05. Uji hipotesis pertama berupa uji t (paired sample t-test) menunjukkan adanya pengaruh dilihat dari Lower dan Upper bernilai negative yaitu Lower sebesar -28.11005 dan Upper sebesar -21.51495. Nilai Sig. (2-tailed) senilai 0,000 yang artinya < 0,05 dan uji hipotesis yang kedua berupa uji t (One Sample t-test) menunjukkan bahwa ada perkembangan dilihat dari Asymp (2 tailed) < α maka nilai Asymp (2 tailed) = 0,000 < 0,05 dengan Kriteria pengujian yang berlaku yaitu Ho akan ditolak maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima.

Abstract

ABSTRAKThe Leta Urang traditional ritual is a cultural tradition of the Lamaholot communityin Patisirawalang Village, East Flores Regency, which is performed as a request forrain during prolonged dry seasons. This study aims to describe the symbolicmeanings of the Leta Urang ritual and examine the implications of its values forelementary education. This research employed a qualitative approach usingethnographic methods. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews with traditional leaders and community members, anddocumentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display,and conclusion drawing, supported by source and technique triangulation. Thefindings reveal that the Leta Urang ritual embodies values of religiosity, socialsolidarity, ecological awareness, and collective responsibility toward nature. Thesevalues are relevant to be integrated into elementary school learning to strengthencharacter education, contextual learning based on local culture, and cultural literacy.This study recommends utilizing local wisdom as a contextual learning resource tosupport character development in elementary education.

Abstract

This article examines the symbolic meaning and function of elephant ivory in the practice of belis (dowry) among the Adonara people, a member of the Lamaholot cultural group in East Nusa Tenggara. Using a literature review approach, the article examines the origins of the tradition, its socio-cultural dimensions, its symbolic value related to women's dignity, and contemporary dynamics (commercialization, religious/legal criticism, and social transformation). The study reveals that ivory serves as a symbol of respect, recognition of women's status/role, and a bond between groups; it also poses challenges when assessed economically. The article concludes with a conclusion summarizing the role of ivory in affirming women's dignity and recommending the preservation of cultural values ​​sensitive to community well-being.

Abstract

Qur’anic exegesis in Indonesia has developed in response to the socio intellectual and religious dynamics of Muslim society. One significant work in the tradition of Indonesian Qur’anic interpretation is Al-Furqan Tafsir written by A. Hasan, a prominent Islamic reformist scholar known for his rational and purification-oriented approach. This study is motivated by the need to explore the methodological characteristics and interpretive orientation of Al-Furqan Tafsir and its contribution to the development of Qur’anic studies in Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to analyze the background of its composition, the method of interpretation, and the Islamic thought reflected in the tafsir. This study employs a qualitative approach with library research as its main method. The primary data source is Al-Furqan Tafsir, while secondary data are obtained from relevant books and academic articles. Data analysis is conducted through content analysis by examining the structure, interpretive method, and dominant tendencies of interpretation. The findings reveal that Al-Furqan Tafsir applies a tahlili method with a reformist rational orientation, emphasizing the purification of faith, rejection of blind imitation (taqlid), and direct reference to the Qur’an and Hadith. In conclusion, this study affirms that Al-Furqan Tafsir makes a significant contribution to shaping a modern, critical, and contextual tradition of Qur’anic interpretation in Indonesia.

Abstract

The development of contemporary Qur’anic interpretation has generated diverse methodological approaches, resulting in various schools of tafsir with textual, contextual, rational, and thematic tendencies. While this diversity enriches Islamic intellectual discourse, it also poses the risk of fragmented religious understanding. Therefore, an integrative approach is needed to bridge these differences through the framework of cross madhhab contemporary tafsir. This study aims to analyze the concept, characteristics, and relevance of cross madhhab tafsir in addressing contemporary intellectual and socio religious challenges. The research employs a qualitative method with a library research approach, utilizing content analysis and comparative analysis of contemporary tafsir works across different schools. The findings reveal that cross madhhab contemporary tafsir emphasizes dialogical, integrative, and moderate principles in understanding the Qur’an, accommodating multiple interpretive approaches without undermining textual authority. In conclusion, cross madhhab contemporary tafsir represents a strategic approach to fostering inclusive, contextual, and relevant Islamic understanding in response to the dynamics of modern society.

Abstract

This study aims to examine Islamic feminism in the dimensions of text, context, and culture through a comparative approach between classical and contemporary Qur’anic interpretations. Islamic feminism is understood as an effort to affirm principles of justice and gender equality rooted in the Qur’an and Sunnah, yet often influenced by socio-cultural and patriarchal constructions in interpretative practices. This research employs a qualitative method using a library research approach, combined with comparative analysis of Qur’anic interpretations related to women and gender relations. Primary data are derived from classical and contemporary tafsir works, while secondary data are obtained from relevant books and scholarly articles on Islamic feminism. The findings reveal that classical tafsir tends to emphasize a normative-textual approach shaped by its historical and social context, whereas contemporary tafsir adopts a more contextual approach that prioritizes substantive justice and ethical values. These differences do not indicate a contradiction in fundamental principles, but rather reflect methodological diversity in interpreting sacred texts. This study concludes that Islamic feminism represents an integral part of Islamic intellectual discourse that seeks to address modern social challenges while remaining grounded in Qur’anic normative foundations.
