Abstract

The low science learning outcomes for class IV UPTD SD Negeri 1 Tambah Subur students are caused by less interesting learning so that student learning outcomes are less than optimal. This research aims to improve learning outcomes through the application of the Group Investigation (GI) method to material on Natural Wealth in My Region. The research used a Classroom Action Research (PTK) design which was carried out in two cycles, each through planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. The research subjects were 26 class IV students. Data was collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and learning outcomes tests, then analyzed using mixed methods (qualitative and quantitative). The research results showed a significant improvement: the percentage of learning completion increased from 62% in cycle I to 84% in cycle II, resulting in a 22% increase. Thus, the use of the Group Investigation (GI) method has been proven to significantly improve the science learning outcomes of class IV UPTD students at SD Negeri 1 Tambah Subur.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the reallocation of education funding in the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) and its implications for the reproduction of social inequality from Pierre Bourdieu’s perspective. Education, as a social field, is not a neutral space but an arena in which various forms of capital compete and shape opportunities for social mobility. The reallocation of education budgets to support the MBG program raises fiscal trade-offs that may weaken the emancipatory function of education, particularly for groups that rely heavily on public education services. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method through a literature study of policy documents, official reports, and relevant academic studies. The findings indicate that although the MBG program aims to improve human capital through nutritional interventions, the reallocation of education funding may exacerbate inequalities in the distribution of economic, cultural, social, and symbolic capital within the educational field. Such conditions potentially reinforce mechanisms of social reproduction through habitus and symbolic violence that operate subtly within the education system. Therefore, human development policies should be designed in a complementary manner to ensure that nutritional interventions do not undermine long-term investments in educational quality and equity.

Abstract

This study aims to increase student interest in social studies through the application of the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Divisions) cooperative learning model to fourth-grade students at SDN Sudimara 5, Ciledug District. Initial observations indicated that the learning process was still conventional and teacher-centered, resulting in low student interest. This was demonstrated by a lack of student activity, enthusiasm, and involvement in learning. This study was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, with stages including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed an increase in student interest in each cycle. In cycle I, student interest reached 62%, but did not meet the established success indicators, so it was continued in cycle II. In cycle II, student interest increased to 86%, reaching the very high category. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the application of the STAD cooperative learning model is effective in increasing student interest in social studies

Abstract

This research was carried out with the aim of knowing the level of feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of Learning Media assisted by Baamboozle. This type of research is R&D with the ADDIE development model. The subjects of this study were 20 students consisting of 9 male students and 11 female students. Data collection techniques in this research consisted of interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The instruments used in this research include interview instruments, expert instruments (questionnaire, material, and media), practicality instruments (teacher response questionnaire), and student learning outcomes tests. Data analysis techniques are qualitative data and quantitative data. The results showed that the feasibility of the product got a percentage of 80%. The results of product practicality get a percentage of 80%. The results of product effectiveness obtained a result of 0.44. It can be concluded that the learning media assisted by Baamboozle is declared feasible, practical, and effective in improving the learning outcomes of fifth grade students in Pancasila Education subjects. It can be concluded that Baamboozle-assisted Learning Media is declared feasible, practical, and effective to use in learning.

Abstract

This research stems from the reality that students at SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi frequently encounter difficulties in social skills. Students often fail to communicate effectively, feel uncertain when interacting with others, and struggle to cooperate with classmates. Social skills play a crucial role in adolescent development as they help children form positive relationships with others. This study aims to improve students' social skills through group guidance services using role-playing techniques. The research method employed is action service research conducted in three cycles, with each cycle consisting of two meetings. The subjects of this study were 7th-grade students at SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi who obtained low scores on the social skills pre-test questionnaire. Data collection methods involved participant observation, questionnaires, and interviews with students, guidance counselors, and homeroom teachers. The results of this study indicate that the use of role-playing techniques in group guidance significantly helps students improve their social skills. Students were able to practice adjusting their behavior to social situations, learn to empathize with others' feelings, and receive direct feedback from group members. A clear difference was observed when comparing the average pre-cycle score of 43% to 85% in the third cycle. This study demonstrates that the use of group guidance with role-playing techniques is an effective way to help students enhance their social skills within the school environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of responsibility accounting on managerial performance using a systematic literature review approach. The research method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) approach. Data were collected from scientific databases such as Google Scholar and Garuda with a publication range from 2015–2024. The article selection process involved identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion stages. The initial search identified 135 articles, and after the selection process, 20 relevant articles were included in the final analysis. The results indicate that the implementation of responsibility accounting positively affects managerial performance by improving cost control effectiveness, managerial accountability, and decision-making processes. This study contributes to the development of management accounting literature and provides references for organizations in improving management control systems.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a learning media in the form of the QuiverVision application based on an interdisciplinary art and science approach in the IPAS subject for third-grade students at SDN 064983 Medan Helvetia and to determine the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of the developed learning media. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model, which consists of the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The results showed that the developed learning media was categorized as highly feasible based on expert validation, with a material expert score of 92% and a media expert score of 93.3%. In terms of practicality, the evaluation from the educational practitioner (third-grade teacher) obtained a score of 93%, while student responses reached 96.42%, indicating that the media is highly practical for use in the learning process. Furthermore, in terms of effectiveness, the results of the pretest and posttest analysis showed an average N-gain score of 0.841 with a percentage of 84.07%, which falls into the effective category. Therefore, the Quivervision-based learning media with an interdisciplinary art and science approach is considered highly feasible, highly practical, and effective as an alternative learning media for IPAS in elementary schools.

Abstract

Advances in information technology have encouraged businesses to improve service efficiency, including in the laundry industry, which requires a fast, accurate, and easy-to-use administration system. Bunda Laundry, as the location of this study, still relies on manual recording, which often leads to errors in recording and calculation, complicates the order tracking process, and creates obstacles in preparing accurate income reports. This research was conducted to design and develop an Android-based laundry administration application using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) prototype model methodology. This approach was chosen because it supports a gradual development process that can be tailored to user needs. The application was built using the Kotlin programming language and Firebase as the database, and is equipped with two separate interfaces, namely the admin interface for data management and reporting, and the user interface for ordering services and monitoring work status. Testing was carried out through Black Box Testing to ensure that the functions ran according to requirements and User Acceptance Testing to assess the level of user acceptance. The results of the study show that all the main features of the application run according to user needs based on the results of Black Box Testing. The results of User Acceptance Testing also show that the application is well accepted and is considered capable of improving the regularity and efficiency of the laundry administration process. In addition, the application generates sales reports that can support business owners in monitoring business development. Thus, the application that was built successfully fulfilled the research objectives and provided an effective solution that can be directly applied in the management of laundry business administration.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to enhance the character of discipline and responsibility among children aged 5–6 years through the implementation of a Morning Routine Chart at TK Negeri 1 Atap Lawelu. The study employed the Kemmis and McTaggart model and was conducted over three cycles involving 30 children in group B (16 boys and 14 girls). Data were collected through systematic observation and documentation. The results demonstrate a significant improvement in both discipline and responsibility across the cycles, particularly in children’s ability to follow structured morning routines, comply with classroom expectations, and complete tasks independently. These findings indicate that the Morning Routine Chart is an effective pedagogical tool for fostering character development in early childhood education settings.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that the listening and memory abilities of early childhood students are still relatively low. This is caused by the learning activities conducted by teachers, which still rely on manual teaching materials, picture books, and storytelling. In addition, educational and interactive learning methods have not yet been applied, causing children to become bored and less focused on the learning material. The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement in learning at TK Ade Irma Suryani School through the use of audio (sound) and visual (image) media. The method used in this study is classroom action research (CAR), which was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 15 children from TK Ade Irma Suryani School. Observation sheets were used to collect the necessary data. The results of this study show that the use of audio-visual media in early childhood learning can improve listening and memory skills, especially at TK Ade Irma Suryani School. Through the use of audio-visual media, children became more focused and active during learning activities. Moreover, they were more motivated and enthusiastic in participating in the lessons. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of audio-visual media is more effective in enhancing the listening and memory skills of early childhood students.
