Abstract

The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in foreign language education has brought about significant changes, yet it raises concerns regarding technological dependency and cognitive independence. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method, utilizing an online questionnaire to analyze the impact of AI dependency on the A2-level writing abilities of Class B, Batch 2025 students in the German Language Education program at UNIMED. Findings reveal a universal adoption of AI (100%), with 60% of students relying on it for nearly every task, leading to "fleeting" vocabulary retention, a loss of personal writing style, and a psychological paradox where 65% of learners feel anxious writing without digital aids. The study implies that such dependency threatens the future professional competence of prospective teachers, as it erodes the linguistic logic necessary for manual instruction. Ultimately, the research suggests that educators must guide students to use AI as a supportive tool rather than a substitute for the thinking process to preserve academic and professional integrity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Project Based Learning (PjBL) in developing elementary school students’ critical thinking skills through a literature review approach. Critical thinking is an essential 21st-century skill that needs to be developed from an early age; however, in practice, students' critical thinking skills remain relatively low due to teacher-centered learning. This study employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method by examining relevant scientific journals and books. Data collection was carried out through the stages of identification, selection, and analysis based on specific criteria, including empirical studies focusing on elementary school students, Project Based Learning, and critical thinking skills. The data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative techniques by grouping, comparing, and synthesizing the findings of previous studies. The results indicate that Project Based Learning is effective in improving students’ critical thinking skills through active involvement in problem-solving, analysis, and evaluation processes. In addition, PjBL enhances students’ collaboration, communication, and responsibility in learning. Therefore, Project Based Learning can be considered an effective alternative learning model to improve the quality of learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of religious guidance in shaping adoles-cents’ character, particularly for fostered children at the Special Development Insti-tution for Children (LPKA) Class II Jakarta. The limited environment within the insti-tution often creates psychological pressures such as stress, boredom, and low self-esteem. Therefore, religious guidance is needed to instill Islamic values, improve behavior, and develop Islamic character so that fostered children are better pre-pared to return to society. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation related to the imple-mentation of religious guidance activities at LPKA Class II Jakarta. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through triangulation techniques. The results show that religious guidance is implemented through congregational prayers, Qur’an recitation, religious studies, and lectures using dialogic approaches, role modeling, habituation, and worship practices. These programs positively influ-ence behavioral changes among fostered children, including increased religious awareness, discipline, and motivation to improve themselves.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze efforts to optimize children’s learning interest through interactive family-based learning assistance at home. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation involving school-age children and parents. The findings show that interactive learning assistance, such as discussions, question-and-answer sessions, and educational games, significantly increases children’s learning interest. Children become more active, enthusiastic, and motivated, while parental involvement creates a conducive learning environment. This research contributes novelty by focusing on learning interest rather than learning outcomes, and by applying interactive family-based assistance as a strategy to strengthen children’s motivation to learn.

Abstract

Mosques play a strategic role not only as places of worship, but also as centers of education, preaching, and community empowerment. The challenges of managing mosques in the modern era require improving the quality of human resources and implementing structured and sustainable learning instruments. This article aims to describe the implementation of community service through the application of learning instruments and skill enhancement in an effort to prosper the Al-Mujtahidin Mosque as a medium for Islamic preaching and education. The method used is Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) with a participatory approach involving ustadz, ustadzah, TPQ students, and mosque administrators in all stages of the activity. The results and discussion show that the application of systematic learning instruments can improve the quality of the TPQ learning process, strengthen educators' skills, and increase student enthusiasm and participation. In addition, a more structured, effective, and locally relevant learning pattern has been established. The conclusion of this activity indicates that strengthening community-based learning instruments significantly contributes to optimizing the mosque's function as an adaptive and sustainable center for education and da'wah.

Abstract

Character education, especially discipline, is an important foundation in forming a responsible and independent young generation. This study aims to analyze the implementation of role models in building the disciplined character of fourth-grade students at SDN 2 Karangan, Trenggalek Regency. A qualitative approach was used with observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation methods. The results showed that student discipline was at a high level, indicated by 71% of students arriving on time, 79% wearing complete uniforms, and 86% paying serious attention to the teacher's explanation. Teachers play an important role as role models in instilling the values of discipline through role models, such as punctuality, neatness, and consistency in rules. This study also identified supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of role models, including the importance of collaboration between teachers, parents, and the school environment. Strategic steps such as providing real examples, building positive relationships, and ongoing evaluation have proven effective in internalizing the values of discipline. These findings confirm that the role model program is a practical and relevant approach to forming the disciplined character of elementary school students, which is the foundation for their future success.

Abstract

Cognitive domain issues can manifest in various forms and levels of severity. Primary problems include difficulties understanding basic concepts, low logical and critical thinking skills, a lack of problem-solving initiative, and challenges in applying acquired knowledge, particularly for students with intellectual disabilities (tuna grahita) at SMK Negeri 17 West Jakarta. Often, students struggle to comprehend core concepts; they may memorize definitions but lack a true understanding of their practical application. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study design. Primary data sources include the Vice Principal of Curriculum and Islamic Education (PAI) teachers at SMK Negeri 17 West Jakarta. Secondary data were gathered through interviews with students with intellectual disabilities, as well as literature reviews of books and journals related to constructivist approaches, the cognitive domain, and intellectual disabilities. Data collection involved interviews, observation, and document studies. Data analysis utilized data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Research findings indicate that: 1) The implementation of the constructivist approach by PAI teachers occurs through storytelling sessions regarding real-life events linked to the material. 2) This implementation resulted in increased student activity during learning. 3) Obstacles include complex internal cognitive barriers, such as short-term memory deficits, the unavailability of special education teachers (guru pendamping khusus), and limited projector facilities. Solutions involve simplifying material into concrete behavioral examples relevant to daily life, utilizing creative visual media like Canva, and strengthening cross-sector synergy between PAI teachers, homeroom teachers, and guidance counselors (BK).

Abstract

This study examines language impoliteness and violations of politeness maxims in netizen comments on a viral LPDP case on social media. The problem addressed is the increasing use of impolite language in public digital discussions. The objective of this research is to identify the forms of language impoliteness, types of maxim violations, and how netizens express criticism, satire, and insults. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method with a pragmatic approach. Data were collected through observation and documentation of TikTok comments related to the case, then analyzed using Leech’s Politeness Principle and Grice’s Cooperative Principle. The findings reveal that impoliteness commonly appears in the form of satire, mockery, accusations, and degrading expressions. The most frequently violated maxims are the approbation maxim and tact maxim. These results indicate that netizens tend to deliver criticism in a direct and emotional manner without considering politeness norms, causing public discussions to shift from substantive issues to personal attacks. Therefore, awareness of polite language use is necessary to maintain constructive communication in digital spaces

Abstract

This research stems from the lack of legal certainty regarding customary land held by indigenous communities, which can trigger land conflicts. The Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency Regulation Number 14 of 2024 provides a new legal basis for the implementation of land administration and customary land registration. This study utilizes the theory of policy implementation and the concept of customary rights in customary law as the basis for literature analysis. The applied method is empirical legal research with a descriptive approach. Information was collected through structured interviews, observations, and document analysis with informants from the Ngada Regency Land Office, village governments, and indigenous communities. The study results indicate that the regulation has been implemented through inventory and identification, measurement and mapping, and customary land registration. The active involvement of indigenous communities is a key supporting element. However, challenges exist, such as limited community understanding, limited human resources, and administrative issues. The implementation of this policy has had a positive impact in increasing legal certainty and preventing customary land conflicts. In conclusion, the implementation of Minister of ATR/BPN Regulation Number 14 of 2024 has been quite good, but still needs to be optimized through increased outreach and collaboration between the parties involved.
