Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the management functions Planning, Organizing, Actuating, and Controlling (POAC) and to evaluate the scope of elementary school management at UPTD SDN 116 Allu, Maros Regency. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using audit-based analysis. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, observations, and document analysis involving the principal, teachers, and educational staff. The results indicate that the planning and organizing functions have been implemented relatively well through structured school programs and clear division of tasks. However, the actuating and controlling functions still face challenges, particularly in coordination, consistency of program implementation, and systematic follow-up of evaluation results. In terms of management scope, the school has managed curriculum, students, educators and staff, facilities, finance, public relations, and inclusive services adequately, although integration among management functions has not been fully optimized. This study concludes that strengthening data-based planning, improving managerial documentation, and enhancing supervision mechanisms are necessary to support sustainable and effective school governance

Abstract

Assessment and evaluation are essential components in the educational process, particularly at the elementary school level, which serves as the foundation for students’ academic, social, and character development. Assessment is not merely used to measure learning outcomes, but also to monitor learning processes and support students’ overall growth. This article aims to examine the concepts, principles, forms, and procedures of assessment and educational evaluation in elementary schools, as well as their role in improving learning quality. This study employs a library research method by analyzing books, scientific journal articles, educational policy documents, and relevant regulations related to assessment and evaluation. The findings indicate that effective assessment must be objective, valid, reliable, transparent, comprehensive, and fair, covering attitudes, knowledge, and skills through authentic assessment. Educational evaluation conducted systematically—from planning to follow-up—plays a strategic role in enhancing learning effectiveness, identifying students’ learning difficulties, and supporting continuous improvement in elementary education

Abstract

Islam is a religion that regulates all aspects of human life, both spiritually and socially, including national and state life. The relationship between Islam and the state is an important study because Islam not only regulates the relationship between humans and Allah SWT, but also organizes social, political, and governmental life to achieve justice and the welfare of the people. This study aims to examine the meaning of Islam, the concept of the state, and Islamic views on the state from the perspectives of classical and contemporary scholars. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a library research type. Data were obtained through a review of primary sources such as the Qur'an and the works of scholars, as well as secondary sources in the form of books and relevant scientific literature. Data were analyzed using descriptive-analytical methods to gain a comprehensive understanding of the concepts of Islam and the state. The results of the study indicate that in the Islamic perspective, the state is a means to uphold justice, safeguard the public interest, and regulate community life based on divine and humanitarian values. Islam does not separate religion and the state, but rather views the two as a complementary entity. Basic principles such as monotheism, justice, deliberation, equality, and the welfare of the people are the main foundations of state governance according to Islam. Therefore, from an Islamic perspective, the state functions as a tool for realizing a just, moral, and divinely-based social order.

Abstract

Learning difficulties remain a major challenge in the educational process, affecting students’ academic achievement, motivation, and psychosocial development. Students often experience learning problems such as low learning motivation, difficulties in concentration, poor study habits, and emotional barriers that hinder academic performance. School guidance and counseling teachers play a strategic role in assisting students to overcome these learning problems through preventive, curative, and developmental services. This study aims to examine the role of guidance and counseling teachers in addressing students’ learning problems based on findings from national and international research. This study employed a qualitative descriptive method using a literature review approach. Data were collected from 25 relevant national and international journal articles published between 2015 and 2025. The results indicate that guidance and counseling teachers contribute significantly to overcoming learning problems through academic guidance services, individual counseling, group counseling, learning skill training, and collaboration with subject teachers and parents. These roles help students develop effective learning strategies, improve motivation, and achieve better academic adjustment.

Abstract

Islam places great importance on education, highlighting that the religion has a strong basis and clear goals concerning the necessity of acquiring knowledge. Consequently, this document aims to illustrate the Islamic goals in guiding its adherents to emphasize the importance of education. The conversation takes place by exploring Quranic verses related to educational objectives, which are then analyzed by considering different interpretations (tafsir) without restricting it to just one source. Furthermore, this research gathers numerous hadiths associated with educational goals to achieve a thorough understanding of the idea of education in Islam. The analysis incorporates the perspectives of Muslim scholars as comparative material to enhance the academic discussion surrounding the objectives of Islamic education. Additionally, the ideas of contemporary Western educators are employed as a benchmark in analyzing educational goals through the lens of the Quran and Hadith

Abstract

Indonesian learning in elementary schools has a strategic role in developing students' language skills which include listening, speaking, reading, and writing. However, the learning process in the classroom is often still dominated by conventional methods that are centered on teachers, resulting in low interest and active participation of students. Along with the development of educational technology, the use of technology-based audio-visual media is one of the effective alternatives to improve the quality of Indonesian learning. Audio-visual media is able to present learning materials in a concrete way through the combination of sound elements and moving images, making it easier for students to understand concepts, enrich vocabulary, and improve imagination and language skills. Abstract

Pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar selama ini masih terpaku langsung pada penyampaian materi yang diberikan oleh guru. Selama pembelajaran guru belum mengetahui kemampuan awal peserta didik dalam menguasai materi yang akan diajarkan. Jadi ketika peserta didik diberikan soal oleh guru masih ada beberapa peserta didik yang masih belum menguasai materi tersebut. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut guru harus memberikan asesmen diagnostik terlebih dahulu untuk mengetahui kemampuan awal peserta didik pada materi yang akan diajarkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis apakah asesmen diagnostik yang diberikan kepada peserta didik dapat memenuhi ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran, mendeskripsikan proses tindak lanjut yang tepat untuk peserta didik yang tidak memenuhi ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran setelah memperoleh pembelajaran, serta mendeskripsikan analisis hasil asesmen diagnostik pada mata pelajaran IPAS di kelas IV. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengambilan data pada penelitian ini yaitu observasi dan soal asesmen diagnostik kognitif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa setelah diberikan asesmen diagnostik dapat diketahui jika peserta didik kelas IV memiliki kesiapan belajar pada kemampuan awal yang berbeda-beda. Pemberian asesmen diagnostik sangat penting dilakukan oleh guru, terutama guru profesional. Hal ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kesiapan belajar peserta didik. Perbedaan ini nantinya akan dijadikan acuan oleh guru dalam menyusun pembelajaran agar berlangsung dengan baik dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) instructional model on the independent character of fourth-grade students at SDN 04 Kedoya Utara, West Jakarta. The background of this study arises from the low level of student independence, as students still tend to rely on teachers in completing tasks. This research employed a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design using the Posttest Only Control Design. The sample consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class, with a total of 64 students. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, and then analyzed using an Independent Samples T-Test through SPSS version 22. The results indicate a significant effect of the Problem-Based Learning model on students’ independent character, with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05. This finding demonstrates that the implementation of PBL can enhance students’ sense of responsibility, discipline, curiosity, and self-confidence in learning. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of management effectiveness and member participation on the welfare of members of the Sembako Cooperative at the Center for Marine Aquaculture (BBPBL) Lampung. The study used a quantitative method with an associative approach, with a population and sample of 80 cooperative members determined through a total sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression using the SPSS program. The results showed that management effectiveness had a positive and significant effect on member welfare, member participation also had a positive and significant effect on member welfare, and both variables simultaneously had a significant effect on cooperative member welfare, with management effectiveness as the variable that had a more dominant influence. This study concluded that improving the welfare of cooperative members requires effective cooperative management and active and sustainable member participation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine how far the learning motivation of elementary school students in this digital era increases in using interactive media based on educational games. The method used is a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest design in this design students are given an initial test to determine the level of student learning motivation and ends with a final test to see changes in student learning motivation when using educational games, the subjects of the study are fifth grade students at SDN Oebobo 2. From research that has been conducted at SD Oebobo 2 there is a slight increase in student learning motivation in using interactive media based on games in the learning process in the classroom due to internal and external factors that do not support.
