Abstract

This study focuses on analyzing Syaikh Mutawalli Sya’rawi’s interpretation of Surah Al-Fath verse 29, which portrays Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his companions as Qudwah Hasanah exemplary role models. Syaikh Sya’rawi, a contemporary Egyptian scholar, is renowned for his distinctive exegetical style that combines linguistic depth, communicative clarity, and relevance to contemporary social issues. The urgency of this research arises from the current crisis of moral exemplarity within educational settings, emphasizing the importance of reintroducing the Prophet’s values of Qudwah into modern education. The primary aim of this study is to explore Syaikh Sya’rawi’s understanding of the Prophet’s and companions’ exemplary qualities and to examine their relevance to character formation in today’s educational context. This research employs a qualitative method using a literature review approach, with the data analyzed descriptively. The findings reveal that, according to Syaikh Sya’rawi, the values of Qudwah Hasanah embodied by the Prophet and his companions include firmness in upholding the faith, compassion toward others, and complete obedience to Allah Almighty. These values remain highly relevant to modern education as a means to revive the presence of authentic role models who can inspire the younger generation.

Abstract

Character education serves as a fundamental foundation for shaping the personality of elementary school students. However, in practice, character education is often implemented in a normative manner and has not been deeply integrated into the learning process. This article aims to examine the revitalization of character education in elementary schools through the Deep Learning approach from the perspective of Bung Hatta’s national education ideas. This study employs a qualitative approach using a library research method by analyzing relevant literature, including Bung Hatta’s educational thoughts, national education policies, and theoretical as well as empirical studies on deep learning and character education. The findings indicate that Bung Hatta’s educational ideas emphasize the development of individuals with strong character, moral integrity, independence, and a sense of responsibility as citizens. These values conceptually align with the principles of Deep Learning, which focus on meaningful understanding, critical reflection, active student engagement, and the internalization of values within real-life contexts. The integration of the Deep Learning approach with Bung Hatta’s national education ideas has the potential to revitalize character education in elementary schools in a more contextual, holistic, and sustainable manner. Therefore, this approach can serve as a strategic alternative for strengthening the implementation of character education that goes beyond knowledge acquisition and emphasizes the formation of students’ attitudes and noble values.

Abstract

Learning methods are very necessary because everything related to the learning process certainly uses methods in its delivery, the use of the right method can also determine student learning outcomes. The application of the edutainment method aims to provide convenience to students, create a conducive learning environment, a tool to reduce boredom and can help improve student learning outcomes. This research was conducted on mathematics subjects because mathematics is one of the most important subjects among other subjects, has an important role in various disciplines and advances human thinking power, and is very useful for everyday life. This research is included in Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of three meetings. One cycle consists of 4 stages of activity, namely the planning stage, the implementation stage, the observation stage and the reflection stage. The data collection technique used in this study is qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of this study indicate that student learning outcomes after implementing the edutainment method have increased, this can be seen from the learning outcomes of students in cycle I, students who have an average score of 0-54-55-59 (very low, low) none, 60-79 as many as 7 students, 80-89 (high) as many as 18 students, and those who have an average score of 90-100 (very high) as many as 6 students. And in cycle II, students who have an average score of 0-54-55-59 (very low, low) none, 60-79 as many as 12 students, while students who have an average score of 80-89 (high) as many as 15 students, while those who have an average score of 90-100 (very high) as many as 4 students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya pemahaman siswa terhadap materi faktor bilangan dan faktor persekutuan, sehingga kesulitan untuk memahami materi dan memecahkan masalah matematika. Permasalahan yang diangkat adalah bagaimana pemahaman konsep menghitung siswa pada pembelajaran matematika faktor bilangan dan faktor persekutuan yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran berbantu media ular tangga, serta apakah peningkatan pemahaman konsep menghitung matematika materi faktor bilangan dan faktor persekutuan berbantu media ular tangga memenuhi kriteria valid sebagai media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep menghitung siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peningkatan pemahaman konsep menghitung faktor bilangan dan persekutuan dengan media ular tangga. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 23 siswa, dengan sampling jenuh yaitu teknik penemuan sampel bila semua anggota populasi digunakan sebagai sampel. Terdapat peningkatan pemahaman konsep menghitung faktor bilangan dan persekutuan dengan media ular tangga di kelas IV SDN Barusari 02. Persentase ketuntasan pemahaman konsep menghitung faktor bilangan dan persekutuan dengan media ular tangga dari 30,4% pada tahap pra tindakan meningkat menjadi 56,5% pada siklus I dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 87,0%.

Abstract

The study of Nusantara Qur’anic exegesis is essential for understanding how the Qur’an interacts with local socio cultural contexts. One significant work in this tradition is Tafsir Al-Ibriz by K.H. Bisri Mustofa of Rembang, which was written in Javanese Pegon and aimed at pesantren communities and the wider Javanese Muslim society. This study aims to analyze and describe the characteristics of Tafsir Al-Ibriz, particularly in terms of language usage, interpretive method, exegetical orientation, and da‘wah approach within the framework of Nusantara tafsir. This research employs a qualitative library research method using a descriptive analytical approach to examine the primary text and relevant secondary sources. The findings reveal that Tafsir Al-Ibriz is characterized by its use of accessible local language, an ijmali (concise) interpretive method, and a strong socio-religious orientation that emphasizes practical moral guidance. The study concludes that Tafsir Al-Ibriz represents an important contribution to Nusantara Qur’anic exegesis and plays a significant role in making Qur’anic teachings more comprehensible and relevant to local Muslim communities.

Abstract

Criticism is a fundamental instrument in intellectual and social life; however, in practice, its meaning often shifts from a reflective tool to an expression of subjective interests. This phenomenon becomes problematic when criticism is no longer grounded in factual reality but is driven by emotions, prejudice, or hidden agendas. This study aims to examine the nature of criticism and to test its relevance within the framework of social and intellectual reality. This research employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method by analyzing scholarly works on critical theory, social reality, and public discourse. Data analysis is conducted through content and interpretative analysis to identify the relationship between criticism and the reality that surrounds it. The findings indicate that constructive criticism must be based on rationality, intellectual honesty, and an orientation toward improvement. Criticism detached from reality tends to distort meaning and potentially generate social conflict. This study concludes that sound criticism is not merely an expression of freedom of speech but must be tested through its alignment with reality and moral responsibility.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model Project Based Learning pada pembelajaran Matematika kelas IVdi SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV SD.Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan tahapan, pertama reduksi data, kedua penyajian data, ketiga menarik kesimpulan dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model project based learning pada pembelajaran Matematika di SD Dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan dua tahap yaitu : (1) tahap persiapan, (2) tahap pelaksanaan. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam pengimplementasian model project based learning pada pembelajaran Matematika kelas IV Sekolah Dasar merupakan model pembelajaran yang diterapkan oleh guru, sehingga menciptakan pembelajaran yang menarik dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Strategic planning is a fundamental component of elementary school management to ensure sustainable educational quality. This study aims to analyze strategic planning practices at SD Aisyiyah Muhammadiyah 3, focusing on the formulation of the school’s vision, mission, and goals; the preparation of the School Development Plan (RPS), School Work Plan (RKS), and School Activity and Budget Plan (RKAS); as well as the implementation of performance indicators and the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI). This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, document analysis, and questionnaires. The findings indicate that the school’s strategic planning has been implemented in a participatory manner involving the foundation, school committee, teachers, and parents. School programs are strongly aligned with the formulated vision and mission, particularly in strengthening Islamic character education and student potential development. However, the implementation of SPMI remains at an early stage, and school performance indicators are largely based on external standards. This study recommends strengthening SPMI, developing contextual performance indicators, and implementing data-based planning to improve the quality of elementary education.

Abstract

The study of Qur’anic exegesis in the Indonesian context plays a significant role in understanding interpretations that are responsive to social realities. One of the prominent works in Indonesian Qur’anic scholarship is Tafsir An-Nur by Hasbi Ash-Shiddieqy, which reflects a modern approach to Qur’anic interpretation. This research aims to examine the characteristics, methods, and interpretative approaches employed in Tafsir An-Nur, as well as its contribution to the development of Nusantara tafsir. This study employs a library research method with a qualitative-descriptive approach. Data were collected through documentation of Tafsir An-Nur as the primary source and relevant supporting literature, and analyzed using content analysis techniques. The findings indicate that Tafsir An-Nur applies a systematic and accessible interpretative method, emphasizing rational and contextual understanding. The work seeks to connect Qur’anic teachings with the social conditions of Indonesian society, making the interpretation practical and comprehensible. This study concludes that Tafsir An-Nur significantly contributes to the development of modern Indonesian Qur’anic exegesis that is moderate, rational, and socially relevant.

Abstract

In vitro fertilization (IVF) technology has become a medical solution for couples experiencing infertility. However, this practice has raised controversy among Islamic scholars, especially regarding the validity of the process in the eyes of Islamic law. This study uses a hadith criticism approach, both from the sanad and matan aspects, to examine hadiths related to reproduction and their implications for the practice of IVF. The results of the study indicate that although there is no explicit hadith regarding IVF, the principles of Islamic reproductive ethics can be traced through a contextual understanding of the related hadiths. In conclusion, the practice of IVF is acceptable according to sharia if it is carried out within the limits that are in accordance with the maqashid sharia and does not violate the principle of lineage.
