Abstract

This article examines the interdisciplinary approach as a new paradigm in basic education, which is considered relevant in responding to the complexity of 21st-century challenges. The rapid development of science, technology, and social change requires students not only to master knowledge in a partial and fragmented manner, but also to be able to integrate various concepts to understand and solve real-life problems. However, learning practices in elementary schools are still dominated by traditional, subject-based models that are fragmented by disciplines. This pattern causes knowledge to be learned separately, making it difficult for students to connect concepts and apply them in their daily lives.The interdisciplinary approach emerges as an alternative learning paradigm that emphasizes the integration of different disciplines within a unified learning experience. Through this approach, students are guided to study a theme or problem from multiple perspectives, making learning more meaningful, contextual, and holistic. Furthermore, this approach is believed to foster 21st-century competencies such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, and integrated problem-solving skills.This study aims to examine in depth the conceptual foundations of the interdisciplinary approach, identify the problems of basic education that remain fragmented, and analyze the relevance of the interdisciplinary approach as a new paradigm in the learning process. The method used is a qualitative descriptive approach through a literature review of educational theories, curriculum policies, and previous studies related to integrated and interdisciplinary learning in basic education.The findings indicate that the interdisciplinary approach is able to create more meaningful learning, integrate various disciplines, and connect the learning process with students’ real-life contexts. Learning becomes more active, reflective, and problem-oriented. However, its implementation still faces several challenges, including limited teacher understanding and readiness, curriculum structures that remain subject-centered, and assessment systems that emphasize cognitive outcomes. Therefore, systemic support, paradigm shifts, and supportive policies are required so that the interdisciplinary approach can be implemented effectively in basic education.

Abstract

Writing is an important basic skill for students in the learning process. Many fifth-grade students of SD Inpres Mallengkeri Bertingkat Makassar experience difficulties in developing ideas and expressing them in a coherent and coherent sequence of written events. In addition, the narrative essays produced by students tend to be short and lack detail so that the story becomes less interesting. The purpose of this study was to analyze the narrative essay writing skills of fifth-grade students. The method used in this study was descriptive qualitative, with 29 students as research subjects. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity was obtained from triangulation of techniques and sources, while data analysis was obtained using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The results of the study indicate that students' narrative essay writing skills are still in the sufficient and insufficient category and need to be improved through writing habits, strengthening reading literacy, and the application of more varied and contextual learning methods.

Abstract

Islam is a religion that governs all aspects of human life, including relationships with Allah SWT and relationships with other human beings. One of the core teachings of Islam is the formation of noble morals as the foundation of individual and social life. This article aims to examine the concepts of Islam and morals, their relationship, the types of morals in Islam, the sources of morals, and their implementation in daily life. The writing method used is a literature study by examining the Quran, hadith, and relevant scientific literature. The results of the study indicate that morals are a concrete manifestation of faith and serve as a benchmark for the quality of a person's Islam. The consistent implementation of Islamic morals can shape the character of a faithful, knowledgeable, and responsible Muslim who is able to face the challenges of modern life.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the ease of use of digital information systems in supporting managerial decision-making at PT. Pegadaian Bulukumba Branch from a management accounting perspective. The use of information technology is considered important for producing fast, precise, and accurate decisions. The method used is descriptive qualitative with interview, observation, and documentation techniques. Research informants include leaders, employees, and customers who are directly involved in the use of digital systems. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the ease of use of digital information systems contributes to the effectiveness of managerial decision-making. This can be seen from the easily accessible and accurate system that simplifies information analysis, and supports planning, control, and evaluation of company performance.

Abstract

This study aims to provide a deeper understanding of the relationship between Islamic teachings and character building (Akhlak), as well as the implementation of these values within the Muhammadiyah perspective. The method used is library research by analyzing the Quran, Hadith, and the Guidelines for Islamic Living of Muhammadiyah Citizens (PHIWM). The results show that Akhlak is the fruit of Aqidah and Sharia which cannot be separated. In Muhammadiyah, Akhlak is not just a theory but a practice of life that covers vertical relationships with Allah and horizontal relationships with humans, oneself, the environment, and the state. Character building requires a long process through knowledge, habituation, and emulating the Prophet Muhammad SAW. Keywords: Akhlak, Islam, Muhammadiyah, Character Building

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan rancang bangun, menguji validitas, menguji kepraktisan, dan menguji efektivitas e-modul interaktif berorientasi literasi sains pada materi sistem peredaran darah manusia di kelas V sekolah dasar. Penelitian pengembangan ini berpedoman pada model ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu: (1) analisis (analysis), (2) perancangan (design), (3) pengembangan (development), (4) implementasi (implementation), dan (5) evaluasi (evaluation). Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah bahan ajar e-modul interaktif berorientasi literasi sains pada materi sistem peredaran darah manusia, sedangkan objek penelitian ini adalah validitas, kepraktisan dan efektivitas e-modul interaktif berorinetasi literasi sains pada materi sistem peredaran darah manusia di kelas V sekolah dasar. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner dan tes. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data yaitu instrumen rating scale skala 5 berupa lembar penilaian yang diisi oleh ahli media, ahli materi, praktisi/guru dan siswa, serta menggunakan instrumen pilihan ganda untuk menguji efektivitas produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) e-modul interaktif berorientasi literasi sains memperoleh rata-rata hasil validitas ahli media sebesar 4,67 dengan kualifikasi sangat baik, (2) rata-rata hasil validitas ahli materi sebesar 4,64 dengan kualifikasi validitas sangat baik, (3) memperoleh penilaian kepraktisan produk oleh praktisi/guru sebesar 4,89 dan penilaian dari siswa sebesar 4,83 dengan kualifikasi sangat baik, (4) hasil uji t-berpasangan memperoleh nilai siginifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 (taraf signifikansi 5%).

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research (CAR) that aims to improve the activity and learning outcomes of science through the application of the Cooperative Learning model in fifth-grade students of SDN 187 Pekanbaru. The research subjects were 38 students. The research was conducted in two cycles, where each cycle included the planning stage, action implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation of student activities and science learning outcome tests. Student activity data were analyzed using percentages, while learning outcome data were analyzed by comparing the increase in scores in each cycle. The results showed that the application of the Cooperative Learning model can improve students' activities and learning outcomes of science. Student activity in cycle I meeting 1 reached 70.83% with a sufficient category, then increased to 87.5% with a good category in cycle I meeting 2, and again increased to 91.67% with a very good category in cycle II meeting 1. In line with the increase in student activity, the results of learning science also increased, namely by 12,77% in cycle I meeting 1 and increased in cycle I meeting 2 to 36.21% and increased again in cycle II meeting 1 from the basic score, with the total student score reaching 3345 with a percentage of 39.35%. Thus, it can be concluded that the Cooperative Learning model in increasing the activity and results of learning science of class V students of SDN 187 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

The Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) as one of the National Assessment instruments is a new policy innovation in learning evaluation in Indonesia which is expected to improve the quality of education and the competence of students in facing global challenges. However, the fact is that this policy has not been socialized properly at every level of the education unit. The purpose of this study is to provide a holistic understanding of the AKM concept and its implementation at the education unit level as part of the National Assessment. The method used is library research. The results of this study obtained empirical facts that the AKM is an innovation in a national assessment designed to measure reading literacy and mathematical literacy (numeracy). Literacy AKM is used to measure the ability to understand, use, evaluate and reflect on various types of texts to solve problems and develop individual capacities as citizens of Indonesia and citizens of the world so that they can contribute productively to society, meanwhile AKM numeracy is implemented to measure the ability to think using concepts, procedures facts, and mathematical tools to solve everyday problems in contexts that are relevant to individuals as citizens of Indonesia and the world.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in the Pancasila Education subject at SD Negeri 11 Metro Pusat, which resulted from the use of less varied instructional models and the limited application of interactive learning media. This research aims to determine the effect of the Discovery Learning model assisted by Wordwall media on students’ learning outcomes. The study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method using a Nonequivalent Control Group Design, involving all 66 fifth-grade students as the sample through a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected using tests (pretest and posttest) to measure learning outcomes, as well as non-test techniques, including observations (observation sheets) and documentation, to examine students’ learning activities. Data analysis included normality testing, homogeneity testing, and simple linear regression. The results indicate that the Discovery Learning model, assisted by Wordwall media, significantly improves students’ learning outcomes, as evidenced by the higher post-test scores in the experimental class compared to the control class, with a statistical significance value of 0.00 < 0.05. Therefore, the Discovery Learning model, assisted by Wordwall media, has been proven effective in enhancing learning outcomes in Pancasila Education at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor apa saja yang menyebabkan rendahnya minat baca pada siswa kelas III di SDN Peterongan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas, guru dan orang tua siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif berdasarkan hasil observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor penyebab kurangnya minat baca siswa, yaitu faktor internal merupakan faktor yang berasal dari diri siswa yaitu kemampuan membaca, memahami makna yang terkandung dalam bacaan, kesulitan membaca, membaca buku atas perintah guru, siswa jarang mencari buku atau bahan bacaan sesuai dengan kebutuhannya dan siswa yang menyelesaikan tugas melalui internet tanpa buku. Sedangkan, faktor eksternal yaitu faktor keluarga, faktor ekonomi, lingkungan sekolah kurang mendukung dan literasi program belum berjalan maksimal.
