Abstract

The low quality of elementary school learning, particularly in evaluation, is caused by limited media, monotonous methods, and insufficient utilization of technology. The use of digital platforms such as Quizwhizzer is expected to enhance students’ interest, motivation, and learning outcomes in the topic of Magnet. This study aims to develop and assess the feasibility of learning evaluation using Quizwhizzer on the topic of Magnet. The researcher applied the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results of the trial validation of the learning evaluation using Quizwhizzer indicated that it is highly feasible for use. Validity test results from media experts showed a percentage of 92%, language experts also 92%, and content experts 96%, while the trial conducted with 20 fifth-grade students in class V-C obtained a response rate of 87%, indicating that the Quizwhizzer-based learning evaluation product is highly suitable for use in teaching the topic of Magnet at SDN Tajur 1 Bogor.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar belakang yang mendorong penelitian ini adalah guru dalam mengajar di kelas belum memaksimalkan penggunaan media interaktif dikarenakan terbatasnya kemampuan guru untuk membuat media pembelajaran berdasarkan powerpoint. Sehingga, peserta didik kurang berminat mengikuti pembelajaran matematika terlebih pada materi penjumlahan dan pengurangan yang merupakan dasar sangat penting. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik melalui penggunaan media yang menarik dan interaktif. Metode penelitian yag digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan sampel penelitian sejumlah 28 peserta didik kelas 1 SD N Plamongansari 02. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan peneliti yaitu observasi, wawancara tidak terstruktur, angket respon peserta didik, dan dokumentasi. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan skor 1.329 dan total skor maksimal 2.240. Angket minat belajar yang sudah didapat kemudian dinyatakan dalam bentuk persentase. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan angka 79,1% dan tergolong dalam kriteria sangat tinggi. Artinya penggunaan media PPT interaktif memiliki dampak positif terhadap minat belajar peserta didik dan memungkinkan peserta didik untuk terlibat secara aktif dalam pembelajaran. Kata Kunci: Media Powerpoint Interaktif, Minat belajar, Matematika.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital di era modern telah membawa perubahan signifikan terhadap pola hidup siswa, khususnya dalam penggunaan perangkat digital seperti gawai, media sosial, dan permainan daring. Perubahan ini berdampak pada menurunnya aktivitas fisik siswa yang berpotensi memengaruhi kebugaran jasmani dan kesehatan secara keseluruhan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh gaya hidup digital terhadap tingkat aktivitas fisik siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, kuesioner, dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa sekolah menengah yang aktif menggunakan perangkat digital dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intensitas penggunaan perangkat digital yang tinggi berkorelasi dengan rendahnya tingkat aktivitas fisik siswa. Sebagian besar siswa lebih banyak menghabiskan waktu untuk aktivitas sedentari dibandingkan melakukan aktivitas fisik terstruktur maupun olahraga. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa gaya hidup digital menjadi salah satu faktor utama penyebab menurunnya aktivitas fisik siswa di era modern, sehingga diperlukan upaya kolaboratif antara sekolah, keluarga, dan lingkungan untuk mendorong pola hidup aktif dan sehat.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance students' learning motivation in Grade VIII (30 students) at SMPN 7 Cilegon on Information Technology material using the Discovery Learning model supported by Kahoot media. The research employed a descriptive quantitative method. The results indicate that the use of Kahoot had a significant positive impact, improving students' learning motivation, understanding of the material, ability to retain information, and academic achievement through its engaging and interactive quiz format. In conclusion, Kahoot proves to be an effective ICT-based learning tool for sparking interest, facilitating material mastery, and enhancing overall teaching and learning quality at SMPN 7 Cilegon.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan media pembelajaran Word Wall terhadap motivasi dan prestasi belajar siswa sekolah dasar. Media Word Wall merupakan media visual berupa kumpulan kosakata kunci yang ditempatkan di dinding kelas dan digunakan secara aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen, melibatkan siswa sekolah dasar sebagai subjek penelitian. Data motivasi belajar dikumpulkan melalui angket, sedangkan data prestasi belajar diperoleh melalui tes hasil belajar. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan teknik statistik untuk melihat perbedaan motivasi dan prestasi belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah penerapan media Word Wall. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media pembelajaran Word Wall berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap peningkatan motivasi dan prestasi belajar siswa. Dengan demikian, media Word Wall dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran yang efektif untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang menarik dan bermakna di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of learning difficulties among students of the Information Systems Study Program at Nusa Putra University based on their perceptions of the learning process. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire covering variables of material understanding, learning methods, learning interaction, learning media, and learning environment. The analysis was conducted using an Educational Data Mining approach by applying the K-Means Clustering algorithm, while the optimal number of clusters was determined using the Elbow Method. The results indicate the formation of three learning difficulty clusters, namely low, moderate, and high, with most students classified in the moderate learning difficulty cluster. This condition suggests that the learning process has not yet fully achieved optimal effectiveness and still requires improvement. Centroid analysis shows that material understanding and learning interaction are the dominant factors influencing students’ learning difficulties. The clustering results provide a clear description of student characteristics within each group, which can support academic evaluation processes. Therefore, the findings of this study are expected to assist lecturers and study programs in developing more adaptive, effective, and data-driven learning strategies to improve the overall quality of higher education learning. Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of teacher professional ethics in maintaining teaching time discipline at SDN X Merangin. Teacher professional ethics serves as a moral guideline regulating responsibility, integrity, and professional commitment in carrying out educational duties. Discipline in teaching time reflects teacher professionalism and directly affects learning quality. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with three classroom teachers and one principal as participants. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. The findings show that teachers at SDN X Merangin strive to maintain punctuality and teaching readiness as forms of professional responsibility and respect for students. Professional ethics is reflected in punctual attendance, lesson preparedness, and honesty in implementing schedules. However, external duties, administrative tasks, and limited supervision still affect time discipline. The study concludes that teacher professional ethics strongly supports the establishment of discipline, responsibility, and professionalism in primary education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of the philosophical foundations of education and management theory in elementary school management practices at SDN 89 Lappa, Sinjai Regency. The research problem stems from the persistence of administrative school managerial practices that do not fully reflect the philosophical values ​​of education. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, direct observation, documentation studies, and questionnaires, with the principal and teachers as research participants. Data analysis was conducted qualitatively through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, and its validity was tested through triangulation of sources and techniques. The results show that managerial practices at SDN 89 Lappa have integrated the values ​​of humanism, essentialism, and progressivism in a relatively balanced manner. This integration is reflected in learning policies, student development, and school decision-making. From a management perspective, the school applies classical management functions (POAC) enriched with modern and contemporary management principles, such as continuous improvement, data-based decision-making, and a participatory approach. These findings indicate that effective elementary school management requires the integration of philosophical values ​​and management theory as a foundation for holistic, quality-oriented educational management.

Abstract

Elementary education plays a fundamental role in shaping students’ cognitive, social, and emotional development. Therefore, the learning process in elementary schools should be grounded in strong psychological foundations, particularly child development theories and learning theories. This article aims to analyze child development theories and learning theories as psychological foundations of elementary education and their implications for instructional practices in elementary schools. This study employed a qualitative approach using library research. Data were obtained from educational psychology textbooks, child development theory books, learning theory references, and relevant scholarly journal articles. Data analysis was conducted through content analysis of the selected literature. The findings indicate that child development theories proposed by Piaget, Erikson, and Vygotsky provide a comprehensive understanding of elementary school students’ characteristics in terms of cognitive, psychosocial, and socio-cultural aspects. Meanwhile, behaviorist, cognitive, constructivist, and humanistic learning theories offer a conceptual framework for teachers in designing learning activities that are appropriate to students’ developmental stages and learning needs. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of the teacher’s role as a learning facilitator, the adjustment of instructional methods, media, and assessment, the implementation of student-centered learning, and the creation of a learning environment that supports children’s development. Thus, integrating child development theories and learning theories as psychological foundations of elementary education is expected to promote effective, meaningful, and developmentally appropriate learning

Abstract

Live Line Work (PDKB) on Medium Voltage (MV) networks is a maintenance method carried out without shutting down the electrical flow, yet it carries a high level of occupational safety risk. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) performance in PDKB activities at PT PLN (Persero), focusing on four variables: hazard detection systems, management policy, facilities and infrastructure, and human resource (HR) awareness. A quantitative approach was employed using multiple linear regression analysis to examine the impact of each variable on OHS performance. The results show that out of the four independent variables examined, two have a significant influence on OSH performance, the hazard detection system (t-count = 3.611 > t-table = 1.708) and facilities and infrastructure (t-count = 4.068 > t-table = 1.708). Meanwhile, namely management policy (t-count = -0.571) and HR awareness (t-count = -0.706) do not show significant influence. These findings indicate that the success of OSH performance in PDKB TM is greatly influenced by the hazard detection system and the availability of adequate facilities, while the effectiveness of hazard detection and worker awareness needs to be improved. This study contributes to strengthening occupational safety management systems in the electricity sector.
